Sync with web version. Major bug!

Get the alert that changes have been made to the web version.
No changes were made (to my knowledge) as I haven't set up IBE with this site.
I figure muse is trying to therefore sync my comp version with the web version. This I don't want because the web version is not up to date.
However I'm curious to see what changes were made so I try the review process and it zips right thru and merges my comp version with the older version on the web.
Ugh, just what you don't want with a site that's created like a finely balanced deck of cards.
So now I'm left with an old .muse file that doesn't match the current exported html files, etc.
Would be great if muse could open html files, but we know it can't so I guess I've lost a couple of weeks hard work.
I've seen the posts about invalid html breaking the sync process. I do have a number of embedded js files and a quite a few widgets, the later being all muse (including add-ons).
The point is no IBE was set up for this site so I shouldn't have gotten the message to begin with.
Correct?
Any help would be appreciated.
Downloading the MuseLogPrefs.xml provided in previous threads only results in the same botched skipping of the the review process
and continues the unwanted sync.

Never mind, I think. I think I figured it out. There was 1 song (out of > 900!) that somehow had been purchased with the other ID - I have no idea how. Once I deleted that song, it stopped asking.
There may be something with the newest iTunes version too. I didn't think in older versions that the "On this iPod" list of songs was greyed out. But at least it syncs ok.

Iphone synced with different version - purchases will be erased?

I have had problems with itunes which resulted in having to relocate the program to a different directory on the same PC (vista).
Now when I plug in my iphone it says it is synced with another version of itunes and therefore if I sync music (for example) everything will be erased from the iphone.
Does this mean I will lose purchases of songs made directly to the iphone before syncing (and also purchased apps)?
If so, does anyone know how to avoid losing everything...?

Use the Transfer Purchases command in iTunes prior to syncing.

Version number for GPO's not in sync with the version number for GPO's on the Baseline domain controller

I accidentally removed one of our domain controller's hyper-v image (DC-02) from the hyper-v manager and to bring it back online launched a new virtual machine using the same virtual hard drive. This brought back the domain controller machine and I set the
original IP address to the same assuming that everything would just working fine.
Sadly, that wasn't the case as when I tried to open the group policy manager on that machine I started getting "Access is denied" error. I was then presented with an option to open the group policy manager with the first available DC which I did
and was able to open it with showing the same machine as the baseline domain controller under the status tab (DC-01 is actually the baseline DC). I then clicked Detect now and noticed it was showing 1 DC under replication in progress with problems in GPO version.
I then did the same thing on the primary DC (DC-01) and even there it was showing this only (images attached).
So I started exploring over the internet going through various articles but couldn't find a solution which I could apply without worrying about corrupting something somewhere. I also went to the SYSVOL folder on both the DC's to check the version number
in GPT.ini files which are mentioned below:

Apologies for responding late. I followed through all the points mentioned by Frank and even did a non-authoritative restore synchronization but still no luck.

Syncing with web gallery

Hey,
I was wondering if there is anyway to turn off syncing. I want to delete an "event", but i want to keep the album on my web gallery (.mac). If i delete my "Event" will it also delete my album on .mac ???
Is it possible to transfer photo albums to another mac and have the web gallery sync with my other mac? Or do I need to delete everything, and re-upload everything?

Back Up and try try rebuilding the database. Hold down the apple and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.

Video plays out of sync with Flash version 11.6.602.180 in Firefox

I've been receiving multiple reports that some videos plays out of sync with Vimeo's Flash player in Firefox, but not in other browsers (with the same version of Flash installed). Disabling/enabling hardware accelerated decoding does not seem to make a difference. Any ideas as to what might be causing this issue?

This could be multiple issues, but the first thing that comes to mind is the protected mode feature in Flash Player for Firefox. We've made significant improvements in our 11.7 beta and I'd recommend giving this a try:

If that doesn't help, or you can't update to the beta version, try the steps outlined in this post:

In particular, I'd recommend temporarily disabling protected mode (for troubleshooting purposes only) to see if that addresses the issue.

Iphone 4 does not syncing with latest version of itunes

My iphone 4 was syncing really great for several weeks on my windows XP computer. Suddenly it was not possible syncing anymore. Probably I used my iphone 4 while syncing. Now when I push the USB cabel into my computer the computer crashes and starts up in the 'save mode'. Even after re-installation of the newest version of itunes there is no live between the iphone 4 and my computer. When I try to sync itunes starts up for only 1 second, and then the computer starts up again. In stead of the text: 'iphone fond on your computer' (when pushing USB cabel into computer) I can see the text: Digital Still Camera. So probably the computer recognises only the camera from the iphone????

