Synchronized Send for getting results from the database

I am new into XI. I have a scenario where id will be read from a file, a selection to be made from database and the results written to a file. I have created a BPM
receiver -> synchroizedSend(JDBC) -> Send
Please suggest me how to use Synchronized send to execute a query and getting the RsultSets.

Hi
Check this relative thread for the synchronous send step

  • EJB-Archive for getting Data from the DB

    Hello,
    I want to get data from the Database. I created a EJB-Project with an Entity Bean and a Session Bean.
    The jar-Archive that I generated is corrupt. Is that normal?
    Can you provide me with information on database acces?
    In ABAP it would be a piece of cake: Select * from table into ...;-)
    Greetings, Frank

    Hi Frank,
    I see that you are interested in getting data from R/3, please correct me if I'm wrong.
    If that's so, you cannot do it by purely using EJBs, as an entity bean maps to a Table row in the database, which is not quite straight forward in terms of R/3.
    The only way to get data from R/3 is to use
    1)Java + SAP JCO
    2)or a Netweaver technology like Webdynpro + Adaptive RFC
    3)Portal Component + SAP JCO.
    Again, assuming you're dealing with a WebAS server, coming to EJBs, its no different to any other application server. So, you need an RDBMS to use Entity Beans.
    Please let me know if you've got more doubts.

    Rajit

  • ONLY ONE FIELD DOES NOT GET PREPOPULATED FROM THE DATABASE

    I would really, really appreciate if someone can comment or suggest something that would help with the resolution to the issue I am currently experiencing.
    Simple sample form that explains the issue can be accessed from the link below.
    How to test the form:
    Open the form.
    Click on the yellow button to add new Task.
    The problem is with Additional Product fields ( in blue). You can add as many of them as you want by clicking on the Red button with the +. Add some data and uploade in database. When you download it from the database, data will come back fine for all of them, except for the first one.
    Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.
    https://acrobat.com/#d=2vFWOlm56FmrC4owzpfHew
    The code is behind the Red button with the +. Very  simple. Perhaps is the indexing issue with the database. I do not know enough about it, to be able to send any suggestion to the DB guy.
    According to the DB guy, data uploades without issue. It is the blank field when the form with data is downoloaded.

  • Two statements, get results from the first statement?

    Ok maybe I made it sound a little harder than it is, but this is what I am trying to do. I have a result set from from a database call when I pass in the username and password . In the 1st call I get the Users info: User_ID, first_name, lastname, etc...
    But I either need to get info from the first statement, and pass it to the 2nd statement or just do two statement calls calling the same info and passing it to my user object? I dont know which if any is faster, or better. The only thing I need from the first statement is the user_id. In the 2nd statement I need the user_id to find out the user permissions.
    Here is the original code when It was getting the user info and permissions from the same table. try
               dba = new DbAccess();
               java.sql.Connection con = dba.getConnection();
    java.sql.DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:oracle:thin:@kares:1523:appd","user","pass");
               ps = con.prepareStatement("SELECT USER_ID, LAST_NAME, FIRST_NAME, LOGIN, PASSWORD," +
               "X, Y, Z FROM RD_USERS WHERE LOGIN=? and PASSWORD=?");
               ps.setString(1, user);
               ps.setString(2, pass);
               rs = ps.executeQuery();
               // set the user attributes
               if ( rs.next() )
                  loginValid = true;
                  setUserId(rs.getInt("USER_ID"));
                  setLastName(rs.getString("LAST_NAME"));
                  setFirstName(rs.getString("FIRST_NAME"));
                  setLoginName(rs.getString("LOGIN"));
                  setPassword(rs.getString("PASSWORD"));
                  X = rs.getBoolean("X");
                  setX(X);
                  Y = rs.getBoolean("Y");
                  setY(Y);
                  Z = rs.getBoolean("Z");
                  setZ(Z);
               else
                  setLastName(null);
                  setFirstName(null);
                  setLoginName(null);
                  setPassword(null);
                  setX(false);
                  setY(false);
                  setZ(false);
               rs.close(); rs = null;
               ps.close(); ps = null;
               //dba.close(); dba = null;
            } The code above gets the info from one table, I now need to get the X, Y, and Z from a different table, but I need the USER_ID first. So, the first table is set up with the user_id and user info, and the 2nd table is set up with the user_id and user permissions

    Thanks DrClap I started on the the query and I did it a little differently, but it should hopefull do the same thing. my tables are constructed as so:
    USER
         USER_ID
         FIRST_NAME
         LAST_NAME
         USER_NAME
         PASSWORD
         ETC....
    USER_PERMISSIONS
         USER_ID
         PERMISSION X
         PERMISSION Y
         PERMISSION Z
         ETC....
    My Select looks something like this
    ps = con.prepareStatement("SELECT a.USER_ID, a.LAST_NAME, a.FIRST_NAME, a.USER_NAME, a.USER_PASSWORD," +
               "b.X, b.Y, b.Z FROM RD_USERS a, RD_PERMISSIONS b WHERE USER_NAME=? and USER_PASSWORD=?");
    This is where I come to a crossroads, Can I add on another AND to say "WHERE a.USER_ID = b.USER_ID
    and do I use the =, or is it ==, or .equals(). Thanks in advance.

