Synchronization issue with Outlook 2007

Dear Gurus,
I’m literally fighting with my BB synchronization.
I have a Curve 8900 (SW v. 5.0.0.441 and Platform 5.2.0.31), DM v. 6.0.0.40 and Outlook 2007.
When I try to set up the synchronization of the Address Book and the Calendar, by selecting Outlook as source, for both of them, a msg pops up after I click “finish”: “Intellisync the operation terminated unexpectedly.”
As suggested in other fora, I tried:
- to delete the Intellisync folder in the documents&settings dir
- update my device and DM
- run the diagnostic procedure in outlook
- delete all the contacts and tried to synchronize an empty address book just to set up the connection between my BB and outlook..but it didn’t work..same error even without contacts.
Guys I’m almost desperate…I need this synchronization.
Tx in advance.
L

LucaB,
You've done good so far and listed the steps well. There's one more thing you can try:
Go into your BlackBerry Desktop Manager, click on Backup, Go into Advanced and clear the Databases. This should remove any curroption if present. which may resolve your issue.
I hope this helps,

  • ICloud sync issues with Outlook 2007

I am currently using Outlook 2007 and want to sync my Iphone 4S with it. I have setup the icloud settings etc and I am having the following issues.
When I change something on my phone there is no wireless sync happening even though its setup?
When I go to my outlook calendar it gives me two choices. A pink tab says Calendar in Cloud and a green tab says work in Cloud. When I sync my phone calendar changes show up in the green Work in Cloud. However, the Work in Cloud does not contain many of my previous inputs prior to starting with the icloud service.
When I click on Contact it’s initially blank and says no contacts, if I click on Contacts in Cloud my contacts show up.
Can you help with these items? Thanks in advance.

    ok...
From experience, I can tell you the two calendars are both default calendars with iCloud. 'Work in Cloud' probably doesn't contain any of previous inputs because your iphone probably defaults to your regular calendar.
For me, I was able to get a good understanding by looking at the icloud calendar at icloud.com and the outlook calendar side by side. I recommend doing so, and playing around with things so you can figure out how they work.
With Outlook, you are going to have locally stored stuff (like Contacts), and your cloud-stored stuff (like Contacts in Cloud). That is why you are seeing two different sets of data. It looks like you dont have any locally stored contact, which is fine. All of your contacts are in iCloud (or...Contacts in Cloud), which should correlate to your iphone. again, it might be best to just pull up icloud.com, and put it side by side with outlook. it helped me get a good understanding of how it works.

  • Sync Issues with outlook 2007

here is the issues in a nutshell.....
    1) When I put an appointment into my blackberry as a full day, it syncs with
my outlook as a 2 day appointment. This also happens when I do an all day
appointment in outlook it changes to a 2 day appointment on my blackberry.
    2) Also when I put an appointment into my blackberry at a specific time eg.
8:00am meeting it syncs in outlook at 7:00am meeting, one hour earlier…….
    Strange
I have been through all the blogs and crackberry.com, and this one but can’t seem to find
    a resolution…..
I have downloaded the DST patch for both outlook and blackberry but nothing
changes…… adjusted both clocks on Outlook and my Blackberry as well.  I have verified that the BIOS clock is also correct.
I am running the blackberry desktop manager 4.3, Outlook 2007, and have a
blackberry curve 8310, that has v4.2.2.153 software on it.
    Any help would be appreciated
    thanks in advance

  • Calendar Sync Issue with Outlook 2007 / Exchange

    Contacts are syncing fine.
I;ve tried Outlook 2003 and 2007... same problem with both.
    Here's the error:
    Microsoft Office Outlook
'OutlookSyncClient' exited without properly closing your Outlook data file 'C:\Documents and Settings\Brandon\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.ost'. 'Microsoft Office Outlook' must be restarted. If this error message recurs, contact support for 'OutlookSyncClient' for assistance.
    Any help would be appreciated.

