Synchronous HTTP-IDOC Scenario

Hi,
We have a scenario where our vendor sends us the cXML invoices which we are receiing using a HTTP adapter and creating a IDOC in R/3 using a IDOC adapter. But our vendor is expecting a cXML response back which contains the status code 200.
To do this do I have to use a sync Http adapter and Sync/Async bridge. How should I get the response back to the HTTP sender adapter. Do I need to get the ALEAUD(Acknowlegement of the actual IDOC)  IDOC to XI and map it to the response cXML.
Is there any simple way to send back a response the cXML invoice reaches the XI, instead of getting the response back from R/3.
Please suggest
Appreciate all your help.
Thanks,
Maulik.

For idoc acknowledgement . You can use send step with ack type as application or system .  for more info refer following blogs

  • Synchronous HTTP - RFC Scenario: Timeout

    Hello together,
I have just implemented a synchronous HTTP --> RFC scenario. When I test the implementation using the HTTP testing tool within the Runtime Workbench everything works fine.
However when I use an external HTTP Client I get a timeout exception. This is also raised in the XI Message Monitoring: "Timeout condition of pipeline reached"
Do you know any reason for this?
    Thank you very much.

    Hello,
this problem is solved now. It was a problem with the HTTP Client, obviously because a wrong queueID was automatically inserted in the URL.

  • Change FILE to IDOC by HTTP to IDOC scenario

    Hi !!!
We have a txt FILE to IDOC scenario.
Now we want to implement a HTTP  to IDOC scenario, but taking advantage of the mappings existing and avoid re-implement it. The HTTP calls must contain the text of the actual FILE.
What is the best way to do it?
How convert a txt FILE in a XML?

    Hi, Bhavesh
Rigth? Not exactly...  I assume I need to create new receiver determination and to make some changes in integration directory (like message interface, message mapping), but if it's possible, i want to avoid changes in message mapping
In fact, I have more than one scenario (orders, stocktaking, cash up, bank information... ) and therefore, some complicated message mapping. This is the main reason to evaluate the best solution.
In your proposal... ¿How test if first imput is a XML or a TXT? ¿When and how call the java code?
    Thank you in advance,
    Carme

  • ** HTTP 401 Unauthorized - IDoc to IDoc scenario

    Hi Friends,
I am doing IDoc to IDoc scenario. For the sender side I am using XI adapter instead of IDoc Adapter. Because, we don't have access of third party source (SAP) system. We take the source payload from message mapping and test the same in RWB --> Component Monitoring --> Integration Server --> Adapter Engine XD1 --> Test Message Tab.
After give all the sender details, when I test the scenario, it throws the following error 'Error while sending message; invalid content type for SOAP; TEXT/HTML; HTTP 401 Unauthorized'.
What could be the problem ? Could you kindly tell me friends.
    Kind Regards,
    Jegathees P.

    Hi
    Check Pipeling entry in SLD
SLD -> Business System -> Open your XI business system and check for the pipeline entry there.
    It should be  http://server:httpport/sap/xi/engine?type=entry

Can you pls help me in resolving this issue.
    Regards,

    Hi,
I think the problem is with namespace....for IDOC the namespace will be "urn:sap-com:document:sap:idoc:messages"...but in your case it is different.....i.e http:....etc.....please check whether you 've used the same IDOC withe above mentioned namespace in all the configuration objects like interface determination, receiveragreement etc.....

  • Error in File to IDOC Scenario

    Hi,
I have File to IDOC scenario.
I am getting error in sender file channel.
"Conversion initialization failed: java.lang.Exception: java.lang.Exception: java.lang.Exception: Error(s) in XML conversion parameters found: Mandatory parameter 'xml.keyfieldName': no value found "
Although I have used this parameter in content conversion 'xml.keyfieldName' (for each sub structure and defined a key field).
Despite of this error in sender channel I am receiving the message in XI.
But in XI also it throws error :
"Unable to convert the sender service PG_TOM_CEEMEA_RU_SFA to an ALE logical system"
    Any help on this ?
    Thanks,
    Vikas

    Hello Vikas,
I am getting error in sender file channel.
Check your flat file structure whether the key field you have chosen is appropriate and also recheck the FCC details whether you have assigned the value for the key field i.e.  keyFieldValue.

    Hi experts,
I am doing file to Idoc scenario. I did the ALE configuration steps between XI and r/3. For sender (ThirdParty) system, I defined Business system. While defining partner profiles in WE20 I got confused, whether to Give XI logical system Name or Third party logical system name. Please clarify..........

    Manoj

    Hi,
    >>I defined Business system. While defining partner profiles in WE20 I got confused, whether to Give XI logical system Name or Third party logical system name. Please clarify..........
in most cases you will only use one logical system in WE20
this will be XI's logical system - and you can route all the traffic
via this logicail system - this is the most popular case
