Syncing Faces back to iPhone

I take photos with my iPhone that I import into iPhoto and tag with Faces. But that data isn't synced back to the photos on the iPhone. Is there a way to make this happen?

This is why it has always been very basic to always miantain a backup copy of your computer. Once it has crashed, it is too late. The point of a backup is that you maintain it regularly.
If you have failed to do this, then you can transfer itunes purchases from the iphone: File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
You can import camera roll pics as you would from any digital camera.
You can e-mail other pics to yourself.
You can enter a unique contact and calendar entry on your computer. You should get the option to merge when you first sync.

Photo EXIF Data Stripped When Sync'd BACK to iPhone via iTunes

I'm not sure whether this belongs here or in the iPhone forum, but since it looks like an iTunes problem, I thought you all might have an idea. Here's the problem:
1. Take Picture with iPhone (3GS, if it matters) in portrait orientation.
2. Import Picture into Photoshop Elements 7.
3. EXIF Data survives (including correct orientation).
4. Put Picture in "iPhone Pictures" Album in Photoshop Elements 7.
5. EXIF Data survives (including correct orientation).
6. Delete Picture from Camera Roll on iPhone.
7. Sync "iPhone Pictures" Album (which includes Picture) to iPhone using iTunes 8.2.0.23.
8. EXIF Data lost (including incorrect orientation).
9. Picture appears on iPhone with incorrect orientation and all other EXIF Data appears to have been lost.
This appears, then, to be a problem with the way iTunes is treating the Picture when it syncs it back to the iPhone as a part of the "iPhone Pictures" Album, but I'm not certain.
My particular concern is with the loss of the orientation flag (which results in all portrait images rotated 90* CCW).
Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

Deleted album off iPhone (synced from CD), won't sync album back onto iPhone 5C running iOS 8.1

I was trying to remove a certain song from my song, and came to the conclusion that I could get the selected music back after REMOVING ALL MUSIC FROM MY PHONE. This deleted the songs I wanted to keep, but not the one I wanted to delete. Anyways, that's not the point. After this, I tried to re-sync the CD (Taylor Swift - 1989) back onto my phone, but to no avail. Here are a few screenshots to help better understand my situation.
The songs still play when I am on the CD, but when I try to play them from the iPhone (second image), they do not play. Please help when possible. This is not urgent, but I would like to have it fixed soon.

Solved. I went into the iPhone (second image) and under music in the first list, I unselected the "Sync Music", Applied changes, Synced my phone again, and then turned "Sync Music" back on. After syncing, the music started playing again.

Syncing Video back into iPhone

I took a video with iPhone, loaded into iPhoto, put in a picture folder, but when sync that folder back onto phone, the video isn't there, just the stills are.
So how do I do that?

Did you check the "Include videos" checkbox in the "Photos" tab of the sync window in itunes.

Itunes sync without backing up iphone

How do you synch certain playlists from your itunes on your PC to your iphone, without backing up the phone. I have checked in the "preferences" box to not synch automatically, but then when I go to sync the music it starts backing up anyway.

You restored your computer back to factory settings without creating or updating a backup for all important data which should include your iTunes library? You lost all data on your computer - documents, photos, etc., or just your iTunes content - music, movies, tv shows, apps, etc.?
iTunes includes an option to transfer iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store from an iPod, iPad, and iPhone, but this is for iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store only.
First you need to re-authorize your computer with your iTunes account with iTunes if you haven't already done so. With your iPhone connected and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone.
Since this won't be the last time you have to re-install Windows, be sure to include your iTunes library with your computer's backup following the instructions included with this link immediately before beginning the process.

ITunes won't sync or back up iPhone 4.

I tried uninstalling everything on the computer and then re-installed it all, and nothing works! Every time I try to sync the phone it freezes at "backing up". iTunes is running the most current version, but it won't let me install the newest 5.0.1 on the iPhone because it keeps freezing during the back up. I haven't been able to sync/back-up since I upgraded the iPhone's software a couple weeks ago to 5.0.

I spoke to customer service and they said to reset your iphone by holding down both the power and round button at the same time to reboot. Should have never downloaded the IOS 5.0.1 There's no other solution but to reboot everytime your Iphone 4s freezes.... Hope this helps

Unable to sync music back to iphone on the imac

I have just updated to the latest OS on my iphone, but when I try and sync my music back to the phone it won't let me, Last time this happened I spoke to Apple and I had to press some keys on the keyboard but I can't remember what they are can anybody help?

Take a known good computer, force sync it to MobileMe. Then take the iMac, and have it force sync from MobileMe down.

I believe that's a feature of the software you're using to transfer the pics, not the iPhone's.

You don't - not without a paid 3rd party utility.
All photos transferred from your computer via the iTunes sync/transfer process are optimized for viewing on the iPhone - the original resolution is reduced, which is why transferring these photos in the opposite direction is not supported.

No it's not stealing. They have an allowance that you can share with so many computers/devices. You'll have to authorize her computer to play/use anything bought on your acct. You can do this under the Store menu at top when iTunes is open on her computer.
As far as getting it all on her computer....I think but I am not sure (because I don't use the feature) but I think if you turn on Home Sharing in iTunes it may copy the music to her computer. I don't know maybe it just streams it. If nothing else you can sign into your acct on her computer and download it all to her computer from the cloud. Not sure exactly how to go about that, I haven't had to do that yet. I wonder if once you authorize her computer and then set it up for automatic downloads (under Edit>Preferences>Store) if everything would download. Sorry I'm not much help on that.

If you do a restore you will lose everything. Some things will be backed up in iCloud but not everything.

I have installed upgraded itunes, upgraded my Iphone operation system to 5.1, and installed Icloud. This is where the problems all began.
Icloud and I have everything (contacts, calendar events, photos) so messed up, it would take a Apple Surgeon to fix it all. Is there a way to start over and go back to syncing my ipad, and iphone with itunes....it was sooooo easy and all units were the same.

Pictures are not stored in iTunes.
Any pictures taken with the device, like with any other digital camera, are designd to be copied off the device to the computer on a regular basis. Via iTunes, pictures that the user chooses to have on the device can be synced back.
As Ralph stated, updating iTunes will not affect the media in the library. That being said, it has always been very basic to maintain a backup of important files. If you do not currently have a backup of your important files, I would strongly encourage you to make one.

If it's in recovery mode, the data is already gone. Why did you never back up your important data?

How do you sync playlist made on iPhone 6 back to iTunes on Macbook Pro? The playlist name shows up but with no content.

I made a playlist on my iPhone 6 and thought it would sync to my iTunes account when I connected my phone to my Macbook Pro but it did not. The playlist name showed up under my playlist names, but there was no content in it and it had a different playlist symbol (music note with bars) than the Smart Playlists (gear) I have made in the past on my computer. The playlist has a few hundred songs on it, so I don't want to have to do it manually. Is there a way to get the playlist content I made on my phone into my iTunes on my computer? Thanks!

If you created an on-the-go playlist then from page 81 of the manual:
"When you make an on-the-go playlist and then sync iPhone to your computer, the
playlist is saved on iPhone and in your iTunes library, then deleted from iPhone.
The ﬁrst is saved as “On-The-Go 1,” the second as “On-The-Go 2,” and so on.
To put a playlist back on iPhone, select iPhone in the iTunes sidebar, click the Music tab, and set the playlist to sync."
