"Sync Services" try again later---what's that?
I've gotten this message a few times. I had purchased a 32g Touch for my daughter as a graduation from MS present. When I connect it to my laptop, it says it's syncing, then I get an error message saying that it couldn't relay data from "sync service" disconnect and try again later.
Then yesterday, I treated myself to the new 64g Touch and I got the same message! It did sync the stuff I had checked in my iTunes library, but on the left had side it just lists my Touch, but not "Music" "Videos" etc...
THEN---I wanted to put the apps that I purchased on my daughters Touch that are now in my library to MY touch and it wouldn't let me do it. I thought I could just click and drag, but when I get to MY Touch, I get the circle with a line through it and then while I'm still holdong down the button on my mouse, the lines that say "music", "Videos" etc...show up and then disappear.
For now my Touch is working great. But I just have a question as to what the heck is "Sync Services"?
I forgot to add----this is all on my account, any purchases go through my account only, my daughter does not have a seperate account. This way I control the purchases.

trying to download new software for ipad but get the same message coming up which is there was a problem downloading the software the network connection
timed out make sure your network connections is active or try again later. I have tried about 5 times to download this can anyone helpHave you disabled any firewall and security/antivirus programs? This seems to have helped the vast majority of people who have posted the same problem in this forum.

ITunes unable to load data class information from sync services- try again later
I am unable to connect my device to the computer, and this message appears after the device fails to connect.
Try rebooting both the phone and your computer. What version of OS X are you running? Sync Services was deprecated as of OS X 10.7 (it was completely removed from 10.9). It's somewhat unstable in both 10.7 and 10.8. You may want to consider moving your contacts, calendars, etc. to a cloud service.

What's up?Two things to try, first, reset your PRAM.
Next, try rebooting your computer.

Error 1004 and 1013: These errors may be the result of the connection to gs.apple.com being redirected or blocked. Follow these steps to resolve these errors:
Check security software. Ensure that communication to gs.apple.com is allowed. Follow this article for assistance with security software. iTunes for Windows: Troubleshooting security software issues.
Check the hosts file. The restore will fail if there is an active entry to redirect gs.apple.com. Follow iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting to edit the hosts file or revert to default on Windows. See section "Blocked by configuration: (Mac OS X/Windows) > Rebuild network information".
Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.
If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service. -

Hi,
As the Other threads suggests I would check the Date and Time settings on the Mac and compare that with the settings in the router.
Messages (and iChat before that) send Time stamped info to Login and to send IMs.
Obviously most people set their Macs to their Time Zone and nearest city/town.
What people sometimes forget is that their Router/Modem device(s) have to be set correctly as well.

Also Add a Public DNS server to your System Preferences> Network > Advanced Button > DNS tab
A Google one such as 8.8.4.4 or 8.8.8.8 seem to work well for most people

I was un able to install my Adobe suite 5 web premium, but it will not install my updates, (There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later) have done that have unistalled and reinstalled at least 5 times

I would also recommend checking the installation logs for the updates you are attempting to apply for errors. trying to add Itunes match, and am almost at the end of installation when an error message pops up. it says error 4010 cannot connect to ittunes store at this time try again later. what is the problem?

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect to your computer & click on the "Update your device using iTunes".
Tip - You may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update.

If the phone was NOT unlocked, it can't work or be activated with any other carrier than AT&T. It CAN'T be used with Tigo or Movistar.
