Syncing movie screen for iPod touch wont scroll

When I connect my ipod touch, then go to movies tab in the itunes (v9.02) two or three lines of movie icons show and the tops of the next row. If i try too scroll down, the initial window goes up like a window shade and leaves me a blank screen, it does not reveal the rest of the movie icons. Is there some setting in itunes that will affect this or is it a bug?

ITunes stopped syncing movies on my iPod Touch

This one is driving me crazy today.
iPod Touch - latest generation. iOS 8.1.
iMac 27 - Yosemite 10.10. All updates current.
iTunes 12.0.1.26
For a few years now, I've had home videos of my granddaughter on my iPod Touch. About a dozen of them.
Today iTunes stopped syncing those. On the iPod I see some of the icons, but if I try playing the movies, there's nothing there.
Looked at the movies on my iPod Touch through iTunes ... all the movies have a grey, dotted circle on the left of the movie name in iTunes.
I've turned the iPod off, restarted the iMac a few times ... same result. iTunes goes through the sync cycle, no error messages, and then the same result - no movies on my iPod Touch.
I launched Console to see if any errors were reported there - cleared the list, ran the sync - no error messages relating to iTunes appeared in Console. (Many other suspicious entries in Console - mdworker errors etc etc but nothing about iTunes).
What on earth is going on? Any ideas/suggestions on how I can get my movies back on my iPod Touch?

there are quite a few different free programs you could use to convert.. and yes if you convert it to mp4 and added it to your itunes it should sync fine.. here is a good read on ripping/conversion for the ipod.

How can I sync movies to my iPod Touch when I get a message saying the movies can not be read or written? I just bought the movies yesterdayfrom iTunes with no problem.

I purchased four movies from iTunes yesterday and want to sync them to my daughter's new iPod Touch. I have been able to sync apps, music, contacts, etc. but keep getting a message stating the movies can not be read or written. I was able to sync one movie, a digital copy that I used the code to copy from iTunes earlier today without a problem. Can anyone help?

thanks for helping, I am able to watch the movies in iTunes, but, I can't choose the create iPod or iPhone version in the advanced menu. Do you have any other suggestions?

Syncing movies into my ipod touch

I have converted a movie file into mpeg4 format and uploaded into itunes,but on syncing my ipod touch via itunes, the movie file doesnt show on my ipod touch. Can you help me identify the problem? This has been happening to me quite often while uploading videos.

I have never seen size as an issue as long as you have enough space on the ipod touch for the file.
It's not an issue IF you convert it to iPod image size with iTunes.
For example, the touch can NOT play HD image size content.

I just bought an Ipad2. Today I downloaded the iBooks app directly to the Ipad. When I connected to my PC to sync, the iBooks transfered to itunes as planned. When I plugged in my Ipod touch 4th gen to sync, it told me that in order to get the ibooks app, i need to go to the app tab. When in the app tab I see the icons, and I am unable to adjust or click which apps to add. It is a shaded out version, where you can see but not edit. So I decided to go to itunes store to download the app, and it says downloaded, so I can download again.

Download directly from iPod touch. On iTouch, go to App Store, 'Update' Tab', select 'Purchased', then 'Not on this iPod Touch', scroll down to look for iBook and install.

Sync to itunes for IPOD touch

I am trying to create one itunes library for my ipod touch. My previous laptop broke on me. I was able to create a back disck before buying a new laptop. The problem is once I downloaded itunes onto the new pc it created two libraries esentially in one. I have to drag item from the original library into the new one. Is there anyway to merge the two libraries into one so it will just synce once my ipod is connected?

Let the battery fully drain. After charging for an hour try the reset (both buttons) and connect to computer and restore if necessary.

By third party we mean a place that is not an Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP) or Apple Authorized Distributor (AAD) - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1434
I browsed the iFix web site. Nowhere does it specifically state they are an AASP and usually places that are will make that immediately obvious. Their FAQ mostly mentions how to set up a franchise and does not state that repairs made by them will not void any Apple warranty. Apple is very particular about anybody working on their devices and if they detect somebody else has worked on a device (even if they do a good job) they could refuse to even look at a device again (warranty or not) in their shop. I'm not passing judgement on other companies, I'm just observing this so the OP knows in advance.

The underlined clause could be interpreted by Apple to be any sign of anybody else having worked on a device. This isn't just Apple. If somebody is going to warranty a service then they want to make sure they are not also covering anything that might have been caused by somebody else working on the device previously.

I purchased a movie in HD, but received the error message stated above. Since I can't watch it, is there some way to switch it out for a non-HD version? I wish I had known that it wouldn't play.

You can't transfer directly from one iPod to another, the songs have to be in iTunes and you update your second iPod from there. If you have any iTMS purchases the transfer of purchased content from the iPod to authorised computers was introduced with iTunes 7. The transfer of non iTMS content such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. Have a look at the web pages and documentation, this is just a small selection of what's available, they are generally quite straightforward. There is also a manual method of accessing the iPod's hard drive and copying songs back to iTunes on Windows. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!...i tried everything so far except throwing the ipod at the wall!!...it started when i tried syncing my 64gb 3rd generation iTouch to my iTunes for windws. everything was fine until midway during the sync itsaid (error-54) then everyhing became unresponsive. I erased all content from the ipod, nothing worked. So i reset it, still nothing. ..then i deleted everything off om my computer (a Compaq Presario CQ 56 with windows 7) i had all content saved already on an external hardrive. i erased ALL photos, ALL music, etc...then i deleted iTunes+ restarted my computer+ ran my antivirus program to make sure my computer was not corrupted..everything's running properly...so i re-installed iTunes and added all the music again onto it, hooked up the newly reset ipod+ the same problem occurred again and AGAIN!! ...so i had to factory restore the ipod as a last ditch effort, tried again and STILL had this problem!!...i looked up any potential similar issues and found out about the "locked songs", but nothing said HOW to fix this problem with iTunes for WINDOWS!..im not on a mac so i cant use the same steps that they used.....SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!!!!...i know the problem+ the solution now,but just not the correct steps to follow for MY situation!!!....anyone with the answer, please tell my how to do it STEP by STEP, i am good with computers, but get lost easily...need a simple solution!!!!

Can't sync movie to my iPod touch

I got a copy of the Hunger Games and put it on my iTunes account but when I try to sync it I get this message "The Hunger Games" was not copied to the iPod "iDevices iPod" because you are not authorized for it on this computer. How do I get "authorized"? I am an administrator on my girlfriends laptop which I share with her, so this isn't making sense.
