Synchronising my iCloud account with MS Office 2010

I use MS Office 2010 Outlook for emails and calendars and I wish to find an effective method to synchronise my iCloud account (used on iPad air and on iPhone 5S with the Outlook 2010 program on my HP laptop computer. This I have done before, but Outlook reported a failure to synchronise with my iCloud account and asked me to switch off the synchronisation. This I did, but I cannot find the necessary method in Outlook Add-ins to synchronise my systems.
Clear instructions, the simpler the better, would be much appreciated.

  • Office 365 DIRSYNC - Sync new AD account with Old Office 365 Account

    Hi Guys,
I've deleted an AD account (let's name it XYZ) that is synced with Office 365. However, I was told that XYZ had joined another dept instead of leaving the company. Therefore, I've recreated another AD account for XYZ and went to the Office 365 Portal to
    recover the deleted mailbox.
However, I wasn't able to re-sync the XYZ AD account with the Office 365 account. Is there anyway to accomplish this? By the way, XYZ do also have an on-premises Exchange 2010 mailbox.
    Thanks.

It's recommended to download and install
Configuration Analyzer Tool (OffCAT), which is developed by Microsoft Support teams. Once the tool is installed, you can run it at any time to scan for hundreds of known issues in Office

My recommendation is to download Apple’s Safari version 5.1.7 for Windows to access iCloud.com. It consistently works for me!!!! To make things easier with Safari, I made iCloud.com its Homepage. I’m using it to access iCloud.com from all of my PCs.
On my Windows 7 systems it appears that some add-ons are causing problems when you try to access iCloud.com with the 32-bit version of IE9, but the 64-bit version seems to work fine, more than likely because there are few add-ons that are 64-bit and the 64-bit version of IE9 can't be the default browser in Windows 7.

I am having serious issues trying to alter my old iCloud account with an old non-functioning email to my new apple id with a new email address. The message keeps coming up on all my apple products with my old email (which is not available anymore).

I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account.  I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there.  On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back.  Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email.  The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.
Does anyone have any ideas? The iPad has been backed up to the iCloud so presumably it now won't recognize the current iCloud account? So restoring may notbe an option?

  • IOS7 issues with getting unwanted contacts from another person who used to share an iCloud account with me....

I used to share an iCloud account with my sister (mainly for music/iTunes reasons). After downloading iOS7, I got all her contacts so I made my own iCloud account in order to separate our contacts, calendars, etc. Now her contacts are gone from my phone list but when I text, they still show up when I am selecting a recipient. How do I get rid them?

Settings > Photos & Camera > Photo Sharing > OFF

  • I share an iCloud account with my brother and he is receiving my iMessages

I share an iCloud account with my brother and our iMessage is linked together so he gets my text messages?

That's correct. If you share the same AppleID for iMessage, messages go to all devices.
If you don't want that to happen, and you want to be able to iMessage each other, then you or your brother will need to get a separate AppleID for iMessage.
In fact, iCloud accounts aren't meant to be shared between different people, as it means you won't be able to have your own independent contacts, calendars, bookmarks etc.

  • Can I share my iCloud account with all of my devices

Can I share my iCloud account with all of my iOS devices

Yes, but the access of some services is limited to 10 devices.

  • Multiple iCloud accounts with one Apple ID?

We have 4 iOS devices in our household (2 iPhones, 2 iPads). We share the same Apple ID. Can we have more than 1 iCloud account with one Apple ID?
We do not want to share our Calendars and Reminders.
    Thanks!

Set up your mac.com account again on devices.  Turn off Mail and other data syncing with this account on your wife's devices for data that you want to keep separate.  Then set up a second ("secondary") iCloud account on your wife's devices to sync Mail.
If you already set up a separate iCloud account on your wife's devices, on her devices go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in your your mac.com ID.  Turn on the data you want to share with this account across all devices; don't turn Mail on.  Then go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud and enter her separate iCloud credentials and turn Mail to On.
The only downside to this approach is that her email will be fetch, not push email.  Push email is only supported in the main ("primary") account, not a secondary account.
The limitations to be aware of with secondary accounts are that only the primary account can be used for Photo Stream, Bookmarks, Documents, iCloud Backup and Find My Device.  Also, push mail only works for the primary account; secondary account mail is fetch.

