Synced Photos appearing as negative image on IPOD Touch

Hi - jpegs synced from my computer are appearing as photo "negative" images ie black is white. This is for both colour and black and white JPEGS. Removed the photos and re synced them all to no avail. Couldn't find any help topics - Help !!

They are sorted on the iPod by the modification date of the photos. To sort them the whay you want you can change the modification dates on the Mac and then sync or:

  • Photos appear as negative images after updating to iOS 7

I have the iPhone 4S.  After downloading iOS 7, my photos are still present but appear as negative images.  Anyone else have this problem?

It is still there and the same as before, you just have to click on the various views available.  I think it is the album view that shows the Camera Roll first as before.  The default view after downloading iOS 7 is not the same, but you can change  it.

  • HT4236 Is there a way to sync photos from my computer onto my Ipod touch 'Camera Roll' album?

Everytime I sync photos from my computer onto my ipod they go into two different folders, and not the camera roll. I really want to have them in the camera roll and was wondering if there was a way to do so,
    Thanks.
    Georgia.

There is, but I would avoid that method if I were you.
The Camera Roll (on an iPod Touch) is where photos taken on the iPod, screenshots taken on the iPod and also saved images are located.
Although other people may alternative suggestions, I regard the Camera Roll a temporary loctation, until the next Sync with iTunes. At that time, it is wise to move the pictures from the Camera Roll and put them somewhere on your computer. This means that when (rather than if) the iPod requires a Restore, you don't lose your pictures, since a Restore will remove all content from the iPod, and only put back onto the iPod what is on the computer.
For safety, I copy the Camera Roll pictures, into a folder which will then put them back onto the iPod in the Photo Library, and only once sucessfully copied, do I then delete them from my iPod' Camera Roll.
As for the two different folders...
    You can only choose one folder on your computer to Sync with your iPod, named for instance, "Piccys" and in there are (for example) general photos. However, also in that folder, you can have sub-folders, named for instance "Family" which have only photos of the family. Once the folder "Piccys" is Synced with your iPod, when you look in the Photos App on the iPod, you will see a list of sections;
    Photo Library
    Family
The "Photo Library section" will have all the photos, both from the "Piccys folder" and the "Family folder" listed as one list. However, if you look in the "Family section", you will see only the photos in the "Family folder".
So in your situation, I suggest that you create a sub-folder in your chosen "Sync folder" and place all the Camera roll pictures in that. What you certainly should not be doing is leaving photos in the Camera Roll or trying to put other pictures into the Camera Roll. That will be a recipe for disaster.
By the way, in my experience, the more pictures in the Camera roll, the slower a Sync becomes.

  • Can't sync photos 'cause PC won't recognize iPod Touch

Hi everyone. I have an iPod Touch 4th generation and I've used it to take pictures and videos. Now I want to sync them on my computer but I can't. iTunes will only let me sync pictures or videos from the folders on my PC (which has Windows XP) to my iPod but not the other way around. I guess this has to do with the fact that the iPod appears in iTunes but not in My Computer. I don't know if this is relevant but when I first installed the iPod iTunes didn't recognize it, then I fixed that problem (I don't remember how I did it, I just followed the instructions I found in Apple Support) and now everything works perfectly except for the photo/video syncing. Can anyone help?

I have the exact some thing happening to me.

  • How to sync photos from your computer to the ipod touch without removing its photos

So I want to senda picture I have on my computer to my ipod touch 4g. I saw a video and I followed it, i used itunes, clicked the device then photos then i picked a folder and click sync but when i click Apply a bx pops up that says if I snyced these photos the photos already existing will be removed, is there a way to keep the photos on the ipod and just add the pictures from the compute?

Place both the old photos and the new photos in the same folder you sync photos with. Youcan have one level of subfolders in the one syncing folder.

  • How do I sync photos from my computer to my IPod touch 2nd generation?

I can't find anything in the ITunes store that will allow me to sync photos from my computer to my 2nd generation IPod touch.

