Sync problem-message AirSAMStateMachine.c 2214

When I attempt to sync my phone with Microsoft Outlook 2003 sp2, Windows XP, Exchange Server 2003, version 6.5, it connects and the word "Receiving" appears for two seconds. The following message appears "There was a problem with syncing. There was a problem syncing messages."
Then I select the Detail button and the following message appears "AirSAMStateMachine.c2214 6 Http/1.1 500 Internal Server Error Date: Thu, 05 Mar 2009 22:50:26 GMT Server: Microsoft-IIS/6.0X-Powered"
Any thoughts? Help please?
Post relates to: Treo 755p (Sprint)

Since the error includes the following:  Internal Server Error - then I would contact the IT administrator. Mostly if you were able to sync before and this just randomly appears then I would give it some time. I would suggest contacting your IT admin anyways to check if anything needs to be done on the treo.

  • 'Source play' and 'audio-video sync' problems with PE8 on fast WIN7 64 bit computer

I am transferring Hi8 videos, about 2 hours long, to my WIN7 64 bit computer with PE8.  [Dell Mobile Precision M4400 Computer Workstation (Intel Core 2 Duo T9900 500GB/4GB); NVIDIA Quadro FX 770M, 512MB] I seem to have several problems:
First, after importing the file (.avi), I get a message about ‘dropped frames.’
Secondly, when I try to play the video in the source monitor, the audio plays but the video doesn’t; it only shows the first frame [this is after waiting until the video is ?recognized? ]   I can use the shift-arrow key and see that the video is there.
Thirdly, I can play the .avi file in other players, e.g., avidemux or PE pro CS5 on another computer.  There, I see that the audio and video are not in sync; the audio can be up to 300 ms ahead of the video (as determined using avidemux).
    Questions:
    1.  Why doesn’t the source monitor play the video? Is this a problem with PE8 (latest update as of 3 March 2011) on aWIN7 64 bit computer (intel duo core. 3 GHz).
    2. Is the audio-video sync problem the result of the ‘dropped frames?’ How can PE8 correct this? Avoid this? Or, is it coincidence?

"I think you're telling me you're using a backwards compatible Digital8  camcorder to capture your video as DV-AVIs. Is that right?" YES
"Are you using  Premiere Elements to do this capturing?" YES, AS ABOVE PE8
"Go to the File menu and select Properties. It should show a standard DV codec being used for your video and audio."
WMP v12 is dumb. Under properties, media, it says 'video.'  However, avidemux gave me the information state above: video -- Codec 4CC: dvsd, frame rate: 29.971 fps; audio -- codec: PCM, channels: Stereo, frequency: 48 kHz.
    So, back to the Questions:

  • Outlook 2003 + iPhone calendar sync problem solved

Here is how I solved my sync problem. Seems a lot of people have the same problem here with Outlook sync suddenly not working after it worked fine for a long time.
I've had Outlook 2003 calendar sync with my iPhone for a few month without any problem, but a few days ago the sync suddenly stopped without any error message. iTunes Diagnostic found no problem and I followed all the steps that Apple outlines to fix the problem but nothing worked (TS2776).
As Apple asked to, I created a new user account on my Windows machine and setup a few test calendar entries to sync with my iPhone. That all worked fine.
So I did what Apple doesn't tell you, and I copied my original Outlook Data file (.PST) over to my new user account and tried to sync that one. Now this didn't work. So I knew the problem lies somewhere in my PST file.
I have then tried to create a new one from scratch in my original Windows account, and copy all the data over. Again, it didn't work. So I emptied the file again, and copied all my calendar entries over to the new PST file in batches (first 10, then another 10, etc).
What I found at the end is that one single calendar entry I created a few days ago caused my sync to stop working. Once I removed this entry, everything worked fine again. Don't ask me what was wrong with it (I made a backup just in case Apple wants to see it), but now everything works again.
If you want to save some time to find which one it is, you may start deleting entries that you created just recently before it stopped working.
    Hope that helps.

