I cleared the Calendar database (through BDM) but still no joy.  Anyone have any suggestions?

I had the same problem, but I fixed it by reconfiguring the items to sync.  Go into the Blackberry Desktop Manager, then click onto Snchronize.  On that page in the upper left hand corner click onto Synchronization which is under Configuration.  Redo.  Make sure that you check the box for Synchronize Automatically.  That is what worked for me.

  • Synchronizing Calendars with iPhone/iPod Touch

For those of us stuck in the Windows environment that do not use Outlook, there is a BIG problem synchronizing Calendars with an iPhone (or iPod Touch). It would be so helpful for Apple to open the API so programs like Sync-In-A-Blink could be written for the Calendar. I do not understand why the API is not available

  • Error Synchronizing Calendar using Desktop Manager 4.7, Outlook 2003, on the Storm

I just installed Desktop Manager on my PC (Windows XP).

    "Processing Device Calendar" goes fine.
"Reading from MS Outlook Calendar" is where the error happens:

there is a method involving enabling detailed logs on the Desktop Manager. Then it will give information about that 227th item. check the forum or th public knowledge base (click on the "SUPPORT" button on top of the present page)
if I were you, I'd just wipe the calendar database on the device, do the sync, and when it stops : open the calendar on the device and see the last event synchronized. it should be the 226th.

  • How can I view all synchronized calendars online?

I have multiple calendars: my private google calendar, calendars from two institutes where I work and my iCal. Everything shows up well on my iPhone and my MacBook Pro.
My problem is that I want to be able to access all those on the go from my office PC online. When I log in to my iCal online, it only gives me my iCal events but none of the other synchronized events. How can I bring everything up when I am away from my MacBook?
    Thanks!

  • Synchronizing calendars and contacts using 2 computers and 2 iphones

my husband and I both have a MacBook Pro; we both have an iPhone. Lucky us! We want to be able to synchronize our calendars and contacts on each other's computers. How can we do this without over-writing each other's calendars and address book? We both use Ical and Address book. At the very least, it would be helpful have my husband's work calendar and my home calendar integrated AND our contacts. Please tell me how to accomplish this. Thank you.

  • Synchronizing calendar with Yahoo

In the older version of the Desktop Manager software, one of the options offered for synchronizing my Blackberry with my computer was Yahoo.  With the new version of Desktop Manager (5.0.1) this option does not appear.  Is this no longer available?  I would rather not change to Microsoft Outlook (there seem to be lots of problems synching with that).  Any suggestions?

  • Synchronizing Calendar with calDAV "forgets" to synchronize appointments

    Hi,
I'm using thunderbird and lightning with a groupware caldav server. It's working fine, except for a few selected appointments that show up in the web-interface of the groupware - however, they are never synched to lightning.
I would like to solve this, so my first thought was to investigate in th error console. However, there is no error following a sync of the calendar. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe your outlook calendar includes something which cause problems in phone's calendar.
    Try this:
    1. Create a new Calendar to Outlook and set PC Sync to using it (PC Sync > Settings > Microsoft Outlook > Select folder > set the new Calendar in use)
    2. Clear your phones Calendar (maybe there is option for that)
    3. Start synchronize -> if it is working, copy some of items from old Calendar to new one and sync again...(
You should able to find Calendar item which cause problem in phone side. If you find the reason, let me known about it.

