Synch of iPhone 6 Plus to Macbook

I am running OS X Yosemite 10.10 on my Macbook Pro, but my calandars from my new iPhone 6 Plus do not synch as my old iPhone 4s did with my previous OS on the Macbook.
Can someone help an old lady?
Thanks

Sadly, it looks like I'm going to have to switch to a Ssmsung Note 4.
I'm tired of waiting for the friggen 6 plus to get in stock. I'm gaddam tired of always having to wait. 6 gaddam weeks is just too friggen long for me. Adios iPhone. I wish I didn't have to switch.
Why do you feel the need to update to the iPhone 6 Plus?  How has your life been negatively impacted by not owning an iPhone 6 Plus?

  • Synching two iphones to one MacBook

I am having trouble. I had registered and synched my iphone to a laptop I no longer use. I recently purchased a Macbook and went to set up two users for two iphones. I was able to create the second user on the computer however, the second user is not able to access the internet. I have a wireless internet card and when I switch to the second user, I am not able to access the internet. What do I need to do to give access to the second user so they can register and set up their iphone?

Thanks everyone, I think it was an issue with the phone which i turned off and on and now it seems ok.
sorry , perhaps i should have tried this first!
thanks for taking the time to answer my questions

  • SHOULD I SYNCH MY IPHONE TO MY MACBOOK

I HAVE A 4S THAT SEEMS TO HAVE AN ISSUE WITH STORAGE. IT STATES I HAVE 9.3GB OF PHOTOS, BUT THERE IS NO WAY THAT IS CORRECT. EVERYONE I KNOW WITH AN IPHONE HAS TRIPLE THE AMOUNT OF PHOTOS, VIDEOS, AND APPS I HAVE, IF NOT MORE.  IT WON'T ALLOW ME TO TAKE A PICTURE, STATING THERE IS NOT ENOUGH STORAGE LEFT. I FINALLY GAVE IN AND STARTED USING iCLOUD FOR STORING PICS I TAKE, BUT IT ONLY STORES THE PICS FROM THE DATE I TURNED IT ON.  IT DOESN'T SAVE THE PICS FROM MY CAMERA ROLL THAT WERE TAKEN BEFORE THEN.  I THEN DECIDED TO JUST GIVE IN AND ALLOW ALL PHOTOS & DOCUMENTS & DATA TO BE SAVED TO iCLOUD.  BUT NOW IT STATES THERE IS NOT ENOUGH SPACE TO BACKUP THIS DEVICE BECAUSE I ONLY HAVE THE FREE 5GB STORAGE IN iCLOUD. AND SINCE THE PHONE THINKS IT'S GOT 9.3GB OF PHOTOS, I HAVE TO PURCHASE MORE iCLOUD STORAGE TO BACKUP MY PHONE. I'M ONE OF THOSE THAT LOVES THE TECHNOLOGY, BUT AM STILL UNCOMFORTABLE WITH ASSOCIATING ALL MY PERSONAL INFO IN ONE PLACE, SUCH AS EMAIL, ONLINE ACCTS, ETC. SO I DON'T EVEN USE EMAIL ON MY PHONE, FACEBOOK, TWITTER...NOTHING. WILL IT HELP MY STORAGE ISSUE IF I PLUG MY PHONE INTO MY MACBOOK? IF SO, HOW & WHAT DO I DO & WHAT IS REQUIRED IN MY SETTINGS TO DO THIS CORRECTLY?  THANKS, I KNOW THAT WAS LENGTHY BUT I DON'T WANT TO SHORT INFO AND GET HELP THAT IN FACT WON'T HELP!
    I'VE GOT THE 16GB 4s.

Firstly, all caps is considering yelling and that's impolite.
Secondly, storing your pictures and videos on your computer seems to be the way to go here.
Use this article for a step by step guide. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083
Also, you may want to try one of these: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137
I would do the backup/restore AFTER importing the photos/videos though.

  • How do I sync my iPhone to my MacBook without having to erase everything?

    Hi,
I've had my iPhone for a little over a year now, and it used to be synced with a PC desktop. This summer, I got a MacBook Pro, and moved my iTunes library over to the MacBook using an external hard drive (which I struggled with - I lost all my playlists and a couple dozen songs, but I've sort of figured it out). But I still haven't synched my iPhone to my MacBook yet. I'm in college, so I decided that when I came home, I would try and sync it, because just in case anything goes wrong, I would be at home where the desktop is.
So I homeshared a couple of albums with my sister onto my MacBook, and when I tried to sync my iPhone to my MacBook, it told me that I would have to erase everything to be able to sync it to that computer.
I called Apple and talked to them (with little success) about how to avoid erasing everything, but they said I don't have many options, and that the iTunes back up only backs up "iTunes purchases." Obviously, all my music isn't purchased on iTunes, so I really don't want to lose half of my iTunes library.
My problem is that I can't figure out how to be able to sync my iPhone to my MacBook without erasing everything. I'm not able to come home frequently enough to be able to get new music onto my MacBook, homeshare it with the desktop, and then sync my iPhone to the desktop. Especially after I graduate, I really don't want to be tied down to the desktop at my parent's house.
How can I fix this? The Apple guy said that Apple products are "monogomous" - they only like to be synched to one computer. How can I switch computers without losing everything on my iPhone?
    Please help!

  • My iPhone is now synched with a genius bar macbook!

