Synching iphone calendar with ipad

I want to be able to place events on my iphone calender when i am out of house and have them show up on my ipad calender app the one that came with ipad. It appears if I use icloud on my PC and put the event in it gets on both but I want do not have to nter the info on my desktop. I tried ynching the ipad while hooked up to computer but still no events llisted. Do I need to use a third party app for this to happen?

I have a problem synching a Calendar on iPhone with iCal on Mac (Lion 10.7.5) - no matter how many times I perform the Synch in iTunes, the Calendar in my iPhone does not appear in the iCal on my Mac
I recently tried using iCloud with my Calandars but it was a disaster experience as it took two days to synch the calendars with no good result, so I have abandoned iCloud. Synching my iPhone calendars with iCal has been a problem ever since

It appears (per the current iPhone user manual) that one has to "share" events from one's iPhone iCal to one's iCloud iCal, event by event. Do this by selecting the event you want to "share," selecting "Edit," then scroll down to "Calendars," select that and then select the calendar to which you wish to TRANSFER the event.
You may also simply select "Calendar" when viewing the event and TRANSFER it to another calendar via that quicker route.
PS: I have not yet figured out how to enter a new event directly into my iCloud iCal via my iPhone without entering it on my iPhone iCal before I then TRANSFER it.

Hi, firstly there used to be an i messenger where you could connect directly with the support staff to help yo resolve issues, has that service stopped now?
I cant get my calendars to synch, I add something in outlook and I cant get it to my iphone and visa versa... infact my ipad, iphone and pc have different information in the calendars for tomorrow... well today as its 00:40 now! Any ideas?

You want to make sure that you add new events to the iCloud calendar in Outlook. If you add an even to your default Outlook calendar, it will not sych to iCloud. iCloud's calendar and the Outlook default calendars do not synch. Instead, iCloud creates additional calendars in Outlook -- additional calendars that never synch with the Outlook default calendar. So does iCloud "synch" data with Outlook? Not really. A better description would be that iCloud data is visible in Outlook. I keep looking to see if Apple or a third party has fixed this problem, but have found no solutions so far.

Iphone will sync, or manually manage with one and only one computer/library at a time. Syncing, or manually managing, to another will indeed erase the current contents of the iphone and replace with the selected contents of the new comptuer/library
This is how the iphone is designed to work.
You cannot put content from two computers on the iphone.
Put everything on one.

Cloud not synching iPhone 5c with IPad aire

In last two weeks, IPad air and iPhone 5c did synch. Just now some ideas I wrote into the notes on the IPhone DID NOT synch to the IPad Aire. Many new apps do not synch either. Any thought, please ?

If the iPhone is no longer syncing data to icloud.com, add any missing data on your phone to icloud.com, then save your photo stream photos to your camera roll, go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, choose Delete from My iPhone and provide your password when prompted, then after a few seconds sign back in. This will delete the account and your iCloud data from your phone but not from iCloud. Your data will reappear on your phone when you sign back in.

Since you're using SL, you should be able to sync using iSync application or iTunes. I'm not familiar with it, but I know it can be done.
And yes, if you install Lion and use iCloud, you will be able to sync iCal between all devices. Once set up, whatever change made on one automatically updates the other. Same for AddressBook.

An iCloud email account is an IMAP account. With an IMAP account, all server stored mailboxes are kept synchronized with the server with each email client used to access the account. Unless you have changed the Mailbox Behaviors with the account settings on each device, the account's Drafts, Sent Mailbox, and Deleted Mailbox are stored on the server with each device. Any user created mailboxes are also stored on the server.
On each device, go to Settings > iCloud. Contacts and Calendars need to be turned on for over the air syncing.

- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers

- For one user uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes resolved the problem
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem

Your email address can be taken off your iphone too and then imessages to your number will go to your iphone only and imessages to you email address will go to your ipad only