You don't go to the iTunes Store to sync photos, that is where you download and purchase content hence the name.
    - select your iPod from the Sidebar
    - select Photos at the top to the right of Summary
    Now follow the article below:

My ipod nano photos appear in negative format

Hi , I got the same issue yesterday, 2 ways to fix it
    1) From your IPOD , go to SETTING , tab GENERAL , tab ACCESSIBILITY, tehn turn WHITE on BLACK  off.
    or
    2) Connect your IPOD to PC Itunes , click on your IPOD NAME , then in ITUNE SUMMARY , click on the tab in the bottom of the page and uncheck the WHITE on BLACK.
    Hope this works for you.

  • Im trying to sync photos from my mac to my iPod nano 3rd generation, and an error keeps coming up that says "format could not be converted". How do I fix this?

Im trying to sync photos from my mac to my iPod nano 3rd generation, and an error keeps coming up that says "format could not be converted". How do I fix this?

    Hi newipoduser,
    Here are some possible solutions:
Do you use musicmatch jukebox on your computer? If you do, you have to go into task manager on windows and end process mim.exe. It interferes with disconnecting ext devices
    Empty your "trash/recycle bin."
If that doesn't work, try quitting all your programs, especially music-type programs, basically things that look for mp3's etc.
if that doesn't work, "log off" then "log on" and that should refresh/purge your OS system.
Finally, you can restart your computer.
    Hope one of these helps!
    Cheers,

  • I cannot sync any music or movies on my ipod touch ( updated to the 5.0.1 version)

I don't understand this at all, I just synced an album of songs onto my ipod touch but then when I went to sync a m4v file of a Tv show, it will not sync. Itunes keeps freezing. I don't even get a "sync in progress" message.

    Try resetting the iPod...
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Restart your iPod. Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button down until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Now try the App or iTunes Store.
If you still need help try here >  Can't connect to the iTunes Store

  • Ideal photo size (pixels) for viewing in iPod Touch?

I would like to move some of my photos from iPhoto to my new iPod Touch, but the photos are very large. What would be the ideal high resolution photo size for viewing in the iPod?
    Thanks.

I'm guessing that you are looking for the actual screen size in pixels .. maybe someone will know that but I do know that on the apple site they mention the video being 640x480 pixels, so that might be a size to try.
    http://www.apple.com/ipod/compare-ipod-models/#moreinfo
Though so long as you have it in the same proportions .. when the image should transfer even at higher resolution to the size of the screen and avoid the black bars that I guess is the reason for taking the trouble with this

  • TS5181 iTunes radio does not appear in "Music" on my iPod Touch, Why?

iTunes radio does not appear in "Music" on my iPod Touch. How can I fix this?

Ok, I have resolved this issue myself. I contacted Apple support but they had no clue.
The resolution is this, bring Siri up and say "radio". Radio comes up and you touch "now playing". Believe it or not the radio icon appears and remains.
I hope that helps other folk.

  • Why won't iTunes 11.0.1 sync my Podcasts to my 3rd Gen iPod Touch on IOS 6.0.1?

Why won't iTunes 11.0.1 sync my Podcasts to my 3rd Gen iPod Touch on IOS 6.0.1?  I'm running iTunes on my MacBook with Mac OSX 10.6.8.  I've checked to make sure in iTunes that the Podcast Sync box is checked and it is.  I've tried checking communities and tried several suggestions and nothing seems to work for me.  Everything else syncs except Podcasts.  I can't figure it out. Any suggestions to get Podcasts syncing to my iPod Touch again?  Thanks!

One other step I've tried was removing and completely reinstalling the playlist to the iPod. That cleared up the problem for about two days.

  • HT201210 My Ipod-touch was ios5 when I bought. You recommend to upgrade ios6, because set-up icon always shows me "+".  For that on facebook I can't see wall photos. So I want my ipod touch to be back as initial version ios5. How can I do? please tell me.

Unfortunately, I don't think it solved the problem. I believed the new iPod thing solved the weird behavior problem, but after that the button stopped working.
Do you know how to contact Genius? Because I don't think I can find a store in my area, when I tried to.