So here's the only solution I've got so far and obviously it is not ideal...
I switched to a different computer and installed outlook 2003. No calendar at all prior to this. Installed iTunes 7.4.x and plugged in the iPhone. I told it to sync contacts and calendar (merge) with Outlook. I DID NOT connect this outlook client to the exchange server at all.
Worked like a charm. I still have no idea how to get this working with Exchange. OST by default is the way cached exchange stored files... so I'm welcome to any suggestions for somehow getting everything into a clean pst file that still syncs for offline use with exchange.
APPLE - outlook sync is an issue. It's not just me (google search proves it).

  • 8130 Sync issues with Outlook 2007

I have a pearl 8130. My work schedule is sent to my phone but when I sync my phone to the computer, it doesn't show up in Outlook (2007).  I think it might be because of the fact that the organizer field has someone else's name on it... maybe... but I can't find any options in the manager to get around it.  I don't know where the issue is b/c I got this job at about the same time I got a new computer, new version of outlook and the blackberry desktop manager update so... if any one has any suggestions of something I could try it would be greatly appreciated

  • 03-2014:Synchronize iphone with OUTLOOK 2007 on Windows VISTA 2007

    March 2014
    Hi, folks,
Since the installation of iTunes 11.0.2.26, I experienced problems when starting OUTLOOK.
These problems mentioned something related to MobileMe.
I tried to repair MobileMe, without succes and then decided to unistall it.
Unfortunately, now it doesn't work anymore.
    I see 2 solutions:
    1) Download a new version of MobileMe, but I can't find any, as Aplle decided to unsupport it. Does anyone know where I can download a recent version ?
    2) Install iCLOUD and sync between iCLOUD and OUTLOOK. However, Apple doesn't support iCLOUD on Windows VISTA 2007.
Can anyone help by providing this version of MOBILEME or with another valid solution.
    Many thanks in advance,
    Marco

Actually, they do.  Use this version of the iCloud control panel for Windows: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1687.

I am trying to forward my msn email account messages to my Blackberry 8830 and when they come in to the device, I can read the header info, but the body of the message is a mess of HTML codes.
Gmail forwards fine and I have spent hours on the phone with both Blackberry/Verizon support and Microsoft support.
No one can figure it out.  Any ideas?
    Linda

I have a msn account and both that account and the Gmail account are automatically sent to the blackberry divice.  Theycan be set up on the blackberry/verizon site or from the device.   I called and verizon confirmed they were set up right.
I can read the gmail ones, but the msn acocunt has abunch of code int he text/body part of the message.
What is weird, is that they worked fine of my last blackberry 8830, but this one is new last week.  It seems like a phone setting, but no one can find it.

  • Synchornisation of BB Torch Contacts with Outlook 2007

I have bought BB Torch 9810 recently. And dowloaded latest version of BB Desktop software. I tried to synchronize the BB contact with Outlook 2007. However, it is taking 5 hours or more to do the same. And even after giving so much of time, it gives errors and only partial contacts are transferred to Outlook. (Previously I was using BB Torch and the sync was just taking 2-3 minutes).
    Please guide.

Hi and Welcome to the Community...and apologies for the delay!
Hopefully you already have this resolved...but just in case...
    I suggest this thread:
    http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Desktop-Software-for-PC/Cleanly-quot-Starting-Over-quot-with-...
It starts with a process for cleanly starting over, and there is some discussion, and there is also a post (15) with links to older Desktop Software versions, if those are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work...but it has worked for many to resolve issues they are having.
Sorry, but better advice can only come from better input..."it gives errors" does not give enough to make reasonble guesses from.
    Good luck!

  • IPhone will no longer sync with Outlook 2007

I've had my iPhone for about 16 months - the sync with Outlook 2007 worked great until about 3 months ago (I'm guessing previous update to the one that happened today.) No changes to the laptop I synch with - Vista.
In iTunes under the "Info" tab for Calendars I see the message "No supported calendar application can be found."
Normal sync for music works and photo uploading works fine.
    Help!
    Thanks!

  • Error when syncing iPhone with Outlook 2007 since updating iPhone to 1.1.2

Since updating to 1.1.2 I receive this message "OutlookSyncClient has stopped working". I am running Vista Business with Outlook 2007. Prior to updating to 1.1.2 I had no issues. I have tested this running iTunes 7.4.3.1 and 7.5.0.20. My contacts sync with no issues, only my calendar does not work. Has anyone else ran into this issue and have you found a resolution/work around?

