Synchonize cusotmer master data from SAP R/3 to CRM

Dear Sir,
My SAP R/3 is ECC6 , but my crm is CRM5.0
I have the question that I would like to synchonizat data ( field in Sales Area data : Sales district, Sales Office , Sales group, customer group ) in R/3 and link to CRM ?
Where can i find these fields in CRM??  and  where can I find the mark for delete for customer master data field in CRm Please kindly advise
THank you and best regards,
Vimol

Hi Vimol.
If the CRM and ECC are all connected (like RFC's/logical systems/...) for synchronizing the data you need to do the initial loads. SAP has different objects for different data loads. Please follow B09_BB_ConfigGuide_EN_US(CRM Replication) for the same.
Hope this helps,
Karuna.

  • Loading Master Data from SAP R/3

    Hi Friends.,
I'm going to load master data from SAP R/3 FI Modules to BW, but what do these objects mean by ?
    0LOGSYS - Source System
    0SOURSYSTEM - Source system ID
I'mn't understanding clearly, and also transfer rules aren't mapped properly.
can anybody clarify these things ?
    Regards.,
    Balaji K. Reddy

    Hi Balaji,
You need to use these objects when your BW is feed by different source system and you want to map differences beetween Master and Transactional Data fed by the different systems (different R/3 - Flat File - Legacy Systems - ...).
If you do not have this situation you can avoid to use these objects (probably you find these objects in Tab compound of your MD).
    Ciao.

  • BPC Error while loading master data from SAP BW

    Hello Guru,
I have NW BPC 7.5 installed on BW server. Currently i have started to work on one application where i have to load master data first. I am loading master data for cost center.
I looked into the process chain "BPC: Import BW InfoObject master data" and i found that few processes are  in GREEN color and few are in RED color (Display). is that correct or not ? then as per some of the thread i went to "BPC: Convert BW infoObject master data" --> SOURCE_TYPE = IP  and added one parameter "FORMULA_FILE_NO". Then i saved this process chain and activated it.
I created transformation file in BPC and it got created successfully but while i try to load packages it throws me error.
    Q. Do i need to have entire process chain with all processes in GREEN to have the master data in BPC ?
    Q. Do i need to activate any BADI's for this or not ?
I appreciate your help in advance. I trie

  • Master Data from SAP BW to APO BW

    HI Guys,
I have master data (0Material, 0Customer etc) coming into BW from ECC. Now, I need to pull this master data from BW to APO BW system. I will appreciate if any one could let me know the best way to pull this master data into APO BW system and how will we do that?
    Thanks,
    Manmit

    Hi Manmit,
It is just like pulling data from R3,u need to have a RFC connection between APO  and BW .....Which will be done by the basis.
Then trigger the data from APO to BW like u do for R3 or you can use REMOTE process chain to trigger the PC from APO itself depending on the requirement.
If u trigger the PC in BW,the data will flow to APO-BW and can be Viceversa and like any other PC it can be scheduled.
    RSPC>processchainsTools>General Services-->Remote Process Chains.
We have give some conditions here...
YOu can seach the FORUM for REMOTE PCs and its applications.

  • Demo - Extraction of Customer Master Data from SAP R/3 ECC6 to MDM5.5

    Hello,
I am new to MDM . Would appreciate if someone can give a solution to the below request.
We are doing a demo project in our Company to extract all the master data related to SALES cycle. We are doing an extraction of Customer Master Data. Currently we have the unlicensed version of MDM and very soon we will get the licensed version.
We have the Customer Master Repository created in MDM Console. The IDOC type we are using is DEBMDM05.
Is there a easy way to map the fields of IDOC to the MDM Repository. Right now we are doing a manual process of comparing the IDOC fields and MDM Repo in an excel but this is tedious and time consuming.
Can anyone suggest an easier way to identify so that we know which fields match correctly.
    Thanks
    Leena

    Hi Leena,
First of all you have 2 options to generate IDOCs from SAP R/3 system
    1.mdmgx>one IDoc per record
2.mdm_clnt_extr>for generating single IDoc having entire set of records.
Secondly,if you want to get the data mapped automatically, you should use standard maps provided by SAP(Business Content).
If at all you have created new fields then you should manually map those fields.
If any other queries pl ask
    Reward points if found useful
    Regards,
    Pramod.

  • UPLOAD MASTER DATA FROM SAP GL TO ACCOUNT DIMENSION

    hi
how can i upload master data (chart of account) from BW 0GL account info object to BPC Account Dimension ?
how can i upload the hierarchy, there is no hierarchy in ECC for the chart of account

SAP offers free content + documentation in the form of rapid-deployment solutions (RDS).
In the Extended Financial Planning Rapid-deployment solution, there is a module called G/L Financial Planning which includes the full load of SAP-based account dimension from SAP ERP to BPC via BW. This content introduces BPC-based Package Links as a best practice way to load master data (including the account hierarchy and transaction data).  You can download the content and documentation from the highlighted page above or HERE.
SAP also offers free training on the EPM rapid-deployment solutions in the EPM RDS Academy 2015 on SAP JAM. If the link to the Academy does not work, please register HERE and SAP will invite you.

