Sync with Microsoft Outlook

I recently updated to the new software version for my 8330 curve. Prior to updating I have had no problems syncing with Outlook. Since the update I am getting an error when the sync process tries to sync my Tasks. I do not sync both ways but rather sync from my BB to Outlook. I get an error window that says there is a "connector specific error" and when I view the log in Desktop Manager, at the end of the log it lists the following error message "Internal Error #4238 Translation Canceled!" Everything syncs fine except for my Tasks. I can uncheck the Tasks sync function and it works fine. PLEASE HELP!!!

try resetting sync settings and restting back up sync settings and try again

Is there an App that will sync with microsoft outlook calender?

OK here is a problem I have with my calender- all the events are added mutible times for each event- at least 4 of each. So how do I get all of these mutiable events down to just one event. Now this also includes hollidays and personel events  on the calender from outlook. All this I think happened after sync to Cloud- not sure, could have happened after OS 5 update!!! Now this is on my iPhone 4. Now going to my calender on my home computer in outlook no events or holidays are showing in the outlook my calender. If I go to the icloud calender it has mutiable events and holidays like on my iPhone. Now how do I fix this without causing a problem with my other programs?

  • Putting pressure on BB/Rim to reintroduce USB syncing with Microsoft Outlook

Is there some way that we can put pressure on BB/Rim to reintroduce USB syncing with Microsoft Outlook? I work in a world where over-the-air or cloud services are unacceptable because of the security risks, either real or perceived. I know there are many other people like me. I can't believe that, after having made such monumentally stupid and high-profile mistakes in the past, BB/Rim has now decided to alienate so many loyal BB customers by dispensing with such a simple transfer mechanism. The Z10 is a beautiful machine but the lack of synchronicity is getting in the way of my doing business. Judging by some of the posts I've seen, there are quite a lot of others who feel the same way. Assuming that BB/Rim executives were not  drunk, stoned or brainstem dead when they came up with this stupid plan to do away with USB syncing, is there any action we can take to make BB/Rim aware of the rapidly escalating damage they are doing to their own brand? After all, if the Z10 fails, it's difficult to see what long-term future there will be for the company anyway, so you would think that BB/Rim wouldn't want to chuck their future away, would you?

The best way is to call O2 and ask for this issue to be escalated to BlackBerry Tech Support, they need to hear from the carriers as well.
I'd also drop a line to BlackBerry at www.blackberry.com/contact

  • Curve won't sync with Microsoft Outlook anymore

All of the sudden today, my phone won't sync with Outlook.  It starts to sync and a box pops up that says "Blackberry Desktop Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close".  It is stopping in the sync during the calander and it keeps stopping at "record 95 of 2403 records".  Then a box pops up asking if I want to send the error to Microsoft, which I did.  When I went to their link they said the problem is with RIM.
Any suggestions for me are very much appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Amy

  • New user here. Can I sync with Microsoft Outlook?

Brand new Driod X user here. Is there a way to set up my Droid X to sync with my Microsoft outlook contacts? While the Contact list on the Droid is nice and all when they converted over all my contacts from my Treo it messed up many of them and now I have to re-enter a lot of information and it would be easier to do that if i had my address book on outlook synced with the Droid.

  • Ipod Nano (3rd gen) not syncing with Microsoft Outlook 2007

I previously upgraded computers and now I can't sync my ipod with my outlook calendar. I upgraded to 2007. Any ideas? I'd greatly appreciate any thoughts or help. Thanks.

iTunes 11 won't even recognize my 1st and 3rd gen nanos. They've just rendered all the devices I love useless.
You can send feedback on the upgrade here:  http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html. I'm hoping enough legacy iPod users will speak up that they'll rethink and/or fix it.

  • Syncing with Microsoft outlook 2010

What do I need to download off itunes to syncPC, iphone, & ipad?

In iPhone Contacts click on the Groups button on top right corner. You will see all the contact groups your iPhone has. You may find a group named Outlook Contacts and other groups like suggested Contacts etc. Best option is to select All Contacts Group.
Also check from iTunes which Contact group it is configured to Sync.

  • ICloud Sync with Microsoft Outlook is no longer working.

The icon in the upper right corner of the home tab in Contacts says Wrong Password. It was working fine until recently. How do I correct this? Where do you set the Apple ID password in Outlook?

where you able to get this sorted?

  • How can I sync my Microsoft Outlook tasks with my Ipad reminders? I dont want to use Icloud or an exchange

How can I sync my Microsoft Outlook tasks with my Ipad reminders? I dont want to use Icloud or an exchange

Plug it into your computer. Tell it to sync with "this computer" instead of iCloud. You shouldn't have to remove any apps. Otherwise, you can save the app data by using i-FunBox ( http://www.i-funbox.com/ ) just go to the "devices" tab and select 'user applications' and select all of your apps and tell iFunBox to "copy to pc" you're done! You have them all backed up.

  • Anyone having issues syncing iPhone with Microsoft Outlook 2007?  iTunes says it is syncing but it will not update calendar or contacts.  It just stopped working a few weeks ago.

Anyone having issues syncing iPhone 3GS with Microsoft Outlook 2007?  iTunes says it is syncing but it will not update calendar or contacts.  It just stopped working a few weeks ago.

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only person struggling with exact issue.  I've rebooted, upgraded, re-installed, pulled all my hair out as nothing works.
The biggest dissapointment with this thread is that nobody seems to have responded with a solution.
And yes I've managed to pull together enough intellegence to tick the box "sync to outlook" in iTunes - still nothing man.
Definately does not sync from phone to PC and is very hit and miss on PC to Phone.  In other words now running 2 seperate calendars - Not helpful Jan.

  • Can't sync Vision:M 60 gb player with Microsoft Outlook Expr

I bought a Vision:M 60 gb player yesterday and when I try to sync my player with Microsoft Outlook Express (Contacts), it gets 93% done and I get the following:
    Runtime Error!
    Program: C:\Program Files\Creative\SyncManagerUnicode\CTSyncU.exe
    abnormal program termination
Can anyone help me with this problem?

Mine crashed due to a corrupt contact. I ended up creating a new contacts folder moving my contacts into it.
Then synced with my empty contacts folder. (Which worked)? Then I moved my contacts back 0 or so at a time to the original folder untill I found the one that was corrupted.

  • I am syncing my iPhone with microsoft outlook.

I am syncing my iPhone with microsoft outlook 2003.  Prior to my last sync my wife sync'd her iPad.  When I sync'd my iPhone my notes where removed
and my wifes notes were copied.  Where can I find a copy of the notes that were removed??  I have a PC.
    Thank-you,

It's probably the fact that you have iTunes set to sync calendars as well as having iCloud sync them.  Turn off calendar syncing in iTunes.
