Synch Error Message - .\Error.cpp

I have tried to syn my Outlook contacts and calendar to my torch 9800.
On the last two occassions I have received the error message " line 140 in .\Error.cpp" and to contact technical support.
Is there a download fix for this

This definitiely is a problem with Desktop v 7.0 possibly communicating with Outlook 2010. The problem stated after i upgraded from Outlook 2007 to Outlook 2010. I tried to delete all device data as you suggested and re-syn but this didnt work for me.
I finally solved the problem. I uninstalled BBy Desktop v 7.0 and re-installed the old version BBy Desktop v 6.0 which i still had in my downoad directory. My contacts are now up-to-date

well , here goes my suprise . got recently Mac Pro 2.66 , one of the fastest machines around and i still get "could not synchronise data in time " error when CPU Usage of OS X is only on 12% !!! with not much happening in a Song ? is this still draging every body else down ? i used to have a lot of synch errors when i was on Pentium 4 Logic 5.5
now i switched to Mac hoping to have better workflow and still having Logic stoping because of that annoying synch error. what about you out there , quad owners !
p.s. i have audio buffer on set 125 . should not be a problem
with quad 2.66 . am i wrong ?

i think logic is fine Instrument it needs to be improved just as any other major DAW's . synch errors like , coundn't process data in time etc, is 20th century . there is enough tech knowelege nowedays to sort this legacy of the past out . what i'm afraid to go into is to start twicking OS till i would go Grey and not having any improvement as i did when i was usin PC & Windos . Melissa .., i have those error poping up without audio files in a song , only logic Synths and Stylus can cause those pop up . i don't want to dramatize it i have qute bearable interaptions but still those kind of Audio or whatever related problems they might be should be sorted out once and for all by Apple . also i constructed audoload on a new system i was using Cubase before i moved to Mac .
for Chris', attention i've got quite qood Audio interface hooked up : Yamaha i88x Mlan interface .
i'm hopeing to hear more feedback on this thread though.

I kicked off an inital synch for WebTools 2007 (may also be an issue in 596) and I had 1 synch error for SBOPartner:

I traced the sql log and found the problem was related to addresses. The synchid only allows 50 characters but my synchid was 51 characters (COMINF, Communication Infrastructure Corporation, S). Anyway, to fix I modified the table to allow 100 characters and reran the synch. I know an upgrade will set it back to 50 but at least it's working now.
I tried to post this to support as a bug but I couldn't figure out how (as usual) or the authorization stuff changed so I figured I would post it here so hopefully the devs will see this and update the code.

Thanks Shawn ... My version of Netpoint is 2007.0.620.0 and the synch manager is 2007.0.620.35247. I'm not sure what patch level this means I am on though.

When I hook my Iphone 3GS up to the computer and Itune opens I get a message This Ipone cannot be used because Apple Mobile device service is not started. Does anyone know why? I cannot see my phone as a device or anything. ????

Try downloading and installing the latest version of iTunes from here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/.
You can also try restarting the Apple Mobile Device Service, as shown here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1567. If you have to restart the service often, the issue could be caused by a conflict with the security software on the computer.
If the issue persists, try manually locating and updating the Apple Mobile Device Driver, as shown here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1538.

Dreaded 0x3b21 synching error with Curve 8310 DM 4.7 on XP pro 3

No joy with DM 4.6 of DM 4.7 (4.7 by the way hangs on "registering modules" during install like 4.6 did as well!)

I am not alone in this struggle so I hope some will profit from the demo above.
I have had NO SUCCESS in synching my curve for over two weeks... (I'm looking a lot more at Android and Iphone now).
That said, I need those in the know to decipher this cryptic message. Actually, I need a fix. Let the someone else decipher this and tell me the fix or the workaround.

I just got the phone recently so I guess while I was trying to figure out the configuration I had made a change somewhere either in Outlook or DM and that caused the errors to occur. Uninstalling DM and deleting all of the settings was a complete waste of time.
Creating a new Outlook profile seems to be the fix for me to. And like yourself, uninstalling was a waste of time. Furthermore, I had no joy with editing the Synchronization Configuration without seeing the error.

Synching error with different USB port

I set up my iPhone and had no problems synching with iTunes. I then changed to a different USB port than the one I had originally used. I began to recieve the following error when I tryed to synch "0xE800001". I then switched to a different usb port and everything worked fine.
Is there any way to get iPhone to work with the new usb port because that is the only port that charges when my computer is off.

Make sure you perform all Vista Software updates, also visit your PC manufacture website and download and install latest drivers for your PC hardware.
Also ensure you are not connecting via a USB Hub or using a USB extension cable.
If it only gives that error message in 1 USB port and not others. Try disconnecting any un-needed USB devices. Then connect back to that port and try syncing again.

IPod Nano synching error 13019

I've seen this error message in other posts and (I think) I've tried all the suggestions to no avail. My issue is that I didn't start getting this error until I switch to an iPhone a couple of months ago. Everything synchs properly to the iPhone, but my iPod will only synch podcasts, no music will synch over!
I've tried deleting the music library on my laptop (I operate on Vista), I've tried resetting the iPod to factory settings, I've synched the iPod with nothing checked, I've rebooted my laptop, I've shut down my iPod and restarted, etc and I still get the error message.
Anyone have any suggestions?

HELP! Major error [cpp-1014] and on a deadline.

