Synchronize Workflow

I have two concurrent report set's running by the following name.
Synchronize Workflow LOCAL table (1) (Report Set)
Synchronize Workflow LOCAL tables (Report Set)
First one is failing and the log file shows the following error.
"The stage registered as the first stage is invalid."
I suspect the first one might be a dummy created by somebody. But still i want to confirm the difference between the two, before i delete.
I really don't know how to proceed. Can somebody help me regarding this.

Thx.
I looked into that doc.
But in my case it looks like the program is not really existing.
I searched for this request set as follows.
Concurrent---Requests--- Set
F11
Synchronize Workflow LOCAL table (1)
Ctr+F11
This doesn't fetch me the request set.
Whereas, Synchronize Workflow LOCAL table fetches the details.
Does this means this request set doesn't exist any more ?
Is there any other way of checking the same ???

  • 'Synchronize WF LOCAL tables'

    Hi.
Can someone point me to where Oracle documents the use (not the errors that are found when running it) of the following program?
    'Synchronize WF LOCAL tables'
I have actually run this before after a clone to reassign the responsibilities to the users, but is there another reason to call this program??
    Thank

    Hi,
As per my understanding from your question,
Run the Synchronize WF LOCAL Tables program to perform synchronization in bulk.
This periodically refreshes the information in the Workflow local tables for Oracle Trading Community Architecture (TCA). Use this concurrent program as an interim method to synchronize the Workflow local tables with the user and role information stored in the TCA tables until TCA performs the synchronization automatically.
The Synchronize Workflow LOCAL Tables request set contains ten instances of the Synchronize WF Local Tables program, one for each originating system. You can use this request set to submit requests for all the originating systems at once. Each request is defined as a separate stage and the stages will run sequentially because this program is incompatible with itself.
By default, this request set runs once a day to provide a minimal level of synchronization. You can modify the schedule for the request set to perform
    synchronization more frequently.
For more information, see: Synchronizing Workflow User and Role Information, in Setting Up an Oracle Workflow Directory Service, Oracle Workflow Administrator's Guide.

  • After R12 Upgrade: No records in many of the tables.

    Hi all,
After R12 upgrade, we found there are no records in many tables. For example AR_BATCHES_V.
What could be the probable causes?
Also, note that there are still some concurrent requests running.

    Hi,
I'm a bit late to the party in this thread, but:
Are most of the unpopulated tables related to Financials? With the introduction of E-Business Tax (ZX) and Sub-Ledger Accounting in R12, some data seems to have been moved to other tables and schemas. For example, we had some reports that needed to be rewritten for R12 because some Receivables tables and views were empty after the upgrade. I don't get into the functional side of things very often, so I don't know if AR is similarly affected.
Sorry I don't have much detail to offer, but maybe this will give you a starting point for further research.

  • R12 DMZ login page hangs after some time

    Node 1: Database 10.2.0.3
    Node 2: internal Application
Node 3: External Application - currently not exposed to the internet, we are testing opening the URL internally.
Followed DOC I: 380490.1 - in order to achieve the External node.
The Database and Application are working fine. The instance works perfectly fine.
However, when we open the External URL, it hangs on the re-direct page. it does not give any error.
Once we bounce the External services, the URL does show up for 2-3 attempts.
Even though the URL hangs, we are able to ssh, run traceroute, sqlplus, perform adadmin tasks etc - from the External node. we do not have any issues performing the activities mentioned.
    Solutions tried:
We increased the OHS timeout parameter - in the XML file and ran autoConfig.
We increased the keepalive parameter in the httpd.conf and mod_oc4j.
Please let us know what else we can try.
Doubt: Our Internal Application and Database server are 32 GB RAM each. However, the External Node, is 3 GB.
Could this be a possible issue.
Internal application and Database are seperated by a single frewall from each other. Wherein, the External Application is seperated from these servers with 3 firewalls.
The 3rd firewall is used to URL filtering. Could this be a possible issue.

