Sync Outlook Contact List and AOL Contact List

I have several Outlook Accounts and an AOL Account. I would like to combine my calendar and contact lists into a single one. When I sync my phone, will the sync process allow mw to do that? If so, how?

The iPhone supports syncing contact info and calendar events direct via the iTunes sync process with Outlook 2003 or 2007. It doesn't matter how many email accounts you are accessing with Outlook.
The iPhone's mail client supports accessing POP or IMAP accounts, and can access an Exchange account via ActiveSync, which Apple licensed from Microsoft for the iPhone's mail client.
You can access an AOL account as an IMAP account with the iPhone's mail client, which includes an AOL account preset that creates the account as an IMAP account.
If your AOL contact list is not available in your Outlook contact list, you needs to do so since the iPhone does not support syncing contact info with the AOL program's address book.

I just got a new iPad 2 and I have lot of questions. I was able to wirelessly link my iPad and iTunes on my PC. I was able to SYNC my email and calendar (new entries only no history), however I have not been able to SYNC Outlook contacts. Outlook has multiple contact lists. Only one has any data. I can't find a way to delete the others and I can't keep the one I want to use at the top of the list. Any ideas?
I have a question about email. I have several thousand emails in 10 or so days. How can I select multiple emails for deletion in stead of one at a time? How do I designate emails from a given sender as junk or block certain senders?

the spcs page on this site state which video formats the ipad supports
I'd suggest converting your old videos to one of those formats
handbrake is a free program which does this for you
itunes used to be able to too when I right clicked incompatible media but don't see the option any more
or maybe it only show when one right click incompatible media and currently my lib don't have any
about the music then it's odd what formats are they?
if they are acc protected have you tried to remove the DRM this can be don using itunes as
apple don't use DRM for music any more

  • Sync outlook contact

How to sync outlook contact with Icloud and my iphone

I have recently upgraded from a 4s to a 6 model and experienced that it did not sync with Outlook. I contacted Apple support (Case ID: 698537496) whose advise was to upgrade to Outlook 2010 and MS8. I hung up on the service representative as he obviously was not sufficiently competent to resolve the issue. I the resorted to disconnect everything related to iCloud and bingo it works.

  • Does iphone sync Outlook contact categories

Does iphone sync Outlook contact categories?

    Hi Lawrence
I have now changed from a Blackberry Q10 to an iPhone 5s and all my contacts have synced across via outlook exchange. But they have not synced into their relevant/groups and none of the contact photos have synced across either.
Apple Care now tell me that this will not happen with the iPhone due to the way that this information is stored on the phone.
Do you, or anyone else there, have any other views on this please?

  • How do I sync outlook contacts and calendar without deleting apps?

I have a second iPad.  I wish to sync my Outlook contacts and calendar with my second iPad, however, upon doing so, I am prompted that I will be deleting the apps on the second iPad, which I suffered through yesterday (twice).  Ideas on how to get around this?  I am wondering how iTunes is not differentiating between the two iPads.
Any assistance is welcomed.  Thank you.

    Hi Bormond65,
Can you tell us a little bit more about your configuration? Are you using Exchange? Are you currently run Outlook for Mac (Office 2011) on your MacBook Pro? Or are you looking to migrate data from a PC to Outlook for Mac on your MacBook Pro?

  • How do I automatically sync outlook contacts to iphone contacts? My email and calendar does this but even though in settings I have the contacts ON it does not.

How do I get my outlook contacts to automatically sync to my iphone 5? In settings I have it set up to do so BUT it does not. My email and calendar updates every 1/2 hour but I can't get my contacts to auto update. Please advise.

Start with your finger at the bottom of the screen (about even with the home button) and swipe in an upward motion.  There should be a row of icons at the top of a grey field.  if the quarter-moon icon is bright white, tap it.  If it was (and still is) dark, take the iPhone in to be evaluated by a qualified technician.

  • I cannot sync outlook contacts and calenders

i am using Mac book air and outlook mac 2011..

I am not sure but I think the Outlook "sync" with iTunes only works in one direction - i.e. from your PC to your iPhone - if you are looking to export the contacts the otehr way round  -  from your phone to your PC, you can refer to the following alternative methods to sync iPhone contacts.

  • Sync Outlook 2003 Cal and Contacts

Ok here is the real weird problem. I at one point and time had outlook cal sync to my iphone, and then the next day it stopped working. Now I know that there have been a lot of updates which I have updated to the newest on everything. Itunes and the Iphone itself as well as outlook. Now here is the kicker. I am using Oracle as my back end server for email. There is a connector between outlook and oracle. Now I am using the newest connector and in Itunes it does not show anything to sync to. It used to say outlook. As anyone else run across this. I have it on good word from a guy that works at Oracle that the sync is working for him. Please help!!!

I work for Oracle and we use the Oracle Connector with Outlook 2003. I have Outlook SP3 installed with the 10.1.3.0.8.90921 and it works fine for me with one exception (see below). I'm running the latest version of iTunes and it syncs cal and contacts.
The only issue I'm having is some events not syncing, which after looking at some threads, it appears that there is a limit on the amount of text that can be in the event, so I'm doing an experiment to see if that's the case.
These are events that I've clicked and dragged from email inbox onto calendar icon to create new event and if I CTRL Click to copy that event, the new event doesn't show up either. These events also include HTML in them so not sure if that's the issue or not.
For example, I travel alot so when my travel itinerary is sent to me in email, I simply drag that to the Calender Icon to create a new event. I edit the time and date to reflect my departing flight. Then I simply CTRL Click and Drag to create a copy of this event, open it and edit it and change the subject to include my Hotel, Rental car and return flight information.
This way I can (should be able) open my iPhone calender to see all my travel info, without having to print the itinerary or open my laptop.

