Synchronisation error code 8393f010??

Hi!
I just got N97 and tryied to synchronisize it with Nokia Ovi Suite 2.2...(newest one) and it gave me that error code. There are contacts etc from my N95 and I'd like to transfer those from ovi suite to N97. And of course the maps etc at some point.
I have no problems with n95. And the Ovi suite does recognize the new phone. I was able to synchronisize songs but that's it. Everything else fails.
I have now transferred contacts etc from n95 with bluetooth but it would be nice to get the ovi suite working as well. Any suggestions?

Error Code 18500 Cannot synchronise mail record to the server.

When syncronising my exchange account from the server to my Imac i get the errror code only on some items which states"Cannot syncronise the mail record to the exchange server. Error code 18500"

I had this problem with hotmail all day on the 14th of Aug (2013). I "reset" my phone after having powered off, rebooted, deleting the account and restoring it. The "reset" involved having to go through everything to be sure all of my non "default" settings were set back the way I wanted them. None of the "fixes" work, however, magically, overnight hotmail came back.
Now it is after 11:00 am mountain time, Aug 15th, and the problem is here again. This time, I will sit tight and wait for Microsoft to get their act together. The original message said it was a problem with "Outlook". My Windows computer had the same issue, but that was resolved after a few hours yesterday.

Windows live error code:8501004

I am using Nokia lumia 710 phone. The software is Windows 7.8.
From past few dates there is the problem in synchronising of the windows live account. The error displayed is:
"Windows live Error
There is a problem with the way m.hotmail.com is setup, Contact a support person or your service provider.
error code:8501004."

Since Windows Live is not a part of feature in Windows 7, some required information are needed for us to help you. Are you using Windows Live Mail in Windows Essentials? If you are, try reconfiguring the account by following the steps here on how to
remove and re-add again the account.

I keep getting error code 3 with a fresh sync using AUSST. Help please.

The tool tells me the folder exists at the given path, so i'm using the command correctly.
It's a Windows server, the path is not local to the server, but is set up as the host folder in IIS 7. I can access the website i created for this, and can see the "updates" and further folders that i have created.
I get error code 3 when trying to synchronise, and all it does is delete the folder specified as root.
I run the command like this:
adobeupdateserversetuptool.exe --root="\\server\share\adobe\updates\cc"
then choose option 1 on the menu, which is "fresh synchronisation".
Your choice: 1
Fresh Synchronization chosen.
Folder exists at given root path! All the contents of the folder will be deleted
Enter 'Y' to continue or any other key to exit: y
Could not access the specified path.
AdobeUpdateServerSetupTool returned with code: 3.
"everyone" and "domain computers" has been granted full access to the folder in question, and security inheritance is on.
Any ideas?

Error Code 0x82bc1095 trying to map folders in Address Book synching with MS Outlook 2003 SP3t

Help please. My BB Curve 8900 OS v5 has suddenly stopped synchronising with my MS Outlook 2003 SP3. It gets as far as address book then stops, giving error message " One or more configured folders is not availablr. Update mapping field and try again". Configuring my organiser, when I click on a tab I get another message saying "No available Message stores". I click on OK and get the tabbed page opern but the mapping folders field is empty and greyed out.
If I click on Map Fields, I get another error message "Error encountered. Error code 0x82bc1095"
No synchronisation takes place at all.
I am far from technically minded, say about one step above being a Luddite. Can anyone please advise me?

Thanks for your suggestion, but things have moved since then. I tried swapping my mapisvc by changing the extension to 'old' and running the repair, but this did not recreate a mapisvc.inf file, so I changed the extension back to inf. I also uninstalled Outlook Connector as other threads have suggested.
However another thread suggested resetting the organiser using the reset settings button. I did this, but the DTM will not now let me set up synchronisation with my Outlook. Outlook is shown as an option, along with Yahoo and ASCII.
It just lets me go through the process but does not produce a tick in the appropriate box at the end.
I did tell it to synch with Yahoo to see if it would take and it does, but when I try to change it to Outlook it does not register the change (leaving it as Yahoo). I have to select 'none' to clear the tick.
You can probably tell that I'm useless at this sort of thing and I'm getting very frustrated with the whole thing. I've had numerous problems ever since I upgraded the device software. I think that if I ever get this working again, I will not do anything else.
Hope you can help an old duffer and thanks again for your input.

Hi,
I had this issue while trying to export my contacts to outlook.
Here is what I did to make it works:
- Back up the contacts on my computer ( that creates an .ipd file)
- Delete the contacts from the phone device
-Import the back up file back in the phone device
- then synchronise with outlook.