  • Send changes of Artical master data from sap to nonsap (idoc outbound prog)

    Hi Experts,
    I am  new to interfaces
I have one requirement in Idocs, i.e the changes of artical master data is send to sap to nonsap system through idoc.
idoc type is ARTMAS05, msg typ is ARTMAS.
I am giving some information for my object.
For article (MATNR) by site (WERKS plant)
         If MRP Type (MARC-DISMM) = u201CX0u201D
              Then if changes to fields:
              MARC-KZAUS     Discontinuation ind.
              MARC-AUSDT     Effective date out
              MARC-NFMAT     Follow-up article
Then send idoc type ARTMAS05 with the following data
    segment E1BPE1MATHEAD
         MATERIAL
    segment E1BPE1MARCRT
    MATERIAL             PLANT                     DISCONTINU
    EFF_O_DAY            FOLLOW_UP
    Systems Referred to:
The planning system for our client is nonsap system. This software requires to be informed of relevant changes on articles in order to start its planning runs. When an article is superseded by another we have to send the replacement article (if any) as well as the discontinuation date.
    Dependencies/Prerequisites :
Change pointers for Article master active
         Change pointers active for fields:
         MARC-KZAUS      Discontinuation indicator
         MARC-AUSDT     Effective date out
         MARC-NFMAT     Follow-up article
Idoc ARTMAS05 required with reduction in order to only send relevant fields
Filter to only send idocs for materials in the u201CAutomotiveu201D type where MARC-DISMM = u201CX0u201D.
So this is my requirement, please send some sample code or idea how to complete object.
    with regards,
    gs reddy.

    Hi,
All the details mentioned seems to be correct.
just change one "automotive" material and check change documents are getting generated.
i hope partner profiles are already in place.
once change docuements are inpalce check RBDMIDOC program is scheduled in back ground or you can manually execute the program for testing.
    and check the IDoc generated.
do you  want supress some segements?
di your NOn-sap ssytem can accept Idoc?

  • To Replicate Material DATA from SAP R/3 to SAP-BW

    Hello,
I need the Material Master data from SAP R/3 in SAP BW. The material Data is to to moved in Info object: 0MATERIAL. In SAP R/3 the data for material is stored in table:MARA. Which Business content needs to be activated in BW.
Please give the step by step method to push this data from R/3 to BW.
What are the pre-requisites for the same.
    Thanks for the information.
    Regards,
    Sumita

    Hi
If you want to get data for material...
go to R/3 Side and tcode  rsa5>find for 0material>you will get 0material_attr,0material_text and some hierarchy ..
    Activate these data sources...
Goto BW side transaction RSA1-->replicate the data sources....
Go to Business content tab of the RSA1-->take grouping as 'in data flow before'
and select object type as info object in the left pane, find for 0material object.
drag and drop to right pane...click on install...now your 3 data sources(0material_attr and 0material_text and hierarchy will be assigned to 0material)..now you can create infopackage and load data(it is master data only)...
If you want to load transactional data, first of all you need to find out the cube and data sources to be loaded...once you find out your data sources,do same as above in r/3 side..and bw side take your required infocube as same as above...
If you want to get data specifically from mara table,Create a generic data source on table mara...
RSO2-->data source type transactional>give name and then click on create-->give description and application component to which this belongs to and give the name of the table(mara in table field) and then click on save...your generic data source is ready...go to rsa6 and there you can choose required fields for selection..
Then go to bw create infosource, cube and assign all these and load data...
    Hope it helps
    Thanks
    Teja

  • Set up for Extraction the data from SAP ECC system

    Hi!
I would like to analyze the transaction and master data from SAP ECC system into SAP BI system.
I have created the connection (entry for SAP ECC system) within SAP NetWeaver System.
Unfortunately when I try to load the transaction data for Info source the process does not end successfully.
There are no information within SM58 on source system.
The ST22 does not contain some suitable information.
    Question:
Which settings do I miss and how can solve my problem?
    (user authorization, etc.)
    Thank you very much!
    regards
    Holger

    Hi!
    many thanks for your reply.
    The error I get:
Errors while sending packages from OLTP to BI
    Diagnosis
No IDocs could be sent to BI using RFC.
    System Response
There are IDocs in the source system ALE outbox that did not arrive in the ALE inbox of BI.
    Further analysis:
    Check the TRFC log.
You can access this log using the wizard or the menu path "Environment -> Transact. RFC -> In source system".
    Error handling:
If the TRFC is incorrect, check whether the source system is fully connected to BI. In particular, check the authorizations of the background user in the source
Can you please help me to identify the error?
    Thank you!

  • Data (Master Data Changes and Transaction Data) from SAP BW to SAP BPC 5.1

    Hi guys
I have seen posts on this forum describing data transfers from SAP R/3 to SAP BPC. I assume the procedure for data transfers from SAP BW to SAP BPC 5.1 should be the same i.e. using SSIS packages.
However I have some unique requirements -
    1. DATA AT DIFFERENT AGGREGATED LEVELS - I need data from SAP BW at different levels - Some data comes at Product level while other at Customer level and some at Project Level. The current procedure takes BW queries output in excel sheets (6 files) and then use the data manager package to load the data in SAP BPC 5.1 using appropriate transformation and conversion files. This procedure is highly manual and I am looking at using SSIS package to do this. However, because of having data at different levels, it becomes a little tricky. How can we achieve this using SSIS?
    2. UPDATING MASTER DATA - I need to update the master data (dimension members) in SAP BPC 5.1 at the start of every month. The current procedure compares (in MS ACCESS) the data from the queries mentioned in 1 to the dimension members in SAP BPC 5.1 and spits a file with the new entries which needs to be manually updated in the appropriate dimensions using Admin Console. I am looking at automating this task. I cannot just replace all the contents of a dimension with the members coming from SAP BW since the dimension members contains some dummy members which are used for planning.
    3. HIERARCHY CHANGES - What is the best way to capture the hierarchy changes in SAP BW into SAP BPC 5.1?
    Please advise.
    Thanks,
    Ameya Kulkarni

    Hi Ameya,
how did you solve the described problems? Can you give some hints about uploading master data and updating the hierarchy?
