Sync songs not working?

Whenever I press the sync song button it does nothing. I want to get the songs from my library onto my ipod. My ipod is connected to my computer and it shows up on the list under devices in Itunes. Also when I go to look at the songs already on my ipod I can't play them and it shows a little lock closed on the bottom. So I guess that means my ipod is locked or something? Anyways I just want it to sync my ipod so I can delete the songs on my ipod currently and replace them with the songs in my library.

My iMatch is turned on and I can direct downlad my music to the iPhone from the Cloud; however, I want to direct import All of my music from iTunes to my iPhone 5 via the connecting USB cable and it is not working. Yes, I have tried restarting both devices, and no autosync is not working nor is is it providing the avaialbile option to select music in iTunes on my Mac to then sync. Please help. Thanks

Please disregard. I figured it out. Answer for anyone else running into this problem: You have to turn off iTunes Match on both devices. Apparently, if you activate iTunes Match it deactivates your abiltiy to direct sync.

well first make sure that when you click on the name of your iphone on the left hand side of itunes that you go to the app and music tab and check mark the sync apps and sync music. then try clicking apply in the bottom right hand corner. then if not try doing it again after going to prefrences in the top menu and going to devices tab and click reset sync history if that doesnt work with music try and drop and drag to the name of your iphone, lastly if that doesnt work you can try restoring from a backup from before you updated. it will keep the new software but put everything that was on your phone when you created the backup back onto your phone.

I've just installed Windows 7 x64 and Firefox 30. I've succesfully logged in with my Sync account but nothing happens. Sync is not working in this device but it does in others. Other devices have also the latest version of Firefox.

Please sign out of Firefox Sync on that device and log in one more time. I understand that you have successfully logged in, but nothing is happening.
If this is not helping, I would recommend creating a new profile and copying the that in the current profile into a new one. [[Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles]]

Sync is not working, even if I force it

I have several PCs set up with a Sync account, but it bothers me to no end that Sync is not working as I feel it should.
Yeah, I know that's a bit of a cop out, but to be honest, Google's sync feature is far better than Firefox's but I can't stand how slow Chrome gets with multiple tabs.
Firefox Sync does fine with my addons, my history, but it absolutely refuses to update any of the bookmarks I make in any specific location.
Example:
I accidentally deleted a favorite from a folder on my favorites tool bar. I re-added it and it shows up at home, but on my work PC, that same folder is STILL missing that bookmark 2 days later, and after several forced sync sessions.
Why can't something like this work on demand? Why do I have to fight with it like this? Why does everything else work fine with sync, but this one problem?
And it's global - every PC that is set up on Sync is still showing the bookmark as removed, but re-added it does nothing.
Resetting Sync also does nothing for me - if I make changes by adding more bookmarks to any system, they take forever (I have no idea as to the real time window) to show up.

Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it! It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

If the calendar is connected to a server account, like Exchange, you cannot sync via iTunes. You need to connect to the server on your MacBook.
If it is not connected to a server account then you need to ensure syncing is set up in iTunes. This is in the Info tab for your selected phone in iTunes.

LDAP Sync is not working on custom attributes

I have installed and configured OIM 11g release 2. While configuring OIM, i have enabled ldapsync to OID.
Created a custom attribute in OID and also on OIM. But when I change this attribute in OIM, that change is not going to OID and vice versa. There are not errors in the logs.
Please throw some light on this.

While creating a custom attribute in oim, you will give label, name right..At the same time there will be an option to provide ldap attribute name. You need to provide the name of the attribute that you created in OID here. Then only ldap sync will work on custom attributes. without specifying ldap attribute name, ldap sync wiill not work.
Give a try and post your results here.

Firefox 5.0.1 Sync is not working even after info replaced and device added again.

No errors were displayed so I followed guidance in articles "Firefox Sync is not working" (Uninstalled Sync add-on, updated Firefox on all devices, and Replaced Sync data) and "Replace your Sync information" which worked to get identical bookmarks on desktop and laptop. I used the desktop data as the sync data and added the laptop as a device. But when I change bookmarks on the laptop the changes do not sync with the desktop. I don't know what else to do.

