Synchronized calendar entries shows +1 hour on N95

Hello,
I'm currently using vista x64 + outlook 2007 and synchronising a N95 (01.01) with the latest firmware (v 31.0.0.15 07-11-08 RM-320) and latest pc suite (7.1.18).
My synchronised calendar entries show 1 hour later on the N95.
f.ex. outlook 2007 calendar entry is at 14h, it is shown at 15h on the N95 screen.
What ever I try, reinstalling firmware, deleting calendar entries, resynchronising etc ... nothing helped !
The clock on the N95 screen is correct!
I have the following settings on the n95:
a) time zone GMT+1:00 Brussels
b) "time zone: local time"
c) "network operator time: auto-update"
(setting "network operator time" did NOT help!"
This starts to get really annoying .... has annyone a clue on how to solve this issue?

i have the same problem, and i am using outlook 2007 as well.
i got it fixed, you need to have both time setting on the PC and on the Phone to be the same ( i.e. GMT +1 brussels).

Pidgin - my calendar entries show up as a second status bar in my pidgin

My calendar entries show up underneath my name in pidgin, kind of like a status bar.
I cannot see it myself, but my colleagues/friends can see all my calendar entries underneath my name in pidgin!
I cannot figure out what setting to disable to ensure this is not showing up going fwd.

I believe this is tied to Access Rights in bcentral. If your Calendar permissions are set to Review (can read items based on their sensitivity), Pidgin will pick up the descriptions.

TS3999 When I record calendar events on iPhone or iPad i can use a 24hour basis but not on my Macbook How can I change macbook calendar entries to 24 hour 'clock'

When I record calendar events on my iphone or ipad I use a 24 clock, which is the basis on which my business runs. I cannot do the same on my Macbook, which is very frustrating and counter-intuitive (i.e. using am/pm). I asked my Apple support here in South Africa. The rep' said he could not answer immediately but would get back to me. I'm still waiting. Surely this is not a 'big' or 'unusual' problem?

Blackberry Calendar Entries showing as starting 1HR later than Lotus Notes

Hi Guys,
I have a user who has a Blackberry 8300 with Blackberry Version 4.2.2.146.
What is happening is, when he schedules or accepts meetings on Lotus Notes, once it has synchronized over to the Blackberry via the BES, it is showing the meeting entries as being 1 hour later.
I believe this happened when Daylight Savings was changed but its still keeping the time stamps in the emails as being out by 1 hour.
On the Blackberry the time is correct, and on the PC the time is correct.
Any idea's?
Note: There are other 8300's with the same OS version that don't exhibit this issue. Only seems to be this one user currently.

Might lead nowhere but as you have 8300s that have no Lotus notes issues and you have one 8300 that has an issue you have them under your control. Take one of the functioning 8300s and do a sise by side compare and note with the errant 8300.
One place to check and confirm settings is Options>Date/Time
Check to see if both units have the same settings. Quite frankly all else being equal that is the only area that I can think of that would account for a one hour time variance.

Upgraded to ios5, now my calendar entries show up twice for a single event

I am not using iCloud to sync my calendars (Exchange for work, Google Calendar for personal). Both calendars show each entry twice, and when I deleted one entry to eliminate the "duplicate", both disappeared. Any thoughts?

My Calendar is also empty. I looked in iCould and it's empty there also.
I'm pondering restoring again from the back up i made before I upgraded to iOS5. But I'm afraid of trusting that the back up has not been changed at some point to a version that has an empty calendar.
Any solutions? I still have the calendar in Outlook.

How to make Outlook 2013 calendar only show specific hours and hide the others that are grayed out

I’d like to show 7am to 10pm thus allowing the rest of the day to be less cramped vertically on my screen. I don't want to see all the grayed out hours which are
outside of business hours. How can I do this?

Right click on the time scale and choose the next smaller scale. It may not help much since 7 -10 is a fairly long period, although with 30 min and the ribbon minimized, i see 7a - 11p on a 24" monitor. You may need to set 7 as the start of your business
day. If you have it set later in options, outlook will start the day at the later time.

MobileMe calendar not showing on iPhone 4 (4.0.1)

In Calendar on my iPhone 4, my MobileMe calendar is not showing up. It was, up until recently, working fine, but I did a Restore (as a new phone) and when I re-added my MobileMe account, the calendar won't show up at all.
My mail, contacts, notes, etc, are fine, and if I go into settings it definitely says Calendar is "On". I tried turning it off, choose "Delete from iPhone", then turn it back on, no luck. I tried removing my MobileMe account and re-adding, no luck.
My other calendars (Subscribition to my g/f's MobileMe calendar, Birthdays, Exchange, etc), are showing fine.
If I go to: https://www.me.com/calendar/beta/, my MobileMe calendar entries show fine.

Is it possible to change timezones without changing time of all your old calendar entries?

moved cities and when I use local timezone all my old calendar entries shift 5 hours. anyway to stop that?