Dear all,
Today I tried my iphone on an other window XP computer (a computer where no itunes was installed in de past). And I made another account for itunes on that computer after installing itunes. The connection was perfect and my iphone could syncing with itunes, no problemes at all. After that I tried my iphone on my own computer with the new account for itunes, but there was the same crash and restart as in the past (problems in sector one of the harddisk?). Now I'm sure for 100% that there is a computer problem and not an iphone problem, caused by interrupting the syncing procedure by myself through using the iphone. I hope the problem can be solved in the near future, cause I can imagine that I'm not the only one who tried to do this.

Gray ! on 100 records when I sync with new version of iTunes 10.2.1.1

I have a Ipod classic 30g. I have 4079 songs in my iTunes. I am using Windows 7 on an ACER Extensa. I have my music on an external hard drive. The same place it has always been. Since I upgraded to the new version of iTunes when I sync my Ipod it randomly marks 100 records with the gray circle with a ! in it. Showing that it is not connected. I check the songs are still on the drive in the same location. I go into the control panel of my computer use the repair function and all the ! are gone. As soon as I try to sync iTunes selects 100 songs and does not sync them to my Ipod. After the first time I added more songs and there was no change to the number of songs not synced. Any suggestions?

I only have songs no other media. The specs for my Ipod say it should hold 7500 songs. This problem only started after upgrading to the newest version of iTunes 10.2.1.1

Sync with web gallery

When first setting up my web gallery, I accidently imported an incorrectly named folder with pictures that I didn't want public. I removed the file on iphoto, however it still exists on the webgallery and I am unable to edit it. Ultimatly I would like to delete it. Can anyone tell me how?

Go into iPhoto's preferences/Web Gallery section, click on the web gallery in the window and click on the Stop Publishing button. Then recreate the gallery and republish.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. VZ Navigator won't sync with web.

I am trying to sync my LG Dare's Navigator app with the web. When I try to do it through the phone I get the message "COULD NOT PROCESS YOUR REQUEST. PLEASE TRY AGAIN. [4399]. I get a similar message when I try to sync the phone by accessing the internet based VZNAVIGATOR.COM from my pc and sending the sync signal that way. The phone acts like it wants to sync, but I end up getting that message over and over. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

Master iPad configurator question concerning cart syncing with different versions of iPads.

I have a question concerning configurator syncing.Can the master iPad be a different version of iPad than the other synced iPads? For instance can iPad 2 be the master iPad to a group of iPad Air's? The iPad 2 has some fewer capabilities than the Air, would some settings or restrictions be left off of the iPad Airs if they were set up this way? Thanks.

There is no such thing as 'master iPad'. If you're using Configurator or Profile Manager control of the setup is done from a Macintosh.

IPhone sync with Web Gallery

I have been sending photos, taken with my iPhone, to a .Mac Web Gallery.
When I view info for a photo, it has very little information attached to to it; height, width, name, size and import date. Is there a way to make it so iPhone can attach more information, like the date, and possibly the camera make, model and software?
I would think that Apple would want to have people know that the iPhone took the photo by inserting that into the photo info.

What you see - the information provided with the photo upload to a Web Gallery is what you get.
I may be unique but rarely am I interested in such information nor look nor do any of my family and friends that view my Web Galleries but you can provide Apple feedback here.

I have a third gen nano I haven't used in a while. I downloaded the lastest version of itunes, and the nano will not sync. Also the screen layout does not look
like it used to. There is no left side "menu" on screen that all the writen support talks about. Anyone can help??

The iphone cannot by synced with this version of Itunes because its software is too old-

with 10,5 beta4 and ios5 beta

The requirement for the latest iTunes (ver 10.7) is an operating system of Snow Leopard (Mac OS X 10.6). You will have to purchase Snow Leopard, available at 1-800-MY-APPLE for $19.99. You will not be able to get it using the Software Update utility. It is also not available as downloadable content like Lion and Mountain Lion. You can check stores like Best Buy and Wal-Mart, I know it is NOT available at Apple Retail Stores. Hope this helps.
