Synch Multiple Calendars on Outlook 2007

Can you synch multiple calendars that are on my Outlook 2007 (1 email address) to my BB Tour?  If so, please give detailed instructions.
Thank you.

  • Source of Multiple Calendars in Outlook 2007 and iCloud (iOS7.0.4)

Source of Multiple Calendars in Outlook 2007 and iCloud (iOS7.0.4)
My  iPhones (2) and iPad list the following color-coded calendar names when the word "Calendar" is pressed at the bottom of the calendar screen:  All iCloud (no colored dot), Calendar (Blue Dot),  Home (orange Dot), Saved emails (red dot), and Saved emails (2)( green dot).
Calendar items created on both iPhones are coded with a blue dot and appear on a blue background in iCloud and on the phones.  Calendar items created  on my iPad appear on a green background (saved emails 2)  on my iPad and my iphones. Why isn't the color "Blue"? It appears that entries made on Outlook appear in Saved Emails (red).
I have not imported or connected with any external calendars.
This behavior raises the following questions:
    1)  Should entries created  on each device appear in a different color?
    2)  Does the color associated with an entry designate a specific device or a specific type of device?
    3)  Which device is the "Home" device referred to in paragraph 1 above?
    4)  Why would a Calendar be named with a reference to "saved emails"? From where would it come.
My understanding about synching with iCloud was that any entry from any iDevice (phone or pad)  or iCloud would appear in both iCloud and  in the calendars of all devices on the same  Apple Account.  Please confirm my understanding or correct it.
With iCloud as the hub, must I still utilize Microsoft Outlook?  I am retired and no longer need Outlook for work.
Can I edit any calendar entry in I cloud had have it change it in all the devices, or must it be edited in the device in which the entry was originally made?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would ditch Outlook like a bad habit.
Now to answer your questions starting at the bottom.  yes, you can edit any and all iCloud Calendars on iCloud.com.  You can rename your calendars, re-color them, create, edit or delete events, etc.
So you asked a question on why your calendars are named 'saved emails'.  This sounds like something that would be created from Outlook since you can send email to the calendar in Outlook.  If you quit using outlook, you can simply rename the calendars to something more sensible or delete them entirely.
About calendar colors.  Each calendar you (or your mail program on your behalf) has created gets assigned a name and color.  Each color helps your identify which calendar and event belongs to.  When you create a new event from your iOS device or iCloud.com, you will find a handy little section that says 'calendar' where you can specify to which calendar (or color) you want that event to be on.  You will also find this option when tapping and editing and event on the iOS devices or icloud.com.  If you want all of your devices to default to the same calendar when creating a new event, on your iOS devices go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Scroll to the section that says 'Calendar' in gray (its at the very bottom) and change the 'default calendar' to whatever you want the defualt to be.  You can also change the default in iCloud.com by clicking the gear icon.
My recommendation: 1) Ditch Outlook. Go to your Control Panel > iCloud and uncheck Outlook. 2) Move all of your events to one or two calendars.  if you don't have a need for multiple calendars, just simplify your life and move them all to one calendar.  You can edit the event and change the calendar, then go back and delete the other calendars that are confusing you with all the different colors.  You can rename, recolor, create and delete calendars form your iOS device by tapping calendar in the bottom of the screen when in the calendars app then tap edit in the top left.  You can also do these same things on iCloud.com  Where ever is easiest for you will work.

  • How do I eliminate multiple calendars in outlook 2007

I seem to have 7 different versions of the same calendar in Outlook 2007  that have different degrees of  completeness. Can someone explain how to simplify this mess into one calendar in icloud that syncs with my iPhone 4S?  All I want is one calendar shared in Outlook and the iphone. thanks.

Backup every calendar that is not in the iCloud account, then delete them.

  • How can i sync my calendar in Outlook 2007 with iTunes 11.1.3.8 WITHOUT using iCloud?

How can i sync my calendar in Outlook 2007 with iTunes 11.1.3.8 WITHOUT using iCloud?

your link shows how to sync, i know how to do that.
i specifically wanted to sync my outlook calendar with my phone, not my outlook calendar with icloud calendar.
apparently you have to go into setup on phone and tell phone not to sync calendars with icloud so you can get choice to sync phone via itunes.
    thanks anyways for trying.

