Syncing Microsoft Outlook 2007 Contacts with User Fields to iPhone

When I sync my Contacts from Microsoft Outlook 2007 to the iPhone it transfers all general info and notes, BUT not the info displayed in User Fields 1-4 within contacts in Outlook.
So, my question -Is there any way/path to achieve getting this info in User Fields from Outlook to the iPhone or are there any apps available for purchase to achieve this issue?

Thats not an option. You can only sort by First name or Last name.
You can, however, create different contact groups in Outlook and sync them to the phone. You could subdivide by business, by industry, etc. to make the browsing easier.
You can also use the search box obtained with a right swipe on the home screen. There, you can put in the business name and all related contacts will show up.

After purchasing this nice bold 9700 I got in some trouble.
So here it goes.
After configuering the sync for the contacts in outlook.
I get the message (have to translate because I use the system in German):
due to the configuration of the application as "wireless" the application (contacts) was deactivated.
Please use the help function to deactivate the wireless synchronisation.
Already trying to understand and stopping all wireless, cellphone provider, .... I couldn´t transmit the data
someone knows how to handle this.

After I sync my apple iphone 3g with microsoft outlook 2007 contacts my apps will not load and start

I have an Iphone 3G about 5 years old and tried to sync it for the first time with microsoft outlook 2007 on my laptop and completed the sync for my contacts. After that, when I tried to used any downloaded apps, they will not load and start. I powered off theiphone and restarted it -- no change.
When I touch the app, it fills the screen for a split second as if it wants to start, but nothing happens. This is with all downloaded apps (free or paid for) only. Everything else works fine.

Sync Microsoft outlook for Mac with Apple calendar

Hi,
I run Microsofts Office 365 for Mac on my Macbook Pro, and manage my work Calendar (Which comes via a Microsoft Exchange server) on Outlook for Mac. My personal/Family Calendar runs on the Apple Calendar and therefore doesn't interact at all with the other calendar.
I would love to be able to Sync up both the Calendars, not necessarily bi-directional, but rather to use just my Apple Calendar to show both personal and business calendar events on one calendar. (i.e. pull in any events from the Outlook calendar into the Apple Calendar).
Does anyone know how/if I can do this, and if so how?

I do not follow what you're trying to do.
The device is already syncing contacts from an Exchange account? Or you want to be able to sync contacts from an exchange account without deleting the contacts already on the device?
Adding a new account to sync contacts does not affect the contacts already on the device.

If your Outlook 2007 is still not syncing to your phone I would like to recommend the following article to help you troubleshoot the Sync Services between your the two devices, named:
Troubleshooting Sync Services on Windows with Microsoft Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007, or Outlook 2010
First backup your data, THEN proceed with the articles troubleshooting step by step until it is resolved:
Back up your data
Refer to this Microsoft article for steps to back up the data in your PST file used by Microsoft Outlook 2003 or Microsoft Outlook 2007. This Microsoft article explains where the Microsoft Outlook 2010 data files are located.
For information about backing up the data in your OST file, contact your Exchange Administrator. Your OST file should be on the server and backed up when the server is backed up.
Before troubleshooting, it is recommended that you make a copy of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch backup in a safe place. For more information about where to find the backup and what information it contains, refer to About backups.

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only person struggling with exact issue. I've rebooted, upgraded, re-installed, pulled all my hair out as nothing works.
The biggest dissapointment with this thread is that nobody seems to have responded with a solution.
And yes I've managed to pull together enough intellegence to tick the box "sync to outlook" in iTunes - still nothing man.
Definately does not sync from phone to PC and is very hit and miss on PC to Phone. In other words now running 2 seperate calendars - Not helpful Jan.

How do i back up new phone contacts to microsoft outlook 2007 ?

iam using Windows 7 Home Premium OS, and have all my iphone contacts saved on microsoft outlook 2007.
Every time i add a few new contacts to my iphone 2G 3.1.3 OS, and sync it to Outlook 2007; all the contacts from outlook overwrite allcontacts on iphone. I end up losing all my new contacts created on iphone. I am using iTunes version 10.1.0.56.
Please help me with the right steps to save my contacts and messages and voice memos too.

The safest thing to do with your pictures is to import them to your computer, as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083. You can also back up your contacts separately by using an app like My Contacts Backup.
Then back up your phone, either to iCloud or to your computer using iTunes, as discussed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766.

you dont need computer. go to settings > icloud and turn off what you dont want like photostream/calendars/contacts. for itunes 11.1 you need to go to itunes.com and download it then install it.
