Synchronizing new apps to iphone?

Hi there,
I've got a problem with new apps that I bought in Itunes on my home computer. I have checked the "synchronize new apps automatically"button in the apps synchronizing tab. New apps are automatically unchecked in the apps list on the left and the only way to check these means I have to reorganise all the apps on my iphone afterwards again (already tried that a couple of times).
I do not have this problem on my workcomputer though same itunes version, same setup, but there new apps are automatically checked and thus transferred while synchronising.
Strange problem, does anyone have experience with this/ a solution? I did use my working computer to synchronisize first, but my homecomputer is authorized.
P.S.: using 3GS with IOS 5.01 newest itunes version on a windows platform.

I have following problem. When I buy app from app store I cant sync it to my iPhone because my computer is not authorized to use it. When I try to authorized it, iTunes saying that my computer has already authorized. But it wont sync my apps to iPhone. Then I went to app store using my iPhone. App was succesfull installed to my phone. When the phone was plugged in to computer it says again that the computer has not authorized. I cant authorize the computer because it already has authorized.
Any help how to proceed?

Just reboot your laptop... While its rebooting try to reboot your phone also by holding the home and power buttonn for 10-15 seconds...When your phone is turned off try to connect it to iTunes and it will recognize your phone in recovery mode.
If you have the .ipsw file for iOS 7.0.6 saved in your desktop then in itunes press shift and click on Restore.
Select the ipsw file and let it restore.
If you dont have it downloaded then simply click on restore.

Installing new apps crashing iPhone

Model: iPhone first gen.
I'm not sure if I'm the only one with this problem but whilst surfing the net for answers I don't think I can be the only one as apparently there's supposed to be a 'fix' in the next Apple iPhone firmware update:

What my problem is and it has happened so many times now I'm short on patience and very close to launching my iPhone at a wall! What my problem is, every time I get a new app from the app store it loads onto my iPhone OK but when I actually go to use it, the app bounces back to the front screen. After that I try again and still no joy. The only way I know or am aware of to correct this is to 'soft re-launch' or whatever the terminology is by holding the power/home buttons until the Apple icon appears. Now when I do this everything should be peachy however it's far from that, when the iPhone relaunches it doesn't open any apps at all, even ones it previously did and not only that it clears out my music and just states 'no music on here' type message - well before all that I had over 2,000 tunes on it!
So in order to get back to basics and get my iPhone working again I have to go to iTunes and do a factory restore which let me tell you takes a FREAKING AGE!!! This works, well until I want to install another app onto my iPhone. I think in the last two weeks I must of had to do a factory restore about seven-eight times
In case you're asking I have tried to do the 'reset' from the iPhone itself but that doesn't do anything in regards to getting the apps to start, hence that's why I have to do the 'soft re-launch'.
Has anyone got any ideas on this or any help? I've actually stopped moving the apps around on my screens because I'm just bored of the time it takes and know that I would have to do it again once my iPhone crashes.

I and many others have experienced the same problem you are seeing. There are a number of threads here with user experiences and different ideas about how to avoid the bug occurring and how to fix it. I've been through several crashes and restores and am quite disappointed as well.
I think there is evidence that downloading apps directly onto your iPhone is very likely to cause this problem but that downloading into iTunes and then syncing to your phone may be better. There are a number of fixes for the problem that work sometimes and not others. 2/3 times I've had to do a restore to fix it.
The consensus seems to be that we'll have to wait for a bug fix from Apple (due sometime in September). Per the article you linked Steve Jobs has acknowledged in an email to a customer that this is a known bug that will be fixed.

"waiting" underneath new apps on iPhone

I recently downloaded 8 new apps to my iPhone. However, they come up on the screen darkened, with the word "waiting" underneath. When I tap the icon, nothing happens. How can I fix this problem?

Try "resettiing" ...
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that didn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

App store will not load features or download new app on iphone 4s.

This just happened 2 days ago. I am wondering if something got messed up when I doewn;lloaded an app on the PD and plugged the phone in to itunes. new app wprked nut I can not download directlky oin the phone now.

I had the same problem. It takes a lot of patience and you need to delete the app and reinstall it after.

New apps crash iPhone 2.0 software on launch

I installed the 2.0 firmware on my Edge iPhone on Friday. I have noticed that every once in a while, the Phone will re-boot itself when I click on one of the new application icons. It immediately shows the while Apple logo and is re-booting.
It has happened with more than one application, so I don't know if the applications are coded wrong or the 2.0 firmware has bugs. After the phone re-boots, I can click the same application icon and it will work fine.

I've had the phone hang and eventually reboot numerous times now. At least 3 of the times, the iPhone started up to the Apple logo and just sat there, forcing me to do a restore of my backup just so I can get back into the thing.
All three times I had just finished installing an app via the app store on the phone. The first two were WeatherBug, and the last was just now with ypmobile. One of the times I had just finished installing WeatherBug, gone into "Settings", had it beachball there for awhile, and then reboot and not come back.
All in all, when the phone is working for me, it works fantastic. When it's failing, it failing disastrously. I don't know how Apple managed to do such a successful, seamless hardware transition from PowerPC to Intel, yet can't manage to do something as simple as release a working upgrade to an existing product. I can understand the apps having problems, being initial releases, but there should be some sort of protection in the phone's OS to ensure it doesn't bring down the entire system with it.