  • Problems with a shared calendar using Outlook 2007 and Exchange 2010

    Hello all,
We are having a problem with sharing a calendar using Outlook 2007 and Exchange 2010.
I will start with some background. I have just started my position with this company. I have been working with networks for awhile at the small business level. I have not had much production experience with exchange. There is only myself and my supervisor
who has inherited a midsized network which was built by five previous techs that are no longer with the company. Of course, the previous techs did not leave much documentation, so the original hows and whys for our system setup has been lost.
One of the managers has a calendar she shares with some of our users. I believe this calendar has been in use since sometime in 2006. A mailbox was created to hold this calendar to keep it separate from the managers calendar. I am not sure what version
of exchange they were using at that time, but I assume there was one or two migrations of it getting to its current state on our exchange 2010 server. At some point it was observed that the other workers she was sharing with were not able to access it correctly.
I am not fully sure what the original problem was (possibly some people not being able to see or connect to the calendar), but it was decided to give everyone who needed access to this calendar full access permissions through exchange. Correct me if I
am wrong, but I believe that gave everyone connected the ability to do anything with the calendar. Of course the manager was not happy about that. This is where I started working on the problem.
I removed everyone, except the manager who wants to control the calendar, from having "Full Access Permissions". This did have the effect of making some people just able to see the calendar and not make changes. Though there were others that were
able to connect to the calendar who I thought would not be able to. The manager that originally created the calendar did try to manage access to it through the Outlook interface, though it currently does not seem to be fully in effect.
So, to get to the point of what we are trying to do, is there a way to get the original manager back into control of the calendar though Outlook? It would be preferred to be able to keep the history of what they tracked of this calendar, so starting a new
one would be something we would rather avoid. After that, getting all of the users that need to connect to the calendar reconnected with the correct access permissions and making sure they are all synchronized.
I realize this is a big mess, and your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Nigel,
How is the impact, just one user or all users, Outlook or OWA?
If just one user, it seems like an issue on the Outlook Client side.
Please trying to re-create new profile to fresh the caches.
Please runing Outlook under safe mode to avoid some AVs, add-ins and firewall.

  • Problems syncing iPhone 4S contacts and calendar with Outlook 2007

Hello.  I am having difficulties syncing my iPhone 4S Contacts and Calendar with Outlook 2007.  It used to work perfectly with my iPhone 4, but now I am having difficulties both ways.  That is, I add something to my Outlook 2007 Calendar, sync in iTunes, but it doesn't appear in my iPhone.  Or, I add a Contact to my iPhone, sync in iTunes, but it doesn't appear in Outlook 2007.  I believe I have the iTunes settings correct.

Me too. Think it is since 6.1.3.
Interesting other quirk is that as well as NOT syncing my calendar, it also unticks my calendar from pc on the iphone.
When ii retick it, i get the calendar back, but as it was before the sync, ie, it does not have the bnew events from my pc in it.
This is a 2 way problem.
New events on my iphone wont sync to my pc, and new events on my pc wont sync to my iphone.

  • Internet Calendar in Outlook 2007 and iCloud

I have imported a google calendar into Outlook 2007.  Does anyone know how to get iCloud to see that particular calendar?  iCloud will see every other calendar I have in outlook except that one.  Any thoughts?

I could not get iclould to work well with oultook and just took it off. Wished I had reviewed the  forums as there seem to be a lot of issues with outlook and icloud, depsite initially looking like a very good solution.  I am running Office 7 64 bit with Outook 2007, on the machine, not an exhange server. Also wanted to sync contacts and calendar with an iPad and Android phone, so perhaps a bit more challenging. After setting up icloud on Windows 7, calendar on outlook synced well with iPpad and android, but I could never get the ipad entries back into the others. Contacts seemd to sync correcly with iPad and oultook, but no solution for android phone. Many calls and discusions, and review of forums resulted in removing icloud which is not so easy.  The entries in those calendar and contact files have to be copied back to the original folders and then remove icloud. I then set up iTunes to do the sync and it works. However outlook still had the folders so further clean up was required. Removing icloud does not restore outlook,so it's a bad set up in my view. The modification icloud makes to outlook are not simple to reverse. MIxed level of support does nto help, though today I received pretty capable support with pretty good outlook knowledge. What I was told seemd to work, so I will stck with Itunes for now.

  • Syncing calendars using Outlook 2007 from iCal Server

    Hi,
I would like to know the procedure to sync calendars using Outlook 2007 from iCal Server.
I'm setting up Internet Calendar on Outlook 2007 from == Tools> Account Settings> Internet Calendars>New> Enter the URL and click on add button
Post that, I'm getting an error:
"Error: Cannot verify or add the Internet Calendar in Outlook. Verify the link is a valid calendar link:
    webcal://fully qualified domain name:8443/calendars/_uids_/Generated UID/Calendar"
    Looking forward some response soon.
    Thanks!!

