Synchronisation Error in Outlook

Hello,
we use Oracle Collaboration Suite 10g , Oracle for Oulook Connector and Outlook 2003.
Sometimes I get error messages that a mail could not be synchronized because the mail is not on the server.
Unless I create a new Profile in Outlook I get these message every few minutes. Does someone know how i can stop Outlook from synchonizing these mail again and again without creating a new profile.
Mostly these mails are not important.

Please provide the detailed error information about your issue. According to your thread title, it seems that the issue is related to Autodiscover service. Are you using Exchange server?
Please confirm if the issue happens to all users. If all users are encountering this issue, the issue may be caused by autodiscover service configuration in Exchange server. We need to contact your Exchange administrator to check whether the cpanelemaildiscovery.cpanel.net
is included in the Exchange certificate which is assigned with IIS service.

  • I did the recent update and now itunes no longer works and I get a MobileMe error in Outlook

    I can't get Itunes to work since the latest upgrade and I get an error in outlook about MobileMe.   I tried to reinstall Itunes but there is an error thaere and the program aborts.

    MobileMe was discontinued at the end of June 2012. The control panel should be removed if still present. See HT2992: MobileMe: Uninstalling the MobileMe Control Panel for Windows for details.

  • Error 0x80007114 "Outlook Express could not be started" when trying to run Migration Assitant.

    Trying to run Migration Assistant on a PC (Windows XP).  Error message "Outlook Express could not be started.  The application was unable to initialize the store directory.  Your computer may be out of memory or your disk is full. Contact Microsoft support for further assistance. (0x80007114)"  Then the Migration Assistant shows a box stating that Outlook Express must be stopped before running the assistant. 
    I have enough memory.  The disk is not full.  Outlook Express runs just fine on my PC.  And it was not runing at the time.
    Apple Support (two tries) and my Apple store have essentially said this is a Microsoft problem.  Of course, Microsoft says it is an Apple program failing so it is an Apple problem.
    MS info about the error indicates that it prevents OE from starting.  Than is not my situation at all.  The fix is draconian (as many are) and could risk my OE so I have not gone there - yet.  Hopefully there is another way.
    Does anyone have any experience on how to (easily) solve this dilemma.  I am also trying on the MS side. 
    This is my first MAC.  I was convinced to go Apple by several folks who touted the excellent support.  It was purchased in July 2012 and has been a boat anchor since.  Support??

    So I had this as well.
    I went to the file tab and went to export. From there I picked 720p and it worked. It may be different for you depending on the resolution of the video. hopefully it works for you too!

    I recently moved my outlook directory to a different drive as my C: drive was getting full. 
    Everything went smoothly except for now I cannot send emails from any of my addresses with the error "Sending' reported error (0x8004010F): "Outlook data file cannot be accessed.'" that I've associated with outlook.   Recently I
    uninstalled all of Microsoft Office (student) and reinstalled it on the new drive, still getting the same error.  I've tried following the steps at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2659085/en-us
    but when I go into the Control Panel to click on Mail (in this case Mail (32-bit) even though I run a 64-bit OS), the icon in the control panel is a piece of paper (leading me to believe it's broken) and when I click on it, nothing happens.  I don't
    mean my screen flickers or even thinks about doing anything with the swirly circle cursor... it does absolutely nothing.

    the inbuilt utility of Microsoft called scanpst.exe. It can identify the bug and repair Outlook in minutes of times.

    Everyone running Outlook 2007 or below is absolutely fine. Both internally and externally.
    I would be very grateful if someone could either:
    1) Provide a resolution to this error.  All articles i am reading, even ones assigned as solutions, provide no insight as to the root cause and a clear resolution.
    2) Admit to an issue within Outlook 2010 and advise on possibility of future solution.
    I look forward to any insight on this.  Let's be careful out there ;-)

    Hi,
    According to your narration, first, please make sure this client can resolve the AAM name of the SharePoint server, in addition, make sure the user has enough permission on the list.
    You can use fiddler and netmon together to trace this issue.

  • Synchronisation error

    I have a Blackberry Torch 9800 and Blackberry Desktop Software 7.0.0.59. Since I upgraded the Desktop Software I get synchronisation problems. Before that I didn't have issues.
    When trying to synchronise I get the following error (translated into english, censoring the item):
    Synchronisation error
    The following repeating event cannot be synchronized.
    13-4-2012 - <ItemName> 
    Remove the event and synchronize again.
    I have deleted some items, but then it comes with a new item that cannot be synchronized.
    Before the update, I didn't have any problems with synchronizing.

  • 0x80040600 unknown error in Outlook 2013

    I HAVE REVIEWED OTHER QUESTIONS AND ADVICE ABOUT THIS ERROR. 
    We are seeing a send/receive error in Outlook 2013, details are "Unknown error 0x80040600".  The problem is preventing send and receive of email to certain accounts, while permitting it to other accounts.
    Virtually all questions and all advice found so far relates to earlier versions of Outlook, and the advice for dealing with the error cannot be followed here.  For example, the SCANPST.EXE program does not appear to be on the affected system,
    so we can't repair the PST file as advised.  If a new PST file is created and made default, we cannot import messages from the old file as advised... Outlook will appear to be working for hours on updating it when we mount it and try to
    open it, but will not display any items in it.
    Yesterday, it did this on one of about ten email accounts managed by this Outlook client, the others continued to send/receive just fine.  We eventually restored a backup of the PST file and lost a couple of days of email, but everything worked
    fine again.  Minutes ago, Outlook began reporting the same error with a different account.
    Help please!  Thanks for any advice or ideas.

