Syncing mobileme Gallery over one account on 2 Macs

Hi,
I use 1 mobileme account to sync the adressbooks of my two Macs, that works fine.
On the ohter hand, Iphoto doesn't want to sync the moblieme gallery's on both macs.
In fact, Iphoto opens the mobileme Gallery on both of my Macs. but on one Mac it only shows the photos i published using that specific Mac, the rest of the photos, published with the other Mac show as blanks.
On the other hand when my friends upload photos using the Webbrowser, the photos show up on both Macs.
Does anybody have a suggestion, how to make this work ?

I have the same issue on my computers. It seems that MobileMe will not sync images to libraries that both came from the same location. So if you copied your iphoto library from computer A to computer B. and then added images to a gallery on computer A, those images will not show up on computer B. MobileMe seems to be tracking the library and will not sync the same content to a library it thinks is the "same".
Suggestions:
1.) Let Apple know that you are having this issue. iPhoto Menu > Provide iPhoto Feedback
2.) Rebuild one of the libraries that are affected. Follow the "Performing a "Manual rebuild"" section of http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2638. I did this on one of my systems and now it works fine. Keep in mind following these steps will only give you your pictures in the library in question. Albums, Books, Faces, etc. will not be there and will have to be re-created.

When you have upgraded, go to System Preferences > iCloud and follow its steps

Once you create the iPhoto MMe gallery the Album you originally used is not longer linked to it.
You need to copy the new photos from wherever in the library they are and paste them into the gallery album that you access in the Web section at the left.

I published an iPhoto album to my MobileMe account, and now the album is published, available for everyone to visit. I want to add a MobileMe Gallery widget to my homepage, but when i do so, the widget tells me to upload a gallery to my MobileMe and the album i created does not appear in the drop down menu. How can i resolve this?! Essentially i want a slideshow to appear on my homepage.

How to share or synchronize one account on multiple macs?

My family uses one account on iTunes on our central iMac. I would like two of children, who each have their own macs, to be able to access the same music library & purchase songs on their own. How is this done?

I think the best way would be to make different user accounts on the mac, and then just share the library. Then they should be able to see the shared iTunes library, and have their own accounts on iTunes personal to them as well.

Syncing MobileMe Gallery to iPhone

I created a few galleries on my MobileMe account, and have set them to sync with Aperture. When I launch Aperture, I see this MobileMe galleries in the project list. However, when I open iTunes to sync these galleries to my iPhone, they do not show up in the album list (in iTunes).
Any idea why this is?

Once you sync them from Aperture, they are on the Internet at MobileMe. You don't sync them to your iPhone. On your iPhone, open Safari and go to http://gallery.mac.com/iphone/"your username". You may want to add this url to your iPhone desktop if you visit it regularly.

Can I sync many iPods with one account on many computers?

My company has purchased iTouch's for each of our departments and we're loading iPharmacist onto them.
1. Can I create one generic iTunes account (e.g. [email protected]) for all the iTouch's to use?
2. If these iTouch's are set up by connecting them to a computer does the Authorization/DeAuthorization issue come into play when they plug them in for setup or updating of iPharmacist?

I've already answered this - you can authorize up to 5 computers with the same iTunes account with iTunes.
No more than 5 computers can be authorized with the same iTunes account with iTunes.
No iPod Touch will be updated via wi-fi until iOS 5.0 is released.

Yes, sync settings for each device are independent of each other.

How to move ONE account to another Mac

Greetings!
My wife and I have separate email accounts, running Mail, on my PowerBook. I need to go away for some weeks. What is the best way of moving her account/mailboxes/mail history to the kids' Mac while I am away? And then, of course, move it all back again?

Not so easy, if you have separate email accounts, btu lumped them into one instance of mail.
Do you use IMAP - e.g.: .mac or another IMAP account? If so, just set up the account on another computer and it will automatically synchronize. That's why I recomend people pay for 3rd party IMAP, rather than POP email accounts.
If not, then you could simply set up the account on the other machine and use it. Your history and address book would nto be present, but it would work ok. You could then copy all the emails sent and received while you are gone back to the original.
Moving (copy-ing) the entire Library/Mail folder, unfortunately, would move all of YOUR email too, and over-write the settings on the other machine. So I would not do that unless its essentially an unused machine.
Maybe someone else has a better idea.
If this happens a lot, consider buying an IMAP account. Several good companies sell them for $20/yr.

How do I sync iCloud calendar with Googlemail account (calendar) on Mac

I keep getting error notifications coming up on my Calendar in the Mac, its related to my Googlemail account, I basically want my google calender to sync with the iCloud so when I put events onto my iCloud it will automatically link with Google Calendar.
because when I add events on my mac on the googlemail account the error pops up and does not add the event onto it (when i check my phone).
I have an andriod phone so I can not just link things through iCloud as Android does not have this app (obviously)
I wants my Googlemail account to like with iCloud and vise versa.

Add your iCloud calendars (and Contacts if you wish) to your Android phone directly, don't try to go through Google.
You will need SmoothSync for Cloud Calendars.

TS3276 I can receive Emails on 2 accounts on my Ipad & Iphone but only one account on my mac
