Synchronizing Outlook calendar with my BB Curve 9300 calendar

I have problems in setting up synchronization of my Outlook calendar on my PC with the BB calendar. According to the handbook, one has to open the calendar on the BB and then select "Options". Then one should activate synchronization by ticking "wireless sychronization" [Note: translation from German handbook; expression may be different from English version]. However, no such tickbox shows on my BB. What did I miss?

Your BB has no ability to synchronize anything with your PC/Outlook wirelessly. None. All synchronization capabilities are between your BB and your email server. If you are BES, your BES admins can configure it. If you are not BES, then it is limited to GMail and Yahoo, I believe.

Memory Card Issue with my BlackBerry Curve 9300

Hello,
I have been using the memory card for more than a year. It's a SanDisk or a ScanDisk memory card. It's 8 GB. I didn't use the card that came with my BlackBerry Curve 9300 phone. I'm always trying to delete files or to copy files, most of them are music files from my laptop to the memory card via memory card reader.
Now I am encountering a message that I need to repair the memory card whenever I try to insert it to my phone again. And most of the time whenever the phone automatically repairs it, some files are corrupted or considered as a "lost chunk files".
How can I recover those files? And why did it happen or always happen in the first place?

So what I did is to copied everything to my laptop then reformatted it completely.
It kinda solved the issue but for how long will I won't be experiencing the "repair memory card" issue and the "lost chunk files" issue?
Do I need another program to reformat the memory card and not to use the one that comes with every windows computer?
Does using a memory card reader or using a memory card adapter (for the microSD card) corrupts the memory card?
I have been researching on how to completely recover the files but I'm a bit confused.
There are a lot of recovery programs out there.
Can you guys help me out here? Thanks.

I think you should try each and everyone of the solutions suggested in the link I provided, given that it covered both harware and software suggestions. And always reset the device by removing the battery whilst the device is powered-on. Leave the battery out for a minute or 2 after each step.

That's basically the question. I use iCal and I want to share one of my calendars with someone who uses Google Calendar and doesn't have any Apple products. Is this possible?

You can't do this: when you migrate your MobileMe account to iCloud the calendars will be transferred there and no longer available on MobileMe.

Need help with a Blackberry Curve 9300, please...

Hello, everyone, I had a look around the forum and came across a post which offered advice one what to include in questions, so I have tried to include the info below.
Device info
Your carrier: Unlocked (was using Virgin)
Model info and OS version (Go to Settings, then Options, then about): Blackberry Curve 9300, OS 6
Apps and free space
File free before and after a battery remove/replace. (Go to Settings, then Options, then status): 60%
Did a battery pull fix your issue? No
Apps installed and their version if possible. (Go to Settings, then Options, then applications): None, only the ones that come with it after reset to factory
BT device model/version (you will have to look at the BT device): Don't know what this means
When writing your question
Any other details that would help us out with your issue: This was my teenage brother's phone, which since has been given to me. The phone was severely mistreated; thrown around, stepped on and chewed. The battery had to be replaced as well as the middle chassis and the front and back cases along with the keyboard, bottom clip and screen.
Good description of what is really wrong and how to reproduce if possible. Details of what you did before: I managed to get it working after I had replaced everything listed above, but it will not charge using the cable. I have to keep taking the battery out and plugging it in seperately to charge, then putting back in the phone. This is after replacing the cable as my brother broke that too, so it's not the cable. He's damaged the data/ charge port.
The camera will not work, but at the moment I am not looking for a solution for that. The error is: "Could not start the camera. Close other applications and try opening the camera again". No applications are open and the OS has just been updated to the most recent version. For this reason, I think he's managed to break that too and it would need to be replaced if that's possible.
My issue at the moment... My mother, as you can imagine is furious with him for trashing the phone she bought him at about £250 when it was new a couple of years ago. So, as I have managed to get it to turn on and pick up wi-fi, she has said I can keep it. I am on Virgin Mobile and this phone is unlocked. It will not pick up any network even using my Virgin SIM card which works fine. My brother was also using it on Virgin.
I can use it with wi-fi and have already contacted t-mobile and Virgin Mobile to make there there's no problem with them. There isn't. The number has been put under my ownership and the phone registered to me now. It is not blocked or blacklisted, yet, only comes up with SOS for network.
Because of this, they and the local phone shop think he might have damaged the antenna inside. I am an iPhone user, this is the first time I have used a Blackberry, so I have no idea - can the antenna be repaired by myself?
Or, given that the camera doesn't work either/ needs replacing, would it just be better to get a replacement using my contents insurance? I am unsure which would be cheaper, to get the parts and try and fix it myself, or pay the excess for the insurance.

