Syncing MIDI music

I am using Window 7 for iTune and iPad, I wanted to sync MIDI music to my ipad. But it didn't work. Why?

Is MIDI is no one of these formats it can't be played by the iPod app.
Audio formats supported: HE-AAC (V1), AAC (16 to 320 Kbps), Protected AAC (from iTunes Store), MP3 (16 to 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, Audible (formats 2, 3, and 4), Apple Lossless, AIFF, and WAV
There is Midi Player 2.0 available in the app store

I have an iPod Generation 4. I have been using it with my pc Windows 8 iTunes for some time with no problem. Recently I had to do a system restore and reinstall itunes 7. I upgraded my iphone 3GS and now it won't play sounds from apps or music. I also cannot sync my music onto my phone.. PLEASE HELP! :(

I recently upgraded my iphone 3GS to the new ioS 5.1. After I did this and synced my phone, it won't let me play any audio from apps, itunes or music. It will allow the phone to ring but that is all. When I use viber I have to press this button and change it from docking to iphone. I take it that the phone thinks I'm permanently on a docking system.
It also will not sync my music back to my phone. My music is on itunes but it won't let it sync.
I have restored my phone twice and it still won't work - HELP!! Please???

Your device is broken. If you want a device that works better than the one you have now, then you'll either need to bring your phone into Apple for out of warranty exchange ($149), or find a 3rd party repair shop in your area and see what they can do, if anything at all.

You need to have the latest version of iTunes on the computer, version 11.1.3 to be able to handle syncing a newer phone with iOS 7. The iTunes on the iPhone has nothing to do with syncing and is installed by the iOS.
Go to iTunes on the computer, click on Help, Check for updates to update iTunes on the computer, or go to to www.apple.com/itunes/download and download and install the latest version of iTunes to correct your problem.

ITunes to iPad 2 Music Sync Doesn't Completely Sync All Music

I've just updates my iTunes to 11.1.4 and iOS to 7.0.4.
Now I attempted to sync all my music and books from my Macbook OSX 10.8.5 to my iPad 2.
The books sync works perfectly. However, when I try to sync the music, only first song of each album are synced while the rest are not.
When I eject and reconnect the iPad, all the song are detected on the "On My iPad" tab, however the song don't appear on the iPad.
On the HD usage bar below, the unlisted songs are written as "Others", not as "Audio".
Anyone has idea what happened, and how to fix it? I've try restoring my iPad to erase all data, but the same issue happened over and over again each time I synced them.

I've figured out the main problem.
When I try to sync my iPad with iTunes, at some point usually it automatically cancels the sync.
I've tried to unselect the song from syncing with manual sync, but it still automatically cancels.
I've also tried unchecked and rechecked the Sync Music checkbox but the problem still presist.
Please, anyone can help me? Cause I need my iPad to be able to be synced with my iTunes.

My fiance and I share our home laptop, he is awaiting his new Mac arrival. During this time I have sold my old laptop and used this one, Toshiba Qosmio. When i plug my iphone 4 into iTunes and try to sync the music, it prompts a window that says if i sync music his, from his iphone 4s will override mine and erase my music. Isn't there a way I can have 2 seperate accounts or just delete his, as he is getting a new one? I have tried uninstalling although it still comes up to his account. TERRIBLY FRUSTRATED!!!! So I have found a common denominator to this phenomenon. After having the same problem, I started to recopy my playlist of 500+ songs in groups of 10-20, 30+, 75+, and then over a 100+. Any music I have purchased from iTunes won't copy, but everything else did. Unsure if I made a playlist called "Purchased" at some point or this is an iTunes default, I also noticed it had some of the songs contained in my other playlist and was showing on my iPhone. Regardless of what I did such as dragging music from that playlist to the other and clearing songs from that playlist, I removed it altogether from the iPhone itself vs. doing through iTunes. After that, music copied fine to my playlist.
So, my theory is that iTunes is getting tripped up on purchased tracks already showing on the phone and all songs are showing grayed out/dotted circle because iTunes can't resolve the conflict with purchased tracks.

I'm trying to sync my music from my libary to my iPhone 5 on Windows 7. I have the latest iTunes 11.1.5.5. But it only gets stuck with syncing, being frozen and nothing new appears in my library. I've also tried manage music manually and sync only check songs, etc. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

oh and apps sync fine, and I recently bought a new cords so I know it can't be a syncing in general failing, it's something to do with the music

i just synced my music to my iphone 5 and i have only one playlist but when i sync my music to my ipad i have other music on there that i don't want right now i just want my christmas playlist folder that i have playlists cause on my iphone 5 i just have one playlist which is christmas music playlist folder that has playlists in it which is what i only want on my ipad right now thanks

Here is what I did:
1. Connected my iPad to the computer.
2. Opened iTunes.
3. Pressed Music Tab.
4. Pressed the Selected Playlists, Artists, Albums, and Genres
5. Then in the Playlist box below I only have the Christmas music folder checked and all the playlists in that folder checked.
6. Then I Synced my iPad

Itunes will no longer sync new music to my ipod

I've had my ipod for a year and have been able to use it fine. Now, however, the ability to sync new music to my ipod has been removed. I've recently bought a new computer and successfully transferred everything over and been able to sync my ipod with the new computer and it has been working fine. THen I decided to buy some new music from the itunes store. At first I bought a few songs and placed them in a pre-existing playlist and that worked fine. Then I decided to download the next part of an audio book I bought a while ago off audible so I could listen to the next part and while I could download it it wouldn't add to itunes the way I've done it for the last 80 or so audiobooks I've downloaded from audible (go to file, select add file to library, find file, double click and then sync)
There was no error message, just when I synced it wasn't there. So I bought an album from the itunes store. Again, something I've done before. I can buy the album, I can download it, I can even make a playlist for the album and listen to it on my computer. When I sync I get no error message but nothing I try can get that album from my computer onto my ipod.
The only way I can listen to anything new (including the stuff I have already paid for) is to do so on my computer, which I don't want to do as I can't carry my computer around public transport with me. Besides, this is why I bought an ipod!
I'm not trying to do aything new, just what I've done before.

I want to keep the music and videos I purchased. Since it is an iPod classic (80GB) I cannot even use the iCloud. Is there a way to move my ipod's music so I can reformat it to my pc?

WIndows is asking you to reformat the iPod's hard disk because it's probably in the Mac OS X Extended Journaled file system format which the Windows OS can neither read or write to. Reformatting will erase all content from the device and rebuild the filesystem as FAT32 unless you specify it as NTFS (which you shouldn't do).
If you want to be able to use your iPod to copy music from your Mac to your PC, you'll need to either pre-format it as FAT32 using Disk Utility on your Mac and then copy everything over to your PC, or use third party software such as XPlay that allows a Windows PC to read and write to a Mac formatted iPod.