Cannot get N95 to synchronise with Outlook 2007 Calendar. Do I need new software download? Is it available?

no u donot require any additional software. This can be done using PC Suite with no additional software.
Go to PC Suite, start Synchronize. In Synchronize (Nokia PC Sync), goto Settings. In Settings, under the General tab, click on Advanced. Under "Automatic Synchronization", select either synchronize everytime I connect my mobile or Sychronize periodically and select 15min/30min/hourly. Check the checkbox "Launch Nokia PC Sync automatically on Startup"
Click OK and voila...auto syncing of calendar and contacts with Outlook.

  • Error when configuring Desktop Software with Outlook 2007 Calendar

     Hello,
I am trying to find some help for a problem I'm having with a Blackberry 8100. I would like to use the Desktop Software 5.0 in conjunction with Outlook 2007 (on Windows 7 64 bits) to sync the calendar between the device and the computer. Actually I pretend to change Lotus Notes (which worked perfectly) for Outlook 2007.
The problem appears during the configuration process on the Desktop Software. I go to the configuration wizard for the calendar, choose Outlook, select bidirectional syncronization and then after clicking Next a small window appears (it happens also with both one-way options).
The window has Error as title and no other text, just an OK button. After closing it the wizard goes on asking for which Outlook profile to sync with. Unfortunately, the drop menu list does not show any profiles, it is completely blank.
I've tried creating, removing and renaming new profiles helplessly, as the error windows appears again and no profile is listed.
How could I solve it? Any idea would be appreciated.
    Thanks for your help,
    Roger

  • My blackberry tour does not sync my contacts anymore with outlook 2007. I do not get an error message. Help!!

My blackberry tour does not sync my contacts anymore with outlook 2007. I do not get an error message. Help!!

Norton is probably the issue. It can really screw things up, that is one reason I never use it. See if you can temporarily disable it and then try the sync and see if that works.
On a Mac, there is a way to run a program that repairs permissions for the user, not a Windows thing.

  • Having email imap synchronization problems with outlook 365 proplus

    Hello,
I have email imap synchronization problems with outlook 365 proplus.
If I sent emails , my sent items box does not synchronized.
This is really a bug, because I see more problems like this on internet.
Please make ASAP a solution , this is not professional
    JMR

    Hi JMR,
Assuming you are referring to Outlook 2013 by "outlook 365 proplus". This is actually because Outlook 2013’s IMAP implementation has changed when compared to previous versions of Outlook.
While configuring the IMAP account, Outlook will talk to the IMAP server for the correct folders first. If Outlook 2013 can’t find the correct folder for the Sent Items in your mail server, it will create a folder which doesn’t sync with the mail server.
To sync the Sent Items folder with IMAP server, we can try to root the mailbox:
    Go to FILE->Account Settings->Account Settings…
Double click on your IMAP account.
Click More Options… button, then Advanced tab
Type "Inbox" as the "Root folder path"
    Hope this helps.

  • Email sync with outlook 2007

Hi Everyone, I would like some help sync my email with outlook 2007. I am a new user and don't know whether this is possible so please forgive for the ingnorance.
Also i wanted to know that other than email what else are the powerful tools of  the blackberry

    Hello Ljo,
Thank you for your question regarding synchronizing your BlackBerry smartphone Calendar and Microsoft Outlook.
Which BlackBerry model and version of BlackBerry Device Software are you running on it? http://bbry.lv/iubM23
When more than one calendar exists on your BlackBerry smartphone, one calendar is set as the default. To confirm which calendar is set to default, click the Options icon from the Home screen and select Advanced Options > Default Services.
Note: For BlackBerry 6, click the Options icon and select Device > Advanced System Settings > Default Services.
Make sure that the default Calendar is the one that you are adding the new entries on.
If this is the case, please contact your mobile service provider and request that they contact BlackBerry on your behalf.
    Thank you.
