What is this? and avdvis?

Hi
I find similar 80040109-50A-80040109-560 case. I post resolution. Maybe it is helpful to you.
Now the resolution would include many things.
• The first one is to use the recommended setting which is to have only one store interacting with the Mailbox at a time.
• But sometimes it becomes unavoidable to use this recommended settings and we would have to deviate from it.
• When such deviation is observed the following registry modification can be made to get a conflict resolution.
o Outlook 2003 –
§ [HKCU]\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Options\ConflictMsgCls
§ Specify the type of the value as DWORD (eg. IPM.Note, IPM.Post,
IPM.Appointment etc.)
o Outlook 2010 –
§ [HKCU]\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\Options\ConflictMsgCls
§ Specify the type of the value as DWORD (eg. IPM.Note, IPM.Post,
IPM.Appointment etc.)
The data of the value as one of the values shown in the following table, depending on the resolution scheme you choose.
Data
Description
0 Common item resolution that requires a user decision, as used in Outlook 2002 and earlier versions.
1 Common item resolution that requires minimal user intervention, as used in Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007, and Outlook 2010.
2 Resolution specific to mail items.
3 Resolution specific to meeting items.
4 Resolution specific to appointment items.
5 Resolution specific to contact items.
6 Resolution specific to task items.
7 Resolution specific to sticky note items.
8 Resolution specific to journal items.
• To understand a the default message classes in Outlook please refer to the following MSDN article
o Item types and message classes - http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa204771(v=office.11).aspx
• If the item in question is using a custom form then you need to first know its message class.
• If you want to specify the mail item-specific resolution scheme for the custom message class (one of the examples was IPM.Note.VOICE
in your case), you can add it as a DWORD value under the above specified Registry Path and specify the value as 2.
• Any custom message class can be given a value from 2 to 8 depending on the preceding Message class (example if it is IPM.Note.VOICE
then the value for Mail Items which is 2 can be used.)
• If you specify one of the item-specific resolution schemes (key data 2 through 8), Outlook will try to resolve conflicts
in item-specific fields (for example, Start and End fields of an appointment item) automatically without user intervention. If Outlook considers that the resolution may result in the loss of essential data, Outlook will retain conflicting copies in the Conflicts
folder, and users can choose to go to the Conflicts folder to manually re-resolve these items and override the automatic resolution.

    [Cause]
    ============
It is a known issue. This issue occur when you have Organizational Forms Library feature enabled on Exchange Server. When Outlook tries to sync the folder (All the Organization
Forms store in the Exchange Server’s Public Folder Database -> System Folders ->EFORMS Registry), an unexpected sync error occurs. However, this does not mean this behavior infects the Organization Forms data
synchronization. We have done tests on serval machines. The result is users can still use
Organizational Forms properly with this error
    synchronization log in Outlook.
    [Solution]
    ============
    You have two options:
    1. Just safely ignore this error because there is no user impacts.
    2. If you don’t need the Organizational Forms Library feature, you can just disable this feature to workaround this issue.

  • Error synchronizing folder

for some reason, all of our win7 clients running outlook 2010 in cached exchange mode receive thousands of synchronization log message every morning when they wake their desktops. anecdotally seems to be worse if they leave outlook running overnight, also

    80070005 means a permission issue.
It seems the “stark tony” user have the permission issue when syncing the the “luthor, lex” and “richards, reed”
    user’s calendars.
Please verify if the “luthor, lex” and “richards, reed” have grant the appropriate permissions for the “stark tony”

To workaround this, delete the shared calendar of “luthor, lex” and “richards, reed” users in “stark tony” Outlook.

