Syncing Itunes on computer to phone. need help please
I have songs in my itunes library on my computer. I want to sync them to my iphone. I clicked on the sync button under the music tab and it told me that if I synce the music to be put on my iphone then I will lose all content on my iphone. Does this mean I will lose apps, contents ect on my iphone or just the music that is already on my iphone? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
The content on my iphone is what I have put on my iphone (apps, contacts, pictures, ect.) I have never synced this iphone with any computer before. I synced the phone with my computer yesterday and it messed up some of my contacts and replaced all of my photos with the old photos I had on my old iphone. So I have already lost a bunch of pics. I only have one song actually on my iphone but I have alot on my itunes account. I want to put my music on my iphone but Im worried it will mess up the other stuff on my phone because a box popped up and said that all content will be lost on my iphone. I am not sure if it just meant the music I already have on the phone or everything.

As it says above, i have been having a lot f trouble with my ipod classic and the latest itunes update, i was unable to sync songs or anything to it and have tried every conceivable 'fix' i could find. i have run an itunes diagnostic and the results are posted below. a major problem is that when i try and view my ipod through my computer it displays nothing at all on the ipod, no files or anything, this may be the problem but i have no idea how it has happened or how i could resolve it.
This ipod holds huge sentimental value and i am loathe to buy a new one! If anybody can help it is greatly appreciated, than kyou in advanced.

My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc. -
Hi - I have set up a new ipad which I bought to replace my stolen ipad. I had a number of i-books synced to my windows 7 PC Itunes, and the new ipad will only sync the music - The books were in e-pub and PDF format. My i-books has the category labels but no books, even though I can see them on my PC in itunes. Can anyone tell me how I can get them to sync onto my ipad please?

DesYou cannot transfer content between two accounts. The sooner you make the conversion, the better. Just pick the new one and start using it(buying music etc).
*A lot of people open new accounts when their email changes or they have a new email. You can just access your apple id account and change the primary email that you use to log in along with other details. -
Computer Fried. Need Help Please!!
My PowerBook fried this weekend, and I can't even turn the power on. I want to get files off of my hard drive and someone suggested an external hard drive casing.
Is their a specific type that works well for macs?Would have recommended one from macsales.com, however, they are sold out. If you can find an external parallel ATA/IDE case that uses the oxford chip set, that typically works well with macs. You might take a look at http://www.newegg.com at cases, they also have user comments and you can usually find someone who is using it with a mac.
Once in the external case, if you plan on using it with another Powerbook, you may either want a case with a Firewire connection (works fine with power from Powerbook and can be a boot device, if you want) or if USB, be aware that the Powerbook doesn't put out much electrical juice on the USB port, and often the external drive won't be recognized. Solution is either to use a power adapter with the external drive, use a powered USB hub, or get a dual USB connector cord to use both Powerbook USB ports. Of course, if you're going to plug the external drive into a non-Powerbook mac, you don't have those concerns. -

If it's showing the disabled screen then you will need to connect it to the computer that you normally sync to and you should then be able to reset the iPad and restore/re-sync your content to it (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212) - you may need to put the iPad into recovery mode in order to be able to reset it : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808

If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. -