  • Looking for the perfect workflow on two computers and backup photo's and synchronize LR 5

I work on two computers. A workstation in the studio and a laptop. I have a harddisk inside the computer containing all photo's. I have a external disk to backup these photo's.
On the worksation LR catalog sits on a second internal disk. LR runs from another disk. (On the laptop LR runs and contains the catalog on the same disk)
When working on location I download my photo's to this external harddisk. I also use this external disk to work on my photo's on location (home) with my laptop. Back in the studio I sync the internal and external harddisks.
I work with LR5 on both the computer and the laptop. After synchronizing the harddisks I open LR and synchronize the folder(s) using " Synchronize Folder ".
The adjustments I made to the photo's are still there because LR stores these in the RAW files and I use " Include Develop settings in metadata inside JPEG, TIFF, PNG and PSD files "
But the Virtual copies are not there. I understand why this is happening. I read all about exporting and importing Catalogs.
How can I synchronize the LR catalog?
For example. I worked on location. I imported the photo's to the external disk attached to the laptop. I worked on the photo's using LR on the laptop. The next day I want to work on them in the studio using my computer.
In order not to lose any adjustments and virtual copies I have te export the folder containing the new photo's and import them with LR on my studio computer. I have to include the RAW files in this export: " Export negative files "
    What is the problem?
So I will need another harddisk. Next the export takes forever. Then I have to import it again. Takes forever too. When I synchronize the harddisk (using synchronizing software) it goes very quickly. But I lose the virtual copies because the LR catalog cannot be synchronized .
I tried to export the new files as a catalog without "Export negative files" and then after synchronizing the harddisks import this catalog on the second computer.
    This is what happens:
LR does not see the photo's are already there. The option to import only the metadata is grayed out. It is not possible to tell LR where it should import the photo's. Then LR could see the files are already there and it only has to import the metadata changes.
Because I need to work on my photo's in the studio and on location this is realy a big problem.
I know I can work from a external disk on both computers. But that will slow down the workflow extremely because the catalog and the photo's are on the same disk. There are 261.216 photo's in this catalog. So export as a catalog back and forth is not a option.
Using Export As A Catalog also is a problem.
When I import new photo's from my camera (card) it is possible to tell LR where to store the files using a Date Format.
    I use YYYY / YYYY-MM / YYYY-MM-DD:
But when I want to Import From A Other Catalog and tell LR where to store the files it does not see the folder structure already exciting. This a root problem. So it will put the folders where I direct it to and then I have to move the new photo's manually to the correct folders.
If the folder already excists it cannot merge them. In that case I have to move the new photo's from each day into the appropriate folder for each day !
This folder structure is important for me because many older photo's are not taged, but are easy to be found by date.
I probably are overlooking something and the solution is very simple. But I cannot find it ...
QUESTION : can anyone tell me what would be the best workflow in my case ? And still have a fast system ?

Here's what I do with the laptop/desktop workflow. Dedicate an big, fast external drive and place ALL Photo's, LR's catalog and presets (set preferences to Store Preset's with Catalog). You have one drive that has all the data you need to access your images and database on any number of computers. All the computer needs is a working copy of Lightroom. Clone that external drive to the backup drive, a 2nd external. Make as many clone's as you wish (one offsite, one in a fire proof safe, one to take on location etc). When one drive has newer data, just clone that to the others, they are all now in sync. One catalog. One master drive. The drive has all images and necessary associated files LR needs to work with (the expectation is lens and DNG camera profiles, the later can be embedded into a DNG and is thus on the drive too).

  • Workflow - Oracle Internet Directory synchronization

In order to sychronize Oracle Workflow with OID, do i have to create custom object classes into the LDAP schema? possible but nothing to do with automator. you need to schedule a repeating task to run FS using either launchd (use Lingon) or cron (use Cronnix). also, I've never used Folder Synchonizer but I would be hugely surprised if it doesn't a have a built in scheduling mechanism. Any syncing software should have it. I'm sure this one does too.

  • SharePoint Designer workflow gives Claims Authentication error for some users. Problem getting output claims identity. The specified user or domain group was not found.

