Sync of 2 calendars to Outlook

Hi,
We have a new employee who comes to the company with his old Excange account on the iphone. Then put our exchange account to the iPhone and he can see the calendar in Outlook, but we are not able to see both calendars (Old exchange, new exchange) on the iPhone. Only the new one.
How do we merge these two calendars into one calendar? How do we sync both calendars to Outlook ?

CKnapp24,
Issues may occur leading to data corruption or data loss if you regularly sync Contacts, Calendars, Notes, or bookmarks between multiple computers using iTunes and your iPhone or iPod touch. Syncing once to move your data over to a new computer should not cause these issues.
If you are willing to risk this, continue syncing. If not, I would suggest finding an alternative means of syncing information with the secondary computer.
Review http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1474 for possible suggestions.

  • Unable to sync contacts and calendar to outlook 2010 or iphone 5

I work in IT and several of our clients are have trouble syncing contacts and calendar to outlook 2010 or iphones.
I have uninstall itunes completely from the computer, deleted the backup and clear the sync history nothing seems to be working.
Is there are problem with the latest itunes and if so when will the fix be release???

This is exactly what I am dealing with. Blackberry Link will work great for awhile and then something happens and I can not sync my contacts. I have spent many hours and days trying to fix this to no avail. BB support has been great but I still go through a long process each time. This week I finally gave up and started using the Microsoft Hotmail Outlook Connector since my company does not offer Active Sync or Exchange. It works flawlessly. I would dedfinitely check it out. If you swith to a Widows Phone or Android this is one of the options they recommend you use.
In a nutshell Link is awful and BB should be ashamed of the product they put on the market. I will only use it for syncing pictures and documents. Good luck!

I am having multiple issues with syncing my iphone calendar and outlook calendar on my laptop
I mostly enter the original items on my laptop
There are often 1 hour time differences in the entries on the 2 devices and sometimes events that have been amended are not updated on iphone

This sounds like an error in Time Zone support. The time zone needs to be the same in Outlook as well as the phone.

  • How do I sync multiple iCloud calendars with outlook

I am running Outlook 2007 (not exchange) on a PC and want to sync multiple (3-4) iCloud calendars with Outlook. Currently I am syncing only one and works great, but I am having a terrible time on setting up additional iCloud Calendars. Any suggestions?

    Diesel -
    First, Thanks for responding!!!
Second, I've got it syncing with one, and only one, of the calendars so I know that it can. The question that I have is if there is a way to sync with multiple calendars and if so how do I do it. I've got the one working by having iCloud sync with one of my calendars in outlook and my phone sync with iCloud. Does anyone have an idea how to accomplish this?

  • ICloud WINDOWS 7 64 Bit sync problem with calendar of Outlook 2010

    I am using
    iPhone 4S (IOS5)
    iPad 1 (IOS5)
    PC (WINDOS 7 SR1 32 bit, Cor-2-duo) & Outlook 2010, 32 bit, at home
    PC (WINDOWS 7 SR1 64 bit, Intel i7) &  Outlook 2010 version 14.0.6106.5005 (32-Bit), in my office
together with iCoud for syncing my contacts (about 500) and calenders (2 calenders, about 3.000 and 8.000 entries) with Outlook 2010
The syncing works perfect for 1., 2. an 3., but I have severe problems with the 64bit PC:
The iCloud operating pannel is only displayed after a fresh reset of the system. Two processes are running (iCloud.exe*32, iCloudServices.exe *32), the iCloud icon on the task bar is displayed.  Opening of the iCloud operating pannel fails by all means ( via icon, via network->icloud) etc. after Outlook 2010 has started once.
After closing Outlook, a restart of Outlook is perfored but displays "loading data" till infinity. The task manager is required to shut down Outlook.
After a fresh reset outlook starts (normal behavior) and displays the contacts (complete) and both calendars, but has only downloaded during set-up only about 7.000 entries of the 11.000 entries which are still displayed in the calendar of the  web interface of iCloud and are displayed nicely on iPhone, iPad and the 32bit PC. The sync of new calendar entries works perfect between all four systems.
I have removed and reinstalled the iCloud operating panel sereal times, checked the Outlook pst file for errors -> no success.
Any suggestions how to overcome this problem?

