Syncing iTunes TV Shows

I have a 30 GB 5th generation iPod. Paid for the first season of Ugly Betty. See it all in my Purchased Folder. When I sync, I have folders for Music, Photos, Videos, Extras but no TV Shows and can't drag the Purchased TV Shows onto My iPod either as a circle with a line through it appears when I try that. HELP!!!!!!!

So, I "fell onto the answer." In the TV Show folder in iTunes, I accidentally clicked one of the episodes that I had downloaded. A message appeared asking if I wanted to view this show on 1 of my 5 computers that I was licensed to see it on. When I clicked Yes and re-synced my iPod. . . Voila! a TV Show folder appeared on my iPod and each episode proceeded to download. I've read through gobs of information. Why is this not mentioned anywhere???????

Connect and select the iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs which allow you to specify which of your content to sync to the iPad. There is some about syncing in the iPad manual which you can download from here : http://support.apple.com/manuals/#ipad . There is also some info on these pages about syncing music , apps and photos

HT1386 I have synced the items from itunes to an iphone 4 without problem, except the two albums I just purchased did not sync. They show up on the itunes on my desktop and on my ipod, but not on the new iphone. What do I need to do?

I have an itunes account and an ipod, and when I purchased 2 albums on the computer they synced straight to the ipod. I bought an iphone and used the usb cord from the computer to it to sync the itunes albums to the new phone. Everything transfered, and those were albums I had uploaded (not purchased from the itunes store), except the two albmus I just purchased from the itunes store. They appear on my itunes on the computer and ipod, but not on the iphone. What did I fail to do or did I do incorrectly?

This might sound weird, but here's an idea which worked for me re music that was newly added to itunes and showed up in my ipod but wouldn't play - I simply played the tracks in itunes first, just a second of time or so will do it, not the whole track, then connect the ipod and sync again and this time they played - hope this helps.

Hello all, I am writing this message in the hope that somebody can help me to solve my issue with my iPod touch fourth generation. It has been unable to sync with iTunes, but shows up in windows as the iPod touch. I also had this problem with my older iPods as well (Ipod nano 4th Gen, iPod touch 2nd gen(Batteries done for that one)) I can sync music with iCloud, but I have a bunch of songs that are not in the store, and I sincerely want to add those, alot.
I've checked the "iPod appears in Windows but not in iTunes" with the link here: (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1363), and followed that process, but to no avail, it does not solve the problem. I've tried to reset the entire ipod by making it enter DFU mode and then rebooting the entire iPod (shows up in iTunes in temporary mode) but once restored, does not appear in iTunes, but still in Windows detected still as a iPod, looks like the iPod and everything. I also have the most uup-to-date iTunes installed (10.5 I believe, just got it today)
This is extremely frustrating because that is why I purchased the iPod (and for the games and apps, those are great too). The iPod was also purchased three days ago, and the setup still didn't detect it. I am not mad at anybody here or the Apple company itself, but I have not found any help online with the browsing option (for support of course).
Please, I would absolutely love the help, i'd be eternally grateful for it.

Never mind, turns out that by uninstalling the programs "Megakey" and "Megaupload" it had resolved this issue.

Take in mind this is my first time to sync with this laptop(HP 15 ENVY) and as well my laptop is just brand new. just got it a week ago. so how do i fix this prob. and also when i open my itunes store and then view my account it says error occurred either debug it through Microsoft visual studio or close program. I tired copying all the .dll files to the itunes folder didn't help

I cannot address the sync services error right now, but the error that you receive when you change from sync to manually manage music is what happens when you change. Once you change to manually manage music, it erases all of the music and will only put the music that you want on the phone, content that you manually drag over to it. i recently upgraded to ios 6 on my ipod touch 4th gen and it wont sync with itunes
(wont show at all) but it shows on my computer on windows 7
i can use wifi with no problems at all however i can only wifi with my phone and not via broadband

I have the exact same issue, also with an iPod Touch 4th gen. I can't even sync over wifi though. Try this, connect the iPod to the computer, Hold the power and action button for 10 seconds until the iPod turns off, then keep holding the action button. With luck windows will popup that its found a device and may prompt you to re-download itunes to get the iboot driver...
I was running itunes 10.7.0.21 so I dont know why this is required. hate Crapple some times.
Download the newest itunes and re-install. It will likely give you the option to repair itunes. Do that. It may help you

Why will my new iPad no longer sync my non-iTunes TV shows?

My original iPad, as well as my iPhone 4S, synced perfectly with iTunes 10.6. I usually use the option Sync 3 Oldest Unwatched for the TV Shows that I add myself, but this no longer works for my new iPad; it does not recognize non-iTunes TV shows in my sync settings, and refuses to sync any of them unless I manually select the episodes. What could be the problem here?

Thank you for your reply and your suggestion. I did try using a different cable. The original cable was one that had been working perfectly well just last week. ITunes is still not styncing.

its fixed!! After posting my problem with the FROZEN ipod classic (2007) 80 gb a screen popped up with similar subjects that I did not find in my original search. 'Rich Fleming' in the community posted a suggestion to someone with a similar frozen issue and it WORKED when I tried it.
hold the 'menu' and the 'circle' buttons down at the same time, KEEP the pressed until the apple appears. and now it is working. Hope this helps others.

You are probably running OS 10.4 or 10.5 on a PPC Mac. No version of iTunes higher than 10.6.3 is available for these older Macs. I have the same problem, and while I can still use the PPC to sync my iPod, it can't be used to sync an iPhone 4 or higher. The only solution, as I discovered after upgrading to the iPhone 4, is to buy a newer Mac. I was able to get a 2006 MacBook running Lion for under $300, and that has been a lifesaver.