Hi im having the same problem. I use outlook 2003 on windows xp and until recently my sync (using usb) was working fine. Now it would seem that calendar items are no longer syncing. can you give any further details of the calendar entry which was causing your problem? im wondering if it was added on a certain date perhaps.
I am running the inbox repair tool to see if my pst file has any problems but would appreciate any other help in the mean time.
    Cheers

  • How can I sync my IPOD Nano 4 to iTunes on my PC? I've already tried the sync button on iTunes and it says it is synced. I've also tried the 5 steps recommended by Apple to fix sync problems with no luck.

How can I sync my ipod nano 4 to iTunes on my PC? I've tried the sync botton on iTunes and the 5 steps recommended by Apple to correct sync problems with no luck.

How is your iPod configured to sync content from your iTunes library? Any error messages during the sync process?
You may want to reset warnings on the device by right->clicking on it under Devices and choosing Reset Warnings.  Then resync the iPod to see if any alerts appear.
Is this the same computer you normally sync the Nano with?

  • ICal Print List Hang / Font Issue / Sync Problems...

Okay, here's a couple issues all wrapped up into one thread/post - reason is cause I suspect they may all be tied together somehow, but am not sure.
    Sync Problems...
Regarding the Syncing problems, you can find an ongoing thread about @ http://forums.markspace.com/viewtopic.php?t=1632
In short, some of us are having issues with events syncing to our Palm to the wrong timezone, causing them to be an hour off (usually within the new & old DST date change). Yes, all the usual fixes have been tried - pls read the thread noting "adairnet" and ymatto" postings.
Also, in addition to this time issue, I have iCal events that I've deleted in iCal still show up on the Palm after one-way syncing!
    Print List Hang...
Every week I print a "list" of events from a certain calendar. The past couple weeks I noticed some lines in the notes field printing on top of each other. Twas odd indeed, but I hadn't had the time to look into the reason. Then this week I was going thru my usual printing proceedure and now iCal locks up, hangs up, crashes, forcing me to force-quit the program. It's usually after I extend the dates beyond 2 or 3 days, but I've not been able to find a consistency. I've redone events thinking they were corrupt with no success.
    Font Problems...
After the Print List issue above, I opened my Console program to see if it was reporting anything. At first it indicated that it could not find Helvetica Neue and would substitute it for Helvetica. This put me in touch with some font corruption - so I got rid of those bad fonts and activated Helvetica Neue which got rid of that message. But made me wonder if there are more font problems causing the print hanging & syncing problems. I have FontAgent Pro and do have some font issues that I'm trying to work out.
But the Console is displaying another string of messages every time the Print List proceedure hangs up which I cannot figure out...
2007-04-24 16:24:54.151 iCal[28975] NSATSGlyphStorage inconsistency. Cannot find run storage for character range {138 67} for CTRun 0xDBE87D0. Ignoring the run...

For apps linked on Tiger this will raise an exception. For earlier apps it will produce this one-time warning and continue with existing behavior (which is undefined).
2007-04-24 16:24:55.176 iCal[28975] * NSThread: ignoring exception '* -[NSMutableStringProxyForMutableAttributedString replaceOccurrencesOfString:withString:options:range:]: Range or index out of bounds' that raised during delayed perform of target 0xdde58d0 and selector 'renderPreview'
So, all of this is causing me to wonder if the iCal or SyncServices database is corrupt. Is there a way to dig into the iCal db and check for corruption &/or fix it?
Or does anybody have any further suggestions on any of these issues?
    thanx.jason.

    RedKamel,
The SyncServices folder should be avoided like "a swarm of bees". This article discusses some of the issues that can arise when the SyncServices folder is deleted or modified:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=301920
Data loss and Data corruption can result from deleting or modifying the SyncServices folder, and that data loss or corruption can be propogated to devices, .Mac, and other applications that sync with SyncServices.
If you have isolated an issue with the other steps in your post, I would recomend speaking with AppleCare before removing that folder.
    Hope this helps,
    Nathan C.

  • Ipod classic 120GB sync problems

Whenever I try to sync my new iPod Classic 120GB with iTunes 8.1, it shows that it is transferring all the tracks, but when it is done, only a handful are transferred to the iPod. No error messages pop up, but when I sync it with an older version of iTunes, it seems to work just fine. The firmware on the iPod is already up-to-date and I've even done a restore, what can possibly be wrong which is causing the sync problems with iTune 8.1?