Perhaps I'm reading it wrong, but it tells me to either set it on or off. If I leave it off, then all my entries from when I was living in NY are five hours off because I live in London now. If I turn it on and set it to NY, then all my current entries are off. I need to look back at my calendar (Yahoo) quite a bit, not just for pending appointments.

Palm Desktop 4.2 - Text of color coded calendar entries are hidden for some colors

Environment:
Treo 680
Palm Desktop 4.2 running on Windows XP Pro
Color coded calendar entries have been working great since I got my phone over a year ago. When I added a new color category (bringing my total to 7 categories) I noticed that some of my calendar entries showed the color coded bar for the appointment, but the text for the entry was hidden. Nor was I able to edit the entry using Palm Desktop since any attempt to select the entry tries to create a new entry.
Thinking that I had exceeded a limit for the number of color categories I deleted the new category (so the entries were now unfiled). Now, all but one of my color categories are affected (color bar for appointment, but no text visible), including those marked with a category of "undefined".
The only color that now shows the text for calendar entries is my default category (not unfiled). This affects all of my existing calendar entries and any new ones I create, regardless of whether I create them on the Treo or using Palm Desktop.
If I press <tab> to cycle through my appointments on the page, it selects only those for my default color cateogry where the text of the entry is visible (i.e. it skips all the other appointments).
The calendar entries are all visible on my Treo, thankfully.
I have not installed any new apps or updates.
I've not been able to find anyone else reporting this problem.
My next step will be to restore my backup from last week, but I was hoping to avoid that if possible, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Pardon my ignorance, but where do I set categories to all?
Tools > Categories
Whichever category I select here becomes the default category and its entries will be visible, but all other categories will be hidden. My only other options are New, Delete, Rename and Help.
The only other configuration setting for categories that I can find is under
Tools -> Preferences
I have the checkbox "Display color-coded categories" checked

E65 calendar time is 8 hours out when syncronising...

my calendar entries show up as different times on my phone to what I have entered into my outlook 2003 calendar after I syncronise using the standard nokia sync software. (I downloaded the latest nokia software early Feb 2008). does this calendar problem happen to anyone else, what can I do?

Easy, Set your time to the correct time , then set your 'time zone' to the correct time zone (should find this under your clock settings) and it should fix the problem (we it did for me last weekend, and I've had no issues).

Calendar entries off by 1 hour

I just got an iPod Nano yesterday and told iTunes to sync my calendars and contacts (all of them) and it synced over, but there are 2 problems with the calendar. 1) All my entries are 1 hour before they should be. I checked the events and they're set to US/Pacific time; my Mac is set to Pacific Standard Time and so is the iPod. Looks to me like a daylight savings time bug. Has anyone else seen this. 2) All day events show up at 12 am which it kind of odd.

Hm. I'm still having this problem even after setting all the time zones correctly. I even Restored my iPod nano and still the calendar events are off by an hour. They are correct on my SE T616, however.
I have hundreds of events, many with alarms, set up in iCal and I simply am not going to recreate them all. The only way I can get my nanoPod to display the calendar events correctly is to set the time zone to US Pacific (DST) then adjust the time back one hour. I find this "hack" a bit annoying.
Are there any other solutions to this besides recreating events in iCal?

Iphone Calendar Entries don't show up on Mobile Me

This is new problem - I think it started after I entered the latest ITunes update and MAC OS X (10.6.6)
When I make calendar entries on Mobile Me or ICal, they automatically show up on my IPhone. However, it doesn't work the other way around. I have made calendar entries on my phone and they don't appear on Mobile Me or ICal.
Please HELP!

Syncing Calendar with MobileMe is bi-directional, so if entries get from MobileMe to the phone, entries made on the phone should get to MobileMe (and to your laptop).
The only time I've seen your problem is with a jailbroken phone. Is that the case here? (Still using iOS 4.2...)

Show more hours in calendar week view!?

How do I show more hours in the calendar week view?
In iOS 6 I could see 10 hours, but in iOS 7 I can only see 8 hours. This might nit seem like a big deal, but it's extremely annoying!
And why can I not alter how many hrs I want to see in the preferences...?

You can turn your iPad to portrait mode but that only gets you 4 more hours. Beyond that I don't think there is a way to increase hours shown.

TS4050 I am running Windows 8. Although my contacts and notes from my Ipod touch show up on icloud my calendar entries do not show up even though they do show up in my Google calendar and my windows phone calendar. Any suggestions not already covered?

As I mentioned earlier, you have to decide which calendar you want to use. You can either use Google or iCloud, but not both.
If you want to use your iCloud calendar, go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Account (in the Calendar section) and set this to your iCloud calendar. After doing so, all new events you add to your calendar will be added by default to your iCloud calendar, and as a result, will appear on icloud.com and your computer (if it is syncing calendars with your iCloud account).
If, on the other hand, you want to use your Google calendar (as it sounds like you are doing with your iPod), simply add the same Google calendar to your phone and your computer.
