What is synchronus updation and synchronus processing?why bdc is not stopped when error occurs in bdc session or call transaction method during execution?
Hi,
synchronise update means transfer the data from internal table to application server record by record.
synchronise process means transfer the data from application server to data base table record by record.
but in asynchronise update or process the records at a time.

Apple should do its QA...Wasting hours on the update and restore process!
Here we go again....I just tried to update to 3.0 and it downloaded the 235 mb of application and then died out with an error message. Now I see the dreaded picture of a CD with the USB head on my iphone. My laptop does not appear to recognize the iphone device anymore. Isn't it about time that Apple admitted there is a flaw with this process... I know this will get fixed after I spend hours on it -
Here is an update. After spending more than an hour with the first Apple "genius" uninstalling everything apple from my laptop and reinstalling the whole stuff again, hitting restore 2-3 times and coming up with the same "1604" error message again and again, I have been handed off to someone who claims to be a "manager" as well.
I am at my wits end as I am currently without any of my contacts and ability for others to reach me. The least that Apple should do is put a disclaimer that " mAYBE SOME OF OUR PHONES MAY crash or DIE BECAUSE OF our updates." And maybe Apple should be doing its own QA instead of making us pay with our time trying to troubleshoot these issues for them.
Here's my next update...the said manager asked me to delete the _restore file from the applications folder - which was done and it started the download of the 235 MB file all over again. All 40 minutes later, the network error comes up and I restart the download. It completes after 35 minutes. And now I try doing the restore part and it craps out as can be expected -error 2002. Tried again and it craps out - error 1604.. Now why do I have to go through this. SHOULDNT Apple be doing this testing and retesting before releasing it us the public...
And I missed one appointment already and had a nightmare time trying to get hold of some numbers that are on the now dead phone...
OK, I have the fifth crap out just now 4 hours later - error 1604 later!!Make sure you USB 2.0 and follow my steps too as below........I had mega problems too. Try following the steps in my posting as below after creating a new user account on your computer with ADMIN priviledges also. See my posting on 20/06/2009 22:33 titled "Upgrade Error number 4 and Restore Error 1603 when going to OS 3.0 - Solved"
And turn off any antivirus and firewall software too, before doing so. In ITunes, highlight your iphone icon and then click the Restore Button on the ITunes Summary tab which seems to force the iphone into an update. Dont try using the Check for update button. Good Luck........... -

For both what you'll get will depend on what has already been defined in solution manager, and the time you'll spend working on it. Do not expect to get that transaction list in few clicks...

I had an update massage for a wile on my phone and yesterday I decided to do the update and so I downloaded the soft w. and started to install but in the middle of the process the phone got stocked and said to connect to iTunes and so i did it and again the process gets interrupted first saying "the software on Iphone needs to be restored to factory settings or update" and so i do it..then it comes the message the an error -39 and I can not do it and it says that I need to restore..and so I do it..but its a circle and it never ends..and I have no phone since yesterday.. all my contacts, my work..

A little information will be of a great help, witch iPhone did you upgrade, memory , and version of software ( iOS 8.x.x )?
Try restarting you iPhone and make sure you have a god internet connection , get as close to your wifi router (1-3 meter / 2-9 feet ) as possible. Don't use restore to factory settings before you tried other options . And most imported du you have an iCloud backup.

Need different processes for Update and Delete buttons
I'm using a customized version of the Issue Tracker sample application. I've added a table called project_person(project_id,person_id) so that a project can have multiple people assigned to it and so that one person can have multiple projects. I have a form report that lists all of the projects with an edit link which opens one project. On the individual project page, there are page items for each of the columns in the project table and a item for the person assigned to the project--this item is pulled from the separate project_person table. I have two buttons--Delete and Apply Changes. If you click on Apply Changes, the project table should be updated and then the project_person table if the assignment was changed. If you click on Delete, it should delete the project_person record first and then delete the project record. I created a new conditional pl/sql process that updated two tables if 'Apply Changes' button is cliicked. I then created a separate conditional process when the Delete button is clicked. This conditional process checks to see if a record in the project_person table exists, and if so, delete the record. Then delete the project record.
The update process works fine. The delete process reloads the list of projects with a success message at the top without actually doing a delete and I have no idea why. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Check the "Sequence Number" for your processes. Typically, APEX will increment by 10, each time you create a Page Process as I recall. You can set this to be any number you want; even if you duplicate the sequence number (ie: you can have multiple Sequence 10 processes).
Make sure that your Delete process is firing properly and walk through the logic in the source code to be sure that any "IF" or "WHERE" logic is satisfied. For example:

delete from emp_table
where 1=2;
End;If this was your page process code - you would receive a SUCCESS message because the PL/SQL code executed successfully, even though nothing will be deleted since 1 will NEVER equal 2.
So, check Delete Source carefully.

