SYNCH.NOKIA.IPROGRESS2

I look around for a while, but I found nothing related to my problem... I'm trying to synchronize my 6680 with Office outlook XP 2002, using PC Suite 6.80.22 (english version) on Win XP Build 2600 SP2, and a USB cable connection. PC suite is healthy and connection to phone is ok; I can copy files, install applications and so on. When I start PC synch, the phone starts to send contacts, but when PC synch tries to show progress window I get a msgbox titled "SYNCH.NOKIA.IPROGRESS2" with message "Unable to load progress interface.". I've tried to use PC Suite cleaner 3.3 and reistall... same result. It seems some components from "Time Information Services Ltd." under [%PROGRAM_FILES%]\nokia\nokia pc suite 6\components\ is missing (This directory is NOT present at all on my PC). Are this components required? Are they required from previous version and I still have some old dll registered somewhere? May be I miss some pre-required software? Any idea or help very appreciated... Thanks.

You are lucky... I still had the file... but I've to rename it .log or I couldn't attach it.
Here it is.
Good luck.

  • Synching Nokia N95

I have just got a MacBook and with a little help, managed to synch my Nokia N95 - no problem. However, I have inadvertently deleted all diary appointments from my phone and while they are still on my Mac, if I ask it to synch, it wants to replace the [now blank] details from my phone. Is there a way I can get my phone to synch with what is currently on my MacBook so that I do not lose everything?
Only got my MacBook a couple of days ago so any advice gratefully received.
    Thanks!

First, make backups of your Address Book and iCal data by using the relevant command on the "File" menu in each app (just in case, although I'm sure you backup regularly anyway!).
Then click on your phone in iSync and choose "Reset Device.." from the "Devices" menu

  • PC Suite Sync Error "Unable to load progress inter...

I have been using PC suite successfully for the last few years but recently when i try to sync Outlook to PC Suite I get the error message "Unable to load progress interface" and the process aborts.
I have found the earlier posts regarding this problem and have tried all solutions involving uninstalling and using PC suite cleaner, cc_cleaner, etc. However the one solution I haven't been able to try is the solution posted by 'miksu' (/t5/PC-and-Mac-Software/SYNCH-NOKIA-IPROGRESS2/m-p/33402) involving the download if a file called NclRegpermissions.zip.
The original download location of this file is now unavailable and I have searched in vain for the file.
Does anyone have a solution to this frustrating problem, or know of a download location for the NclRegpermissions.zip file?
    Thanks

I had exactly the same problem with the PC Suite when it updated itself to the latest version (PC Suite 7.1.40.1). Nokia could not provide any assistance.
I tried the OVI Suite in place of the faulty PC Suite (having read some of the postings here). It was of no use as the OVI Suite does not load the Calander Function at all - which is one of the two functions I need to synch - contacts and calander.
So much for having a smart phone that you cannot synch!!!!

  • Nokia Photos Missing SMS

I have installed Nokia Photos as part of newest version of OVI in my PC.
Have synchronised, but deleted some sms entries in Nokia Photos.
When I hook up my mobile with PC, the same sms cannot be synchronised anymore.
Message was "sync completed", but the sms was not there.
Anyway I can "force" Nokia Photos to re-sync the deleted sms?
    Solved!

    Hi,
    What i tried is
First i synched Nokia N95 8 gb data with Nokia photos and then backup-ed messages alone and then deleted those messages from the phone and did soft resetting on my phone
    /discussions/board/message?board.id=topfaq&thread.id=149
then i tried to sync the same device with Nokia photos, its not synching the same messages again.  If you have any other similar device(which has got lifeblog/photos on the phone to sync), then you can restore your nokia n95 8gb messages to the other phone
[Please do make sure that the other phone was not synched with your nokia photos already ]
Once the messages are restored to the other phone, sync it with Nokia photos so that you can get the complete SMS on your pc.  There may be some other easy work around also than this, if any, i will contact again

  • Synch Gmail contacts on Nokia 3120 Classic

    Hi,
How can I synch the Gmail contacts with my Nokia 3120 Classic Mobile phone?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi jabhijeet,
Welcome to the Nokia Support Discussions!
Your phone doesn't support such functionality, but you can log into your social network accounts on your phone for you to be able to view their contact info.
Another option is to add your contacts manually. To do this, tap People > swipe to contacts and then follow the steps below:
Tap the Add (+) icon .
If you're signed in to several accounts, select the account to which you want to save the contact.
Add the contact details, and tap Save icon. Note that your contacts are backed up automatically to your Microsoft account.