In my frustration I decided to try XMarks, which is accomplishing my needs, but I'm concerned with this as a long-term solution because it was recently purchased by the "Last Pass" company, which disabled password sync. This is not a huge deal for me because I use 1Password, but I'm worried about XMarks somehow becoming incompatible with 1Password as the Last Pass company moves forward with encouraging people to use their password software instead. Since it is working now I'm hesitant to mess with it anymore. Does that sound reasonable or should I trash the XMarks add-on and reconfigure Firefox sync and make sure I click the Tools->Sync Now drop down to give Firefox sync another try? Pros/Cons?

Versamail Auto-sync feature not working with AOL mail w/Treo 700p (Verizon)

I'm having a problem with the Auto-sync feature not working with my 700p (verizon) with my aol mail. It had worked perfect since May 2007. Just started having problems End of April 2008. Sounded like I needed another incoming mail server from aol other than: imap.aol.com, aol told me they also use pop.aol.com, that isn't working either. I get an error message that says "last auto-sync attempt failed."....Anyone else having this issue? I'm trying to decide whether to get rid of my aol mail of 14 yrs and use other address to continue using versamail 3.5 or keep aol and use Verizon Wireless sync. I do not like how wireless sync sends mail to outbox and then syncs vs sending right away. Please help...

I am having the EXACT same problem: Palm 700p, Versamail, AOL, Verizon.
It started about 1 month ago. The GET still works, but AUTO-SYNC does not...After spending hours on the phone with Palm tech support, and reaching someone who said AOL had changed something in their servers. They suggested TRYING Chatteremail, another Palm product. I have tried it for 20+ days out of the 30 days you get for free. It works pretty well, but NOT every e-mail that goes to my AOL acct is making it to my phone. The thing that's great about Chatter is that can be "live" all of time. Not auto-syncing every 15 minutes.
It's very frustrating....The same way the Versamail just stopping auto-syncing is very frustrating. With Versamail, sometimes I did not even get the error message. If Chatteremail worked consistently, I would bite the bullet, and pay for it, but to pay for it, and have it not pull down all the e-mails, all the time is not good.
I spoke to Palm Tech Support in N. America today, and they say the way AOL uses IMAP servers is in a non-traditional way, and it's very hard to deal with. They suggest ditching AOL, and using something reliable for syncing purposes like GMAIL. It's just hard to cut the cord. The man I was on the phone with knew of my problem, and he solved it by getting rid of AOL. It's just tough, since so many people have the e-mail address for me.

there seems to be some indication when you click on Smart Phones on left, that Coming Soon is Palm, but I don't know if that's going to be downloadable for 700p, or Palms moving forward. Or how far away that is.
I tried wireless sync and hated it.

I had the same problem. It fixed itself when I opened Internet Explorer (I don't normally use it). I was opening Support Portal to get some support help, but I'm not sure if it was the page or simply opening IE that did the trick.

Sync did not work on new computer and original computer is broken.

I always synced Firefox on my original computer, clicking it once a day on the little menu on the top right, on the sync buttton with my e-mail beside it. I had all options checked (passwords, history, bookmarks, etc). Then, my computer broke, and it is a hard drive problem so it will come back completely erased.
Now, I accessed another computer on Firefox and Sync did not work at all. None of my information was saved, even when I click on Sync.
Both computers are Macs, one running on 10.6.8 and the other (broken) ran on Yosemite. Both had Firefox on the New Sync.

This game was designed for Windows 95. Many older games wont run under the NT kernel (under XP and Vista) unless you use emulation such as DOSBox.
You could try setting the game to run in Windows 98 compatibility mode (Right click the games EXE file, choose Properties -> Compatibility Tab).
Otherwise you may need to install Win95/98, and possibly use an older Video Card since the display drivers change so rapidly and drop legacy features not used anymore.
