Synchronize settings and copy and paste settings not working LR 4.1
Recently upgraded to LR 4.1.
The copy and paste settings and also synchronize setttings in LR 4.1 has stopped working.
Rebooted, nothing new added
AMD Phenom II X6 1100T 3.60gh
16 GB ram
64 bit
I am also seeing issues in 4.1 with Synchronize settings. I'll giove an example:
Select all images, change the white balance in most selected image, Click "Sync..." have only the "white balance" check box checked, click Synchronize biutton. All images in that folder appear to have synched, but looking more closely, some of the images did not get the white balance setting applied - this is really random also. Had the same issue trying to sync exposure across all images in a folder - 150ish images.
Never seen this in any version of LR prior to 4.1 - I have had them all since 1.2.
I am running Windows 7 x64 8GB on i7 920.
Hopefully Adobe are investigating this issue.

As the subject says, somehow I mangled my settings so copy to stickies does not work anymore, pressing shift-option-Y. I have no idea what has changed, restoring the keyboard shortcuts to their default didn't help. Does anyone have a suggestion or a solution?

iMac Mac OS X (10.4.3)You can open the firefox instead of the safari. It works. However, they should solve this problem. Another bug, after saving the document, don't expect to have the figures and tables in the same place when you reopen it. THIS WAS THE WORST SOFTWARE VERSION EVER! I am totally upset. It is worst than powerpoint now.

I have never seen this before when I try to copy and paste, I get a

I have copied and pasted hundreds of times before with Mozilla and firefox . This just happened suddenly.
when I go to find more information on this issue, it give a long drawn out explanation I cant follow.
What happened?When you right-click the link, the page immediately tells you you can't copy, or does that occur after you choose Copy Link Location?
If it appears immediately, you can switch a setting in Firefox that should prevent sites from blocking the normal right-click menu. Here's how you would do that:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste '''context''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the '''dom.event.contextmenu.enabled''' preference to switch it from true to false.
This setting does have a complication: On Google Maps and other sites that have their own right-click menu, Firefox's menu then will block the site's menu. To clear Firefox's menu so you can access the site's menu tap either the Alt key or Esc key once (but sometimes Esc removes both). -

and there was no problem.

I just installed the new firefox for Mac OSX 10.6.8 and when I select an image on a site (right click and copy) and paste in Photoshop 5.5, the image lightens. It does not do this in Safari.Firefox, Safari, and PhotoShop each handle embedded color profiles differently. What do you by "I used CTRL+P to paste"? As I know, we usually use copy\paste with ctrl+C\ctrl+V.
More information would be helpful.
Anyway, if this issue only happened in IE, then what is the result is we copy something with right-click\Copy?
You can also launch IE in add-on mode to tset this issue, click "Start", type "internet", then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).
Meanwhile, clear browser history\caches\cookies, etc. Tools\Internet Options\General\Delete...

If the same website is opening each time you launch a browser (Safari?) hold down the shift key as you launch to prevent previous pages from opening.
Have a look at your settings in Safari > Preferences. Especially General and Privacy.
Reset Safari to remove cookies and other stored data.
System Preferences > General
Have a look at your settings in System Preferences > Security & Privacy.

SQL DEVELOPER cut and paste does not work, slow and cannot work fast.
I have lots of difficulties using SQL Developer, the cut/paste does not work properly, when I type search in he code editor it just paste or type the test in the source code not in the serach box. Very hectic I'm pallning to swicth to TOAD until they a a good version.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems with SQLDeveloper - personally, I've never had any problems with cut/copy/paste and searching, and I've been using SQLDeveloper from v1.0 to the current version, on practically every version of the JDK from 1.5-1.6u16 on both Windows and Linux.
Sorry to state the obvious, but perhaps if you could provide a bit more specific information - such as platform, version, etc - and details of what you tried to do, someone here might be able to help...? Regarding speed, there are quite a few things you can do to make this better, but again, without knowing your setup, it's hard to give you proper directions. Plus, you'll find numerous threads here and on google about what you can do to improve speed.

SebastianSelect the range selection tool (ggg is the keyboard shortcut), then drag through the clip to select the area you want to copy then paste... it will paste only what's selected.