Also if you tried more than 1 SIM card in the BlackBerry Curve 9300 smartphone and it still shows SOS, this could be hardware related as well.
For all repairs, I can only suggest checking with the point of sale or network service provider for further options.

Synchronizing outlook 2011 with my Blackberry

my blackberry does not syncronize with outlook 2011 but with ical and the mac address book. How can i change this?

Does RIM support syncing with Outlook 2011 on a Mac?
If not, Outlook should include a sync setting via preferences for syncing contacts with the Address Book and calendar events with iCal so you can do this indirectly.

Connection Problem with Vodafone on Curve 9300

I have curve 9300 with OS version 6 and with a Vodafone prepaid connection in Kolkata Circle. Recently I activated BIS 399 plan (Mail+Maggenger+Surfing) plan but Vodafone is still unable to provide me the service. From the day of activation ( 8 days ago) my tower is constantly fluctuatuin between 3G and 3G(B) when the network mode is selected as 2G&3G. They have asked me to select my Network Mode to 2G only and after that my tower is shifting between edge and EDGE. They haven yet figured out the problem. I do not think that there is any problem with my handheld but their network. Anyone here faced problem similar to this please share your experience. Please also help in this regard. Sounds like you may be trying to access icloud.com using Safari on your device. You have to access icloud.com from a computer, not an iOS device.

How do I share my server calendar with external users on google calendar?

I need to share some server based calendars with google calendar. I know how to export but how do I keep the connection live so that when I put a new event into iCal on the server it automatically updates to google calendar? I was looking for a way to publish my server calendar to a hosting server but I can not even work out how to do that.

Presuming you moved the entire iTunes folder to the shared folder the other users need to start their iTunes while holding down the option/alt key and select the iTunes Library.itl file in the shared folder. Only once should be necessary. Note that any changes anybody makes will be seen by everybody, so you have to trust each other a lot.
If all you moved are media files each user will have to add those files to their iTunes library.

HELP!! There is a big mistake in ITALIAN VERSION OF CALENDAR: names of days of week are not correctly matched from English to Italian, please update the software according to the following correct matching:
- MONDAY = LUNEDI'
- TUESDAY = MARTEDI'
- WEDNESDAY = MERCOLEDI'
- THURSDAY = GIOVEDI'
- FRIDAY = VENERDI'
- SATURDAY = SABATO
- SUNDAY = DOMENICA.
Now, with the current wrong matching, I must set English language to avoid confusion............

1) The exact OS that you are running on your BB:
KB23393 How to check the model number and version of installed BlackBerry device software on a BlackBerry smartphone
2) The exact issue -- which days are incorrect? You provided the correct information, but they'll need the incorrect data as well to better target anything they might do.
From what you've said, there's no way for them to do anything as they'd have to look at every single OS package for the 9300 as well as hunt for the specific error...if you provide the details, they'll be able to target the specific location of the issue (assuming they do notice here, btw).

Synchronizing Outlook organizer with BB

I've just baught my BB, and try to sync this with my organizer (Outlook 2003) from my PC.
I have followed the different steps indicated by BB Desktop Manager, but when I launch the sync, the following message appears (in French, here translated) "Intellisync. Specific error at Connector" (orginal msg: "Erreur spécifique à Connector.")
Does anybody know why and how I can correct this?

Under your Options>Advanced Options>Default Services what default Calendars do you have?
If the Move command listed in KB19240 didn't work, you may need to delete the email address service book that has the [CICAL] to force the device default to have all Calendars appointments. You can go to Options>Advanced Options>Service Book.

Problems with signing up for apps with a blackberry curve 9300

I bought a new curve on wind mobile, and I signed up for a blackberry ID. I must have forgotten the password because it won't let me in now and when I try to reset it, the site says that the verification code (the one that's used to make sure I am not a spam-bot) is incorrect. I've tried more than ten times, but I keep getting the same message. Is anyone else having the same trouble? Any known solution?

Wow. I have no idea how this happened, but at some point, I lost my Apple Root Certificate - that seems important. I reinstalled it from http://www.apple.com/certificateauthority/ and all is right with the world - and Adobe CC Desktop Installer.

Unable to wirelessly sync my outlook address book on my curve 9300

There is no checkbox to check for wireless syncronizition only for my gmail account.