We have a SharePoint Enterprise 2013 system at RTM level.  We've installed Workflow Manager 1.0 by following the steps at
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj658588.aspx.  For the final step of Validating the Installation we created a simple list-level workflow and verified that the workflow
is invoked successfully.  This is working successfully, but only for a single user.  If other users in the same site collection try to invoke the workflow on this same list we get the ULS Log Error:
Claims Authentication          af3zp Unexpected STS Call Claims Saml: Problem getting output claims identity. Exception: 'Microsoft.SharePoint.SPException: The specified user or domain group was not found. --->
System.Security.Principal.IdentityNotMappedException: Some or all identity references could not be translated.
    followed by:
Failed to issue new security token. Exception: Microsoft.SharePoint.SPException: The specified user or domain group was not found. ---> System.Security.Principal.IdentityNotMappedException: Some or all identity references could not be translated.
    (as details below).
All accounts that are attempting to use the Test Workflow (both working and non-working user accounts) are valid AD accounts and are included in the User Profile Sync that runs nightly.  All have Contribute or Design permission level (and for testing,

What could cause the Claims Authentication to fail when certain users attempt to launch the workflow?
    Thank you for your response.

    Hi Aries,
I am facing issue with work flow where Workflow goes to Suspend mode.
I am facing an issue with SP2013 Custom Workflow developed using Visual Studio 2012.
Objective of the Custom workflow: User fills the form and submit, list get updated and workflow will initiate and go for the process.
Issue: After the deployment of WF, for first time when user is filling the form and submit, list is getting updated. But the Workflow Goes to "Suspend" mode. (
This Custom Workflow has a configuration file where we are providing other details including ID of Impersonator (farm is running under Claim Based Authentication).
Work flow works fine once when the Impersonator initiate the workflow (Fill the form and submit for approval) and everything works fine after that.
    Following steps are already performed
1.Make sure User profile synchronization is started.
2.Make sure the user is not the SharePoint system user.
3.Make sure the user by whom you are logged is available in User Profile list.
4.Step full synchronization of User Profile Application.
From the ULS logs it seems the user's security token from the STS service and User profile service is not being issued.
    Appreciate any thoughts or solution.
    Following are the log files.

    Good evening, technet community
I hope you are doing well.
When configuring my SharePoint workflow, I encounter the problem below:
    Problem Description:

Except an admin account with full control at both "Web Application" and "Site Collection", all others account all have problem when creating a list item. After creating a list item, the workflow status is "cancelled" immediately

    - The workflow is still fail even I assign "full control" to my users group "test\group" – at Site Collection level.
Surprisingly, I have successfully found a solution for this error message. However, I still have some points that I do not clearly understand. Let's start with my solution first.
    Solution:
*** i. Assign permission policy at Web Application level – Central Admin site ***
    1. Central Administration ==> Application management
    ==> Manage Web application
    2. Go to "permission policy", then create a new permission level. This permission level contains all "edit item" permission.
    3. Select "user policy", then I assign it directly to my user account: test\user1.
*** ii. Assign "edit item" permission at Site Collection level ***
    1. Site Setting ==> Site permission
    2. Assign "Edit" permission to my test\group.
(Actually I removed all permissions of my user group at Site Collection level. It seem my group has inherited permission from Web Application level, is that correct? )
*** iii. Create a new list item and workflow runs ……. ***
    ==> My question is:
    1. Why I cannot assign permission to my users group - "test\group" -
at "Web Application" level? Instead I have to assign permission policy for each users, one by one?
    2. Could you please let me know how to collect full detail error message of workflow status?
Thank you very much! Have a nice weekend.

Thank you for your very detail response.
Point 1: Yes my 2 service: user profile & profile sync service are running. I performed "full synchronization" as well. Actually i've tried 3 another action plans before coming up with the solution i posted:
    *** Actions completed ***
    1. Activate the feature: workflow can use app permissions.
Site actions > Site Settings > Site features >activate the feature below:
     Workflows can use app permissions
    2.
Refresh trusted security token services metadata feed
    Get-SPTimerJob
    "RefreshMetadataFeed"
    | Start-SPTimerJob
    - then restart the machine.
    3. Start full user profile synchronization.
    Point 2:
    - Yes my user had Edit permission at workflow task list + list affected by workflow.
I have just remove all permissions of my user at "Site Collection" level. However, when i show my user permissions at my workflow task list and my users still have "Edit" Permission ( assigned at Web Application level. These permissions
still exist even after my workflow task list stop inheriting permission).
==> the problems probably belongs to "permission" at "Site Collection level". It seems "permission level at my Site Collection does not work". All users accounts are also suffer from the same issues except farm admin account
( which has full control at Web Application level).
I would appreciate if your guys can guide me how to make "permission" at my "Site Collection level" work again?
    Thank you very much.

