Syncing music to my Cosmos Touch

I have a Cosmos Touch and have had it for a while now. I am really happy with it, no complaints really. The only thing I find aggravating it syncing music to it!!! I have a SD card for my phone. I have an itunes music library and that is where all of my music comes from. A friend of mine just purchased the cosmos touch for his daughter and said that when he synced music to it, it was real simple and even converted the music file if needed to. I have had my phone since January and I was wondering if the newer ones have had updates to it.
When I sync music, I hook phone to PC, find itunes music library on my harddrive, find phone and drag & drop music into phone icon(for lack of better description). Is there and easier way to do this? I realize itunes is like Fort Knox, but this is totally aggravating. Really like the phone and all it does, just not easy to get music on it.

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then see if you can redownload your past music purchases (those that are still in the store) via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you are not in a country where music can currently be re-downloaded, then have you not got it on your computer and/or on a backup ? If not then you can try contacting iTunes support and see if they will grant you a re-download : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

If they are Tunes purchased music you have to sing into the account that purchased them.
Is this the iTunes library/computer you sync with? You can rally only "sync" with one iTunes library/computer.However, yo can manually manage music and videos among different libraries/computer. See the manual method of:

You can only sync with one computer. I would backup to one computer and then restore from backup.

When I try to sync music into my iPod Touch 5 the iTunes responds saying that I have don't have enough free space to sync the music however there is enough space.

just bought iphone 4 today from verizon and had the same problem. this is my 1st smartphone ever. apps all synced when i plugged it in to my computer except the music. this is what i did and it worked. plugged in phone to computer. then under the devices tab i clicked on the music tab. if you look to the bottom right of the itunes page there will be two tabs you can click on. one says settings and the other one says autofill. i clicked on the autofill and then it just started syncing. that was it. i'm not a tech guy by any means. just kinda of got lucky. i hope this helps you out. good luck!

I can't sync music onto my iPod touch after restoring

I have just restored and updated my iPod touch and now my music won't sync onto it. The music is still in my iTunes library and the "Sync music" box is ticked but the music will not sync onto my iPod.
My apps are no longer in my iTunes library to sync onto my iPod. My photos are still on the device and the wifi settings are still the same.
I have tried restoring and syncing my iPod touch again a few times and I get error message -54.

I can't find an iTunes error -54 anywhere, even from Google.
I would try:
Placing the iPod in Recovery Mode and then restoring. The iPod will be erased by recovery mode.
Place in DFU mode and then restore.

Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

It's NEW.
I got it in the mail a week ago, and updated it to iOS 7 before I started syncing anything. And I updated iTunes to 11. It syncs all of my apps problem free. And it syncs my photos. But the music is not transfering. My iPod touch 4th gen is working just fine. So what do I have to do to my new iPod to make it work?

ITunes won't sync music to my iPod touch

I recently tried switching the computer that my iPod syncs to. At first I got an error that there wasn't enough room on my ipod. I reset my ipod, I restored my ipod, I repaired itunes. Nothing has worked. Yes...the sync music box is checked. I'ved tried both entire library and individual folders. I have 1,485 songs that I'm trying to sync and it has only put 110 on my ipod. These were all on it before and I never had any issues on my other computer.
I'm at a total loss and getting really frustrated! Help please!!!!!!!!

My itunes wont let me sync music onto my ipod touch, even though i have a ton of music on my touch already

My itunes is currently empty with no music in the library when i try and add music by dragging and dropping. (which used to work) i try and sync but it dont copy onto my touch. Any ideas?
I have tried restoring the ipod and also re-downloading itunes.

You can only drag and drop if you have iTunes configured to manually manage music. With the iPod connected to the compute go to the Summary pane for the iPod and check the box under Options that says sync only checked songs and videos.

Itunes just asked me to do another update yesterday. But it's still not working. when ever i try to sync music to my ipod touch it keeps saying itunes is not responding and it freezes. Itunes please fix this problem!!!!!:-(

Itunes still is not working correctly. There was a software update that i received yesterday and i figured it would fix the problem with itunes not responding, but it didn't. It's still doing the same thing. I'm getting kinda annoyed cause i use itunes as my main music player so please help me fix this software issue thanks!

Can't sync music with new iPod Touch. Help!

I recently received a new iPod Touch for Christmas. However, last night, my moniter on my computer stopped working. So, until I was able to purchase a new one, I simply hooked up and old moniter to my hard drive so I could use my computer.
This moniter is very old, and considerably smaller than my other one, but I thought that it would work just fine. But today, I went to register my new ipod, and the registration screen on itunes was way too small. I could only see about three fourths of the page. I was unable to see and press certain buttons that I would need to in order to register my ipod and sync my music.
So, I went on the iTunes website and went ahead and registered my ipod there. Now, when I plugged in my ipod again, it was still asking me to register it on itunes, but I can't because of my screen. and I can't scroll left or right, because there isn't even a scroll bar.
My ipod is already registered, but now, does anyone know how I can skip the itunes registering process so I can just go ahead and get my music?

Yes, I did that. But my screen is too small, so when it comes to the Terms and Conditions page, the only options I can see are Cancel and Save.
I already registered the iPod on the iTunes website. Can I go ahead and sync my music now? Or must I go through a registration process on the iTunes program in order to get my music?

Trying to sync my music (eonly certain albums and artists) from iTunes 10 to my iPod Touch 4.
I have the iOS 5 update loaded to my iPod. It starts step 1 and just says "waiting fo rsync to start",
then after a while it gives me a separate error box that reads "The iPod 'Kari's iPod Touch" could not be synced because the sync session failed to start."
Last week I was removing programs that I didn't think I needed and I deleted Bonjour. Could this have anything to do with it?
I am operating on a Dell Optiplex on Windows XP Pro.

The problem seems to be in the photo syncing portion of the routine.

Why is iTunes 11 taking so long to sync music to my iPod Touch Gen 5?

I have the latest version of iTunes installed on my Macbook, mid-2012 (Mountain Lion OS). I recently upgrade my iPod Touch 5 (64GB) to iOS7, and in the process, was forced to reload all 10,000+ or so songs in my library onto the iPod again. I have the conversion checkbox set to "128K" for my music, so that I can cram more songs into the iPod, and it literally took 32 hours before the "syncing" stopped. I tried again, just for the **** of it, with the conversion unchecked, and it was much faster, but still took 5-6 hours to transfer a reduced number of songs. Before iOS 7, and before the new iTunes revision, this process, with conversion, took a couple of hours for 10,000 songs - maybe a little more - but certainly nowhere near 30 hours!
Is anyone else having this experience?
