Synchronizaton of changes in SAP systems

Hi!
I have the following problem.
I have two that are different, it means some tables are changed.
Is there some transations and/or tool, that allows to track all the changes made in both systems comparing customer tables, reports, perhaps repository.
I have heared about Tcode SPRO_ADMIN.
Has some information about this issue?
Thank you very much!
regards

Hi Axel,
a) CCSV doesn't compare reports
b) for Z or Y objects, you can go to the manual selection and enter the names of the Z / Y tables you want to compare
c) yes, you can compare across clients, just make an rfc connection from one client to another
d) these are the types of objects that can be selected
C     View cluster
L     Logical transport object
S     Table (with text table)
T     Individual transaction object
V     View
     Table
In addition to these, you can compare
1. Customizing piece list/transport
2. Business COnfiguration Set
3. ALE Distribution Group
<i>And what exatcly can I compare?
E.g. If I change one table in one system and have exactly the same table unchanged in other system. Can I check it out with this tool?</i>
If there are structural differences between the two systems, then it will inform you about this difference and choose the identical fields and compare them. Also, you can define which fields you want to be compared

  • Source System changes from SAP System to BI Warehouse on ECC activation

We are in the process of building a new development environment from an existing development environment.
After copying from system backup in the new development environment we performed BDLS to map to new source systems. At this point of time the source system for ECC ("SAP System from Release 3.0E" was changed to type "SAP Business Information Warehouse".
    Why does this happen?
    How can we prevent this?
    Thanks for your help.

    Hello.
Please check the following note if ti can be helpful to fix this issue.

  • How to check  last mint change in sap system

    hi all,
last night someone delete some packages of abapdev from DEV system, how can i insure that who has done that ?
    plz guide
    Regards
    Khan

St03n --> left side pane select as Expert Mode --> Select the date --> click on the users and statistics --> user profile
you can c who are all users have logged in for that day. Select a user and double click and then you can get what are all the transactions he has ran on that particular day.
    I hope this helps you.

  • Compliance Calibrator for multiple SAP systems

I was wondering if anyone could assist me with my query.  We are currently performing an implementation of Virsa CC for a client and have begun to configure a CC DEV system they have installed with their custom SoD rule set.  The DEV CC system (sitting on a stand alone NetWeaver box) is "connected" to four SAP systems (DEV, QA, HR DEV & HR QA).  When we are building "functions" (i.e. raise purchase orders) in CC it asks us to define a SAP system when we are entering the transaction codes.  We've been configuring the functions with SAP DEV as the system, however when we run the analysis of results we would like to get results from QA as well.  It appears that the risk analysis only works for the system that you have defined the functions in (i.e. we get results for users in DEV but not for users in QA).
    My questions are as follows:
    - Do you need to define all the systems you wish to run a risk analysis for within the function (i.e. function = Raise purchase orders. DEV ME21 & QA ME21)?
    - If so, is there an easy way to convert our functions so that they point to QA as well (we've noticed that we can't edit the SAP system once the function is saved)?
    - Is it possible to export the functions and then define the SAP system when importing them back into CC (we've noticed with the SAP delivered rule set that SAP DEV was automatically defaulted)?  This is particularly relevant as we would like to export the rules from the DEV CC system and import them to the PROD CC system without having to manually create the rule set again; and
    - Is it possible to export the rules and manually change the SAP system reference and import them back into CC (i.e. do a "replace all" DEV to QA)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Alexi

In order to perform what your are trying to do in CC 5.2, you will need to go to configuration and setup a logical system, such as SAP R/3 and define all the appropriate systems for the logical system.  Then, when modifying the functions, you will need to set the tcode (action) to the logical system defined, such as R/3 or APO, etc.
The cross-system functionality only comes into play if you want to analyze the SOD where a conflict would occur if a user had access to one function in one system (for example - purchase order processing in APO) and a conflicting function in a different system (for example - Vendor Master in R/3).
If you simply want to check who has violates a risk against multiple system - the logical system is the best way.  You can have an logical system by system type - R/3, BW, APO, SRM, etc.
To convert this over, you can export the rules and during the export you have to define the new system when exporting the file.  If that doesn't work, I'd just delete everything out, and use the upload files to reload the rules with the correct data.

  • IP Change on SAP Servers

    Hi,
The purpose of this question is because our company is moving the main headquarters to another plant and we need to move the site, and this also includes the SAP Servers to another location.
So we need to change the IP addresses for every SAP Server that we have.
    We have the following architecture:
1 SAP application server defined with hostname SAP-APP (Production system). Operating System is Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition with Service Pack 2.
1 SAP DB Server defined with hostname PRODUCCION (Productive DB). Database is MS SQL Server 2000 with Service Pack 4 and Operating System Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition with Service Pack 2.
1 QAS and DEV Server with a local Database defined with the hostname QAS_DEV. Operating System is Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition with Service Pack 2 and the database is MS SQL Server 2000 with Service Pack 4.
We do not use Print Servers or IP Printers on SAP, we use default printers for every user, using the SWIN: Windows printing via SAPlpd.
Our SAP Version is SAP ERP Central Component 5.0.
    Notes related.
And then, we checked the related notes and topics on market place for changing an IP address to a SAP Server and found the following ones:
Note 403708 – Changing an IP address.
Note 88346 – Changing the RFC destination if IP changes are made.

