Syncing controls for video and audio, with Closed Caption

Hello,
First, I have Closed Caption and audio within my slide (no audio in video, because I couldn't use Closed Caption then) but now the audio can be turned on/off from project control bar while video continues to play. I tried to add a control bar to the video (hoping I would have control over both playing and audio) but now audio is controled by project slide control bar and video is controled by video control bar.
Is there any way to sync the 2 control bars? Or at least give control to the audio on the video control bar instead of the project control bar?
Thanks,
ROV Tech

Your theory is proven false.
On the contrary, the variable framerate is the cause of sync issues and you just confirmed it.
Similarly, would you say that FCP is completely useless for all practical purposes, because it can't create Blu Ray disks?

My text messaging is working but my audio and video is not. It was working a couple of weeks ago just fine. Any thoughts?

    Hi
First have you set the Quicktime streaming setting, goto sys prefs/quicktime/streaming/streaming speed, set to 1.5mbps
In ichats prefs click on video and change bandwidth limit to 500.
    Restart iChat.

  • Video and Audio with 1 second delay

I am editing on a MAC with Premiere Pro Cs6, 6.01(014 (MC:264587)) a 45 minute file from an Ipad 3, 720. The origina file is synchronized perfectly, you can play withe Quicktime viewer and the lips move with the audio. After using that single file on one sequence, and applying ONLY accelerated efects, like Zoom (motion) and RGB curves, plus audio volume up, if I play it back, the lips are ahead the audio by between 1 and 2 seconds. If I export it to H264, the same issue remains and you can see it on Youtube. This renders Premiere CS6 completely useless for any practical purpose.
Is there any way to fix this?? I am calling for support tomorrow, but wanted your opinions first.

  • Dual video and audio with mac mini

    Hi there,
I am looking at purchasing a mac mini, but would like to know if it is possible to have 2 monitors attached, but each monitor would have a different sound.
    Example.
Video playing on the HD TV and then listen to music via the audio out.
    Many thanks

The dual monitors is not a problem, but the audio scenario you're suggesting will only work if the music is streamed via Airplay.  I believe since mini only has a single audio card, output via conventional outputs (SPDIF, HDMI, 1/8") may only work one at a time.  Airplay streams music as data, and not as a signal, so that's how you'd work around that.

  • Spreadsheet/Database for video and audio footage in archive mode

I'm looking for templates that can address my needs.
I have 2 years of footage related to a project and I'm looking to have it centralised and have metadata attached to it that will allow me to cross reference footage, for example, when someone in an interview talks about losing weight and to be able to pull up clips that relate to that.
I got a feeling that an Excel spreadsheet is the way...
Thank you and look forward to hearing back from you.

  • Video and audio formats for iPad

Hey, guys.. I've tried searching this up in the forum but didn't have any luck with that..
I can't seem to upload my movies and songs into iPad... I tried converting my movie into .mov and .mp4. They can both be imported into my iTunes library but when I drag it to the iPad tab it says it cannot be copied because it cannot be played on the iPad. And some of my albums just can't be imported.
May I know the preferred format for my movies and my songs? And what could be the problem with my importing..
    Thanks heaps.

Here are the spec for video and audio for the iPad:
H.264 video up to 720p, 30 frames per second, Main Profile level 3.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps per channel, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; Motion JPEG (M-JPEG) up to 35 Mbps, 1280 by 720 pixels, 30 frames per second, audio in ulaw, PCM stereo audio in .avi file format

  • I need to connect Lightning to RCA componet for both Video and Audio

I have an Ipad  2nd generation and use a 30 pin to RCA Componet adapter from rockfish and its work great for video and audio.  I now have a IPad mini 5 gen and I bought a lightning to 30 pin adapter and tried to use my Ipad mini to watch video and audio.  Audio works but video does not. Does anyone have a solution for this for the new Ipad Mini and iphone 5s.

    Nope.
There is no lightning to RCA.
The 30 pin adaptor clearly states it does not support video out.

    Hello All,
Thanks for visiting my page. I would like to transfer video and audio from my Macbook mid-2010 (specs below), and would like to do so with minimum lag. I m aware Apple TV has a feature which allows me to do that, however considering it is connected via either wi-fi or bluetooth (not sure which) I feel streaming an HD movie or playing an MMO will cause significant lag and/or a distorted picture.
So with that said, what is the best way to transfer video and audio with minimal lag?
Also, as a part II of the question, will the picture be distorted regardless if my TV is 60 inches?
    Thanks for the feed back!
    Macbook Specs:
Processor  2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    Memory  8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Graphics  NVIDIA GeForce 320M 256 MB
    Software  OS X 10.8.4 (12E55)

The easiest and most reliable option is to connect your Mac to the TV wired. Just buy a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter and a HDMI cable to connect your MacBook to your TV. See > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4241 Image and sound will appear on the TV automatically.
If the adapter and cable are OK, you won't get the picture distorted. Your Mac will try to use the maximum resolution the GPU allows in order to adapt the picture to your TV. It may not support the maximum resolution of the TV, but picture won't be distorted

  • Video and audio manipulation

I was reading the documentation for the media and all other related classes, and while there is functionality for video and audio playback, there doesn't seem to be any exposed lower level functionality in order to do things such as simple video and audio manipulation. I was wondering if there is any known way to achieve this? Also, is there any plan to incorporate something of this nature into JavaFx? Thanks in advance.

Only things I can see in jira for this are:
    1. http://javafx-jira.kenai.com/browse/RT-19742 "Support simple video filters, like deinterlace, in MediaPlayer" (currently unscheduled)
    2. On http://javafx-jira.kenai.com/browse/RT-19582, Brian mentions "we already have separate issues on file for ... and 2) playing from a byte stream.", but I can't find a reference to the jira to play from a byte stream (I guess it's not public).
If you can create a pretty specific and concise feature request, preferably backed with a use-case example, you can file it for consideration at http://javafx-jira.kenai.com

  • How to combine rtp data containing video and audio?

    Hi
I have a problem. I was examining with AVTransmit3.java and AVReceive3.java. I found that AVTransmit3 sending video and audio with different ports. It's okey as it is done as JMStudio. but my question is how can I receive this packets as raw bytes and combines them into one media file to play at a time in a player. May be very fundamental question but tough for me as i m novis as jmf programmer.
    waitin for repply...................

Look in the JMF Guide regarding multiplexors and demultiplexors. It give the whole breakdown of how this works (and I think examples).

  • Video and Audio Track Selection

Is there any quick way to do this? Nothing in the keyboard shortcuts menu that seems close to "Sleect Video Track 1", "Select Audio Track 1", etc. Is it only achieveable with a mouse? Thanks all.

I have made custom keyboard shortcuts for video and audio tracks using Toggle Track.
I use numbers 1 to 7 for Video and Shift 1-7 for Audio.
In conjunction with Mouse clicking and shift mouse clicking on tracks..does all that I need.
