Sync PC to iphone ok, but need to sync iphone to MBk Pro

I've had an iPhone since day one. Also a new Mac Book Pro owner (first Mac)
I can sync my contacts and calendar from Outlook on my office PC to iphone. No problem. But then I want to sync from my iphone to iCal and Address Book on my Mac Book Pro. No can do using iTunes. BUT, can you sync cal and contacts from iphone to .Mac and then from .Mac to MacBook Pro. Or do I need to purchase MS Entourage (MacOutlook)
I know this sounds convoluted, but my office PC is my base contact station. I can't change that, but I would love to have my contacts available for Mac Mail.

Do you get an error message when syncing on the macbook pro?
Also, have you tried creating another user account on your macbook, opening itunes, address book and ical. Then try syncing your contacts and events from the iphone to the computer?
When syncing information from the iphone to a computer, open address book and ical. Make sure there is at least one contact and one event in address book and ical. This way itunes or sync services will ask if you want to merge the data. Otherwise the data on your iphone could be erased.

Did you choose the wrong back up? There should be a drop box when you go to "Restore from Back up" in iTunes and your iPhone is plugged in, on the Summary page. Choose the correct back up. If you can't find one, and you still have your device, back up your iPhone 4 again and then choose that back up. Or check for an old iCloud back up if you have one.

Restore your library from your most recent backup (you do keep regular backups, I hope). If the hard drive is in any way salvageable it may be possible to mount it in an external enclosure, connect it to your PC, and retrieve data from it even if it is not functioning as a primary OS drive (if you don't have the kit necessary to do this, your local PC repair shop may be able to help). Failing that, you can always recreate your library by re-importing your CDs.

The songs need to be in the playlist(s) that go onto the ipod touch.
Plug the ipod touch into the computer and go to the music section of it from the devices menu. From here make sure that the playlist(s) that go on to this ipod are the ones that have the new songs.
Once this is done, click sync/apply.

My first thought is to make sure that you are actually logged in using the same AppleID on both devices. Many folks share one AppleID for their family's iTunes Store account yet use another personal AppleID to log into iMessage settings and iCloud settings.
To confirm that the AppleID and password you are using is correct I would suggest visiting http://icloud.com and attempting to login there. If you get in, then you know for sure that that is a valid AppleID/password pair.
If that still doesn't reveal the issue then I would try opening Notes app on both iPhones, and then typing your password out where it can be seen clearly. This may reveal if your are typing it differently due to iOS 8 changes in the shift key indicator, or possibly that a screen protector or case is causing your touches to not register the same on both devices.

TS3694 I've tried to sync my iPhone 3GS, but it'll sync a little and then disconnect when almost done; I get error message 1015, and I don't know what to do. Everything else is fine, my iTunes info is up to date, and so is my OS, ect.

I've tried syncing my iPhone 3GS, but it'll stop when the sync is nearly complete, and the sync is interrupted with an error message reading "Error 1015". I've already tried all of the other things suggested by iTunes (ensuring that my OS is up-to-date, disconnecting other USB cables, ect.), yet this problem persists. Help...

New iphone user - help needed with sync and icloud

I have 389 contacts on my iphone 4S,but only 370 are appearing in icloud on my laptop. When I look at "Groups" on my iphone there are two - icloud which contains the 370 that have sync'd ok, and my Apple account name (or e-mail address, they're the same) which contains 379. Presumably the missing 19 are somewhere in this 379, as when both groups are enabled I have the total of 389.
Any suggestions how I can get all my 389 contacts (and future new ones that I add) to sync correctly?

Because there is only 19 I would go to icloud.com and sign in. I would add each one into your contacts that way and delete the duplicates.

I have an Ipad 2 and an Iphone 4s. I can sync musics to the iPad, but not to the iPhone. Am I doing something wrong?

Here's the thing:
I first bought an iPad 2, it works fine with the iTunes. But since i bough my iPhone 4s, i've been able to sync, books, documents and even the apps, but not the musics. It's strange because with the iPad i sync musics all the time, but for some reason my iPhone doesn't sync musics.
Does anyone knows what to do?

When you are directed back to the setup screen, are you able to enter any information at all? If you can, does it let you move on to the next screen? Can you do anything at all? Details, please.