  • Constant Outlook Sync Issues After Migrating Mailbox 2003- 2010

    Hi all,
I am trekking along with my Exchange 2010 implementation and yesterday I went ahead and migrated my mailbox from 2003 to 2010.  I am able to send/receive without issue, but I am having a lot of Sync Issues.
Some of the issues (conflicts) seemed to be resolved by removing and recreating my Mail profile within Control Panel, but I still get Sync Issues when sending mail.  The logs look as follows:
    11:03:51 Synchronizer Version 14.0.4760
    11:03:51 Synchronizing Mailbox 'Paul Newell'
11:03:51 Synchronizing local changes in folder 'Drafts'
    11:03:51 Uploading to server 'CAS-HUB.domain.local'
11:03:51 Synchronization of some deletions failed.

     [0-130]
    11:03:51
1 item(s) deleted in online folder
    11:03:51 Done
Any ideas on what is going on and how to remedy this?  The only thing that I see that is a little odd is that the "Updating server" section has the name of my CAS/HT server, not my Mailbox server.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Andy,
Thanks for the link.  I actually found
this one which told how to create them via Exchange Shell.  That article also said you cannot manage Managed Folders through the EMC in 2010 SP1.  Furthermore, in my EMC (Retention Policies tab) I have an option to "Port from Managed
Folder to Tag", which leads me to believe that the "Retention Policies" and "Retention Policy Tags" are replacing "Managed Folders".  Heck, even pressing F1 in the EMC while viewing the "Retention Policy Tags" I get a "Content cannot be found" page.
    :p
I venture to believe these are the same thing though (just a different verbiage or an update to the Managed Folders) as I have a ton of default tags created that have actions such as "Delete and Allow Recovery" with an Age Limit for Retention of various
day-lengths.  I was also able to create one here to delete items in the "Sync Issues" folder after 30 days.
Is this new with 2010 SP1 or did I get some crazy version that no one knows about yet?  ;)
    Thanks again!

  • Inconsistent JTAPI version between IP-IVR and CUCM

    Hi,
we are experiencing a problem between CUCM and IP-IVR. Each time we try to log on IP-IVR administration, we can observe a message indicating that JTAPI versions between CUCM and IP-IVR are inconsistent. We have tried to synchronize versions using synchronize task from IP-IVR administration unsuccesfully.
The IP-IVR works fine, but the message is so annoying.
    Any ideas?
    Regards

If you are using a Linux CUCM and the associated IP IVR version for this, go to Start->Run and type 'cet'
    Click No at the prompt
    Click on ClusterDependentConfig
Double click on the node you are working on. Most likely the one with Key Value of 1
    Click on the ClusterDependentConfig tab
Match the string next to JTAPI version to what is found in the jcu*.log in C:\
You may have multiple jcu.log files, so open up jcuCurrentLog.txt to see which one is the current log file.
It should take the form of "7.1(2.10000)-3" or similar.
Post back if you are not using a Linux version of CUCM and I'll give you the process for Windows.

This occurs if Naomi shares her Calendar with me, without granting me read "Full Details", if she changes the permissions and allows me to read Full Details, the sync error goes away.
It's repeatable, i have tested it with a few users sharing calendars with each other, and changing permissions.
The peculiar thing is that Naomi is in My Team, so her calendar is listed under Team Calendar,  I get no sync errors, it's only when I add Naomi's Calendar as a Shared Calendar and don't have read Full Access permission that the sync errors appear.
User's don't necessarily want to give Full Access to their Calendars, so that's not really a viable work around for us, this smells very much like a bug with outlook, is anyone else seeing this?

