Try authorizing the new computer usinjg iTunes with the new Apple ID.
Launch iTunes. From the menu bar (top of your screen) click Store > Authorize This Computer
Then try syncing.

  • Sync music with 2 different apple accounts fails

    Hello,
I have got two different Apple ID's, one in the German iTunes Store and one in the Spanish iTunes store. The Spanish ID I mostly use for icloud but sometimes to purchase Apps or other Media in Spanish but I usually use the German iTunes ID... so far without problems.
A week ago I downloaded some music by accident with the Spanish ID and tried to sync them to my iPhone or iPad mini (on which I have got many songs purchased via the German ID). I tried to push the new songs manually in different way's but without success... I also tried to change the ID on my iPhone or even in iTunes (Mac) but cannot get them moved. Strange is, that when I have my iPhone connected to iTunes, I can see in front those songs a ring with interrupted lines..
Does anyone has an idea? Many thanks in advance
    BR
    Christian
Using MacBook Pro with OS X 10.9; iPhone 4 and iPad mini with iOS 7.0.4 and iTunes 11.1.3

If you are using different iTunes Store accounts on the same Windows or Mac OS X user account and haven't explicitly set up a separate library, there will only be one iTunes library regardless of how many iTunes Store accounts you have. iTunes libraries are completely separate from iTunes Store accounts.

I have bought itunes songs on an ipad with my daughter apple id. i would like to back them up on the same computer I sync my iphone with using my apple id but they will not transfer. Both iphone and ipad have only been synced on the computer mentioned since they were purchased. Is there any way to get the ipad music transferred to the computer?

And they were definitely purchased from the iTunes store, they show on the account's purchase history (Store > View Account on a computer's iTunes, or you can view the last 90 days purchases via http://reportaproblem.apple.com) ?
You could potentially log into the account on that computer's iTunes (Store > Sign Out to log out of your account, that will then change to a Store > Sign In option) and redownload them by clicking on the id towards the top right of the iTunes screen and Purchased on the popup :
But that will potentially tie that computer to that account for 90 days : Manage your associated devices in iTunes - Apple Support
Or do you have a different computer that you could redownload them on and then copy them over to that computer via a flash drive or memory card, and then add them to its iTunes via File > Add To Library ?

I have a school ipad with iCloud using a different ID (my school email address) . I am leaving and want to buy my own ipad and transfer all my data and docs to my personal iCloud account but don't know how to do this without deleting all data and photos?

    Heya Katie!!
So, the article you have there, HT4895, is pretty good. Just look at the FAQ section of it.
But basically, you will want to create a backup on your computer through iTunes...Just plug your current iPad into it and make sure your iPad and iTunes are logged in with the same Apple ID. At that point, just create a backup.
When you get your new iPad, and before you plug it in or set it up, follow the directions in this link to change your Apple ID. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5621?viewlocale=en_US
Once you have that done, plug your new iPad into your computer to sync up with iTunes. Follow the directions for Restore from Backup and it should bring all that info back to your new iPad.
And changing your Apple ID email info will allow you to have your own!!! This should solve all your issues and GL!!!

  • How do i delete my iCloud account from my iPad with an updated Apple ID?

How do i delete my iCloud account from my iPad with an updated Apple ID?
It requires i log into FindMyiPad to delete the iCloud account however the Apple ID has changed therefore the username/password no longer exists.
This is just sending me in circles to log into to a non-existant apple id with no password to delete my iCloud so i can log in with my updated apple ID.

Settings/iTunes and App Store log out then log in with new ID.  you might want to change ID in iMessage, FaceTime and Siri and delete the cloud account and create one with new ID.  remember apps are forever linked to the ID used to download them and can only be updated with that ID

  • Sync iPad with 2 Apple ID's?

I have an iPad 2 that I use for work. For this I have a "work" Apple ID which I use for synching with my work laptop. But is it possible to also sync the iPad with my "private" Apple ID and MacBook?

What you want to do is difficult. You can mix content from more than one Apple ID on the same iOS device, but that is easiest when the content is mixed together in the same iTunes library. When you sync your iPad to the work ID and laptop it will erase everything that is on the iPad. The same with your personal ID and the MacBook. There is a new ability in iOS 5 to sync specific content wirelessly to an iOS device. You could be syncing photos from your personal Mac and be syncing the Apps from your work laptop, but you cannot sync all content from multiple computers separately.

How can I sync my husbands iPad with a different apple id with my ical?
He just got an ipad and he has a seperate Apple id, and we need to sync the address book and the ical togeher?

