Syncing IPAD WITH COMPUTER WIRELESS

I'm using Apple IPad Nano Version 8.1.2 (12B440) and Desktop running Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1 with iTunes 12.0.1.25 installed.
The desktop is connected to a VDSL Modem Router via Cable and the IPad is using the wireless connection from the same modem.
I'm able to sync the IPad to a Playlist on Itunes on the Desktop using the IPad cable.   In Itunes I have selected "Sync with this IPad over Wi-Fi".
When The IPad is ejected from Itunes and another song is added to the Desktop Playlist it does not appear on the Playlist on the IPad.  What am I doing wrong or am I trying something that is not designed to work?

When the iPad is ejected and the cord removed I expect the wireless sync to add another song that I have added to the iTunes playlist.  There is no indication showing.
This (wireless sync) is the part you need to troubleshoot. You can't expect new songs/playlist to magically appear on the device if wireless sync doesn't even work.
You can manually initiate sync'ing from either iTunes or the iPad and watch how it goes. It'll tell you if sync finishes successfully or if there's a problem.  The usual suspect is usually misconfigured (Windows) firewall rejecting traffic from/to the iPad. Router configuration is worth checking as well.

I don't want to sync what is on my iPod to my iPad. (I have a 32gb iPod but only 16gb on iPad. The iPod I use mostly for music.) I can't seem to add the films I have downloaded onto iPad to iTunes. If I could do that, I could erase them from iPad to create more storage.
    This is intensely confusing, sorry.

    Question.....
"I own an iPhone4, an iPod 3rd generation and an iPad 2. I use the same iTunes library but unfortunately synced iPad with a different computer before syncing to my own. Do I risk losing the films/apps I've downloaded onto my iPad if I sync with my iPod?"
    Answer.....
Yes you will lose the films that you downloaded to the iPad when you sync with your own iTunes unless you transfer the purchases into your own iTunes library. Were these movies that you purchased? If so, you might be able to download them again for free. Do you have multiple computers that you sync from or is this someone else's purchased content?
You can select whatever you want to sync to all of your devices in iTunes, you do not have to sync the same content to all device.

  • Lost my apps when sync iPad with iTunes

when sync iPad with iTunes, apps purchased in iPad by another account were lost, and the apps can't be seen when check for available downloads. How to get back the purchased apps? thanks.

If you lost all your apps on both the iPad and the computer, you can download the apps again at no cost. You can search your emails for app store purchases if you can't remember all the apps that you have downloaded.

How can I sync iPad with Outlook?

Connect your iPad to your computer and open iTunes. Look under 'info' and you may need to scroll down. The option will be there to sync your outlook calendar (or more) with the iPad. Choose what you want and sync to 'save' the settings.

Are the other iPods models, same version as yours. The 2 New FM Tx may need a new iPod software, which you can update via iTunes.

  • I've synced iPad with iTunes, but it keeps telling me that there are purchases on my iPad that need to be transferred?

I've synced iPad with iTunes, but it keeps telling me that there are purchases on my iPad that need to be transferred before I can run the iOS update or I will lose them.  What should I do?  How do I figure out what purchases have not been transferred?   I went into iTunes on my Mac and ran "Check for available downloads" and I still get same message.

The 'cehck for available downloads' checks if there is anything in the store that you haven't yet downloaded, it won't copy anything from the iPad. Have you tried doing File > Devices > Transfer Purchases ?

  • Can i print from my ipad with an wireless printer and an apple app or do i have to have an airprinter?

Can I print from my ipad with an wireless printer and an apple app or do I have to have an air printer?

It depends on the printer and if it is shared on your home network.
I have a wireless HP printer, but it is not an E Printer and cannot print directly from my mobile device.  I purchased an Epson all in one E Printer so that I could print from my tablet.  THe printer cost me less than $90 at Walmart.

    Hi
This is a little confusing.  What is the end result you are looking for?
    1. What Iphone and IOS do you have?
    2. What Ipad and IOS do you have?
    3.  What "syncing " are you talking about?  iTunes or iCloud
    4.  What Vista version are you running - does it include Service Pack 2?

  • Can you sync Ipad with more than one computer?

I am just curious, can I associate my Ipad with more than 1 computer.  I have a desktop and a laptop both with itunes and same library.  Can I sync the Ipad on both computers without it totally erasing the Ipad or should I only sync it on one computer?
Than kyou in advance for the help.

In theory - If the libraries are identical, yes it should work. Keeping the libraries identical might become a little challenging. You may want to make sure that you always manually transfer purchases whenever you sync to each computer to make sure that all content is always being transferred into each iTunes library and I would think that you would want to backup each time you sync as well. And you might want to sync with the one computer right after you sync with the other computer so that all of your data remains intact in the backups of both computers.
You can always check by giving it a try and see of you get the "this iPad have been synced to a different computer" message and see what happens. If the message pops up, just cancel and don't sync.
However, I wouldn't recommend doing this unless you absolutely have to for some reason.

  • Sync iPad with another computer?

Does anyone know how I can sync my iPad on another computer? I've installed lots of apps on one computer, but I have some music, movies and other apps on another laptop that I want to sync onto the iPad. I do NOT want to replace everything already on the iPad with the second laptop's library, I want to ADD them to the iPad.
    Thanks.

Make sure that you are logged into your iTunes account on the computer. Also go to the Store menu and make sure the computer is authorized. This must be the same account you were already using for the iPad.
Now try to transfer purchases again. The apps really should sync with iTunes, but never having done this myself, I could easily be wrong.
If that fails, you can refer this article about How to transfer and sync contents from iPad to Computer, which includes detailed guide to help you sync iPad files to new computer.