I'm six months in to a large history/documentary of our church. The project is eighteen minutes in length with multiple After Effects/Photo Animation etc. There are large amounts of old photos and videos from various media. I've made several projects like this before, but never one this large and detailed.
The showing is in two weeks.
I'm suddenly getting the error message "Premiere Pro has encountered an error. [/Volumes/BuildDisk/build/slightlybuilt/shared/adobe/MediaCore/ASL/Make/Mac/.../.../Src/T imecode.cpp-1014.}
I've tried using the backup drive instead/repairing permissions/using autosaved files created before I had the problem/running the project on two separate computers.
I've run out of ideas. Please help soon.

I know what you mean re: possible duplication- however, i know for sure that in the Gmail archive there are definitely tons more unique emails than it is listing after it runs its data-extraction - and it also gives a count of duplicates as it reports the total. Weird thing is, it does indicate from one account, some 5000
unique emails...tho as i say, the .txt file it generates that's supposed to reveal all those names - shows only a small fraction of that quantity....
Dunno if it's a glitch - thought maybe it was a demo version that only would show "X" number of results - but the "About" info for this app. says it is registered - ((bought it a few yrs ago and haven't used since '08 election season)).

In this case user is getting created in OIM but LDAP Synch is not happening we are getting the error as mentioned above.
When we create user in OIM not through Web Serives but through Identity Self Service and provide any date attribute for example Start Date,Provisoning Date, Deprovisoning Date or any other date attribute, then also we are geeting the same error of Error in attribute conversion operation Issue, in this case user is not getting created in OIM and LDAP Synch is not happening.
And when we create a user in OIM not through Web Serives but through Identity Self Service and did not give any of the date attribute then user is getting created and LDAP synch is also happening successfully.
We need to create users through Web Services and we need to resolve this issue asap, request you all to provide any helpful pointer on this.

This can happen due to OIM-LDAP wrong attribute mapping/value getting passed.
Can you please first try with OOTB attributes and see how it behaves?

R3 (rfc-sender) - XI - Webservice ( soap-recever) Synch : error handlng

R3 (rfc-sender) <-> XI <-> Webservice ( soap-receiver) Synch
User will enter the request data in R3 and waiting for the response, but webservice is down(i.e not available)
Request is reached to XI box and XI is trying to send data when webservice is down( i,e not available), RFC is waiting for the response from XI box.
how we will handle this kind of situation,how should i give response back to RFC( because RFC sent the request and waiting for the response, XI could not send any response back as Webservce is down, Please advice me how should XI inform to the end user r R3 abt webservice down.
Pleae help me out on this.

Hi,
Normally, the Web service should provide a fault message back to XI and the RFC should also have an exception defined that will trigger a fault message mapping and that way the application error is sent back to R3.
But if the web service does not provide u with a fault message then XI will trigger the System Error back to R3.
The functionality of checking the DB status and propagating meaningful errors to XI as fault messages should lie with the web service.

Internal software error cpp, line 214 - creating subtitles failed / please help

it a pretty toutgh expierience trying to create my first dvd with Adobe,
I have to hand it over this Friday, in some 12 hours,
and there is another issue I have to cope with:
1. I have the project ready, I check for errors and there are no.
2. My project has 2 two timelines (movie and soundtrack) and subtitles in 7 languages. All already transcoded.
3. I press build DVD.ISO and here comes the wonderful Adobe greeting: Internal software error. File Spec: cpp, line 214. I clik ok and the other window appears happilly informing me that creating subtitles failed. And creating of thesee subtitles was the only reason I started using Adobe Premiere Pro and Encore
Could you please help me, I am going slightly crazy with it. How can I resolve this issue. I tried to look at the forum, but did not find the solution. Neither @ google.

I did two timelines, since I wanted to give the possibility to listen to the music track, without watching the movie. No idea if this could be done in one timeline (I am just starting my Adobe adventure .
Coming to the point, I fixed it. Here is how:
1. While building DVD the message was: Internal software error. File Spec: cpp, line 214. and creating subtitles failed.
2. I tried to make really big spaces between subtitles, as well as change the fonts, the kerings, etc. - to no avail.
3. I deleted all the subtitle text (marking it with the mouse and pressing delete), but leaving all the subtitle tracks, since I did not want to link them all again to the subtitle menu buttons.
4. For each subtitle track I imported the subtitle text once again.
And it worked! So simple if one already knows how to do it.
Thanks for help anyway, you and others at this forum helped me a lot during the whole project (missing Encore library, baddriver.txt to mention the most critical issues).

Synching Error when updating Photo Library

Tonight, I did a massive photo dump from my iPhone to my Mac via iPhoto. Since that has been done, I am not able to add any external files to my iPhone saying that the file cannot be found to complete the synch? Does anyone know what this might be referring to as the only files transferred were pics n vids?

I have exact the same problem - Error Message when iTunes tries to sync the Photos from iPhoto to the iPhone: sync not possible because iphone4 File not found!
Has anybody any idea how to solve this?

IPhoto causing Synch error

When I connect my 16GB touch to my MacBook Air and have the iPhoto option checked during the sync I get an "The iPod Touch cannot be synced. The required file cannot be found" Error message. When I uncheck "synch photos from iPhoto" the synch process works fine. Recently upgraded to 10.5.8, everything else works fine. Any suggestions?