After installing a new app my iphone wont start

i installed an app and i was requested to reboot phone, after i accepted the phone was shut down but did not open at all it is stuck with the pineapple picture forever, i left it yesterday all night like this but also nothing, i am trying to backup but the itunes on my desktop didnt recognize it.

I've read on here several times that the release for new apps. will be coming out in Feb. I was checking out the apple website under download, I noticed a link for new apps for iphone/touch. There is a bunch of things that are avble. But since I have never checked out the download section before, I'm not sure if any of this is new or worth putting on my touch. Just looking for opinions. Yes, but it all depends on what you like. I think that the Weather Bug app. is the best out there because I think it is is necessary to always know the weather(http://www.apple.com/webapps/weather/weatherbug.html).

Re-create an app for iPhone ?

Hello everyone,
I've alrady an app (motorlive) with multiple folio for iPad and Android. Now i would like to publish my app on iPhone as well.
My question is : Should i make a NEW app for iPhone only (and keep my app for iPad i already have done) OR make a NEW app for iPad and iPhone ?
I can't find really information about that problem, but since the Android version is nativly on tablets and phones, i would like to do the same for Apple devices, sounds right ?

You can't create an iPhone-only DPS app. iOS apps can be either iPad-only or universal (iPad+iPhone).
In DPS App Builder, you'll need to create a new app with both iPad and iPhone selected. You can't edit the existing version of your app in App Builder. However, if you use the same mobileprovision files used when you created the iPad app, both App Builder and Apple will treat the app as an updated version.
One other thing to keep in mind. iPhone folios don't appear on iPads, and iPad folios don't appear on iPhones.

New Mac Old Iphone

Ok here it is - I have a new mac and have set up home sharing. Have downloaded new apps for iphone on new comp but when I go to import them to my iphone it says that all other apps will be wiped when I do! I am sure that I have set everything up properly. Anyone any ideas? Thanks.

You need to transfer your iTunes library from your PC to your Mac along with all other important data from your PC that you will need or want to access on your Mac such as photos, documents, etc., etc.
If at iTunes preferences below the Advanced tab on your PC you have "copy files to iTunes media folder when adding to library" selected, you can copy the iTunes named folder located in your Music folder, which is located in your Documents folder on a PC. With iTunes quit on your Mac, place the copy of the iTunes named folder from your PC in your Music folder on your Mac. You will also need to authorize your Mac with your iTunes account with iTunes if you haven't already done so.
If you purchased your Mac at an Apple store, the Apple store will help you transferring the data from your PC that you will need or want to access on your Mac.

How not to loose intalled apps on iPhone while synchronizing new ones?

HT201412 iphone 4s apps will not reinstall on phone, stuck in waiting mode; new apps will only download if synced to itunes on PC

A few weeks ago about 7 of my apps had updates. I pressed update all and instead of it updating them, they were frozen for several days in "waiting" mode. Finally I was tired of this so I deleted the apps by pressing one and it activated the x to pop up on each app so I could delete. I deleted all the ones that were stuck in waiting, which was all the ones I was trying to recently update. I then went back to app store and redownloaded 1 of those that I had just deleted and it downloaded just fine. Tried that with others and and I got the same message before "waiting" and nothing. I've tried with all the previous apps and nothing new. I cannot at this point even download a new app from my app store on my phone. I can only upload new apps if I have downloaded them into itunes on my pc and then sync my phone to the itunes on the computer.
Today I came into itunes and under apps saw that many of them still needed to update. I clicked update all and they supposedly updated. Connected iphone to pc and tried to sync. It updated the working apps I still have and none of the old ones. I have tried to redownload my old apps via itunes on my computer but there isn't an option anymore, just says "downloaded."
Anything else I can do? I've tried shutting off, restarting, etc. and nothing has worked. I really don't want to have to reset to factory settings as I'm afraid I won't back up right and I'll loose all my pictures of my kids and other info.
Any help is appreciate! I use Verizon fyi and have had the phone about 10 mos with no problem till last month.

I have the exact same problem for the past 2 hours, and now I figure out how to solve it.
Go to iTunes then go to downloads, you will see something is stucked there which is not downloading, delete it, you don't have to delete all of them, only the one is not downloading.
The problem of my iPhone 4S iOS 5.01 came from iTunes U, just right after I started downloading some video clips or podcasts from iTunes U. I could not find any video clips in there, after 2 hours, I found the problem, it was in iTunes, downloads is happening in iTunes, not in iTunes U.
You don't need to restore your iPhone any more.

When i download a new app on ipad it does not show up on iphone

I have icloud turned on on my ipad and iphone but when i download a new app on my ipad or iphone it does not always show up on the other. Its getting very aggravating and I have no idea how to fix this!!!!!!!!!

Make sure the app is supported on both devices. Some apps are iPad only. Also make sure they are supported by the iOS version on each device if they are running different versions of iOS.
Turn on automatic downloads on both devices:
Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Select items you want to download automatically fom the Automatic Downloads section
