Syncing music from Sony Bridge not working

Hi. I am having problems synic my itunes music to my Z3. I have attached a screengrab of the Bridge for Mac sceen. It shows a blue arrow icon next to the songs I have selected to sync but does nothing else. the Sync button dose not highlight and basicly nothing happens. Can the Z£ play AAC files? I have converted some of these to MP£ but still nothing seems to work?

Hi Alford!
I'm very sorry for the time is talking.
I have now got a response from the development crew.
Will it work if you unlock your screen?
If it still doesn’t work can you please send me some log-files.
Here’s how to get error logs from Sony Bridge for Mac:
1. In BfM, hold the "alt" key down while selecting the "Phone" menu. Select "Clear logs" to remove all old logs and get a clean start
2. Reproduce the problem you're having, whether it's connecting the phone, importing photos, doing backup...
3. In BfM, hold the "alt" key down while selecting the ”Xperia” menu. Select "Export logs"
4. On the computers desktop there should now be a file named "SonyBridgeForMacLogs_[date].zip
5. PM that file to me
Sorry for the time it's talking.
Best regards
Fredrik

    help

Have you tried doing this directly from Bridge? (Tools > Photoshop > Load Files in Photoshop Layers)
Also, are you getting any error messages, or is the program simply not responding? I may want to move this thread to another forum, but here's a workaround that I pulled from this past thread:
Instead of opening your files via Bridge or Mini Bridge, in Photoshop go to File > Scripts > Load Files into Stacks. Then, click Browse to select your photos and click OK. All of your images will be collected into a single canvas, each on its own layer.

  • Syncing music on iPhone 4S not working - red circle with red square for all non iTunes purchased tracks and albums

    I have an iPhone 4S running iOS7.
Every time I sync all non purchased via iTunes music can't be played with a red circle with a red square next to it.
I need to update software , backup and move phones but I don't want to do so until I get this problem rectified.  When I try to run new software I get a message saying items have not synced and I may lose them if I carry on with download.
Does anyone have any ideas or experience?  How to get my music to sync on the phone and subsequently ho two ensure that I carry this music with me to the new iPhone i'e don't lose it on iTunes or to 'the cloud'.
    Thanks

This has worked for many people according to feedback I have gotten:
Un-sync all your music to remove it from the device, then restart (hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go). Now re-sync your music.

  • Unable to sync music from PC to iPhone 5 after installing ISO8

I really hope someone can help me as I have been struggling for over 30 hours trying now (in between studying and sleeping). I have been using iTunes for years, and I regularly create new playlists and sync them.  Last weekend I installed ISO 8 and deleted some music off my iphone to create enough room.  After installing it I connected my iphone 5 to my PC using a usb lead, selected the tracks and playlists I wanted to sync and hit SYNC. It ran through the steps 1 to 4 as usual, but then instead of listing the tracks it was syncing at the top (like normal) it just finished, completed, but the tracks are not on my iphone. I have been doing this for years, I am not an expert but I know how to sync music, it is just not working and I really need the playlists for a dance project at college tomorrow.  I have received a couple of error messages, one stating "The iTunes Library file cannot be saved. The disk could not be read from or written to" and another about syncing error. I am really desperate, any suggestions would be most greatly appreciated.

  • I tried to sync music from iTunes to my iPhone and when I click on "on this phone" the songs are there, but they are greyed out and have a circle in front of them.  I can not click on those songs and when I eject the phone they are not on the phone.

I tried to sync music from iTunes to my iPhone and when I click on "on this phone" the songs are there, but they are greyed out and have a circle in front of them.  I can not click on those songs, delete or anything and when I eject the phone they are not on the phone.  I tried to re-add the songs and it says it can't add songs because they've already been added.  So HOW can I get the songs to actually ADD to my phone to where I can listen to them?  It's like they're stuck in Sync limbo or something!  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am having the same problem. I have just tried this. Unplug iphone > open itunes > delete all music from itunes library > close itunes > re-open itunes > add music from original folder > plug in iphone > select songs > press sync > unplug iphone using eject button onscreen > checked phone .... still nothing in music folder on phone. On itunes the "On this iphone" tab the songs remain there but greyed out.

  • What if sync with new computer does not work. logical connection to old with WindowsXP, 32 bit version of iTunes. New is Windows7 with 64bit version

What if sync with new computer does not work?
logical connection to old with WindowsXP, 32 bit version of iTunes.
New is Windows7 with 64bit version

Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your iPod. Only if you back up your iPod manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
    Do this:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your iPod to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your iPod without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your phone for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the iPod for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in iTunes and transferred your purchases.
There is 3rd party software out there, but not supported by Apple, see this thread: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2013615&tstart=0

  • Unable to sync Z3 to Sony Bridge after update

    Hi,
recently updated Sony Bridge for Mac to the latest version, and attempted to sync Z3 to computer. However while the software tries to retrive information from my phone, it abruptly stops and informs me of that "it is unable to form a connection and try reconnecting. if problem persist, restart device". I've tried both and still have the same error. I've reinstalled the Bridge  software and am still getting the error. Is there anything i can do to fix this software issue?
The phone is perfectly working fine. am using usb cable that came with phone.

  • I cannot sync music from my iMac to my iPad.

I cannot sync music from my iMac to my iPad.
I have tried rebooting my computer, rebooting and iPad, and nothing works.
I'm using an iMac that runs OS X 10.9.1, iTunes 11.1.4 and my iPad Air runs iOS 7.0.4.  Please help!

I could not get music and videos from the computer to the iPad and vise versa although the computer apparently was backing up the iPad. After playing around with them a bit I finally got the two devices to share media again. i still get the message that the iPad and the computer cannot sync - now that i got them to start sharing again i'm not sure how them "not syncing" is going to affect me as yet.
    Thanks for the effort