I have got the same problem, everything up-to-date. iTunes has about 80 gB of music, but synchronisation results in only 30 gB of music on my iPod. Apple's helpdesk first advised to reset the iPod: that meant another 24 hours of downloading, but the final result was even worse than the first time. Then they tried to convince me that my iTunes tracks perhaps were corrupt. But manually I can download every album. Finally they recommended to use manual synchronisation, that in fact means that the automatic sync option is no longer available! I cannot understand that Apple support is not aware of the problem and cannot properly fix it. Also after first contact by telephone there seems to be no possibility to complain by e-mail about the recommended "solution."

  • IPad syncing problem - HELP!

iPad sync problem - HELP!  I keep getting this message "...cannot be synced because there is not enough free space to hold all of the items in the iTunes library (additional ...space needed)"  and yet I seem to have plenty of space on the iPad.  This just started today.  I even tried deleting some things to make even more room, but it didn't help.  Any ideas???

  • Sync Problem with iPod Touch and Apple TV relating to iPhoto

I have recently recovered from a crash and has to restore everything from my time machine.
I have an iPod touch that syncs with my itunes and therefore with my iPhoto.
Same thing with my Apple TV syncing via itunes with my iPhoto.
After the restore. I have this message:" itunes cannot sync photos to the Apple TV because of a problem on your computer. You do not have enough access privileges for this operation.
Previously I got the same message when syncing iPod touch with iPhoto. Then I opened iPhoto package content and remove the iPod Photo cache. that solves my iPod touch sync problem.
How can I sync with Apple TV again?

I believe you need to reset the Sync services data. Assuming your data on the Mac is correct (or correctable), try this:
    1. If it is easy enough to do, clean up iCal. There are AppleScripts and other tools on the Internet to do this.
    2. Save a copy of you calendar. Just in case. (File, Back up iCal...)
    3. Exit iCal.
    4. Start iSync.
    5. Preferences, Reset Sync History. (If it is greyed out, wait a few minutes.)
    6. Quit iSync.
    7. Start iTunes and plug in your iPod.
    8. Select your iPod and go to the Info tab.
    9. Make sure you have the correct Calendars selected. At the bottom, under Advanced, under Replace information on this iPod, select Calendars.
    10. Sync.
    That should do it.
Normally, the fiddling with iSync should clear things up, so you can try just that, and syncing, but since your have a messed up situation, I'd go through all these steps once.

  • Syncing problems won't go away

I have an annoying problem with my new computer. Whenever I want to add songs that I purchased from itunes to my ipod and connect it to my laptop, it requests I choose to erase and sync or to add my ipod songs to my library, either way it's a disaster. And it goes through all of my 700 songs just to add my few purchased ones. Which still doesn't always work. Trying to upload cd songs onto my ipod is a nightmare too.
I am sick of this, I have been dealing with missing music (My library is totally empty) and this syncing problem from the moment I got this laptop.
    PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been trying to syncronize my Ipod with some new music uploaded into itunes and it keeps prompting me with the same message "attempting to copy to the disk "VICTOR JAV" failed. An unknown error occurred (-69).
Is there something else that i need to do? I tried to restore the company settings but its not working either. Could you please provide me with a solution since it is kind of frustrating.
On the other hand, How can i upload movies into my iPod? never been able to do this.

