[synch] iPhone not accessible at all without iTunes Music Store?
Hi there!
Is it possible that the iPhone isn't accessible at all when no internet connection to the Music Store is available? I just tested that with my MacBook after I saw that iTunes shortly connects to the Music Store after selecting the iPhone.
I can't believe that, is that really true? I mean, what if I'm on holyday with both my iPhone and my MacBook, don't have no internet connection available and then decide to synch some other songs to my iPhone? "Tough luck?" I can't imagine that...

I'm a bit puzzled because I am cocksure that it didn't work without internet before. You know, I didn't make it up or so...
But I recently tried out Mobile Me what also fixed anoter issue about the iPhones bookmarks somehow, so, who knows?

New Episodes of my Podcast are not showing up in the iTunes Music Store?
this isn't really an "itunes for mac" question, but since i do my production on a mac, i'll ask it here!
i produce and record a weekly podcast (about 2 hours each week) which has been listed in the iTMS since it started (last february)
this last week we recorded episode 31 and uploaded it to my .mac account, and all went well... the new episode is downloading to anyone who already has subscribed to the rss feed (homepage.mac.com/airplayradio/podcast.xml), but it hasn't shown up in the iTunes Music Store... the software i use to upload the shows generates an automatic ping, and i've done a manual ping a couple of times a day since wednesday, but nothing...
any ideas? absolutely -nothing- (software/hardware/etc.) has changed since i uploaded episode 30 a week ago, and that showed up within an hour...

PowerMac G5 Quad Mac OS X (10.4.8)well, i never got a reply directly to my question, but i was directed by email to post my problem within itunes... go to the podcast page of my podcast and then select "report a concern"... i always thought this was to report offensive podcasts, but if you click on that button you'll see a pull down list with a bunch of problems... i selected "difficulty downloading" and then explained the problem completely... as i said, i never heard back from anyone, but about 4 days later my podcast episode showed up... and this past wednesday we uploaded the latest episode and it showed up in the iTMS almost immediately... go figure?!
if anyone's interested, the podcast name is Schnauzer Logic and its comedy and talk and music and pop culture (i used to be the host of a morning show)... good for a giggle once a week for a couple of hours.

Album artwork not found for album in iTunes music store
I have ripped the Foo Fighters album Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace CD and was hoping to grab the album artwork in iTunes, but iTunes claims "Artwork for 'Foo Fighters - Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace' could not be found".
I have double checked the spelling of the artist and album names, as well as checked for errant spaces or other characters, but I don't see why iTunes doesn't want to download this album art.
Has anyone overcome an issue like this before?

I have an iPhone 4. I recently updated. It loaded all my iTunes music purchases but not the music I had on my computer. This music was on my iPhone before I updated. I have tried re-sycing but not getting anywhere. Says it cannot locate my music files but I see it on my lap top but cannot play it or get it on my iPhone. Can anyone walk me through this?

Yes it would, possibly even brick it.
Have successfully connected my ipod nano with iTunes so looks like the device driver is working.
Can I use my ipod nano USB connector to check?
It is not much help to you, since the device that you need still not recognized.
Anyway looks like I may have to swallow the loss of data. Have set-up a call for tomorrow with Apple support so will wait until after this before doing the factory restore!

Is it possible to store all my itunes music in the cloud and retrieve as needed from my iphone
Bought my wife an 16G Iphone 5 for Christmas. She went to upgrade to 32G the day after Christmas and was told she'd have to pay a $35 restocking fee? She needs the extra storage for music thus my question: is it possible to store all my itunes music in the cloud and retrieve as needed?

A couple of things.
1. Anything you buy from itunes can be stored on the icloud free. It doesn't count against storage.
2. Music not from itunes can be stored in the cloud free up to the storage limit.
3. If you use and pay for itunes match (25$ a year) it will match as much of your music against the Apple library and then only store your non-matched music in the cloud. This is great for large libraries.
4. When you request a song from the cloud it needs to be connected to the net to download it so you can play it. It then is stored on your iphone. You may eventually want to delete it from the iphone but it will be available in the icloud for future download.
Just don't agree to "delete from icloud also.