  • Synchronizing Calendar with Outlook Marks Everyday of the Year as an Event

Scenario: 2nd Generation Touch 32GB, Windows XP Pro SP3, Outlook 2003
Prior to purchasing my touch last week, I have been able to successfully synchronize my calendar and contacts with my iPod Classic.
My new iPod Touch synchronizes my contacts and calendar with Outlook; however, my iPod Touch also marks everyday of the year (including those without events) with a Dot to indicate that something is occuring that day. Thus, I have to click on each day to determine when there is an actual event. The iPod Touch seems partially aware that there are no events for these days because it displays "no events" when you scroll to those days. HHHEELLPPP!
How do I prevent the iPod Touch from marking everyday of the year with the a dot to indicate that an event is scheduled for that day? Is there an obsure setting causing this behavior?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi Fullerms,
you have a couple of options:
Mail for Exchange -- will sync to your Exchange server over the air (flat rate data plan strongly recommended) just like the WiMo devices do. I do this since about two years, first with my E61i and now with my E71. Fast, simple, and easy.
SyncML -- services such as Funambol and others can let you run this option. To sync my Exchange at work and Outlook at home, I'm using a local copy of Funambol (plus always-on DSL plus DynDNS and a few trix), although there are also some open Funambol-based services you can use. You will need to install a Funambol sync client on your PC, but it's not the Nokia PC Suite!
Other options that come to mind could be Google Calendar and similar -- somehwere a server in the sky where you dump your calendar and contacts regulary and sync them up to the phone.
    My personal recommendation is MfE.

  • Problem for synchronizing calendars between my iPOD 30GB and OUTLOOK 2003

    Hello,
I arrive to synchronize my contacts between my iPOD and OUTLOOK 2003 via iTunes, but not the calendars.
    Thank you for your help

If you have EVER sync'd Outlook 2003 with a PDA then iTunes will throw an error when trying to sync Calendars.
    THE FIX:
    Delete all calendar entries
(an easy way to do this is in Calendar select VIEW > Arrange By > Current View > Events)
Then Delete all entries by highlighting them all right click and select delete!
NOTE: You may have to repeat VIEW > ARRANGE By > Current View > {other categories in list i.e. "Category" and/or "Annual Events" and/or "Recurring Appointments"} To find all the entries that need to be deleted.
Once all of the calendar data is deleted you can re-input the data, but you can never sync it with a PDA otherwise you will develop the original problem again.
WHY DOES THIS WORK? Simply when a PDA syncs with Outlook it places a unique hidden identifer on each entry which screws up iTunes ability to sync with your calendars.
Hope this is clear and helps someone.

  • Help synchronizing calendar

I recently switched from a Tungsten T5 and Windows XP to a Centro (AT&T) and Windows Vista.  I had trouble syncing, but have now been able to sync via Bluetooth.  Everything but my calendar, that is.  When I try to sync the calendar, it gets "stuck" and will not complete the hot sync operation.  I have to cancel it and perform a soft reset.  If I configure it to sync  everything except the calendar, it works fine.  Any suggestions?

Sounds like the calendar on the device has become corrupted. I have seen it happen most often when going from an older version of palm desktop to palm desktop 6.2.
What you should do is get a program called dbfixit
    1. Go to www.pimlicosoftware.com
    2. Download a trial version of dbfixit
    3. Install to your device
    4. Run it and see if there are any errors
If there are it will tell you what ones there are and you can manually fix the errors. If you decide to purchase the program it will fix the errors for you.

    Hello,
    I'm currently using vista x64 + outlook 2007 and synchronising a N95 (01.01) with the latest firmware (v 31.0.0.15 07-11-08 RM-320) and latest pc suite (7.1.18).
My synchronised calendar entries show 1 hour later on the N95.
f.ex. outlook 2007 calendar entry is at 14h, it is shown at 15h on the N95 screen.
What ever I try, reinstalling firmware, deleting calendar entries, resynchronising etc ... nothing helped !
The clock on the N95 screen is correct!
I have the following settings on the n95:
    a) time zone GMT+1:00 Brussels
    b) "time zone: local time"
    c) "network operator time: auto-update"
(setting "network operator time" did NOT help!"
This starts to get really annoying .... has annyone a clue on how to solve this issue?
    Thanks a lot!!!

    Hi didierlux
i have the same problem, and i am using outlook 2007 as well.
i got it fixed, you need to have both time setting on the PC and on the Phone to be the same ( i.e. GMT +1 brussels).

Quickly hit the start menu button twice and that should go back to the today screen and use like a PDA.  Due note that a restart and/or using cellular stuff could trigger the SIM card requirement again.