    Hi,
you are not changing the SAP System Host name, you are only change the IP address SAP Server.
for that you are only worried about the RFC destination which are created using IP  address of host,
you need to change those RFC and assign correct IP address.

While implementing sso for R/3 with sap EP, we did some changes in SAP System of UM configuration, after that we are not able to login with existing super user.

  • Unable to change the data source of SAP system

    Dear all,
We have install SAP netweaver EHP1 standalone java on oracle 10.2.0.5 on windows 2008 R2.
while installation i have given the central SLD system as solman,
By mistake i have deleted the system from SMSY.. now when i createed the system manually i am unable to change the data resource as SLD due to this i can start my SMD configuration
Request please let me know how to resolve this issue.
    Thanks
    Paresh

    Hi Paresh,
You can proceed with deleting your SAP system from SMSY (along with connected technical content such as AS Java definition) and the run the LANDSCAPE FETCH through transaction SMSY_SETUP to have the correct definition of your SAP system in SMSY.
Following this, you could use the addon Landscape Verification (a new thing I learnt today!!!)  to check the correctness of transaction SMSY. The following link details the Landscape verification 1.0 for SolMan:
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/e093b3ce-c034-2d10-01bc-b51f1691d3da?quicklink=index&overridelayout=true
Hope this helps sort out your issue.

  • How to change the hostname was set/defined in SAP system?

    Dear Expert,
My customer met a problem about that:
he defined his host name with small characters(lower case) "abc" when he installed the SAP system (Windows2003(x64)-Solman70SR4).
But in SM21, the title of sm21, the hostname was recognize as upper case "ABC".
in SM51, the hostname was also recognized as upper case "ABC"
in STMS, the tab of 'transport tool', it is recognized as lower case "abc" in TRANSDIR.
in SM59, it is recognized as upper case "ABC" in internal connections, but recognized as lower case "abc" in ABAP connections, such as TMSADM@<DB>.DOMAIN.<sid>
While in Java URL, it is recognized as lower case "abc". With my test, the Java URL is not case sensitive for the HOSTNAME part in HTTP link as I tested to change the hostname both in upper case and lower case in etc\hostname file, the URL both are working. (not sure if this is due to the test is with intranet or not).
Based on SAP note 611361, it seems that:
"Hostnames must be considered "case sensitive". That means
hostnames shall be used in the same case (upper or lower) in all
SAP configurations as well as in the network configuration (DNS
or etc/hosts). You must ensure consistent name resolving of the
hostname from hostname to IP address and back from the IP address
to the the same hostname (case sensitive match). See also note
    129997."
    Please help to suggest.
    Many thanks in advance,
    Perry Song

Section  4.13 "Checking the Consistency of the Host Name" in [This Upgrade Guide|https://websmp208.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700000353422008E]  has a good explaination of what & how to check your hostname / parameter configuration.
on a windows box, another way to get the TCP/IP name is to type  'hostname' from a CMD window.

  • How to discable password change in SAP ERP (or any ABAP system)

    Hello,
We have password synchronization between Sun Identity Management system and SAP ABAP systems. This ensures that the password is identical between the network ID and SAP ID. In order to avoid any issues, we would like to disable the ability of the users to change their password in the SAP system directly (on the initial logon page). This forces the users to go through Sun Identify Management system for resetting the password (desired behavior). Can you please suggest if there is a way to do this. I remember seeing an OSS note that meets the requirement a couple of years ago but now I can't find it.
    Thanks
    Sri

Please check note number: 379081 if it helps for you.

  • DDIC and SAP* changing into usertype system

In order to secure the Standard Users DDIC and SAP* against misuse i
planned to change them into SYSTEM accounts instead of DIALOG.
Is there, in case of a standard SAP implementation, any indications that
    we shouldn´t do this?
In the guidelines and forums i couldn't find any arguments against
    such a situation.
The SAP* accounts is further secured by setting the system profile
    parameter 'logon/no_automatic_user_sapstar' to 1.
Thanks in advance for your reactions.
    With kind regards,
    Edwin Stam

As of release 7.00 EhP1 there is a new procedure for this.
See --> Lock DDIC user but keep the RDD* jobs working. and the link to the help.sap.com documentation.
The users are already blocked from authenticating via trusted RFC. Changing the user type to system will also prevent them from being used on the issuing system for SAP Logon Tickets as well as attaching a SAPGui to a logon session in the backend systems. You can also disable the password in SU01 (which will delete the password hash).
    Alcatraz for standard users...

    Hi Indra,
On the face of it, it seems you're trying to change the standard SAP objects (programs). Could you specify which program you're trying to change / add ?
Remember, all your new programs should begin with either a 'Z' or 'Y'.

i hope i would no longer encounter the error message.