  • Show results from the database to html tables?

    Hi,
    I am a PHP programmer and did a successful CMS program for a company. Now I have another project which is a web based system.
    I basically know how to do it and finish it in PHP.. but I am trying to do it using J2EE.. I am trying to learn J2EE now since I have been programming
    on J2SE for quite sometime..
    I am trying to show the results from a MySQL database on a table on J2EE but I am having hard time doing that. I am trying to research online and reading books but with no luck I can't find any resources on how to do that..If you guys can lead me into a resource where I can read how to do it? or just give any ideas on how to do it correctly I'll try to read and learn I will very much appreciate it.. here's my coding please look at it. Thank you very much
    I want to make it like this in a html table:
    userid username activated task
    1 alvin y delete(this will be a link to delete the user)
    Right now this is what I was able to do so far:
    Userid username activated task
    1
    alvin
    y
    Here are my codes... I am not even sure if I am doing it in the correct way...
    User.java
    mport java.sql.Connection;
    import java.sql.ResultSet;
    import java.sql.SQLException;

    String sql = "select * from users";
    ResultSet rs = stmt.executeQuery(sql);
    while(rs.next())
    String userid = rs.getString("user_id");
    String usernames = rs.getString("user_name");
    String password= rs.getString("password");
    String activated= rs.getString("activated");
    names.add(userid);
    names.add(usernames);
    names.add(password);
    names.add(activated);

    while(it.hasNext()){
    out.print("<tr><td> " + it.next()+"</td></tr>");
    out.print("</table>");

    </html>

    I suggest:
    1: you use this:
    e.printStackTrace()
    instead of this:
    System.out.print(e);
    so it will tell you what line it crashed on.
    2: In the code below,here is how you mix coding html tags and java scriptlets
    (you should never have to use out.print()):. In a later project, you can learn how to use JSTL
    instead of java scriplets (I suggest using java scriptlets for now until you have more JSP experience).
    FROM:
    <html>
    <%
    //some java code goes here
    out.print("<th>");
    //some more java code goes here
    out.print("<tr>");
    %>
    TO:
    <html>
    <% //some java code goes here%>
    <th>
    <%//some more java code goes here%>
    <tr>
    3: Put a lot of System.println() statements in your *.java classes to verify what its doing (you can learn how to use a debugger later).
    4: I highly recommend reading a book on JSP/servlets cover to cover.
    Here's a simple MVC design approach I previously posted:

  • How do I get results from the LMS?

    I have created an assessment with click boxes, and question slides in Captivate3.  I place the course on our LMS (CornerstoneOnDemand) and users can take the course, see their score at the end, and if they pass, the course is marked completed.  That is all working.
    What I want to know is how can I know which questions people are getting wrong?
    In Captivate I noticed Objective ID and Interaction ID fields on the Reporting tab for the click boxes, so I am thinking I could put in an name/label that would make sense so I know which question (clickbox) is what.
    Is a file created that stores all this information (user's input, selections, results)?  If so, what is that file, how do I access it, what is it called?
    Please help.
    Larena

    I'm not using your LMS, but a LMS based on Blackboard. When the option 'Interactions and Score' is activated in CP-Quiz settings, the gradebook in Blackboard can be used to open for each student the file associated with his score. In this file you'll find all answers, but it helps if you use some meaningful identifiers for the items. It is also possible to download the result files for all the students. I believe this should be a functionality of the LMS/SCORM but cannot help you with the name of the file.

  • Suddenly getting UserNotFoundException: User Not Found: Could not load profile data from the database