    Hi all,
I have an iPhone 4s 32Gb which until recently was synched with iTunes on my Macbook Pro, however I had an appointment at a Genius Bar due to no 3G after switching to EE, the guy very quickly sorted the issue out, due to an Onovo Profile, but since then it says it is synced with a Genius Bar iTunes!
What are my options please guys? I am on iOS 7 and was really going to upgrade to iOS8 due to screen size, battery performance etc.
    Thanks in advance

  • Ical events will not synch from iphone to macbook

    Hello
I'm from switzerland and have a Iphone 4 with software version 6.0.1 and a macbook pro version 10.6.8, so no iCloud available yet.
I never had problem to synch my iCal via iTunes from iphone to my macbook but now it doesn't work. No error, nothing... Simply no events I made or changed on my iphone appear in my ical on the mac. iTunes is also the newest version and everthing is correctly set in iTunes (crosses in the correct boxes and no crosses on the bottom options). It also shows that it synch the calender, but it doesn't.
The first time today I tried to synch it even erased all my new events on the iphone and took over all events from my iCal on the mac.
Any idea how to fix this?
    Best regards
    LadyShiva

    Hello Sunil Gubbi,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
From your post I understand that you'd like to know on how to access your files on iCloud Drive.  Please take a look at the information below on how to access the files.
You can access your files in iCloud Drive any of these ways:
Using any supported web browser, you can go to iCloud Drive or iWork for iCloud beta at iCloud.com. In iWork for iCloud beta, you can find your Pages, Numbers, and Keynote files.
On your Mac with OS X Yosemite, you can go to iCloud Drive in Finder.
On your PC with Windows 7 or later and iCloud for Windows 4.0, you can go to iCloud Drive in File Explorer.
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 8, you can access your files from Apple apps like Pages, Numbers, and Keynote, or any apps that support iCloud Drive.

  • Macbook pro outlook contacts not synching with IPhone 6.  Turned off cloud.

I traded in an Iphone 4 for an Iphone 6.  MacBook Pro (outlook 2011 contacts) did sync perfectly with iPhone 4.   Not able to synch contacts with iPhone 6.  (did turn off cloud functionality) . Thanks for your reply.

  • Is there a way to synch an iphone to a new computer without losing contacts, music, and apps?  New HD on my macbook, never been synched with any other devices.  Thanks

Is there a way to sync an iphone to a computer that has a new hard drive without losing all the songs, apps, contacts, etc?  The computer has iTunes downloaded, but no device has ever been synched to it.  Sorry if this has been posted before, but if anyone could point me to the steps that I need to take it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for your quick response...we don't have a copy of the old computer...Hard drive died one morning, I now have learned the hard way that what we did was really dumb, and am backing everything up  .  We were told that if we synched it with a computer that didn't have a library yet it would be ok?
The procedures that I have been able to get online:
    1. Go to Itunes library without phone connected
    2. disable automatic synching for iphone
    3. Connect iphone, back up
    4. then synch
    What do you think?

  • I can't synch my iPhone with iTunes because the device does not show up in a device window when I plug it in...it's missing in action and thus I'm not able to add any content from the iTunes to my iPhone, e.g. podcasts

I can't synch my iPhone with iTunes because the device does not show up in a device window when I plug it in...it's missing in action and thus I'm not able to add any content from the iTunes to my iPhone, e.g. podcasts.   All the instructions on synching start with "find your device in the device window".  But what if you have no device window?

Missing "message" from above: The iPad "DGMTR" is synced with another iTunes library on DGMTR's MacBook Pro. Do you want to erase this iPad and sync with this iTunes library? An iPad can be synched with only one iTunes library at a time. Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this iTunes library.
I thought the libraries were the same.

  • I need to synch my iphone, ipod touch and classic to a Mac that I have and 2 I am about to buy. I have legally paid for all my music. If I use migration on my new Macs and clone the original, can I use my iAppliances on all 3 Macs?

    Yes.
You can authorize up to 5 computers to play itunes music ( pre-itunes plus).  There is no limit on itunes plus ( all itunes music for the past several years) and imported music.
You can sync as many ipods/ipads/iphones as you like to each of your computers.

  • When synching my IPhone 3Gs I now get a sign "Attempting to copy to Disk failed. The required disk cannot be found." This is after synching a new Iphone 4s.. Help!!

When attempting to synch my IPhone 3Gs I now get a sign "Attempting to copy to Disk failed. The required disk cannot be found."
This is after synching a new Iphone 4s and having received some help from Apple Support who assisted with some setting
changes. Unfortunately this was over a protracted period of time and I cannot recall what was changed. Apparently my 3Gs is out of
its warranty and so they cannot help me unless I pay £25....
    Can anyone help??

Well, attempted again today and now my iTunes locks up whenever I select a song! Also, my Volume Mixer on my Windows 7 will not open. Just terrific. Where's my MacBook???????????????

  • How can I synch my Iphone signatures with my mac?

I like to synch my iphone signatures, with thoose from my macbook.
I've arround 20 differnent Signatures for mare than 40 email accounts and I don't like to write all signatures in my iphone. Is it possible to synch them whith my macbook?

If you want to use your phone with your computer, you need to update it to OS X 10.6.8, and iTunes to 11.1. Snow Leopard is US $20 at Apple's online store.
That is, if your Mac meets the requirements for Snow Leopard.
