Syncing ipod nano, received error 13019

Hi,
I need help in this.
I have a 5th gen 16GB ipod nano and 8GB ipod Touch (iOS 5.0.1).
When I want to sync music to the nano, I received error 13019. But when I sync music to iTouch, there is NO error.
Can anybody help me here??? By the way, the iTunes is the latest version and I manually manage my music.
Thanks =)

  • Sync iPod Nano: receives only outdated Contacts

I recently bought an iPod Nano (4th generation? early August 2006). I have tried to synchronize my contacts and calendar with it, but in both cases the iPod displays outdated information: an old version of my calendar and an old version of my contacts.
I have had endless problems synchronizing with my .Mac account, too, which no one has been able to solve.

Some more information: I just restored downloaded iTunes 7 and restored my iPod to factory settings. I updated my addressbook manually.
Then I synced, using iTunes 7.
An address book was copied, but it is a completely out-of-date version of my address book. What gives?

  • IPod Nano synching error 13019

I've seen this error message in other posts and (I think) I've tried all the suggestions to no avail.  My issue is that I didn't start getting this error until I switch to an iPhone a couple of months ago.  Everything synchs properly to the iPhone, but my iPod will only synch podcasts, no music will synch over!
I've tried deleting the music library on my laptop (I operate on Vista), I've tried resetting the iPod to factory settings, I've synched the iPod with nothing checked, I've rebooted my laptop, I've shut down my iPod and restarted, etc and I still get the error message.
    Anyone have any suggestions?

  • After restoring ipod nano it wont sync with itunes. states error 13019 occured

after restoring ipod nano it wont sync with itunes. states error 13019 occured

I seem to recall that another user has this problem and found that it was because of some corrupted music files they were trying to sync over.
Try syncing smaller bunches of tracks till you come upon the ones that cause the error. You should be able to find out which ones are causing the trouble this way.
The other user said they used something called MP3Diags. I cannot vouch for this software at all, I have never used it.
I did a quick search on "how to repair MP3 files on Mac" and also found this:

  • Syncing ipod nanos

I have just purchased an ipod nano and when I try to sync it itunes freezes and I have to shut down itunes and restart it. I don't think it is a problem with itunes becasue it still syncs and updates my iphone without any problems. Anyone else experiencing similar problems ?

Do you have any better luck with that if you update to iTunes 10.6.1.7?
From the notes for the release:
iTunes 10.6.1 provides a number of improvements, including:
    • Fixes several issues that may cause iTunes to unexpectedly quit while playing videos, changing artwork size in Grid view and syncing photos to devices.
    • Addresses an issue where some iTunes interface elements are incorrectly described by VoiceOver and WindowEyes.
    • Fixes a problem where iTunes may become unresponsive while syncing iPod nano or iPod shuffle.
    • Resolves an ordering problem while browsing TV episodes in your iTunes library on Apple TV.

My ipod has received error code (9).  I have tried to restore, but failed.  Any idea how to restore back to original settings?

    Error 9
This error occurs when the device unexpectedly loses its USB connection with iTunes. This can occur if the device is manually disconnected during the restore process. This issue can be resolved by performing USB troubleshooting, using a different USB dock-connector cable, trying another USB port, restoring on another computer, or by eliminating conflicts from third-party security software.

  • ITunes displays -48 error message when syncing iPod Nano on Windows XP

My girlfriend's mom's iPod Nano ran out of charge while jogging so she decided to charge it on her daughter's iHome. The next day she went to use her iPod but it was totally empty of all music and files. When she tried to sync it to iTunes, she received an eror message stating, "An unknown error has occurred (-48)" from iTunes and a Windows message stating that some iPod folder/file was corrupted.
If anyone receives such a message, I was able to correct it by:
-Plugging in your iPod to your PC
    -Ignore the error messages
    -Go to My Computer
-Find your iPod's drive letter (ie. G:)
-Right-click on it and select Properties
-Go to Tools Tab >Error-checking and select Check Now
You should be able to sync your iPod as before. I do not claim to be an expert so be warned that it may not work for you. Good luck!

Thanks for the question. The following resource provides information if you are receiving a -50 error message when syncing:

  • Unknown Error (-48) when syncing ipod nano in Itunes

I got a new ipod nano chromatic and have had it about 5 months. Then today i plug it in and the battery was pretty low -it kept saying that it cant sync and that it has experienced an unknown error (-48).
*** is this and how can I fix it. I have charged the ipod up, so surely it isnt the battery.
    Help!

Have you tried restoring your iPod? Restoring will erase the iPod's hard drive, reload the software and put it back to default settings. Once the restore is complete follow the on screen instructions to name the iPod and automatically sync your songs and videos onto the fresh installation. Press Done and the iPod will appear in iTunes and start to sync. If you want to update manually or using selected playlists uncheck the box beside the sync automatically instruction and press Done, it will default to manual mode and you can choose whatever setting you like: Restoring iPod to factory settings with iTunes