  • Nokia email won't synch now !

I started using nokia.email successfully a few hours ago and all seemed well....
However, the synch function will not synch now to my gmail !!
I know there are emails waiting to be synched (I can see new emails on my laptop gmail), also I have a few emails on my phone witing in OUTBOX to be sent..
I have checked the following :-
    - on the nokia.email panel, I have checked the settings-->when to synch-->sent and receive (set to soonest)
    - under General-->service info-->access point--> set to my GPRS server.
    - my GPRS is active....
But, I still cannot synch !!!!!
I am loading my gun again...  :-(
    Please help..
    Harry

    Hello FranzFanke,
I tried what you suggested... and no success. This is what happened...
I went to 'Options' on the screen where it has [gmail : compose: synch: settings].
I noticed I was already ONLINE, as the option further down was for 'Go Offline'. STRANGE !!!
So then I went into 'Connection info' to check whats going on... and I noticed the following :
    -connection mode:
      Offline Mode
    -Connection status:
      Connection inactive
    - Last Synch:
7/4/2007   7:02am    (my last attempt to synch a few minutes ago)
    - Last synch status:
      Synch failed
    -Last successful sync:
6/4/2009   10:53pm ( this was indeed my last successful synch which was last night before the synching stopped working)
***So... looks like you are right in that the connection is Offline, but my GPRS is active, I see the 'E' and the double arrows indicating I have GPRS.
I also tried to toggle the 'Go offline' to 'Go online' --> then 'Go offine' then 'Go online'... but the Connection info ALWAYS stayed as 'Offline mode' !!!!
So, I checked the 'Active Data connections' (under menu-->connectivity-->connection manager-->Active data connections-->options-->details).. and this says that my packet data is connected (inactive)...
    So... I am lost !!!
What do you think is going on ?
I also rebooted a few times... done what I could to kick-start the connection for synching... but no success !!
    Please help.
    Thanks
    Harry

  • Nokia Messaging Not Synching all message ?

    Hi -
I have been synching my googlemail account with my Nokia E63 without any problems for some time.  However, when I look now - none of my messages are there from  between the 16th June and 23rd June?
    I have messages from 9, 10th, 11th, 12, 13, 16th June - but not the ones from 20th, 21st, and 22nd.  Then they are there again for 23rd, 24th etc.
    Why would this be?
The settings are to sync all mail - and to hold for 1 month ?
    Thanks, Elisa.

Check the first message that didn't sync - is there anything unusual about it?  I'd just delete it from GMail and then try a sync again.  Might have to delete one or two messages via the GMail web interface to give it a greater chance of success.

  • Nokia N8 - Synch of Lotus Notes Calender entries

One of the primary reasons I dumped my iPhone and switched to the Nokia N8 is because I believed Nokia phones supported Lotus notes synchronization. I was shocked to find that OVISuite hasn't this capability. I don't intend to use the Lotus Traveller because our company allows the Traveller only on Blackberrys. I desperately need the capability to synch my calender even if I do not have the possibility to synch mail. Has anybody figued a way out of this? Desparate!
There is a running post under the "OVI Suite" topic about this problem. Since nobody seems to have an answer there, I am posting also under the Nseries topic.

I've been having the same issues, new Nokia n8, cant sync anything to Lotus Notes 8.5.2 using OVO suite 2.x and cant sync to PC Suite either (un-supported device).
(although i was able to configure pop for Notes mail, but i needed full pim, contacts, calendar etc.)
I started looking at Lotus Notes Traveler 8.5.2 , and was disapointed that the Nokia N8 wasn't listed as a supported device, buy I tried it anyway (easy for my as i manage my own domino environment) and the results are in...
Using an Over the Air The Connection (OTA) , Domino recongised my Nokia N8 as a S60 device, allowed me to download the installer and configure. I can confirm that Traveler definatley works on the Nokia N8, and everything seems fine.
Notes Traveler is free to IBM customers who have a current Domino server license, and the software can be downloaded from the IBM passport advantage site.
If you need any help or further information , let me know.
    Cheers, Alan

  • Nokia PC Suite: Can't synch with Outlook

Windows XP  SP2  (this is work PC, so no SP3, sorry)
    Nokia PC Suite  7.1.18.0
    Phone Nokia 6102i
    Microsoft Outlook 2003
    Hello all,
I have used the Nokia PC Suite to successfully synch my phone with Outlook Calendar and contacts successfully for several months.  Now, out of the blue, I get an incomplete synchronization with a warning message.  The warning message is rather indescript, "Microsoft Outlook."
I have tried reinstalling the app, same problem.  I have not reinstalled Outlook, because that involves IT intervention.  I will do this if I must.  However, considering many setting files are not wiped, I don't feel a high likelihood of success.
I thought perhaps an Outlook file became corrupted.  But I have no idea where to start.
    Any suggestions or ideas?

