Sync. to 2 Oulook via USB (not using Enterprise)

Hello,
does Somebody know if i can synchr. 2 Outlook (@Work & @Home) with one Blackberry or do i mess it up? At the moment i only synchr. with my Outlook @work, but need to synchr. also to my Outlook @Home. Im not Using the Enterprise Solution and no E-Mail is synchr. only Calender and Contacts.
I only found one thread at it didnt help to answer my question.
Thx.
Kere

Yes, you can do that. I do it all the time, although I have chosen to not sync my calendar at home (I don't want my work appointments on my home calendar - all that does is clutter it up and have seven reminders when I log on at home).

can't sync itunes with iphone via USB, windows 8.1 system

Right click on your device under Portable devices and click on Uninstall and when the uninstaller box pop ups select delete the driver and click OK. Now click on Scan for hardware changes on top of the page and see if you get apple mobile device support driver under USB Devices and if not then disconnect your device from the computer and try to connect it to a different USB port and check also open control panel and select Apple Mobile Device  Support from the List and Click on Repair and check. If still the device is not showing under USB then uninstall the following services from your computer.
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if unable to uninstall ignore and move to next)
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
Restart your computer once after the uninstallation is completed and then download latest version of iTunes from http://WWW.apple.com/iTunes/download
Locate the iTunes setup file and right click the file and run the installation file as Administrator and let the installation complete.
Then check if your device gets deteced in iTunes and if still the device is not detecting in itunes then go to device manager and see under Usb if you can see Apple Mobile Device Support Driver and continue with the step. 5 of above given link in my previous post. And if still thedevice is not showing under USB then right click on your device under potable device and click update driver and first check for updates automatically and see under USB if you see the driver now and if not then go back to device under portable device select update driver, let me choose driver from the list, Have disk, browse file in the following location " C://Program Files/Common Files/Apple/Mobile Device Support/Drivers and select usbaapl file and install the same (if you can't find the driver on above location then look for the driver in Program Files(x86) instead of Program files and if you can't find usbaapl then look for usbaapl64 and complete the installation and then restart the computer and check if your device get recognized in iTunes.
Note: when installing the drivers keep the iTunes closed till the drivers installation is completed.

  • Hello, may I change data between iPad Air and other devices by cable connection (USB), (not using cloud) ?

Hello, may I change data between iPad Air and other devices by cable connection (USB), (not using cloud) ?

Do you mean you want to sync or transfer data using a cable? Between and iPad Air and what "other device"?

  • Sync via usb not cloud

I have a 1st gen touch and while using the cloud I would also like to sync via USB, is this still possible?

The 1G iPod does not support iCloud and you can only sync via USB. You can't sync via wifi or backup to the iCloud.
The 1G can only sync by USB. Just connect the iPod to yur syncing computer and sync. The syncing computer is the computer on which you set the iPod on.

  • Contacts created on iPhone won't sync with exchange, only via USB

When I create a new contact on my iPhone from within the phone app, it doesn't get synced to my exchange server, in fact it doesn't show up anywhere in the contacts app or under contacts in the phone app. If I create a new contact from the contacts app it only allows me to create it in my exchange contacts folder but it does sync properly. When I create a contact from within the phone app I am not given a choice of group at all and unless I have a recent call from that contact, it is nowhere to be found on my phone or computer. So the question is how do I get new contacts created on my phone from within the phone app to sync with exchange? The only way I have been able to sync contacts created within the phone app thus far has been with iTunes via USB which works fine but I want to sync contacts bidirectionally via exchange ota.
    Thanks for any help

I have more information to share.
When you launch the Contacts app on the iPhone, hit the "Groups" button in the top left. What I see on that page are these 3 sections:
    All Contacts >
    From My Mac
    All From My Mac >
    Group A >
    Group B >
    Group C >
    etc
    Foobar (Exchange)
    Foobar Global Address List >
After many hours of trial and error, I have come to the understanding that the iPhone Contacts app has potentially multiple data stores which seem to correspond to each sync source configured (eg AddressBook, Exchange, etc.) Refering to my example above, I have enabled Contacts syncing with my AddressBook (via iTunes) and an Exchange mail account, so my iPhone shows 2 separate sections with the generic "All Contacts" appearing as the first section at the top.
Entering the contact listings page via the "All Contacts" button will show an integrated list of contacts from all sync sources (in my case, two: contacts from AddressBook on my Mac and contacts from my Foobar Exchange account).
If you click the "+" button to add a new contact when you have entered the listing page via "All Contacts", it seems the record is only stored on the iPhone and does NOT get sync'd. Specifically, it does not get synced to the Mac AddressBook nor to the Exchange account.
However, if you have entered the listings page via any group in the "From My Mac" section or "Foobar (Exchange)" section, and create a new contact via the "+" button there, that contact DOES get sync'd to the appropriate sync source (AddressBook or Exchange in my case).
Furthermore, if you enter the listings page via a specific group in the "From My Mac" section (eg "Group A") and create a new contact from in there, it will appear in "Group A" in AddressBook after sync. If you enter the listings page via the generic "All From My Mac" button, then the new contact will be added to whatever group you have specified in iTunes (under the iPhone Info tab etc. as mentioned in the prior post).
All up, I guess, there may not be a bug here after all. I must simply always remember to add new contacts when I am in the "All From My Mac" section, if I want them to be synced to my Mac.
However, I do think that it's a confusing and poor user experience (and may lead to loss of data) if you add new contacts from the generic "All Contacts" entry point, because they will NOT be synced as you'd expect them to. I am guessing this also might only happen when you have multiple sync sources defined, simply because the app doesn't know which sync source to associate them with: AddressBook or Exchange? But, at the point of adding that new contact, the app should prompt you for the sync source to use, or at least WARN you that your contact is going to be an orphan record solely residing forever more on your iPhone. If you ever reset your iPhone those contact records would be lost forever.