    Hi!
That is never going to work if you are looking for 2-way sync with iCal server. You need a 3rd party application to do that, like ical4ol or the open source Outlook sync plugin available here: http://caldav.calconnect.org/implementations/clients.html.
Or alternatively, use another mail client like eMClient for mail and calendaring.

  • Syncing calendars with Outlook 2007

Hello guys and gals, I have an issue when I try to sync my iPod touch (2g) with my Outlook 2007 Calendar. I am running the latest version of Itunes (9.1.1.12) and am running 3.1.2 firmware on my iPod touch 2g. The model is MC086LL.
The issue I have is that after it is done syncing every time is two hours behind. the start and ending times are both two hours behind from what I have on my computer. I have checked to see if the Date and Time settings are off, but both are identical on both the Computer and the iPod.
I have checked "Replace information on this iPod" for calendars, and it gives the same issue.
Is there any way to fix this? I don't see why after it is done syncing that it displays that the times are two hours behind. The times on the computer are correct, but on the iPod they are two hours behind on both starting time and ending time.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I had a similar problem with al day events showing up a day out of synch. Have a look at the following link, it solved my problem!
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1692
by deleting the synch history first and then replacing the data on the ipod the issue is resolved!
Also check that both outlook and ipod are set to the same time zones!

  • About sync multiple calendar to outlook

I would like to ask the result of sync multiple calendar from iPhone IOS 6.x to outlook issue.
Our users are using Outlook 2010 and had a primary mailbox for their own mailbox, and a shared mailbox for the Shared Calendar issue.
The iPhone had multiple Calendar there, if the user use itune to sync the calendar to Outlook 2010:
Will the multiple calendar combine into one calendar in Outlook 2010 and classified by Categories?
Which Outlook calendar will the iPhone calendars sync to Outlook 2010? Sync only to Primary mailbox or to both Primary mailbox and the shared caolendar?
On the other hand, as the Outlook 2010 has a primary mailbox and a shared mailbox, how would itune handle to sync the calendar to iPhone?
    Please kindly help.
    Ivan

    Hello littleoski,
After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help in this situation. It contains a number of troubleshooting steps and helpful advice concerning backing up data:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766
    Back up
To back up the content on your iOS device, follow these steps:
Make sure your computer has the latest version of iTunes.
Connect your iOS device to your computer.
Choose File > Devices > Back up.
If you're using iTunes 10.7 or earlier, right-click the device from the list and choose Backup Now.

  • Contacts, Calendar in Outlook 2007 won't sync

I've been unable to get my Outlook 2007 Contacts and Calendar to sync with my iPhone. I noted in an earlier discussion something about "reset sync data history" but I cannot find a place in which to do that.
I'm using a Windows XP computer with the latest iTunes on it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you!

I too have the same problem! Boy am I glad (ok not really) to hear I'm not the only one.
I set the options in iTunes to sync the calendar/contacts to Outlook (2003). My iTunes (music) is syncing fine, but anything coming from Outlook is NOT. I manually entered in 4 contacts on the iPhone and synced it up and did not receive any dialog (on computer) that said the contacts will be overwritten (as user guide described). However, when I deleted those same 4 contacts from the iPhone, then I did receive a dialog saying that they were deleted from iPhone and changes would be applied to the computer (but then they were not as I did not see the contacts disappear from Outlook).
I found some online help on Apple that referred to troubles with syncing and described restarting iPhone and re-installing iTunes. I tried that and no change.
I also tried the reset sync data history as described by previous poster, and no change.
I read in the user guide that the sync is supposed to be bi-directional (changes made in iPhone go to computer and vice versa) but so far I'm only seeing any changes that I make on iPhone go back onto iPhone.
If anyone finds a solution to this problem, please post!

  • Sync calendar between Outlook 2007 and iCloud

I've just downloaded and installed the iCloud Control Panel on my office Windows 7 machine.  I enabled Calendar and Task syncing with Outlook on my Windows machine.  However, when I opened Outlook calendar, I was surprised to see my iCloud calendar adjacent to my Outlook calendar in Outlook.  I'd expected that iCloud would have synced the two calendars.  In other words, I was hoping the calendar entries from my Outlook calendar would be merged with those from my iCloud calendar resulting in a single calendar.  Now, I've simply got two calendars instead of one.  If I want to add an entry to both calendars, must I add it in both places now?  That doesn't seem very efficient.  Is there a way to merge the entries into a single calendar?
    Any help would be appreciated.