  • Items not visible in Cached Exchange Mode Outlook 2013

Outlook 2013, exchange 2010 14.2.247.5. I know it's an older version and I'll update if I need to.
So this is a tough one. I noticed one day while on a conference call that I was not receiving into my inbox an email that was just sent to me with a power point presentation. When I took it out of cached mode I saw the emails, 3 that were sent in total.
So I toggled cached mode, online mode a few times and adjusted the sync period and they started showing up in my inbox in cached mode.
Problems never go away that easy!!!!!!
So today I went into a shared account and in a particular folder there were missing items. Mostly items with attachments. There were a few emails listed about 15 or so but there are close to 2,000 emails in that folder mostly all with attachments. I deleted
the OST and there is no difference, still the same number of emails as before.
Tried the toggle routine but that didn't have any effect.
So I right click on the folder and go to properties and click the synchronization tab. It says "Last synchronized on: Never" , though there are items displayed, even after deleting the OST. It also says "Server folder contains 2,007"
    and "Offline folder contains 12".
So I click filter and more choices and none of the options will allow me to sync all types of emails so I chose "Only items with:" and selected "one or more attachments".
All the emails with attachments are now visible and now the properties still says "Last synchronized on: Never" but now "Server folder contains: 2,007" and "Offline folder contains: 1,998".
Well I then clear the filter and low and behold, "Last syncronized on: Never" "folder contains: 2,007" and "Offline folder contains:" wait for it..................     "2,007"! And new items with attachments
    are coming in.
WHAT THE _____. This is BAD because I am tasked with rolling out Office 2013 and caching is a must for my environment! But I cannot go live with such a bug or misconfiguration.
I've seen a few threads around the interweb about similar situations but nothing very clear and no real troubleshooting details.

Ok, I did more digging this time on the exchange server. I get see this error in the event viewer.

So Why is this happening. I read it will cause all kinds of sync problems. Is it because I have a whole bunch of shared accounts in my folder list? I know I certainly don't have 500 folders!
I also just stumbled across this sub folder "Sync Issues" and "Local Failures" when looking at the number of folders I have and a whole bunch of errors.

  • Multiple Calenders on Mobile devices

    Hi,
In GroupWise I have my main calendar and then there are additional calendars as well. (Whether created or shared)
When I sync my mail account to my phone, only the main calendar syncs across and not the others.
Is this a limitation or is there a setting I can change to get all Calendars Syncd?
    GroupWise 2012
Data Synchronizer Version: 1.2.5 Build: 299
    iOS and Android devices.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
This is a limitation in your version of Data Synchronizer (1.2.5 Build xxx). Only the main calendar will sync.
In the GroupWise client, you can select the personal [not shared] calendars from which you want appointments displayed in the main GroupWise Calendar. However, when calendar data is synchronized to your mobile device, all appointments are synchronized into the main calendar on the mobile device, regardless of which personal calendars you have selected in GroupWise. This is working as designed at present.
    Cheers,

    Hi Top,
Please performing the deleting action as Administrator for testing if it is convenient.
If we can do this via Administrator, it should be an permission issue. Please double check whether we modified the owner's permission.
According to the log said, I found a point "There is not enough memory available to perform the operation."
Can we add a contact via Owner?

  • Excel 2010 not gaining focus correctly

I am seeing this on my own workstation, but I'm being asked about it by more and more clients lately - Excel 2010 seems to have odd focus issues. For example:
    a) When opening an Excel spreadsheet from Windows Explorer, Excel opens, appears to have focus and does correctly open on top of other open windows, displays the file and I can edit cells, but I cannot click anything in the Ribbon bar or menus. In order
to gain access to menu items I first have to lose focus (by clicking to another open application, the Task Bar or Desktop - anything that takes focus away from Excel) and then click back into Excel, whereupon the menu items now work correctly.
    b) If Excel is already open and I open another Excel file from Windows Explorer, the new window isn't brought forward - it remains behind the previously open spreadsheet. In addition, Excel isn't given focus at all in this situation - it is retained by Windows
Explorer (which may or may not be open on the same screen as Excel, although it's more obvious if they overlap as Excel clearly remains behind the Explorer window). Additionally, if all existing spreadsheets are closed but Excel remains open and I open a spreadsheet
from Explorer, the same behaviour occurs (ie Excel fails to gain focus and it is retained by Explorer).
My personal workstation is running Windows 7 Pro x64 SP1 (this behaviour was evident before SP1's release) and Excel 2010 version 14.0.4760.1000 (32-bit). I have seen it occuring on other PCs using both 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows 7 Pro and Excel
2010 (all 32-bit). While the workaround is relatively simple, it's still frustrating (and more than a little confusing for many non-technical people - one of my clients has been frustrated by this for weeks before I discovered she was experiencing the issue).
I find it a little strange that I have been unable to find references to this problem anywhere (and I've been looking on-and-off for several months now). Maybe I'm just looking for the wrong things... Any help that can be provided will be greatly appreciated.
    Trevor Hardy

