Sync windows live email account with other devices?

Can i sync my windows live email so that if for example i delete an email on my iphone it deletes on my imac and ipad too?

I was thinking that probably the mail wouldn't sync because it is a POP account I think with a live.com account (or at least mine is). I was just trying to determine whether or not I should go through the hassle of changing to an Apple email. It is very annoying to delete junk/read email on iphone only to have it still there on imac/ipad etc. However it is also a hassle to change email address...however it seems that as my live email is not IMAC it might be only answer.

Cannot Sync Windows Live Email on E71

When I go to the Windows Live icon in Messaging, then select Options>SyncEmail - my E71 tries to connect, then times out. If I go to Settings>Email and select Windows Live I get 'Feature Not Supported'.
Q: How do I configure Windows Live?
Connectivity for all other Messaging accounts is fine.
The Messenger functionality of Windows Live is fine - my Hotmail address is entered and can chat no problem.

Ok I fixed it.
In Messenger, I signed out, then did Switch Account. Then re-entered my hotmail address, and the next step is given the option to Sync Email at same time as setting up Messenger. I selected it. After completing Messenger set-up, when I go back to Messaging>Windows Live then it has now sync'ed ok.

How to fully sync my Earthlink email account with my Mac's Mail?

I do get the new Earthlink emails in the Mac Mail Inbox, but I would also like every action on the Earthlink, respectively Mac Mail account, to be reflected on the other. I.e. every deletion, send, etc.
As is the case between my Outlook server and client.
Is this posible, and if so how?

Not possible with an Earthlink account since an Earthlink account can be accessed as a POP account only.
This is possible with an IMAP or Exchange account.

This is available under the Advanced tab for the account preferences with the Mail app. The only way to put messages removed from the server after being downloaded by an email client is to send/forward the messages to yourself. Welcome to the limitations with a POP account, which orignated from the early dark ages of email account access with an email client on a computer.

By account do you mean a store account, a computer account, or an iTunes library?
If you mean consolidating store accounts you cannot. Stop using one of the two accounts. Make sure you have good backups of all your media so you don't have to frequently reauthorize the computer to redownload misplaced media.

Syncing aol email accounts with mail?

I'm new to Mac, and I love my macbook but I can't figure out how to set up my aol email accounts using imail. Is that possible? I have two aol email accounts and I've been going on aol.com to check my messages but lately it hasn't been loading so I don't know what to do!

Yes, AOL accounts must be set up as IMAP in Mail, but AOL has a lot of idiosyncrasies and some really nasty “features” that normal IMAP accounts don’t have and that you should be aware of.
To more easily set up your AOL account in Mail, you may use AOL Service Assistant, which also provides assistance for using other AOL services in Mac OS X.
Instructions for setting up an AOL account in standard mail clients such as Mail should be available somewhere on AOL’s website, and can also be found here:

These instructions are for Mail 1.3, and are somewhat outdated, but they can be used for Mail 2.x as well noting that the Special Mailboxes preference pane is called Mailbox Behaviors in Mail 2.x, and I believe you can now enable SSL for both the incoming (Preferences > Accounts > Advanced) and the outgoing mail server if you wish.
Instead of the settings shown in the article for Trash, you may want to turn ON Move deleted messages to the Trash, but in that case you should turn OFF Store deleted messages on the server.
AOL doesn’t let IMAP clients such as Mail to create or manage mailboxes at the root level of the account directory, only as subfolders of Saved — that’s why you must turn OFF Store messages on the server for all the mailboxes in Preferences > Accounts > Mailbox Behaviors, so that they are stored locally instead.
You may also want to read the more general guide the above article is part of (which is also somewhat outdated, but still useful to understand how AOL’s IMAP access works):

Note in particular that AOL automatically purges your mail from Inbox after some time. There is nothing you can do about it other than moving/copying your messages somewhere else to avoid losing them. You can create custom local “On My Mac” mailboxes in Mail, for example, and move/copy your mail there manually or set up rules to do it automatically.

Windows Live email on iCloud?

I have a windows live email account and i just started using icloud. Is it possible to import my windows live account into my icloud email account, so that i can veiw and compose messages on my Windows live account while i am in iCloud

Not possible. No yahoo/google/hotmail whatsoever.
You can use iTunes to sync these accounts locally , but not with icloud.

Windows Live Email

For the past couple weeks my 2 Windows Live Email accounts have been acting weird. It takes 20 minutes for the emails to push to my BB Tour (Sprint) and when read on my Tour, they are still unread through the web interface. It is the same with deleting from my Tour. Does anyonw have any ideas on why this is happening or a way to fix it? I have deleted and re added the accounts, as well as deleted the service books, but no fix. Also, the email icon on the BB use to show the envelope and a small Windows Live icon, no it just looks like the normal default icon (envelope with a globe). Any help is appreciated!
P.S. All my gmail and yahoo accounts are working fine. And using .419 OS

Currently the Windows Live email account is not setup on your BlackBerry Internet Service.
The wireless read/unread feature will not be available since the live account was setup as POP3.

Also Sprint does not offer the Microsoft Mobile Service Protocol.

You need OSX 10.7.2 or higher in order to access icloud. The mobile me account is now defunct (it closed down more than a year ago).

You will need to find a third party solution for online storage in order to share things like photos with others. Some popular solutions to this are dropbox and sugarsync.
You cannot sync non-iCloud email accounts across your iOS devices and computers unless they are IMAP accounts like iCloud. If they are IMAP accounts, you will do it in the same way as you have always done.

MacBook Pro won't sync with other devices

My MacBook pro won't sync with other devices in the house. My iPad and iPhone sync OK but MacBook won't for some reason. Can you help?

Sign into your account in iTunes - from that page you should be able to deauthorise ALL 5 authorised computers - supposedly you can do this once a year.
Thereafter any devices you no longer have will be deauthorised, and you can reauthorise those you still have or are new.