I had a similar problem back lst year with MobileMe and outlook. I had to uninstall outlook and MM control panel completely then reinstal MM THEN Outlook and then MM would download all 5 of my MM calendars into Outlook including all events
do they stop at a certain date i remember seeing an option somewhere that specified how far back to sync appointments

  • Syncing contacts and calendar with outlook and gmail - use Exchange or not?

I need to sync my contacts and calendar between my iphone and Outlook and google on my laptop. Syncing via iTunes is fine as a backup but not as a constant process. I then saw that Gmail would permit an Exchange account to be used to allow immediate syncing so I installed an Exchange account on the iphone. It works but I now have doubled contacts. Is there a better way of doing this to avoid duplicate contacts? If I dedupe the contacts on the iphone do I risk then deleting contacts in Outlook on my PC? Alternatively if I delete the Exchange account on the iPhone is there a simple way of keeping calendars in sync on Iphone, Google and Outlook? (I just have two gmail accounts and do not have a Microsoft Exchange server)
Grateful for any useful advice on this issue!

FYI I eventually developed a work around that works better. I have a mac at home and a window pc at work. You can use plaxo to sync contacts between the two and the ipod syncs with the mac as advertised. Also as a bonus you don't have to deal with any issues, problems and pains with multiple itunes locations...

  • Which syncs better google calendar or outlook

I'm ready to put google on the back burner, switch my mail accounts to .me.com and sync my MS Outlook 2010 calendar with my iCloud calendar... Before I do this I would like to get some feedback from someone who is syncing Outlook calendar with the iCloud calendar. Right now I am syncing my Outlook with Google that syncs with iCal.
    Thoughts? Opinions?

    Hi, Ericka.
Yes, I have the Google sync app.  It is doing the 2-way sync correctly between Google calendar and Outlook.  On my iPhone I can see both my iPhone Calendar and the Google calendar.  The challenge is that there isn't any syncing moving appointments from my phone to Google . . . which will then move to my Outlook.  What is so frustrating is that all of this worked on the old MobilMe calendar.  I don't know why they forced us to move to something that doesn't work!!!
    Thanks for your help.

  • My iPhone calendar is not syncing to Google Calendar or Outlook.

I was previously using MobilMe sync for calendar fine until the req 'upgrade' last week.  Now cal WILL NOT sync to phone from outlook (2 hours on support with Apple.  They have concluded it must be a Microsoft issue . . . however, it was working fine before the required upgrade). Anyway, MobilMe is now a boat anchor, so I am trying 2-way Google syncing to take the iPhone appts from my phone to Google --> and Google --> Outlook.  The 2-way sync between Google and Outlook is fine, and I can see Google and the separate iPhone appts on my PHONE - however, I cannot get the phone appts to sync to Google so that they can sync to Outlook.  Help!!!

  • Sync iphone 4s calendar to outlook 2010

My 4s calendar syncs with iTunes, but how do I get the calendar to sync with Outlook 2010 on a Windows 7 desktop computer?

Update:  I haven't used Outlook until tonight. I just made some calendar entries directly into Outlook, then synced in iTunes.  The Outlook enteries showed up on my iPhone calendar.
But, I have a lot of entries on my iPhone, and I want to copy them into Outlook, but they don't copy from the iPhone to Outlook, only vice-versa.
I'd really be grateful for instructions on how to get iPhone calendar enteries to copy into Outlook 2010.
    Thanks.

  • How can I sync my iOs Calendar to outlook 2010?

I've tried reading various other threads on this issue, and none seem to be resolved. Some don't even make sense and yet are marked as solved?
I'm looking to add my phone's calendar to Outlook, the same way I can add my outlook calendar to my phone...?