I tried updating iphone 6 to 8.1.3 But the phone went dead. I have tried using restore options - both update and erase, but the process stops when it tries to update Iphone firmware.
Put your phone in DFU mode,
Hold the Power Button (3 secs)
Continue holding the power button and also hold the home button (15 secs)
Release the power button while continuing to hold the home button (10 secs)
Your device should prompt with the "Connect to iTunes Screen"
Restore. -
I have a Windows laptop running with Windows 7 (64 bits). i was using itunes normally. Few days ago I upgraded to 10.5.2. When I completed download and install process, itunes opened and got stuck.It says "Updating itunes library". What can I do?

The hub may not be broken per se, but Apple has made adjustments to the limits on current that can be drawn from ports.
You probably need a new hub.

Hi, cant update IO6. After downloading the update and processing it through Itunes on my mac.... and I have a factory unlocked Iphone 4S. Cant update the software. Waring message is say this devise is not eligible for build. Please help.
Download iTunes using the tab at the top of this page. Then run the update with iTunes closed.

what is unknown error(1) !!! it appears every time i tried to update and install iphone soft ware!!! Further, that error appears once the firmware installation is in process !!!
Usually occurs on devices that have either been jailbroken or attempts have been made to downgrade the iOS. You can try putting it in DFU mode to restore but you may not be able to fix it. If you phone has been jailbroken we can't support you in these forums as it is against the terms of use.

I am working on an article of over 7000 words... suddenly, Page, says that document cannot be updated and opened... I lost valuable time and text in the process! What is going on here?
Pages used to make backups... It does no longer... I cannot even revert to a previous version not being able to open the document that I was still working on half an hour ago. Thank heavens, I made a copy by selecting all text and copying it into an email when the problem first occurred yesterday evening. I am now working on it as an email. I can't risk loosing text this way anymore thru Pages. This is very bad. I am truly disappointed by this... particularly having moved from MS Office to iWorks!

Getting Updated image through Config manager Build and capture process
Hi guys,
Looking for some pointers on getting the almost fully patched image out of configuration manager build and capture process.
I need below pointers:
- What and where to advertise\deploy software packages target? since its a new deployment, I believe it should be targeted to all unknown computers.
- How many times should I call 'install update' step in TS and where?
- What is the best way to patch image (if something is missed out during image capture) offline (since its config manager 2012 R2). when I pull schedule update list for offline schedule, does that only pull updates that are required for that image or it
pulls everything available as updates?
- I have done offline patch of image but still once the image is deployed it pulls office updates. Looks like , offline service just injects OS patches..right?

Regards,- Where? That depends upon what you what. But, going by the letter of what you asked, you shouldn't deploy any applications or packages if you want them on your newly images systems, you should make them a part of the TS using Install Software and Install
Application tasks.
- How many times? You should only need one although depending upon what you are deploying and if you are using offline updates, some folks add more. I typically use two one right after the Setup Windows and ConfigMgr task (just like the task sequence wizard
builds for you) to update the OS and "things" in the image and one at the end to catch additional updates for apps and components added during the TS. Note that you also have to initiate an update scan cycle for additional install update tasks to work. Do
this by adding a run-command line task before the second Install Updates task with the proper WMIC incantation.
- Offline Updates only injects CBS updates into the image which are typically just core OS updates. You should also update your image though to include non-CBS updates. Using a build and catpure task sequence makes this easy.

Update and process dimension by BADI

We are working on SAP BPC NW 7.5 with BADIs and we want to know how to
- create id members at dimensions
- write properties at members
- delete id members at dimensions
to summarize we want full control to update and process dimension members like update the master data by mean of BADI uploading info from SAP ECC or wherever and remove some entries if is needed
we've tried using methods like read_mbr_data, write_mbr_data and process_dimension without success
Can somebody explain how to do it?
Can somebody give us an example, please?

Finally weu2019ve solved the problem of the transports and analyzed the implementations in detail but u2026 unfortunately there is not implemented a deletion of master data, just creation by mean of UJA_API_PROCESS_DIMENSION (working with XML files) and we prefer to use the method write_mbr_data that belong to class/interface IF_UJA_DIM_DATA).
Anyway u2026 the point is that we want to know how to delete master data from a BPC dimension using a method u2026 otherwise we will try to delete master data directly from the corresponding InfoObject.
By the way, it would be great if anybody could tell us how to delete records with signed data u20180u2019 from application u2026 the alternative technique to do it is compressing the InfoCube u2026 but weu2019re looking for something more elegant

Shouldn't take more than a few seconds to a minute. If it's stuck, you might want to give Apple support a call to see if they are experiencing unreported server issues. You will need your serial number, which is on the box and (I believe) the back of your iPad.