  • I have an Icloud account with my parents but want to make a new one. Will I lose everything that is currently on my phone? i.e. phone numbers, pictures, music

In case you're not clear - iPad/iPhone storage, and iCloud storage, are totally separate. Buying more iCloud storage does not give you more storage space on your device. Your device has a fixed storage space for apps and data (e.g., 16GB - which is more like 12GB in real terms). iCloud storage just allows you to store more documents, mail, photos, etc, in the cloud.

  • I want to update iCloud account with new apple id but don't know password for old apple id.  Plus can no longer receive email at old apple id.  How can I delete the current iCloud account on my iPhone if the previously stated conditions exist?

I want to update iCloud account with new apple id but don't know password for old apple id.  Plus can no longer receive email at old apple id.  How can I delete the current iCloud account on my iPhone if the previously stated conditions exist?

If the old ID is yours, and if it is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

  • HT204053 can i have multiple iCloud accounts with the same Apple id

Can i have multiple iCloud accounts with the same Apple id

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
No, your ID is essentially your account. You can have email aliases and you can have multiple accounts, but I don't think that's what you are asking.

  • TS4009 I seem to have 2 iCloud accounts with different names - a free storage that came with my Macbook and one I used when I bought some iCloud space. How can I cancel the free account?

I seem to have 2 iCloud accounts with different names - a free storage that came with my MacBook and one I used when I bought some iCloud space. How can I cancel the free account? Because of this I can't access iMatch and the ICloud account I paid for on my MacBook
Any ideas cos its frustrating that I can't access something I paid for!

Sign out of the account you do not wish to use, sign into the one that you do wish to use.

  • I need to allign my icloud account with my apple id account

As a new iphone user I set up the icloud account with an email account that I shouldn't have. Then I found that I had an old appleid account, and I used another email. Now I discover a problem, when I try to log in with a pc using itunes and the icloud control panel. I try to use the apple id, and it errors as it tries to log in to icloud services (because of having used another email address in the first step above).
Now, the problem is, how to correct this? I can log into apple id management, but I can't log in to icloud on the pc. On the iphone, I see it is still using the old email. Should I delete the whole icloud account from the iphone (which uses the wrong email and password)? Would that allow me to set up icloud on the iphone again, using the correct apple id email account?
Or is there some better way? I just want to make the icloud account to use the correct email (same as apple id) but can't find an obvious way to do this.

Answer found by calling a technician. I needed to delete the icloud account on the iphone, but the delete account was not visible to me at first. It was a control below the bottom of the screen in the general preference>icloud page. Once I scrolled down to it, I saw the delete account button. After deleting the account, I had the option to remake it with the correct email.
Still, it was interesting to assess the responsiveness of this community.

  • HT5621 When I got my new iPhone and was trying to switch everything over I accidentally set up a new icloud account with one email and had one on my old iphone with another account. Does anyone know how I can merge the two accounts?

When I got my new iPhone and was trying to switch everything over I accidentally set up a new icloud account with one email and had one on my old iphone with another account. Does anyone know how I can merge the two accounts?

You cannot merge Apple IDs but you can go to Settings > iCloud and 'Delete Account'.  When prompted to turn off documents and data, choose the only option which is Delete from my iPhone, but on the other prompt for Contacts, Calendars, etc you can choose 'Keep on my iPhone'  Then once the Account is Deleted form the iPhone, log back in with the correct Apple ID and choose Merge when prompted.  This will merge your data from this iPhone with that iCloud account effectively putting your devices on the same account.
