Syncing Bookmarks - None Appearing on iphone
Hi,
I am syncing my iphone with my mac via itunes, and after the sync my bookmarks from my mac don't appear on my iphone.
All it says for bookmarks under the info tab in itunes is 'your bookmarks are being synced with your iphone over the air from mobileme'
Any ideas or thoughts on why i can't see my bookmarks on my iphone?

When syncing, scroll down to the bottom of the "Info" section and click the check box next to the "Bookmarks" on the "Replace Info on this iPhone" section.

Oh, and as for sync to iTunes, can't you just use a direct conenction to the computer (either WiFi or cable) to keep the music in control? -
Syncing bookmarks from safari on Iphone to Ipad2
how do I get all of the bookmarks I have on my Iphone 3GS that is on Safari to the Safari on Ipad2?
The only way I know how to sync bookmarks to an iDevice is to have the bookmarks on Safari on your actual computer and importing the bookmarks from Safari to the iDevice.

How do you sync bookmarks from desktop to iPhone?
I have a Mac Pro that is connected to a Airport router but the only thing that seems to go up to icloud is stuff from my iphone. I would like to keep my Safari bookmarks on my Mac Pro in sync with my bookmarks on the iphone 4. How do you do this? I have tried syncing the iphone with iTunes but the iphone's bookmarks are not being updated nor does there appear to be an option to do this with iTunes on the Mac.
On the iPhone tap Settings > iCloud.
Make sure Bookmarks is swtiched on.

Manual Sync does not appear on IPHONE summary

I just purchased a new iphone today and have not been able to manually sync my music from my library into my phone. Th manual sync option does not even appear when the phone is connected to itunes. (Quite odd.) Only two options appear in the summary: "Auto Sync" and "Sync only checked songs". What is wrong? Please help!!!! I've been staring at this computer screen for hours trying to get that option to appear. Thanks....Have you installed the current iTunes version, and is your iPhone running the current firmware version which is 1.1.3?
The manually manage music and videos option still requires a sync - it just provides for dragging content from your iTunes library to the iPhone instead of using a Playlist or the sync only checked songs and video option. -
Can i sync bookmarks between ipad and iphone when apple ids are different
I have two different apple ids, one for my iphone and one for my ipad. I want to sync iTunes and bookmarks. Can i do this with different ids? Or should I change the iPhone id (its new) to the same id as my iPad. thanks Seattle Jimmy

Downloaded ring tone and synced but doesnt appear in iPhone

Hi, yes I did create it and yes it appears under ringtones as well as under "purchased" under iTunes on the iPhone. But how do I get that ringtone to appear the Setting and Sounds icon. When I go back there and select ringtones, the only ones there are the Apple-generated ones that came with the iPhone.
I don't know what Garageband is or where that would be on my iPhone, sorry. -

Welcome to the Support Communities! The best way to sync your bookmarks from your iPad min to your MacBook Air is to use iCloud. Do you have iCloud set up on your devices? If so, just turn the Safari feature on. Here are a few resources that explain this further:

I just downloaded four books through iTunes. I tried 5 times to sync the books onto my iPhone. They did NOT appear on my iPhone. Previous books synced without problems. I tired syncing ALL books, and also selected book by selecting the new books. No luck. What do/can I do now. iTunes prevents me downloading again. The books show on the computer. I cannot redownload direct to my iPhone now as iTunes indicates the books are already downloaded.What do/can I do now?
You got the new iphone????? I have same problem. I transferred audiobooks to device to find no audiobooks on device (despite it being in iTunes as if it was). Have you found a solution????? I even tried to change import settings on format transfer but hasn't worked.

I have an iPhone 6 with IOS 8.1.3. When I go to the landscape view in Safari, the bookmark page appears and takes up one half of the screen. How can I get rid of the bookmark page so I can use the whole screen to what I am browsing?
OOPS! Too quick on the trigger to ask that question without trying anything. Sorry. Solved it by touching the bookmark icon.

New iPhone 6. This s my first iPhone. Windows 8 laptop. Running Mozilla Firefox browser as my default. Would like to sync my Firefox Bookmarks with Safari on iPhone 6.
It would be nice if Firefox was available on the iPhone, but apparently it is not.
If I could do a direct sync of Bookmarks between Firefox on a W8 machine and the iPhone, that would be nice.
Assuming I can't, I have installed Safari of my W8 laptop,
I exported my Bookmarks from Firefox, and then imported them in Safari.
First question:
Safari shows my Bookmarks in a way that is different from Firefox. It shows all the folders fown the left side of the window. If I want to see a saved bookmark within one of the folders, I have to click on the folder name and then the contents are shown in a separate panel off to the right. Can I get all Bookmark folders to open up vertically, that is, down the left side and under the folder name as they do in Firefox?
Second question:
How do I sync the bookmarks so that all hoes-based bookmarks are downloaded to my iPhone. An articel I read speaks of connecting my iPhone to the laptop. I have no idea of how to do that.

I go to iTunes on my phone and see no wat to connect my iPhone to my laptop. I see Music, Shows, etc., the kind of stuff I would expect, but no clue as to how to proceed.

Bookmarks are not syncing to ONE of my Macs, but showing up on other Mac (work), iPhone 4 and iPad 1. Macs are on Mountain Lion. Tried all of Apple's suggestions - and the one Mac is still not updating/syncing Bookmarks or Reading List. What's going on? Do I have to wait to OS update? It seems lots of peolple were having issues before ML, but I as fine. Since ML, I am having all kinds of issues!
Yeah, I literally have tried everything except deleting my iCloud account (I'm close, but that would require so many changes that it is way too painful to consider at this point).
I am still waiting to hear back from Apple Support. Hopefully something can be done, or they can do a reset on their end.

I just got an iphone 4 and when I go to sync it, it appears in the left hand column but when I click on it there is just a blank screen with the apply logo and a tiny lock.
OK, I think I fixed it.
After trying to restore with an old backup from the phone (it estimated it would take 4 hours) I cancelled and went through the setup menus again, but set it up as a new phone. It then appeared in iTunes and I restored it from the computer, not the phone. It appears to be working, it's syncing my old apps right now.
Summary:
1. Reset settings on phone (hopefully you backed up fairly recently)
2. Set up as NEW iPhone in setup menu on phone
3. Restore from iTunes on computer when it recognizes the phone
4. Cross fingers -
Whenever I try to sync either my iPhone4 or iPad I get the following message. "The iPhone (or iPad) cannot be synched. The required file cannot be found." My music will sync but none of my videos or photos will. Please help me somebody. Thanks.
