Synch-ing calendar & BBerry

I've only had my Blackberry for 2 weeks, and even though I enjoy it, I'm frustrated that when I'm synch-ing my blackberry's calendar with Outlook in my computer, everything earlier than a month is deleted on my calendar. What I do to prevent with dynch-ing that parts of my "older" calendar is deleted? Please help! Thanx. De la Harpe

I would enable advanced logging and see if you can nail down where the issue exactly is happening.

Try going into Backup/Restore - backup the device.
Go into Advanced and your device databases are listed on the right, highlight calendar and choose clear. It will wipe your calendar.
on the right hand window you should see the backup file you just created, highlight calendar and click on the arrow pushing it to the right window and back onto your handheld.

Synch'ing calendar between Outlook 07 and BB DTM 4.3 crashes DTM

Following problems with BB DTM not even running, clean install of BB DTM 4.3.025 now suffering repeated crashes when synch'ing the calendar between Outlook 07 (fully patched Vista) and my BB 8100... DTM dialog says "processing device calendar" when it crashes. Tried all manner of variation - limited date ranges, all dates synch, one-way synch, two-way synch,... crashes when dialog says "processing device calendar".
Anyone any clues?

Each time I start up my MacBook Air a text file appears on the desk top (calendarlogging,txt) the file/document contains lines of code. I'm using iCloud to synch my calendar to multiple other devices - iMac, iPad and iPhone. Using Maverick on both my iMac and my MacBook Air. The file was also showing up on the desktop when I was using Lion. Any thoughts?

Hi everyone,
To anyone who might read this, I ended up re-installing with the original install disc and was able to get back on to Mac, though I lost all of the previous data that I had not backed up. Unsure still if it will continue to let me access the HDD in this, but it kind of confirms that installing Lion probably put too much stress on the computer this last year.

Having trouble synching IPhone calendar with two computers

I used to be able to synch calendars, via my Iphone, between my windows-Outlook calendar on my gateway and the ICal on my IMac. Now, for some reason, when I synch with the IMac, via ITunes, everythng on the Iphone is replaced by the info on my Ical even though I request a "merge". Any thoughts as to why?

i have 2 macs, one for work and one for home, and everytime i synch my calendar with my work one, it deletes my movies (which aren't itunes bought, as well as music. How do i synch to two computers without losing the content i clearly own but which is only on my home computer? Any advice greatly appreciated.

No synch of calendar & contacts with iTunes 11.3

since i accepted updating iTunes to vers 11.3 (on W'7 with iPhone 4) the synch of calendar and contacts doesn' work any more: iTunes seems to synch, but it doesn't change or add anything... :-(

Perhaps it is worth reinstalling. For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
There is also advice in there if you want to roll back to the previous version of iTunes.

Hello, I realize there are several postings for problems in synching Google calendar, but none seems to answer my problem. I have tried all kinds of suggested means, without success, with a variety of error messages. My BB Z10 is presently synched to my Lotus Notes enterprise work calendar. I wish to add a synch to my personal Google calendar.
Can someone please walk me through the process.

Will iCloud synch my calendars after June 30

I currently use iCal to synch my calendars using iCloud. I run iOS 5 on my iPhone 4 and 4S, plus on my iPads. Is synching going away after June 30th?

Syncing will continue with iCloud; only MobleMe is going away. If all your devices are syncing calendars with iCloud you'll be fine.

I have a problem synching a Calendar on iPhone with iCal on Mac (Lion 10.7.5) - no matter how many times I perform the Synch in iTunes, the Calendar in my iPhone does not appear in the iCal on my Mac

It appears (per the current iPhone user manual) that one has to "share" events from one's iPhone iCal to one's iCloud iCal, event by event. Do this by selecting the event you want to "share," selecting "Edit," then scroll down to "Calendars," select that and then select the calendar to which you wish to TRANSFER the event.
You may also simply select "Calendar" when viewing the event and TRANSFER it to another calendar via that quicker route.
PS: I have not yet figured out how to enter a new event directly into my iCloud iCal via my iPhone without entering it on my iPhone iCal before I then TRANSFER it.

Problem Synching SunOne Calendar group Events to outlook

Is it possible to synch SunOne calendar group events to Outlook Calendar. We are running Calendar 5.1 and Outlook 2003 and 2007. The group entries are not picked up in outlook. eventually we want group events to be picked up on Blackberry and other PDA devices. Any thoughts?

Synch'ing Gmail Calendar

I'm having major issues with this one.
I have a Tour and I'm on Verizon.
It will synch the events to my handheld from my desktop, but it won't synch the events I put on my handheld to my desktop.
Help!
I did a search on here and came up with nothing that helps.

Start the google sync app. Hit the BlackBerry (Menu) key.
Select Options
Scroll down to "Sync These Calendars." Highlight the Google calendar underneath "Sync These Calendars" that you would like your Blackberry to update. Click on it.
Under "Add new handheld events to" there will be a pull-down menu consisting of all your Google calendars as well as an option "none"
Make sure none is NOT selected. Instead, make sure to select the google calendar you'd like new handheld events to be added to.
Be sure to hit escape, saving any changes, until you are back to your calendar. You may sync now if you wish.

Synching multiple calendar entries and not displaying events properly

At my work we have Exchange 2003 and all the latest patches / service packs. We setup to synch via SSL on the device. Plus we use Outlook 2003 and 2007 in our environment. Email comes over although delayed at times and contacts, but the calendar is giving us the most issue. Here are the two problems:
1. Synching is not fully talking to Exchange. We create a new calendar entry so that Outlook and iPhone show the event. We then delete it in Outlook and when it synch's it goes back to Outlook. We have even seen multiple events doubling up and trippling up. Anyone else have this issue and know how to fix?
2. The calendar view is missing many appointments that I think I found a fix for in the discussion boards, but wanted to mention the two main areas we're having trouble with.
For people who use the phone in an enterprise environment, what do you feel is the best configuration to use / setup process you followed to have the least amount of issues for the iPhone and using it not trough iTunes but synching via cell network?

Open up Font Book and select all the fonts and try a "validate fonts." You have a duplicate or corrupted font on your system.