  • Scanner/Camera via USB not recognized under 10.8

    Hi there,
after installing 10.8 on my 2011 iMac, neither my Lexmark Scanner nor my Camera are recognized via the USB-port by Image capture or iPhoto respectively; no matter if connected via USB-hub or directly to the iMac.
Odd enough, sending faxes or printing with the Lexmark works perfectly allright over the very same USB-connection, as well as p.e. dongles are recognized.
Needless to mention, with 10.7.4 everything went just fine; I updated the Lexmark drivers, I repaired permissions after the first install of 10.8 and even did a second install in the meantime - same prob!
    Any ideas???
THANKS and a wonderful weekend for You all...

So, as there was no help anywhere, neither from the guys at Lexmark nor here, I knew no better than to downgrade again to 10.7.4 (using TimeMachine) and: immediately the prob was solved, the scanner as well as the camera work just fine... odd thing, all the more as I seem to be the only one having this strange USB-bug...

  • MiniDV camcorder via USB not recognized in iMovie

I have the camcorder plugged in (power), and connected to the 24" iMac via USB, but iMovie or Mac can't see it. Any suggestions??

The only way to access the "Tape" content from a MiniDV camcorder is thru the "Firewire" port.
The USB is only used for pictures stored in the Memory card.

  • Send mails via Lotus Notes using VFP

    Hi all,
I have an VFP application which is allowing send emails from Lotus Notes. Currently it sends mails from the default account in Lotus notes. But now there is a requirement as follows.
An email address can be defined from our application. Say
[email protected] Lotus notes has been configured with two mail accounts such as
[email protected] and [email protected] and the default email is
[email protected] Now we have to send emails from our application with
[email protected] email address. Not the default email address.
To do this we have to read all email accounts configured in Lotus Notes using VFP. And look for the email address
[email protected] and mail should be sent with that account. Can anybody guide me how to do this using VFP? Thanks.
    Best Regards,

This is actually a Notes question. You need to find out whether the Notes automation server provides what you need and how to do it.

  • HT4061 How do I restore my iphone 4? Whilst updating to new software my computer crashed. This has left me with a phone that won't respond at all and itunes says 'restore your phone'. I can't press anything without getting a picture of a usb. not useful.

My computer crashed while updating my iphone 4.
My phone now will not respond other than a USB symbol to itunes.
When I plug into itunes it says 'reset your phone'.
I've tried holding the on/off and home button together, nothing.
On another note, it isn't possible to schedule into a shop in London until a week today. There is something seriously wrong with this picture.
    Any help would be awesome.
    Thanks

    1) ensure iTunes is authorized for your iTunes store account(s)
    2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
    3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPhone but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPhone with it.
above works for purchases from the iTunes store. for everything else, check out this post by Zevoneer.

  • Printer Frustrations - Prints via USB, not via Network

    Hi all,
I read an article about how to print via SAMBA to a Windows printer - fantastic! Everything is set up correctly with one exception ... there isn't an exact match for my printer in OS X's driver selection.
So I downloaded and installed the drivers (it's a Canon CX5000) - I can print to the printer via a direct USB ... no problem.
So now I have to Printers installed, one is the SAMBA version, the other the Direct USB version.
In the Direct USB version, if I look at the Printer Setup, I see that the EXACT model number is selected in the drop down menu (albiet greyed out).
In the SAMBA version, I cannot locate this - and thus, the printer prints ... but it's all garbled. How can I find out what file the Direct USB version is using?
    Thanks!

I have installed CUPS drivers, and even then, I don't find a driver the exactly matches my printer.
There is a driver on my Mac that matches my printer exactly (see my post above) ... I just don't know how to access it while using SAMBA for Windows Printers.

  • IPhone tethering via USB not working

    Hi,
Since last week my iMac can't recognize my iPhone in Network Preferences, when I plug my iPhone in my macbook the problem is gone, so I tried to reset  Network Preferences in iMac and nothing changed I also tried coping Network Preferences from my macbook -since tethering is working fine there- and nothing changed.
So if anyone have any clue how to solve my problem I will be grateful.
    Thank you.

    Try This :
Copy /System/Library/Extensions/AppleUSBEthernetHost.kext to a backup folder (Desktop) and delete the original
Re-download the latest version of iTunes (http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/)
Install iTunes, this will update your "AppleUSBEthernetHost.kext" file.
    Disconnect USB-connection to iPhone
    Re-connect iPhone via USB

  • I can no longer sync my calendar via USB after updating to Mavericks.

Updated to Mavericks, set up iCloud but itunes (11.1.5) will no longer sync calendars with my iphone.
Worked fine under osx10.8 before the update.
I phone is an old 3g running ios 3.1 (yeah, I know it's old) so I realize that wifi syncing will no longer work.
I would like to be able to sync my calendar via USB. Otherwise, sycing music etc via cable still works fine.
Please don't just suggest that I buy a new phone. I will soon. But in the meantime I would like to solve this problem as it has caused me trouble with missed meetings and conflicting timetables.

Yes, there are many posts on it. It is no longer possible in Mavericks to locally sync Calanders and Contacts via USB. Nut there are plenty of alternatives beside iCloud.
    Here are some solutions.

    Here is another

    Here is yet another
If your Mavericks came with anything other than Mavericks pre-installed
OS X Mavericks: Revert to a previous OS X version
Also there are a host of other Cloud services you can use. You do not have to use iCloud at all. Although there ARE over 320+ million iCloud accounts presently active, so it is extremely popular with users.