I don't know where to find my log file to attach it.

I met similar problems. I have used pc suite to synchronize my outlook2003 calendar and task with my Nokia E71 for several months. suddenly I could not do that with message that "your personal address book could not be opened, which is either not accessable or not available". I tried many ways with my outlook. no luck. Microsoft and Nokia support center could not answer my question.

  • Nokia N95 i-cal synching issue

I have latest isynch and downloaded the patch from nokia and have successfully synched my phone and ical/contacts (I was using calendar on phone not i-cal)
However, for some reason, it has deleted my old calendar appointments w/c 19 May (when I started using the calendar on my phone) to 5 July on my phone though they are now safely imported into my i-cal.
I did not want it to do this. I have looked through the i-synch options and there do not seem to be any options that wold have caused this.
    Can anyone help please?
    Thanks
    Jenni

    Hi Jenny
Can you tell me how you got your N95 to sync with iCal/contacts? I am going mad here trying to get mine to do that. I have the latest download from nokia and isync and everytime i try to find the phone it just says isync can't support this phone. Any help would be welcome

  • Nokia Messaging Synch Problems

About 7 days ago NM stopped synching my 4 email accounts (2x Gmail, 1x Yahoo 1x Hotmail). I reinstalled the NM software and made sure I had the latest firmware. Eventually after about 2 days NM started synching again. (sent email to Nokia support and it miraculously started within 30 minutes, even though they never responded to the email) However despite having the "remove older than" set at 1 month it only displays the current day and 3 previous days messages.  I have repeatedly reinstalled the the software but with no success.
Have Nokia restricted us to 3 days of emails only ?
Can anyone help with this issue ?
    Solved!

Messaging is a hit and miss product that is still very much Beta.  It has frequent downtimes.  You probably want a backup plan for getting and sending email.  My plan was to switch to a non Nokia product.

    Hi,
I'm quite irritated with email client of the touch devices is different than the client on my E71.
When an email is read, then no status is synched to the mail server. Even when I delete an email, it doesn't occur on the server.
When are you going to updat the email client on the touch devices? The strange thing is, that there is an option in the settings that status read --> Sync with server.
    Can you update me?
    Thanks,
    Tahir

    Update:
If I do the following I can sync again:
    Options
    Tools
    Access Point
Change from "Internet" to another access point
    OK
    Access Point
    Change back to "Internet"
    OK
    Options
    Send/receive
Everything in order again. Lets see how long this lasts :-)

  • Nokia e61i WHERE'S SYNCHED TODO'S CONTENT ON PHONE...

i HAVE MANY TODO'S ON MY NOTE, NOW I SYNCH IT WITH MY NEW e61I AND TELL ME, WHERE CAN I FIND THE CONTENT OF TODO'S???
There are no point "add discription" in todo's, why? May be it's Russian FW bug or what? Please help me! The same "todo" content easily opens on N76, when i sent it there by BT!!!

The audio player in Windows Phone does not have an off switch. You can pause playback it and will sit there doing nothing until you press pause again to continue or select to play another track. Like it or not, that's the way it is.
You can use the suggested app to remove the player and 'Stop The Music..'
Click on the blue Star Icon below if my advice has helped you or press the 'Accept As Solution' link if I solved your problem..

  • Nokia PC Sync BUG: Contact details not synched to ...

    Outlook 2003: 11.8217.8221 SP3
Nokia N85 Updated to OS 11.047
looks like the fields aren't mapped correctly or at all. I can't modify the nokia phone book to add "internet telephone" fields, or safely back up ANY of the "internet telephone" fields from nokia to Outlook.
I rely on the "internet telephone" fields for my VoIP/SIP communications.
Please fix and update the software!

    Hi pauldee,
Its mapped but not very user friendly. Once sync is over you can see view last report of Nokia PC Sync. In that you can see that Internet telephone is mapped to User field. This you can find in Outlook in
Select a contact which has got internet telephone, In Contact options like General Details Activities Certificates and All fields-> Select from -> Select All contact fields from drop down list. There you can see the User field 1, 2 and so on , in this option you can view your internet telephone field Hope it may help you
