Synching Photos from Computer - deleting all apps?
I want to synch photos from my computer to my new iPad for the first time. When I choose "synching photos" and go to "apply" I get a Message that all apps on my iPad will be deleted. I don't understand the connection to the apps. How do I get around that? Thanks for any assistance.
Connect you iPad to your computer and launch iTunes. Then from the iTunes menu at the top go to File>Transfer Purchases. This will place all of your purchased content - apps, media, songs, etc, into your iTunes Library on the computer.
Then click on the Apps Tab in iTunes on the right, Check the box next to Sync Apps, then make sure that you check the boxes next to all of the apps that you want to keep on the iPad, Go through all of the other tabs in the iTunes window and make sure you select all of the other content that you want to sync - and remember to check the headings (Sync Music, Sync Movies, etc).
Click on apply and all of the content that you chose to sycn will now be on the iPad.

You need to obtain the synced photos from where you obtained them the first time. Synced media like apps, music and synced photos are not included in the backup that iTunes makes as the first step of an update or restore.

You can transfer itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
Copy everything from your backup copy of your old computer to your new one. -
How do I get more space to update my iPhone 4 to iOS7? I am currently on iOS 6.1.3 with 6.3 GB capacity, 1.4 GB available AFTER deleting all apps, photos, music, and videos, and I need 3.8 GB.
Update using iTunes on your computer. The space requirement does not apply because of how the process works via iTunes as opposed to over the air.

You will need to connect your iPad to your computer, and on the Photos tab de-select those folders that you no longer want on the iPad - they can't be deleted directly on the iPad. If you no longer want any synced photos on your iPad then you can select and sync just an empty folder.

Synching Photos from Another Computer to AppleTV
Hi all! I'm running iTunes 7.3.1, which is supposed to feature the ability to synch photos from a different computer to your AppleTV, only I can't figure out how.
I'm running two Powerbooks. One has my iTunes library and one has all my photos. Is it possible from the source list in iTunes on Powerbook A to synch photos onto my AppleTV from Powerbook B?
Thanks!If you have photos on the old iPad in your Camera Roll I would copy the ones you want to save to your computer. Ten I would sync the new iPad to your computer to have all the photos, music and other stuff on your new pad that you want.

Yesterday I was able to take photos but around 9pm last night my rear camera stop working. I have reseted my phone and have also restored it and the camera still is not working. Also I have deleted all apps that can have access to the camera and i have updated the new IOS.What else should I do ? Is this a hardware problem?

I loaded my ipad photos from camera and all the pictures sorted by date. I later sync my ipad with my computer and the photos were all reorganized into IMPRT folders an out of date sequence. Any idea how to put the photos back into date files other than reloading all of them from camera?
What version of iPhoto?
Select one and rotate it. Then rotate it back. Does that make it appear?
A much better work flow is the keep the photos after importing. Check the success the import, wait for at least one successful backup cycle then use you camera's format command to reformat the card

Why my apps are not transferring from PC to iPhone 5? When I connected to PC the icon shows when I select apps it show 'will install' but it never show on iPhone, I re installed iTunes, deleted all apps and downloaded again but its not working pls help.
Next time an app update gets stuck try a reset. Press and hold both the home and power buttons for10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Then release both buttons. Wait till your iPad starts on it's own. Try now. Also YouTube is still available. If you can't find it the the app store go to the bottom of the app store page and tap purchased. All your deleted apps will be listed and you can reinstall YouTube from there.

I successfully synched photos from my mac book iphoto to my new iphone 5 (icloud did not do the job). Now these photos appear on my phone in three places--iphoto app, last import, and photo library. Does that mean that they take up three times the memory? Will that affect iCloud? Sorry for the end-user questions!!
HHi, thank you for the reply. I have checked my iPad and iPhone and neither has iCloud Photo Library (Beta) enabled. Turned off in both. Photostream is turned on.
i tried to sort it out by dragging all the photos to Events on the Mac and then deleting them from iCloud - (left hand side of iPhoto under the section 'Shared'). the photos now show up in Events. I did force quit but the issue remains. The message reads ' photos are bing imported to the library. Please wait for import to complete.'
i can't empty iPhoto trash either. The message read "Delete error. Please wait for import to complete.'
WHen I was moving the photos to the Events I always had a message about duplicates - to the effect that the photos already existed, did I want to import them? I clicked on Yes, import all duplicates. But when it showed the images - duplicates side by side - one showed the photo and the other was blank.
I really don't know what to do! And I don't know how to handle my iOS devices. Is it to do with the large number of photos? Any help, advice appreciated. -

I clicked on the applications tab, and almost all my apps were unselected. I let it finish, and when it was done, I only had about 10 apps left. I reconnected it to the computer and selected one more app to put on my ipod, and it didn't bring all the saved data with it. I have now lost a years worth of stuff. I tried restoring from backup, but the latest backup was from after it deleted all apps. Anyone know how I can get all my saved data back to my ipod? Also, why would it get rid of all those apps. I know I didn't deselect them.

I reloaded iTunes 10 (64 bit) successfully, but the problem remains the same.
Any suggestions?I looked in the folder from which I want to synch photos, but there is no such thing as an "ipod photo cache" in that folder, or sub-folders, as suggested in the link which you were nice enough to provide.
I have also tried removing photos from my iPad2 Photos App, and "iTunes has stopped working" shows up again as soon as I click on the "Synch photos from" button. -
Can't import photos from computer to my phone
I have recently updated my q10 to the 10 OS (10.2.1.2977) and also my desktop support to blackberry link. I am able to sync and import music, documents, videos etc. but when attempting to sync pictures I am faced with a sign that says loading sync relationships or it says sync currently not available. All the instructions on the internet demonstrate a different blackberry link to the one I have, I have the newest version of blackberry link.