    Starting yesterday (I believe) we are suddenly receiving a "User not found" error when trying to view a user's profile page when clicking on their name (in search or elsewhere) via the url
    https://www.contoso.org/Person.aspx?accountname=contoso%255Cmyuserlogin
    This is happening for all users. (but profiles exist and seem ok, and sync with AD is running fine) When looking in the logs I see the error  (full ULS log is later below)
    Exception in LoadRequestedUserProfile: (Microsoft.Office.Server.UserProfiles.UserNotFoundException: User Not Found: Could not load profile data from the database.
    The only clue of what MAY be going on is just before that I see the following two lines which came up after I changed the Database logging to Verbose:
    ConnectionString: 'Data Source=INSTANCE;Initial Catalog=UPAPROFILEDB;Integrated Security=True;Enlist=False;Pooling=True;Min Pool Size=0;Max Pool Size=100;Connect Timeout=15;Application Name=SharePoint[w3wp][3][UPAPROFILEDB]'    Partition:
    NULL ConnectionState: Closed ConnectionTimeout: 15
    SQL connection time: 0.0456 for Data Source=INSTANCE;Initial Catalog=UPAPROFILEDB;Integrated Security=True;Enlist=False;Pooling=True;Min Pool Size=0;Max Pool Size=100;Connect Timeout=15;Application Name=SharePoint[w3wp][3][HNet3_Svc_Prod_UPA_Profile]
    If I am reading that correctly, does it mean the connection to the database is timing out instantly? I am able to use powershell to pull up profiles and print them to the screen while on the webservers. And it's only the one specific page that is not
    working.
    What sort of tests or further debugging can I do for the error above?
    We are on premise, SharePoint 2013 sp1, sql2012, server 2012, claims using the full SharePoint Profiile Sychronization against AD.  Farm has been running since last august. Last week the admin team did run windows update on all servers, I can't be sure
    if it was broken for 5 days and no one noticed or if it broke yesterday.
    I already did the following:
    Verified the profiles do exist in central admin.
    I can still access their personal sites directly via
    https://www.contoso.org/personal/myuserlogin
    I checked the ProfileDB database and made sure the service accounts for the UPA has dbowner, so does the farm account, and the web application pool has SPDataAccess.
    Verified the AD sync account has proper rights in AD.
    I reran a full synchronization which ran with no errors.
    File systems on the webservers and appserver have plenty of free space.
    Rebooted every server in farm
    I even checked the bin directory of the mysite webapplication, (since once I had a weird problem where access to bin was removed.) WSS_ADMIN_WPG, WSS_RESTRICTED_WPG_W4 have full control and WSS_WPG,IIS_IUSRS all have read and execute.
    I opened powershell on the webserver I can indeed load profiles and print their values.

  • When and how does the message context get removed from the message when we use pass thru send port

    Friends,
    i have a doubt regarding message context.
    Assume i have used XMLRecieve pipeline in the receive side to receive the message so that the message context is created. I.e properties are promoted/written.
    now if we use pass thru transmit pipe line at send side, how and when does the message context get removed from the message?? Since pass thru does not have any stages/components, how does the message context removed and sent out a pure message to destination???
     i mean what exactly happens here to remove the context??
    Ravindar

    Thanks for the reply.
    "The Context is created by the Adapter, regardless of any Pipeline or Pipeline Component.  It has nothing to do with PassThrough vs. XmlReceive, although XmlReceive will write Promoted Properties to the existing Context,
    as can any other Component."
    yeah yeah, adapter does create some properties in context. You are right, i am aware of it. I just missed to explain it clearly. what i meant is addition of context properties will not happen if pass thru used. Thanks its clear.
    "No.  The Context already exists on the Message when it comes from the MessageBox and
    is equally available to any Component in any Stage.  The Context that hits the Pipeline is whatever was last Persisted, either by a Receive Port or Orchestration.  It is not created by the XmlAssembler (XmlTransmit)"
    You are right , the context already exists on the message while it leaves the receive port, and once it persists
    to message box the context and message context gets stored in messages in relative tables.
    Now as you said the components get the message from the last persistence, assume i have a send port(with passthru)
    subscriber and a orchestration subsrciber for this message.
    Orchestration gets the message with context right!!
    if the send sendport(with passthru) also gets message along with context, then where is this context removed/demoted
    while sending it out?.  i guess as per SAAkhlaq said,
    here sendport(with passthru) should get a pure message without context as passthru used.
    or is it that ultimately send adapter removes the context completely?
    or is it something like biztalk run time load the context from database into cache and both orchestration and send port gets pure message, and if needed they use context from cache???
    sorry i may be troubling you, but i am confused. i hope i am not creating any nuisance with this
    post.

  • The Remote Desktop Connection Broker server could not enumerate the targets for the provider named NULL from the database.

    When I try to install Connection Broker on a Windows 2012 R2 Server in a Windows 2003 domain I get this error:
    The Remote Desktop Connection Broker server could not enumerate the targets for the provider named NULL from the database.
    Pooled virtual desktop collection name: NULL
    Error: Logon to the database failed.
    I have added both the Connection Broker server and the 2 remote desktop servers (also Windows 2012 R2 Servers) to the "Windows Authorization Access Group" in the domain according to this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/331951
    But it still does not work :-(
    I keep getting same error....
    Any idea what I might be missing ?