I have a similar problem. I recieved an IPAD for my birthday, and my daughter updated my itunes library so i can use it with the ipad...and somehow all my songs (unpurchased from itunes, and downloaded from a large collection of CDs) ...and play lists were deleted. I still have them on my old ipod, and wonder how to get them back onto my computer so I can redistribute some of them to the ipad. I must be getting too old for this tech stuff, it gets less user friendly every year.

I recently sycned all my Itunes music from my Iphone to my Mac. I had 150-200 songs. After the sync I went and checked my phone, I now only have 53 songs. The lost one's aren't even showing up in my purchased. It's like I never bought them! Please help!!

Ever since i plugged my iphone into the computer, all of my music has been messed up. The songs don't have the right album cover i guess they all just got mixed up somehow. i dont know but its annoying and im not sure how to fix it.
If not this:
iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim
If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is usually in order.

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Why can I not buy songs from iTunes Music Store?
Earlier this year I moved from the U.S.A. to Sweden... changing my 'Mac.com' account address while doing so.
Last week, I tried to purchase some songs from the iTunes Music Store with my American MasterCard (a debit card) which is listed with my Swedish address at my U.S. bank. As I had never purchased at the iTunes M.Store before I was instructed to 'review my account'... which I did. It had my present Sweden address and my Mastercard listed as method of payment. Upon submitting the form, it was rejected, saying that my MasterCard was 'invalid for Sweden'! So I then go to the Apple-Sweden Store and purchase an iTunes Music Card which I receive in the mail the following day. Now I follow the Apple advice posted for purchasing music by redeeming an iTunes Music Card without listing a credit card (http://www.apple.com/se/support/itunes/store/giftcard/#GCA)... except there is no selection for NONE as indicated in these instructions.... So once again when I submit the form it is rejected, meaning that this time I have already spent money for the iTunes Music Card that is now worthless to me!
Is there another way I can redeem this card without going through that 'review account' window...?
I don't care to set up another account by setting up another e-mail address just to do this... as I want all of the Apple business to go through my Mac.com account as it should be configured to do so!O.K. Everything seems to be in order now!
I don't know what happened but this is the results....
After attempting to edit change the information on my iTunesMS account at least 7 times, I posted the above question, logged out of iTunes, closed down all my apps and turned off my computer.
A few hours later, I thought I would give it one more try and when I turned on iTunes, went to the Music Store and then 'reviewed' my account... it had my old American address on it with the country listed as Sweden... I just left it alone, as it didn't have my credit card info listed at all... Curiously, I'm clueless about that (though I did send this same complaint to Apple during the first posting... did that have anything to do with it?) When I clicked the continue button (without changing any info) it prompted me that I was finished setting up my iTunes Music Store account and I was immediately able to download some songs....(using the iTunes Music card--- I have not tried my MasterCard!)
So basically, I did nothing except close iTunes, turn off my computer and later rebooted it and opened iTunes! Strange... does that seem like a fix or what? -
Why Can't I Download my Podcast from the iPhone's iTunes Music Store

Newbie here and was hoping if someone could help me. I recently submitted my podcast feed at the itunes music store and is now currently searchable if i use my itune client on my Mac. No problem on subscribing and everything works great. Now when I search it in the itunes music store via my iphone, I can still search it, and it has 2 reviews but it seems that all episodes are grayed out. I can't do anything with it. I can't download it whatsoever.
Anyone out there with the same issues I'm having? Is it my feed or my phone?i just tried subscribing, and when i do, i am unable to download any of the podcasts, nor am i able to listen to them in iTunes.
i was able to find your podcast in my iPhone, but i was not able to get it to download like i can with other podcasts.
sadly, as i have no experience on the admin side of podcasts, so i can not offer any advise, but i hope my information helps you troubleshoot!