  • Syncing problem - caught in an inescapable loop

I was going through getting podcasts off and on my iphone 5 via my mac with 10.6.8, iTunes 11.8.5 (I think, it scrolls by quickly).
As I was adding some podcasts I got a message that my phone couldn't sync because there wasn't enough memory on it (there's about 2GB, but it wants 4-ish). So, I figure, OK, I'll delete more podcasts from the phone and suddenly my entire list of podcasts is empty (on the list on iTunes that reflects what's on the phone - they are there on the phone and they are there in the list on iTunes that reflects what's on the computer). I spent some time deleting music - which is not reflected in the phone. I deleted some of a particular playlist and that IS reflected on the device list in iTunes. I went through and deleted all the photos on the phone that I didn't want (about 150 of them). Even deleted some podcasts by swiping and hitting delete.
Every time I go back to iTunes to try to then get rid of the stuff I'm trying to delete - in order to make more room - I get, first of all, a different amount of free space listed (sometimes more, sometimes less????) but the same message that it needs more space.
So, obviously, how do I get more space in order to make the sync without being able to sync because there isn't enough space? OR, how can I stop iTunes from trying to put the podcasts that I've asked it to put onto the phone so that there is less stuff to try to put on the phone?
I've turned on and off iTunes, I've unplugged and re-plugged the phone. I've turned off and turned on the phone, I've done a reset on the phone. I've turned off and on the computer. All to no avail.
Anyone have an idea on what to do?
Thank you! I depend on podcasts to keep me sane!!!

OK, never mind. I'm going to put this in in case anyone else gets this problem.
I sync my podcasts in the easy way - I drag and drop from the iTunes "library" to the "device" It's just the easist way.
So, I went back after posting this and clicked on my device and, in the bar across the top clicked "podcasts". I then discovered that if I turn off the blue boxes under the podcasts I have/want on my device it clears space. Ended out needing to clear a lot more space than the "I can't sync you" message told me. But, I've finally gotten it to sync.
Sheesh. I depend on Apple to make things easy. This was a major PIA.

So I think the problem is due to the namespace length. I'm right?
We can't change the consumed webservice to reduce namespace length and our customer ask us to solve it in PI. Is there any way to change the namespace before to be treated and get a correct application error?
    Thanks in advance,

    Hi Neetesh,
we developed our own adapter module. We use it in our receiver soap adapter, module tab, before and after the standard module sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.soapadapter/XISOAPAdapterBean.
In this audit log secuence you can see that the problem seems not to be solved, because the error is triggered when processing response message inside adapter module sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.soapadapter/XISOAPAdapterBean, so our module is not called and the problem remains.

HotSynLog says: there are multi-day repeating records. [i knew that they do not sync, hence i deleted them PRIOR to syncing]
I found the listed records BUT either on dif days and they are "no timed" ones! and NOT multi-days ones.
I deleted them anyway - did a re-sync. With no different result. Still listed - though deleted and now non-existent.
Error code: OLERR: 03-000F (0xaf604005) and others - if this means anything.

    Hello,
I receive email on my device from two addresses: 1) @sprint.blackberry.net and 2) @charter.net.  When I was having problems similar to those you are experiencing, I had these two addresses listed under Default Services - Calendar (CICAl) - Messaging (CMIME).  These addresses were @sprint.blacberry.net and @charter.net. Once I followed the steps previously referenced, only one email address(@sprint.blackberry.net) appeared under the (CICAI) and (CMMIE) default setting.  Reference to @charter.net was removed.  My syncs have worked correctly since then; however, I only two way synce with the device and Outlooks.  I also continue to get emails from both addresses without a problem.
If you don't mind giving up the Yahoo calendar, I would do the same.  If you want to continue using the Yahoo calendar, I'm guessing that it must be selected in the Default Services - Calendar (CICAI) before performing a sync.  Likewise for your @sprint.blackberry.net address; it also must be selected in the Default Services prior to performing a device to Outlook sync.
    I hope this helps.

  • BB Curve 8330 with Vista - Calendar sync problems

For some reason, not all of my calendar items will move from my device to my computer when syncing. The "non-synced" items show as green on my device calendar, as opposed to blue for the ones that have been transferred to my Outlook calendar. Has anyone run into this problem? I don't get an error message when I sync.

To be able to get a good handle on how to proceed, we need some additonal information and each of your individual info may not be the same.  Don't want to confuse who is being advised to do what to resolve problems.
OS version running on the BB
    DM version running on pc
    OS version running on pc
Any error messages received and what you did in response; as well as any changes to pc or BB before your problem began
What is listed as CICAL and CMIME in options-advanced options-default services
How many calendars do you have listed in calendar-menu-options-calendar
    Let us know.