    First of all, there are three reasons that may cause your problem, as follows:
    1. Your Outlook PST file is damaged or corrupt.
    2. Your Outlook profile is corrupt.
    3. Your Outlook installation or configuration is incorrect.
    To determine the accurate reason, you can do as follows:
    Copy your PST file to another computer with Outlook installed, then start Outlook, then "File" -> "Open" -> "Outlook Data File", to open the PST file.
    If the PST file cannot be opened, or there are some error messages when opening the file, then your PST file is corrupt and you need to go to (SOLUTION A),
    otherwise, if the PST file can be opened without any problems, then your PST file should be healthy and the reason is 2 or 3, you need to go to (SOLUTION B).
    (SOLUTION A): There are a lot of online resources discussing about how to recovering corrupt or damaged PST files.
    First, the Microsoft offical tool scanpst, also called Inbox Repair Tool, can repair the PST file, you can refer the following articles:

    If scanpst fails, then you can use third-party Outlook recovery tools such as
    DataNumen Outlook Repair . It provides a free trial so you can try first to see if it works before purchase it.
    (SOLUTION B) In such a case, you can create a new profile on your original computer, and associate the PST file with that new profile, and then remove the old profile and set the new profile as the default one, then restart your Outlook to see if that works.
    If it still does not work, then your Outlook installation is incorrect and you may need to reinstall Outlook or even Office suite.

  • Synchronising contacts from Outlook

    My Curve 9320 won't synchronise contacts from Outlook.  It is configured to do so (one way, computer to device) and says it is doing it - I get a list of conflicts and choose my computer to override my phone, but then it does not actually make any changes.  Anyone help please?

    I would recommend first backing up all of your data, then clearing the Address Book database on your BlackBerry 9300 smartphone, and then trying the one way synchronization again. This KB article should help you clear your Address Book database. "How to clear the user content databases from the BlackBerry smartphone"  http://bbry.lv/JtQKcw This will remove all current entries from the BlackBerry Curve 9300 smartphone Address Book. Once you have cleared the database, before you try to restore any information from the backup file, can you please try to synchronize again to see if that resolves the issue for you?

    Does PC Suite cope with a corporate setup, i.e., Microsft Outlook with all the data residing in Exchange, or only if all the data is local to the PC

    This would seem to be a problem with the Outlook Profile being used for synchronisation. You could try creating a new Profile as follows:
    1. In Control Panel, double click the Mail icon.
    2. Click Show Profiles, then click Add.
    3. Type in a name for the new profile, then click OK.
    4. Choose the option to "View or change existing e-mail accounts." then click next.
    5. In the E-mail Accounts window click the button called "New Outlook Data File..."
    6. Choose the option called "Office Outlook Personal Folder File (.pst)" then click OK.
    7. This will open a window to create a new .pst file or select an existing .pst file. Browse for and select your .pst on the Network drive.
    8. Now click Finish to exit the Mail Setup dialog. To create a profile with no e- mail accounts click OK. E-mail can be added when the profile is first run in Outlook.
    9. When you open Outlook choose the new profile, then configure the type of e-mail using the e-mail wizard.
    You can now try and setup a new synchronisation using this new profile. If the problem is still happening you could also try installing PC Suite 6.7.22, and try configuring new settings for the new profile.

  • Syncing iphone with windows 7 contacts - error message outlook.pst not foun

    I have set set up ITunes to sync my Iphone GS with Windows Contacts. When I sync I get an error message :
    The file c:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Mapi\1033\Outlook.pst could not be found
    Sometimes the error message comes up 2 or 3 times.
    Secondly, my Iphone is syncing with something because an old version of my windows address book is now on my iphone. Of course if I add a new contact to Windows Contacts, it does not appear on my iphone.
    I dont have Outlook installed on my PC. It was removed, but I guess I do have an old outlook.pst file from my old times with Windows XP.
    So how does Itunes manage the sync and how can I stop it syncing with my old address book and use Windows Contacts? I have tried resetting my sync history but it did not work.
    I am running Windows7 (upgrade from Vista).

    I am also having issues with syncing my Iphone 3GS with the latest version on Itunes. I have for a long while now been doing just great. My contacts, phone numbers, emails have all synced very nicely, no problems. As soon as I downloaded the new Itunes 9.1 I can no longer sync contacts, and calendars, as usual.
    I tried several things that were suggested to me in the troubleshooting but nothing has helped. It usually tells me that my computer is not set up for syncing, and after arranging that it still doesn't work. As well, it says it cannot find the requested services.
    Please help.
    I am running windows 7, and have been for a while, it's not windows 7, it's the new Itunes upgrade.

    Based on the description, some users got this error message while they tried to access the GAL. But if they tried again, they could access the GAL.
    Do they run Outlook in cached mode?
    If it is cached mode, please switch to online mode to check the result.
    If online mode works well, this issue is related to OAB. I recommend you check the Autodiscover service by using "Test Email Autocnfiguration" in Outlook.