    Hi jenniferfromajax!
I have an article that can explain to you how to get information to sync into your computer from an iOS device:
iOS: How to transfer or sync content to your computer
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1296
Specifically, it seems like this is the information that will be most pertinent to you:
    Calendars
To sync calendars with your computer, choose "Sync Calendars" or "Sync iCal Calendars."
    You can sync calendars with:
Microsoft Outlook 2003, Microsoft Outlook 2007, Microsoft Office 2010 (Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7)
    iCal (Mac OS X)
Microsoft Entourage 2004, Microsoft Entourage 2008
Note: If using Microsoft Entourage, use Microsoft Entourage 2008 12.1.2 or later if syncing with Mac OS X v10.6 or later. If you would like to sync data on your Mac with Entourage, enable syncing between Entourage and Address Book.
    Microsoft Outlook 2011 for Mac
Note: If using Microsoft Outlook 2011 for Mac to sync calendars you must update to Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac Service Pack 1 or later.
If you are having difficulty syncing your iPhone with your computer, you may also want to reference this article:

  • Syncing Contacts and Calendar with Outlook

I am unable to sync my contacts and calendar with outlook. I am not sure which version of outlook I have so that may be the problem, is there a way to look up which version of outlook I currently have?
I am running Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002 Service pack 3 it that helps.

When you installed office 2007 did you reinstall iTunes? This may be necessary because the iTunes installation adds a plug-in to Outlook to manage the sync. You may have to completely remove iTunes, reboot, then reinstall it. See: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925?viewlocale=en_US

  • How do you sync "only" your calendar in outlook 2007?

Please somebody help me! In prior releases of iCloud Sync for Outlook 2007, I was able to Sync only my Calendar!
With my most recent laptop, my phone and Laptop Synced through iCloud and now it has taken me hours and hours to fix the Contacts to the point they are ok on my Phone again!
There is no selection tool in the iCloud Panel when you select Mail, Contact, Etc.  I can't go through this again. So now with the latest update of iCloud to my PC I may have to find a work a round because without "deselecting" other than Calendar, I don't want to sync!
    Please somebody Guide me.
    BK

What version of Palm Desktop are you using?
If 6.2.2, DO NOT install the Outlook 2007 update!  It has the update built into it, and a second installation of the update can cause numerous problems...

  • Can I sync my iCloud calendar with Outlook 365?  I upgraded from Office 2010 and now it doesn't sync.

I upgraded from Outlook 2010, and now it doesn't update in Outlook 365.  Thinking I can't do it, and it's a pity, cause I want it all to integrate on phone and on desktop.  I'm running Windows 7 and Office 365.  The iCloud app works fine with Internet Explorer, but I can't get the calendar to update.  Any suggestions?

Can't I just set up Exchange as one of my calendars in ical?
Only if you're running Snow Leopard and your employer will allow access (different than iPhone/mobile device access, so most likely not), but not needed - keep reading.
Is it really true that I have to choose between syncing Exchange with work server OR syncing iCal with personal Macbook?
No. It was true, but with the v3.0 software that changed - you can now sync your Exchange contacts and calendar over the air, and your Address Book and iCal via iTunes over the docking cable.
What is the best work around for this?
None needed. When you set up the exchange account, and choose to turn on syncing of contacts and calendars, you will be prompted to remove all other data, or keep it on the iPhone. Choose the keep option. Note that in that case, your personal data will not be uploaded to the Exchange server - the iPhone keeps them separate (although you can choose to view them in a merged fashion).
I have this set up on my phone (Exchange calendar along side personal and other calendars from iCal). Same for contacts. Works great.

  • IPhone - Sync issue with Calendar and Outlook 2003

I have been syncing with no problem up to yesterday - now I can't sync my Calendar with my PC. It doesn't make any difference whether I make an entry in iPhone or Outlook. I have reset sync history in iTunes - no change.
The only thing that I can think of that I did out of the ordinary was to copy and paste my contacts into another contacts group in Outlook.
It would appear to be a problem with Outlook as the iPhone syncs with iCal and Address book on my G4 laptop.
    Appreciate your help.
    Alani

Outlook is definately a problem. Ive been at it for a couple of days going through this thread and others. Still not syncing.
What Apple has to realize is that windows people have different microsoft offices, i use 2000 because the schedule is shared between everyone, this is an addon in newer copys of office.
When i make a call or recieve a call i would like to see an option to add the caller to the schedule .. When your on the phone with the caller you can just hit a button and it brings you right to the calendar and enters the caller in the schedule where ever you place them.
Anyway i will keep at the sync thing for a while and see what happens. Nothing so far. l8r