    Hi,
    Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
    Firstly please let us know by which method you have setup RDS role. You can have more advantage and feature when you will install with Standard deployment instead of Quick start deployment. So if you have setup with quick start option then you can try installing
    with standard type and check the result.
    In addition, please check SQL server database is properly configured for RDS server. Also check that domain controller properly communicates. Kindly go through below thread for more information.
    Server 2012 RDS - Remote
    Desktop Connection Broker Client failed to redirect the user domain\username. Error: NULL
    Hope it helps!
    Thanks.

  • Is it possible to read , send emails from the database in oracle8.

    Hi,
    My present project needs me to send emails from the database through procedures. There is an oracle package UTL_HTTP in oracle8 which could be used to read emails from database. So kindly tell how to go about sending an email from the database. Is this feature available in Oracle8i.
    Thank you.

    Okay , Here's my Javascript wgich is in an onload process.
    Javascript variable addr_str displays the correct result.
    My hidden field is called P101_CHECKVAL.
    <html>
    <title>CodeAve.com(JavaScript: Display All URL Variables)</title>
    <body bgcolor="#FFFFFF">
    <script language="JavaScript">
    <!--
    // Create variable is_input to see if there is a ? in the url
    var is_input = document.URL.indexOf('P101_CHECKVAL:');
    // Check the position of the ? in the url
    if (is_input != -1)
    // Create variable from ? in the url to the end of the string
    addr_str = document.URL.substring(is_input+1, document.URL.length);
    // Loop through the url and write out values found
    // or a line break to seperate values by the &
    for (count = 0; count < addr_str.length; count++)
    if (addr_str.charAt(count) == "&")
    // Write a line break for each & found
    {document.write ("<br>");}
    else
    // Write the part of the url
    {document.write (addr_str.charAt(count));}
    // If there is no ? in the url state no values found
    else
    {document.write("No values detected");}
    -->
    </script>
    </body>
    </html>
    Everytime I put the HTML_get code into the javascript, it basically tells me I have an error on the page. So what exactly do I put that sets P101_CHECKVAL equal to the value of addr_str?

    The Oracle documentation has a good overview of the options available
    Generating XML Data from the Database
    Without knowing your version, I just picked 11.2, so you made need to look for that chapter in the documentation for your version to find applicable information.
    You can also find some information in XML DB FAQ

  • ADF BC - How to get validation picked up from the database.

    Is there a way the ADF BC can be created so it contains the check constraints from the database?
    I assume if it did, it would pre-fill the "validation" branch in the Entity Object Editor.

    Frank,
    Thank you very much for your reply. I've set "valuePassThrough" property of the dropdownlist to true. In the valueChangeListener, my code looks like this.
    public void TD_valueChangeListener(ValueChangeEvent valueChangeEvent) {
    System.out.println("+++++++++");
    System.out.println("TD_valueChangeListener");
    Number n = null;
    BindingContainer bc = this.getBindings();
    if(bc != null){
    System.out.println("bc is not null");
    //get the selected TD
    FacesCtrlListBinding TdIter = (FacesCtrlListBinding)bc.get("LandLegalView1Td");
    if(TdIter != null){
    System.out.println("TdIter is not null");
    if(valueChangeEvent.getNewValue() != null)
    try{n = new Number(valueChangeEvent.getNewValue());}
    catch(Exception e){
    e.getMessage();
    System.out.println("selected TD index="+n);
    //Object td = TdIter.getAttributeFromRow(n.intValue(), "Td");
    Object td = TdIter.getAttribute(n.intValue());
    System.out.println("real value of td=" + td);
    }else{
    System.out.println("TD is null");
    }else{
    System.out.println("TdIter is null");
    My question here is: I tried two ways of getting the real value of the new selected value. One is "Object td = TdIter.getAttributeFromRow(n.intValue(), "Td");". The other is "Object td = TdIter.getAttribute(n.intValue());". None of them give me the new selected value but the old value. Did I do anything wrong?

  • Why do I get two different results from the same coefficients?

    I am getting two different results from the Polynomial Evaluation function.
    For the first one, I am getting the coefficients from a Polynomial Fit function.  I feed the coefficients from the Fit function into the Poly Eval function and get the correct result of 12.8582 when I evaluate 49940.
    For the second one, I create constant array of the SAME values that were returned from the Polynomial Fit function (i typed them in).  However, I am getting an incorrect result of -120.7913 when I feed the constant array into the Poly Eval function when I evauate 49940.
    How can this happen when I am using the same array values?
    Attached is an image of what I am explaining.

    Hi Altran,
    are you sure about using the "same" coefficients?
    Did you compare them? Did you (atleast) set the display properties to 17 significant digits?
    Please attach a VI instead of a picture...

    This I am getting the exception and code is
