Synchronizing iTunes playlist to windows mobile phone (PPC)?

does anyone have a good way to copy the contents of an iTunes (running on my Mac) playlist to a USB-connected Windows Mobile phone (PPC running WM6.5)? I want the audio files (no DRM) copied onto my SD card.

aha! cool - that works, thanks. The only problem I found is that the tracks are now listed in filename (or date or whatever) order, of course not the order they had in the playlist. This will be a problem when playing back because a bunch of them are named 01-book A, 01-book B, 02-book A, 02-book B etc. (chapter, then book name). In the playlist, they were grouped by book, but the phone's media player will see them interspersed

First of all, are you using a Windows Phone (windows phone 7 or 7.5) or a Windows Mobile (6.1, 6.5) phone?
Windows Mobile phones are generally not compatible with macs for USB internet tethering. They do work OK by sharing via Bluetooth or Wifi.

The XML file(s) I had for:
Generic_21_WindowsMobile_Phone_landscape.xml
Generic_21_WindowsMobile_Phone_portrait.xml
--were dated 10/13/2006, replaced with newer version,
11/15/2006 and problem is solved. I don't know the differences btwn
the newer and older.
These files reside in:
C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Flash
8\en\Configuration\Mobile\Devices
NOT in:
C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application
Data\Macromedia\Flash 8\en\Configuration\Mobile\Devices

I've been having exactly the same problem. I think I finally figured it out.
I use my Microsoft account for Skype. It has an email address that is different from the one I used to register for the Translator Preview. So I just re-registered for the Skype Translator Preview using my Skype (microsoft) email address. Now I wait, but I'm willing to bet that they are using email addresses to enroll us. And if they don't match, you get this "not activated" message.
It seems so obvious to me now. But I think a little explaination about the email would be in order on the registration page.

Lowered it to under 500Kb and it started working...

Hello everyone, I juts got the AT&T HTC Kaiser with Windows mobile 6... is it possible to syn my itunes music with my device through the Active Sync.

Only the iPod/iPhone range and the iTunes enabled phones from Motorola are compatible with iTunes for Windows and with songs from the iTunes Music Store. If your phone shows up in Windows Explorer and allows you to drag and drop music files then you be able to use songs in your iTunes Music folder but it will take a bit more work. Also you can't directly convert standard iTunes songs to another format due to the DRM (Digital Rights Management) copy protection. Playlists don't appear in iTunes Playlist selection window when synching

I just updated to iTunes 9.0 (big mistake) and discovered that many of my playlists do not appear in the playlist selection window when I synch my iPod nano 2.0. Even playlists that I created after upgrading to 9.0 don't appear. I have more playlists than I can load onto my iPod, so I need to be able to select which playlists to synch. Since many don't even appear in the selection window, I can't put them on my iPod. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
BTW, I have already gone through the Five R's, which did nothing to help.

Personally I use Subler to tag all these shows and then send them to Itunes. In subler you have the option of setting the Media Type and also the HD option of 720 or 1080p if applicable. Save it then use the file, Send to itunes and they show up in the right place.

ITunes name change with Mobile Phone

I have a Motorola SLVR phone that I put songs on it using iTunes. My original name for the phone was long and I wanted to change it. Along the right hand side, I clicked on my mobile and renamed it. Now I am unable to add songs to it. There is a circle with a line through it when I try. The phone still has plenty of room on it to add songs. I do not remember the initial name to try to go back to. Did anyone encounter this problem and how did you resolve it? If not, any suggestions would be helpful because I tried everything I knew. Apple certainly does not produce any software for syncing Android devices. You may want to check with Google or Samsung.