I'm really not sure about the ethics of people being able to mark their own replies as accepted answers on here...
Jennifer, thank you for attempting to assist with this problem. Unfortunately your suggestion doesn't alleviate the issue.
As I thought I made clear in my first post, this issue is being seen when opening Excel spreadsheets directly from Explorer (or a desktop shortcut or similar, which is just an Explorer instance anyway) - it doesn't occur if you open files from within Excel.
Therefore, opening Excel in Safe Mode has no effect - you can open one instance of Excel in safe mode, but when you open another Excel file from outside Excel, of course it opens another instance of Excel in normal mode and the same symptoms are evident.
However, your suggestion regarding add-ins was a sensible one, so I manually removed the two Adobe Acrobat add-ins that were active on my workstation (the only add-ins installed) but unfortunately that hasn't made any difference. I should also point out
that these add-ins aren't installed on the other PCs that are experiencing this issue, either, as they are used in wholly different environments.
I'll be setting up Office 2010 on some new PCs in a couple of days, so I'll do some testing of those to see if I can replicate it on virgin systems.

  • Outlook Shared Contacts Sync Issue

**Before i start, i posted this in the Outlook section and was told to post it the Outlook for Exchange section.. So i posted this in the Outlook for Exchange section and the Moderator tells me to post it in the
Outlook section.. So i'm being thrown in a loop back and forth between two forums.  Please help me either post it in the correct section or help me with my issue.  Links to my posts are at the bottom of this re-post.**
I have a user who adds emails to the "Notes" section of a shared contact.  It has worked in the past.  She now drags and drops the email into the notes folder, it shows that the email was added, she saves the contact, closes the contact,
then reopens the contact and the information/email that was added is no longer there.
Also, when she opens up the contact, on the top of the window it says "This item was not completely updated during the last server synchronization"
On the bottom of the contact's window it says "Last modified by [email protected] on 11/19/2014"  So it doesn't seem to have updated for about 5 months.
The user is on Outlook 2010 - Cached Mode - Windows 7
    We use Exchange 2013

    Hi Allen,
Neither are correct.  They open a contact in their address book and drag the email into the "Notes" section of the contact.  So they do not drag the email into the Notes section of Outlook nor the Contacts section to create a new contact.
There are no errors.  I have a screenshot with an example contact card but i can't add it because it says i need to verify my account.. I'm not sure how to do that.  I already clicked on the verification email.  For example.  An email
to me from Bill titled "company announcement" is dragged into the notes section of in Bill's contact card.  This is so that i can go to my contacts, click on bill's card, and see emails from him that are important saved inside his contact card.
After dragging the email into this location, I hit save and close the contact card.  Usually the email stays there in the notes section but lately when I reopen the contact card, the email that I dropped into the Notes section has disappeared.  Other
emails are still in the Notes section but new ones just don't stay.
Just tried doing a Send/Receive All and same issue.  User is in cached mode because they have a large mailbox.  Can try online mode.  Do you know if the Notes section in the contact list has
    a size limit?

    Hi,
    Please try below steps:
    - Remove all organizational forms libraries (subfolders under EFORMS Registry) if they are not needed, and re-create the Outlook profile of affected users.
    - Alternatively, if the organizational forms libraries are needed, remove the replica from Exchange 2010 and re-add it
    Best Regards!