You can add your iCloud account to his iPad as a secondary account to his primary account (settings > mail, contacts, calendars) and enable just contacts and calendars.

  • HT1535 I own an iPhone4, an iPod 3rd generation and an iPad 2. I use the same iTunes library but unfortunately synced iPad with a different computer before syncing to my own. Do I risk losing the films/apps I've downloaded onto my iPad if I sync with my i

I don't want to sync what is on my iPod to my iPad. (I have a 32gb iPod but only 16gb on iPad. The iPod I use mostly for music.) I can't seem to add the films I have downloaded onto iPad to iTunes. If I could do that, I could erase them from iPad to create more storage.
    This is intensely confusing, sorry.

    Question.....
"I own an iPhone4, an iPod 3rd generation and an iPad 2. I use the same iTunes library but unfortunately synced iPad with a different computer before syncing to my own. Do I risk losing the films/apps I've downloaded onto my iPad if I sync with my iPod?"
    Answer.....
Yes you will lose the films that you downloaded to the iPad when you sync with your own iTunes unless you transfer the purchases into your own iTunes library. Were these movies that you purchased? If so, you might be able to download them again for free. Do you have multiple computers that you sync from or is this someone else's purchased content?
You can select whatever you want to sync to all of your devices in iTunes, you do not have to sync the same content to all device.

How do I use Home Sharing with two different apple accounts?

    Morning Saintine,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
Home Sharing enables you to stream or transfer music, movies, TV shows, apps, and more among up to five authorized computers in your household. To do so, you will need to Turn on Home Sharing on each computer using the same Apple ID.

I have an iPod touch and an iPad on the same apple account.  If I purchase the same album on both devices without syncing to my computer will I be charged twice?

Yes. You're supposed to move it to the second device from the computer and not redownload it from the iTunes Store.

Thanks. I had tried that, but was still having problems. Then I realized that I was using three addresses on both devices.  Once I changed it to only one email on one iPad and a different email on the other, it worked great. Your message encouraged me to dig deeper and think differently. It worked. Thanks again!

  • Can't sync device with itunes using WiFi

I want to sync my iPad with iTunes using WiFi, I found some instructions here, and I achieved all of it, and when trying to sync using the device I go to Settings > General > iTunes Wi-Fi Sync > Sync , but when removing the device usb from the pc and connecting it to an outlet power source the sync button in the device is disabled and the device displays a message like "waiting for PC_Name to be available" although the iTunes is opened in the PC and both the PC and the iPad are connected to the same WiFi, I tried to solve the problems using the instructions here but it didn't solve my problem.

finally found the solution, after a lot of searching I found the solution here at linders09 answer:
"I had the same problem but I was finally able to fix it. TIf you still haven't fixed this you can ry this. Go to control panel > rogrms and features > find the apple mobility device support > right click and hit repair. After I did this I had no issues syncing over wifi. Hope this helps!"

  • How can i open my locked ipad with a forgotten apple id?

how can i open my locked ipad with a forgotten apple id?

If you’re being asked for your own Apple ID, either use Apple’s iForgot service or contact their Account Security team.
If you’re being asked for someone else’s Apple ID, you need to contact the device’s original owner(if this is you, take the device and its purchase receipt to a physical Apple Store) or the person who set the lock.

  • Copy app data from one iPad to many using Apple Configurator

I'm wondering if it's possible to copy customized content created with a particular app to a group of supervised iPads using Apple Configurator 1.4.1 that have the same app installed? The application in question is called Sight Words (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/sight-words-list-learn-to/id445708245?mt=8). I have an instructor who made their own word lists and audio recordings for this particular app on their device and would like the content propagated to student devices. Thank you for your help!

Ipads are made with the letter i for a reason.  isolated, indivudual, introverted,
We have the same bug. iPads fail in education settings.
    workaround:
    a) hope/pray/wish  that the ipad app has a way to import via iTunes from a desktop mac.  For example. We manage the ipads with configuator, then quit configurator.  Then I connect one ipad to my mac with USB. Before I do this i check that all apps on the mac and ipad are closed. I launch itunes, and then using itunes there is a tab called apps, and then a few apps support itunes file transfer.  Learningally.org has an ipad app that let's me push out files to the app from a desktop mac using itunes.  That's a rare app feature.
    b)  Setup the ipads with a generic mail account.  We use a restricted email account called robot.  I can then email an attachment to that address  [email protected]    Then on each ipad the kids open mail, and then click the attachment and say "open with".    That is rare, but some apps can then import your word list.
    c) Buy android tablets that allow many types of file transfer