  • Sync Outlook contacts and calendar with iTunes between iPhone 4 and Outlook 2010 (32bits) USB only manually, not automatically.

    Hello guys,
After disabeling and enabeling the option automatic sync iPods, iPhones and iPad in iTunes (settings > devices), my iPhone 4 is only syncing manually and not automatically as before the option change.
With manually sync I mean connecting the usb cable and pushing the synchronisation button in iTunes. I reinstalled Outlook (Office 2010 32bit) and iTunes but it did not solve the problem and it's still only manually syncing. I also renewed the Windows Profile. Is there an option I missed in iTunes or Outlook? In Outlook is the iTunes Outlook Addin present and enabled....
How can I solve this problem?
    Thanks, William

Hi, could you specify what you did. It appears that nothing on my iPhone syncs any more. I have an iMac and iPhone 4 running the latest system updates. Thanks!

  • Sync Outlook contacts

i can not sync my contacts because i can not check the box or open the "configure" button on the organizer menue.
this has been a problem for months, i just downloaded the new desktop software hoping the fix would be in there but no such luck ,what to do ???

I have the same problem. But I've tried your recommendation but the wireless synchronization setting is actually set as  "unavailable", and does not let me change it.
I have two emails configured to the device, how can I pick which contact list to synchronize with?
    Any other suggestion?
This syncronization used to work fine but it stop working without any reason. I can synchronize anything but my contacts from Outlook (the mail keeps syncronized automatically wireless).

  • Cannot Sync Outlook Contacts to iPhone 4S from iTunes

I configured a verizon email account in Outlook. Then, when I go to iTunes to sync and upload contacts, a choice for Outlook doesn't appear. Only a choice for Windows Contacts. iTunes apparently doesn't see the new email account configuration. How do I upload Outlook contacts to the iPhone 4 s? Help !!

If it worked at one time this is usually caused by a bad contact record in the contact database. As a start open Contacts in Outlook, using the Phone List view. Open the first contact, then save it. If you get an error this is a bad contact. If this does not find that the first record is bad open iTunes go to Edit/Preferences, then the Syncing tab, and Reset Sync History and try again.
If it still won't sync contacts you can use scanpst.exe to check the PST file. It is usually in C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033. Instructions can be found at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287497
Alternatively, using Outlook, export the PST file as a CSV file, then import it.

  • Not syncing Outlook contacts

I am having trouble syncing my contacts from Outlook.  The log shows that both the device and Outlook contacts are read, but no changes are made.  I know there are changes in the Outlook contact list that do not appear on the device. I don't get any error messages in the log, just says zero changes made. I have rechecked all of the setup criteria.  I only have one contact folder in Outlook.  The calendar syncs successfully.  What am I missing?

I am having the same problem with one blackberry handler in the company, some contacts are missing and not syncing properly .
the following troubleshooting i did until now .
On the BlackBerry smartphone, go to Options > Service Book.
    Click Desktop [SYNC]
Display the menu and select Delete.
    Click Desktop [CICAL]
Display the menu and select Delete.
    Click Desktop [ALP]
Display the menu and select Delete.
From BES click on resend address book
verfiy that feilds in contacts do not have special characters.
    reboot the Device.
    removed cash mode in oulook

  • ITunes 6.0.1.3 not syncing Outlook Contacts or Calendar with ipod Nano 4GB

I have Outlook 2003 installed and setup with a Microsoft Exchange Server. I have about 200 contacts currently stored in it.
I recently purchased a ipod nano 4gb with hopes of syncing my contacts and calendar with that and being able to throw away my old Palm. The ipod nano works great for syncing music but I can't get it to sync either the calendar or contacts from outlook.
I check the box for syncing contacts and choose Microsoft Outlook from the drop down. Then iTunes only gives me the option of syncing all contacts (which is fine with me) and I click Okay. Then I choose update from the ipod nano right click menu. The status bar says updating contacts but does not import any of my contact to my ipod. Also, except for the 1st time, the Permission Window asking for access to Outlook has not popped up again. When it did that first time, I was told that there was an error and itunes could not copy contacts over. Since then there have been no errors from iTunes.
I have tried all the steps in the apple online help docs (unchecking boxes, restarting, re-checking, etc..) but can't find a solution. I don't want to have to manually Save As each calendar item and contact. Frankly, I'd rather just return the device.
    Can anyone help me?
    thanks in advance.

Possible. It is just odd that the day before the update to 9.x.x (I forgot the release), it worked great. Following that upgrade, the sync died. I could reinstall the old release (per instructions from Apple Tech Support) and it would sync. However, not upgrading your iTunes means not upgrading your OS...and that is not an option. However, I think I will have XP reistalled on my machine...and then put a fresh install on iTunes...and see what happens.

  • Trying to sync Outlook contacts to iPhone (mostly business contacts).  Too few fields.  How do I add new ones or is there a good app?

I was a Palm user.  My Palm made portable all contact info, calendar, tasks and notes in very helpful way.  But after I lost my calendar on PalmDesktop twice in one month, decided I needed a different solutio and bought iPhone 4.
Arduous process of transferring different categories/subgroups of contacts to Outlook (yes, I have a PC) and finding that some data just does not map right.  Then tried to sync with iPhone only to find that most of data can't be mapped to the meager number of fields it looks like are available on the iPhone.  Is there a way to add fields?  A good app for this?
Also, need an app for tasks and calendar (no weekly view).
Gee, just about everything a business person would want!

Yes, from Outlook it will only sync Calender, Contacts from you mail accounts. No subfolders and no Task Manager. Maybe there will be changes in the iOS 5.
In the App Store you can search for "task manager". There are some options, but study them carefully before you buy any.