Update 1:
I tried it with 2 days in the past and 2 in the future. It worked. Seems to be there is a calender item in the future he cannot deal with.
Update 2:
5 days past and 10 future --> same kernel error
Update 3:
Seems to be it was an invitation in the past which I had not declined nor accepted. I accepted the invitation and the next synch the software freezed.
Update 4:
Killed the software process and restarted BB Desktop Software. On startup and connection it freezed again while reading notes calendar????

it could be the sso issue. please ensure
login/accept_sso2_ticket = 1
login/create_sso2_ticket = 2
Restart server after changed and retry.
Is problem persist, kindly ensure
1) post upgrade steps are performed
2) no issue with secstore and strustsso2
3) update kernel to latest level

Error code 8393f011 with ovi suite 2.2.1.23 when s...

The contacts on the phone can be seen in Ovi, but get the error code 8393f011 when trying to synchronise them.
Although with the messages it works ok.
I use Win 7, so PC Suite 4.88 is not an alternative.
There is maybe a setting in the phone avaible to change or what would solve the above issue? Please help!

8900 error code when synchronising to outlook 07

Hi Everyone, I have recently been getting an error message when synchronising to outlook 07 on my 8900.
The error messages appears when it comes to syncing my calendar and comes up with error code 0x80004fceb
Has anyone come across this before?
What it means is that I can't sync my calendar

That error code does not result in anything in the public KB's...are you sure that's the exact code? And is there any other text with it?
Lacking that, I would suggest the following steps (insert plenty of reboots of your PC...not just restarts, but full power down reboots). Also, it is advised that you be logged into the PC on an account with full admin rights. Further, under Vista, use the "Run As Administrator" option for everything.
1) Remove your device OS update package from your PC (add/remove programs)
2) Cleanly uninstall the RIM DTM software:
KB02206 How to perform a clean uninstall of BlackBerry Desktop Software
3) Get a fresh download of the RIM DTM software:
http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/
Choose the version that is newest and (if applicable) compatible with your PIM (if you are synchornizing via USB):
KB12268 Applications supported by BlackBerry Desktop Manager for synchronization
4) Download (to your PC) a fresh copy of your device OS package from your carrier:
http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
5) Install DTM to your PC
6) Install (also to your PC), the device OS package
7) Start the organizer configuration over:

Synchronisation error

I have a Blackberry Torch 9800 and Blackberry Desktop Software 7.0.0.59. Since I upgraded the Desktop Software I get synchronisation problems. Before that I didn't have issues.
When trying to synchronise I get the following error (translated into english, censoring the item):
Synchronisation error
The following repeating event cannot be synchronized.
13-4-2012 - <ItemName>
Remove the event and synchronize again.
I have deleted some items, but then it comes with a new item that cannot be synchronized.
Before the update, I didn't have any problems with synchronizing.

Cannot delete file from external hard drive (error code 36) in Finder, but Terminal is ok

I have a relatively new Macbook Pro Retina 15" and have a Western Digital 1 TB Passport. I've been using the passport for about a year now without any problems on older Macbooks in my house. I used to be able to read and write to this drive no problem. I am using the Paragon NTFS for Mac software in order to read and write to the NTFS drive. When I navigate through the drive in Finder, if I try to create a new folder, I do not have a problem. If I try to delete that folder I just created, I get this error:
The Finder can’t complete the operation because some data in “untitled folder” can’t be read or written.
(Error code -36)
The folder has nothing in it whatsoever. I just created it. But if I go to Terminal and I run
rm -rf "untitled folder"
This works fine. Why is Terminal acting different than Finder? This does not happen on my other Macbooks. Thanks in advance.

Thanx for such qucik reply!!! The pages were great, it had an answer for my problem, but unfortunately it also involved me dealing with it only on the MacIntosh HD itself, not on mounted external drive I suppose... So it didn't work they say that there is an icon in the left corner indicating locked folder - I don't see any icon on it. It says you can untick the box to unlock the folder - there is no tick to be unticked. Finally, they say that if I don't have permition or rights I cannot delete it. But how do i change permittion which already says that i can read and write in it? So everything appears to be normal only I cannot delete it. there is not even any warnig telling me I don't have enough rights, it just requires the password and after me typing it in it makes the sound of scraping paper but does nothing more. I aslo had some problems with emptying Trash after being seemingly succesful with one file and had got so far to have them appear in the Trash (no clue how this one actully got there though..) I followd the advice and emptied the Trash with Terminal. The Folder is still there but it shows 0 Kb... So far so good BUT: It is still on the external drive, so I obviously only managed to copy it into the Trash!!! Phew, innit a bit too tight to poor owners, this macbook?? I want my rights back!

Hm, it looks like the file might be open in another application. If you see that file accesss is intermittently denied, you should try disabling the Microsoft FindFast utility.

There was a recent upadate on my PC, however it does not work. A error code comes up which says, min version is not compatible with max version. And I caanot open my browser. Please help.

I do a system restore which allows me to open my browser. Without this I cannot open my browser - the error code comes up every time.

Do a clean (re)install
* Download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
* Don't remove personal data when uninstalling.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.

Can someone show me how it is possible to save an Oracle defined error code into a variable? What I am trying to do is when a stored procedure fails an Oracle error is raised, such as ORA-xxxx, then pass this code into variable to be saved into a log.
How do I achieve this?