  • FIM EVENT ID 3 when starting User Profile Synchronization service

I am having issues getting the USP Sync Service to start correctly in our 2013 Farm.
We are using a named instance for this install and from what I have read, it looks like that is the issue.
In the ULS I find this error "ERROR  ILMPostSetupConfiguration: ILM Configuration: Validating installation of SQL Service FAILED ."
The event log shows this error:
.Net SqlClient Data Provider: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: HostId is not registered
       at Microsoft.ResourceManagement.Utilities.ExceptionManager.ThrowException(Exception exception)
       at Microsoft.ResourceManagement.Data.Exception.DataAccessExceptionManager.ThrowException(SqlException innerException)

       at Microsoft.ResourceManagement.Workflow.Hosting.HostActivator.RetrieveWorkflowDataForHostActivator()
       at Microsoft.ResourceManagement.Workflow.Hosting.HostActivator.ActivateHosts(Object source, ElapsedEventArgs e)
The server was set up with a sql alias and we also added an alias for the server itself.   Based on the below links, I did verify that the SQLInstance is empty in the registry.
I am at a loss on what to try next to get this working.  As a side note, I just noticed the dev farm we have (which I didn't set up) does not have the UPS configured.  I have seen references that state the only FIM  2010 SP1 works with SharePoint
2013 and am currently investigating updating the version on our server to SP1.
    all help is appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Natalie

  • How to solve: Error while trying to synchronize Audio and MIDI.

The project consists of an hour long DVD of a play which I have loaded into Logic ( on a MacbookPro) and stripped the audio
and cut it up into regions  to name the different parts of the play ( verse/music etc)
Usually I am able to play the project with a small window showing the Movie and watching the audio in the back ground adding markers and notes.
Most of the time this works fine.. but then I get the following message re-occurring every few seconds:
"Error while trying to synchronize Audio and MIDI.
    Sample Rate 26848 recognized.
Check conflict between Logic Pro and external device"
There is no MIDI, there is no external device, the Sample Rate is the usual 44.1
Can anyone explain how to stop getting this error message which keeps interrupting workflow?

    Hello,
open your Audio MIDI Setup utility and set the input to 44100

  • Workflow Susspend Issue

    Hi All,
I am facing an issue with SP2013 Custom Workflow developed using Visual Studio 2012.

I have the same problem, so i resolve it like :
    1. The user that launch the Workflow instance, is not exist in the profile DataBase.
    2. Connect with this user.
    3. Navigate to Profile Site of this user.
    4. Retry to retake to instance.
    5. You can also verify the Debug table of Workflow Databases, its contains all log errors

  • Synchronize By Audio No Longer Works After 7.2 Update

After installing the Premiere Pro CC 7.2 update, the synchronize by audio no longer works correctly.  When you highlight the clips and sync by audio it acts like it's doing something but then puts the clips nowhere near close being a match (usually one clip on one side of the timeline and the one on the other).
Is anyone else having this issue?  I've run into it on two seperate computers bothe running Premiere Pro CC 7.2 on Windows 8.1 machines.
    - Dennis

Bumping this. I'm a brand new CC subscriber and the sync function was a big part of why I moved to CC. 50% of the time it works, but the rest of the time, it pushes the video clip much farther down the timeline.
Update 1: To clarify, I am doing this from the sequence itself. So tracks A1/V1 are the original audio/video from camera, then A2 is my sound I want to sync.
It does not seem to have a problem syncing the same "problem" clips when I use the "Merge" by Audio from the Bin.
Update 2: I found that, if I unlink the original A1/V1 clip, then select all three (A1/V1/A2) and Synchronize, it works.
Obviously, this is an unacceptable workflow, but I hope that helps Adobe figure out what's going on here.
